Purchased, washing machines, televisions, kitchen appliances, small household items, every time it works great, the couriers are usually independent and sometimes they use toll, It is worth getting freight protection/extended care for certain items because even with the add on, it is still far cheaper then competitors.

I ordered an electronic item which was supposed to arrive within 3-5 days has still not arrived, it is now 23 days late. On checking with Kogan Customer Service more than 3 times already), they refer to the vendor who responds that it is coming pls wait and there is no tracking on small items, and on the third contact, mentioned we will ship another item out, but nothing has arrived. On requesting a refund, Kogan does not respond to the refund request but send mail for vendor to respond.

I am wasting an awful lot of time for a $29 item, I wonder how many people are caught out this way, just disregard the follow-up and take the loss.

Beware when you use Kogan marketplace with unscrupulous vendors, better off with the more reliable global marketplaces.

Tip for consumers:
Please do not use the Kogan marketplace, as they have unscrupulous vendors, who give you the run around when you don't get an item and suggest that there is no tracking for small items.

Products used:
I paid for a small, low value electronic item, but did not get the item.

Star rating should be zero, but I can't give zero starts, as I got zero value.

Purchased two London lounges they are so uncomfortable you can not lay on them without a cushion. They don't come with cushions and the joins jab into your back. $300 down drain Kogan customer service only said we could return them at our cost. Never buy from Kogan crap product! Crap service!

I bought I robot s6 vacuum & mop for $799. After I paid a week, they keep taking another $99.00 from my account with no reason. Also the customer Service is terrible, when I need help, no phone number to contact & website is not good to contact at all. I need my money back ASAP!

What respectable company doesn't even offer their customers the option of exchanging an item when the incorrect size was ordered? Terrible customer service and no sympathy what so ever. Stay away from these crooks! Never buying from Kogan again.

Ordered an item close to $1,000. Kogan chose to use the absolute worst freight forwarding company, Hunter Express, who do not take calls, Giv you a very open delivery time slot 1-2 days, still waiting. Two full days spent at home waiting and no goods. Because customers have nothing better to do with their time... So angry. I can take a picture of nothing because that's what's been delivered

Suction power is negligible even on boost. Fills with dust in a small amount of time. Needs to be cleaned thoroughly after each use. Cleaning is a nightmare. Parts are tight to remove and then it is difficult to reassemble. Have on old Volta bagged vacuum which I think was built when Jesus was full back for the Nazareth magpies and it works infinitely better despite being heavy and difficult to manoeuvre. But in all seriousness the Kogan product is purely and simply junk. I wouldn't give it away. Kogan should be ashamed and ultimately be held to account for passing this rubbish on to an unsuspecting public

The product was one use face masks at a very good price compared to other similar products, I needed them quickly as I had nearly run out, so I paid for Express Post rather than normal basic postage, as it stated they would arrive within 48 hours after being picked. Trouble is, it took a week for Kogan to pick the order, 2 boxes of masks, really! I did put a complaint in and they did get back to me, 5 days later on the day the masks arrived, to tell me my order was delivered, really I didn't know this! They never addressed the issue, so dismissed my complaint. Kogan is cheap but so is their service. So would I ever use them again? No way!

I ordered a 55" TV Nov. 20
It was dispatched Nov. 22
However a 50" arrived... how they screwed this up I'll never know.
I refused delivery and it was returned.
Next day Kogan called at 7:30 am and promised to send a replacement.
Since then nothing - you can't speak to them nor will that answer on email.
My order status showed returned.
Now it's reverted to dispatched 22 Nov... why?
They continue to advertise the same model at the price I paid some 6 day later... so it's not a stock issue.
What are you doing Kogan?

Oh well time to go to fair trading

Tip for consumers:
It's really hard to say anything but avoid them - their system has no capacity to rectify errors of their making, so as a customer you get screwed

I was asked by Kogan contrary to Australian Consumer Law that I was responsible for postage and technical assessment of the broken monitor which has an obvious defect. It doesn't turn on anymore. I photographed the resultant white screen to be told this was somehow my fault.
With the goods under a one year replacement guarantee!

Own a cattery refurbished it with Kogan furniture 12 months ago all good. Re order this year cost $800 happy, delivery fee $800 what a con their response we contract out transport well what happened last year. Smells like bull$#*! to me.

