Purchased, washing machines, televisions, kitchen appliances, small household items, every time it works great, the couriers are usually independent and sometimes they use toll, It is worth getting freight protection/extended care for certain items because even with the add on, it is still far cheaper then competitors.
Kogan, Kogan, what a plight, A trick you played, late one night. I sought a game, a gift to share, Yet found deceit laid lurking there. I never shop within your walls, For often your service falls. This time I thought, just one quick buy, Yet you charged me on the sly. A membership I didn't seek, One twenty-nine, it left me weak. Your tactics low, your cunning deep, In fine print hidden, shadows creep. Careful am I, with eyes so sharp, Yet still, you struck with your dark art. A gift of joy, now tinged with spite, As Kogan's scheme comes into light. Why this trick, this lowly game, To charge a fee, bring buyer's shame? Undo this wrong, make it right, Restore the trust, lost in the night.
Paid for Lenoxx Cd & Record Player Home Entertainment Centre on 30 July. My first "purchase" with them. Took my money. Heard nothing for 3 weeks. Then delivered to wrong address. No phone no. To ring. Emails by me mostly ignored. Initiated for refund through Paypal. Kogan asked me for my address (again!) which I sent and they haven't responded to after 4 days! 7 weeks has elapsed now! They still have delivered NOTHING and have my money! Avoid this company. They have 43% of their reviews at the lowest possible rating in one consumer rating review that I read, and apparently heaps of matters referred to Consumer Affairs. They continue to bombard me with unwanted advertising material too. Deal with JB HiFi. A reputable business, rather than this mob.
Stayed home the whole day when they said delivery was out of warehouse (expected in today) and driver couldn't find the address, didn't have the courtesy to try and contact me at all. Had to wait another 4 days for it to be delivered. On both times customer support was also unapologetic about the matter (borderline arrogant even) about this issue. Don't even bother with this company will never touch them again.
Kogan is a terrible website, they completely scammed me into getting their yearly membership which costs $99 and refuse to refund me even tho I do not want it nor have any intention of using it. It has now cost me $120 for a plastic phone case. Will not be buying from here again!
After a difficult time with a mobile phone purchased from one of Kogan's third-party suppliers, including poor delivery service, I vowed to never use Kogan again, only to discover it had already signed me up to Kogan First for $59 and auto-debited my bank account. They will claim the forced-upon and unwanted 14-day trial period had expired. No warning of autodebit and autorenewal prior to enactment or option to cancel.
Tip for consumers:
Be wary of a $59 Kogan First membership tacked onto price unless you intend to do a lot of shopping with Kogan over the next 12 months.

Mobile phone and protective plastic case.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I have been trying to contact Kogan customer service for 5 days now and they have not responded or rectified the issue of an incorrect delivery address. They told me on the 27th December they can not change the address but I can cancel the order "maybe" if I ask them to. I have sent repeated emails requesting cancellation of the order and they have taken my money with no response. Very poor customer service, the fact that they can not be reached by phone is ridiculous, I have repeatedly asked for a call back and nothing.
Tip for consumers:
Do not use Kogan if you want quality customer service

Have not received the product
I have been waiting since 26th December for a vacuum cleaner. According to tracking all that has happened is the money is sorted. Not even at the warehouse yet. Think I've been taken! Customer service doesn't work and phone cuts out before you get to speak to anyone.
Kogan first member read the fine print completely admits to no refund of $60 membership fee even if you cancell before end of trial period unless you switch off the auto renewal button it's a complete deception
Purchased a bicycle late July. Kogan says they dispatched it. Courier company says never dispatched, although an entry note with a tracking number was created. Going back and forth with the helpdesk since it is the only mode of communication. Your emails are replied after 24hrs and sometimes more. Keep saying the same thing informing they are investigating. Its been over a month and still no resolution. The item was $200 with $50 for delivery, so not cheap to just forget about it. It may be a case Kogan never intended to fulfill the order. The same item is now on pre-sale with delivery in February 2021. I believe, when i purchased the item, they really did not have a it in stock. Very bad practice.
I purchased tv, router, hifi for $1724 including $22.99 delivery fee. (I am FIRST member they should NOT charge me) during lockdown. Delivery was late than its time frame. Even worse, they didn't send to your address, instead to the post office. The hifi parts was sent to two post offices. Also the delivery lied " nodody is home". In face we also were at home during lockdown time. We still haven't received tv until now. It's extremely hard to contact them. Only by email, god knows when they reply you. They are Very disappointing and depressing.
"First " is a scam if you live outside of Metro Melbourne.
After I paid $100 to become a "first " member (includes free delivery) I was quoted delivery fees. I tried to contact Kogan, with no luck, and eventually found a link where all postcodes that Kogan do not deliver and there are literally hundreds. I have unsubscribed from their email list but still receive approximately 10 everyday.
Tip for consumers:
I was a member and purchased quite a few products which I was generally happy with. They knew my postcode and they knew that I would not receive free delivery if I purchased “First “.
I don’t trust Kogan…….
Grade Z experience with Kogan
I bought a coffee maker from Kogan (Todo). It was faulty.
Trying to get customer service from Kogan is pointless - once they've sold you the item, you're on your own. They deliberately make the "Online Help" form misleading and virtually impossible to navigate.
Not only will I never deal with Kogan ever again, I'll be more than pleased to elaborate my experiences to any potential customer of Kogan. Don't fall into the trap of dealing with this hopeless and awful Grade "Z" company.
Save your time and frustration and deal locally or buy via eBay. Dealing with Kogan is simply not worth it.
After another order I raised a customer care ticket. That's where the sh... t fight begun. I have to say, the request I made is an average difficulty, but nobody seem to know what they need to do about it and even worse - they aren't reading previous correspondence, asking the same questions over and over again. Today they sent me an email saying that I haven't replied to them for a while and they want to close my query. In fact I was waiting for their response for nearly a week after 2 weeks of pointless communication back and force. I need my query to be solved but instead I feel like I'm babysitting their customer care team...
Super dodgy
I ordered two things through kogan.
They push you into signing up for a "free" trial of their very expensive membership.
They don't let you delete your card details from their system.
They charge you then.
The only way to contact them is by logging into your account, through their online portal.
But they delete or "lose" your complaints.
When I then lodged the complaint a third time (asking them to refund the incorrectly charged amount, delete my credit card information), they send an autoresponse that says "if you still need help, please contact us again".
Do I have to cancel my credit card to stop this dodgy incorporated company from continuing to take my money?
Tip for consumers:
stay away - not worth the hassle

Well I am still waiting to hear back from them for having taken money from my credit card for their "first" programme.
this retailer has a reputation for this sort of thing - ie "losing" customer complaints and feedback in their system, noting that the only way they allow you to contact them is through their online portal. They control the data and information and so they can delete it at any time, just like the customer never contacted them in the first place.

Terrible Service! Purchase items, didnt arrive, paid for freight protection that apparently covers me for items list in transit, Kogan dont and wont help! Would have more fun throwing money down a drain! This company needs to be shut down! Terrible!
Don't buy from Kogan, not if you think you may need to contact customer support. I bought the above laptop plus SD card for my son. The laptop arrived and is working as expected. However, the SD card did not arrive. Trying to contact customer support is, literally, impossible. I found a phone number that is always busy. There is no online chat. You can contact customer service, but you need to have Kogan find your order first. Sounds simple, but the message that consistently came up is that no order could be located. I know a SD card is not an expensive item. However, not being able to contact the company is very poor. I'm lucky the laptop arrived, I think.
Worst contact system of any online service. I have been trying to contact them for a item not received. There is no question for customers not receiving orders in time.
Unnecessary multiple online direction to go around around again to inform the problems but never worked. You guys are sending 100s mails without asking customers but no reply for all your emails. Please do not frustrate yours customer and be a responsible on line seller with a bloody phone line to serve customers struggling to contact you. This review is to improve your service if u take it constructively.
Its a very job, to claim your orders, after they had been paid, but NOT delivered!. I am very dissapointed with Kogan. They are using dishonest sellers, under their own Website, so be careful, because the majority are rookies, trying to make money, in a very irresponsible manner.
Frank.
Tip for consumers:
To know if the seller have been verified by Kogan, other ways if NOT, you just have to play mouse and cat in order to ever get your order!.

Laundry Cabinet. The seller was called himself as Felip, under the Kogan Website.
Absolute piece of $#*!, bottom of the pile, garbage products. Sucked in once but never again. Not only arw their products garbage but their so called after sales service is worse than Telstra. That's bad. Don't waste your time or money. Spend the extra couple of hundred and buy a reputable brand. If you must shop on their website, just don't buy anything that is branded $#*!, sorry, Kogan. You'll regret it if you do.
Don't expect to receive your order, my order was supposed to be here and then I get an email saying that it has been cancelled? I needed this book for my university studies and now I won't be able to access it for another week as I will have to buy at another place. I have read many reviews saying that Kogan has cancelled many other people's orders last minute. A waste of time and very annoying.
Do not purchase from Kogan. They take no responsibility for the inadequacy of their sellers if there is a problem. After 4 weeks of waiting for an item and countless emails it was the intervention of Paypal that saved the day. It was unnecessary. Kogan should have dealt with it.
Kogan allows children to sign up to their Kogan First two week free trial, expects them to read and understand their terms and conditions and then debits money from the kids accounts. They then have no means or methods to allow the parent to contact them to discuss the situation. This is at least an unethical practice if not illegal.
Anyone who want to buy from kogan, don't bother to opt for freight protection, my lcd monitor comes without a power adapter and their customer service didn't give me any updates after I filed the complaint ( I opt for freight protection and express shipping)
There is no customer service or care from this company. They take your money and don't want to know if anything goes wrong.
I purchased my first product from Kogan and there was an issue the day it arrived. I contact them that day and their response was to say it's not their problem and refer me to a third party. Thye have just completely washed their hands of the situation. They also spam email several times a day trying to get me to buy more stuff off them.
I would never buy from them again.
Tip for consumers:
There is no customer service and they spam email you trying to sell you all sorts of random stuff. I would NOT recommend them.

I bought a robot vacuum and it was missing parts.
Without my knowledge or permission I was charged membership to kogan first. It became impossible to withdraw from this scam and resulted in having to cancel my credit card. Will never buy from this unscrupulous mob again.
Me, like many others, are without consent signed up for a scam "loyalty" program and hit with a bogus charge without warning. What gives away the without consent part is there are monthly and yearly charges. I did not get to choose, did not get to see T&Cs and got hit with the highest, yearly charge automatically. There is no way to contact them directly, it's all automated. Beware this company, very dodgy.