Hi everyone,
Very poor quality and service. I highly recommend please don't purchase anything from kogan. This is the worst purchase site in Australia.
I purchased tv from them and took extended care warranty paid lots of extra for warranty. Tv not worked over all one year and stopped on off. Now two months passed since then kogan customer care not resolving. Not replying because you can reach them only by email. Every time different staff replies (if they do) and they doesn't know anything about this. Very frustrating and sick from this.
So please never use kogan if you wanna save your money and time.

I bought Christmas gift in Oct. 2021 to avoid Christmas rush. Delivery date was given mid Jan. 2022 They said refund will be given in 3 to 5 days. Omg after back and fourth struggling to get answers, finally refunded in Jan. 2022. This company is a joke. Customer service is a big fat zero. Absolutely hopeless. Never buying from them ever again. Had to take the matter to consumer affairs but they refunded. Got scared right. Not a happy customer at all.

Tip for consumers:
Run as fast as you can. Never buying from them ever again.

I spent $377 (including postage) on a bicycle that never arrived. I emailed customer service and they told me the delay was due to industrial action at Port Botany. They refunded my money within a few days so overall they did well in a bad situation.

FRAUDE! Misleading by advertising wrong product and sending different product. Kogan is responsible, too.
Worst seller according to my personal experience and reviews on other websites! Seller claims they are selling Artiss Office Chair Computer Desk Gaming Chairs and put all photos of this item while has sent me different product which is totally different from what they are advertising on their page on kogan. Immediate refund is needed!

Tip for consumers:
Kogan allows frauds and scammers use its platform without being held responsible! I will never buy anything from KOGAN.com

Bought a Kogan Dehumdifier. After four-five months of use it stopped working. It turns on but no longer sucks out the water. I actually liked the product so I asked for a replacement as under Australian Consumer Law they are required to if the product does not work.

Moron representative Dahlia T expects me to film an 8 hour video of it not sucking out water. Not sure how stupid you can get.

I purchased 3 mobile phones i received only 2 in the post and can not get a reply from kogan I keep asking for a phone number to contact them directly about this matter but they refuse.

Thieves better to pay a little extra and go to Harvey Norman or jb hi fi

Had the worst, most unprofessional online buying experience with Kogan.com!
I order a product sold by them during a sale period and after three weeks of making the payment I was surprised that they cancelled the order because they had "overwhelming demand"!
Surprisingly, that overwhelming demand didn't prevent them from continue selling the same item for a higher price on the website!
So not only they held my money for 3 weeks, but they also made me miss other good opportunities that were offered during the time of the sale! And they are making false claims of high demand to sell products for higher price!
How is this but a scam!

I purchased an iPhone X and Samsung S9+ for my wife and I, the iPhone arrived without the extras we paid for, and the Samsung didn't even work, it had water damage and it's original screen was replaced with a knock off. Kogan's customer "care" hide behind e-mails and policies that simply don't rectify the issues. We also bought moderately priced phone cases, which turned out to be those cheap $2 cases off Wish, and do more damage to the phones than protect them. We also paid for express shipping (next day delivery), and it took over a week to arrive, without any public holidays in the way. What a waste of $1100. This is why people buy from overseas websites and not Australian websites anymore.

Avoid this site. I ordered a Kogan 1800W Compact Flame Effect Heater for nearly $100 and it was nothing but a hairdryer that made more noise than produced heat. Even the flame effect on its own made a very annoying sound. Very very poor quality product. Furthermore, they offered free shipping if signing up for membership but the fact that they were going to charge $7 a month without notification was not clearly advised.

Tip for consumers:
Beware of the Kogan First Membership, terms and conditions are tricky and after more than a year of paying without being notified even once, I had not a single reward of any kind.
The description of products is very limited, possibly to hide the low quality of products.

The heater for a while but it was so noisy and did not have thermostat so I stopped using it

Product took 3 weeks to get here, arrived with out the operating dongle, Kogan flick you off onto a dodgy dealer who send you stupid emails that don't make any sense.
Kogan and there dodgy suppliers are not to be trusted, save your self a lot of time and heart ache & find a reputable dealer.

Couldn't use the Wireless keyboard I purchased as it did not come with the operating dongle .

Kogan has the worst customer service.
There is no phone number to call, all emails.
They offer a call back service but will never call you.
They offer next day dispatch but that really means next week dispatch.
Any questions asked about your order will result in longer delays and holds on your order.
Recently Kogan was caught and fined by the consumer watchdog for marking all its prices up 10% and then having a 10% off store wide sale.

They are dodgy! Shop anywhere else!

Washing machine failed after 3 washes. This was in November 2019. After contacting them about problem, they said they would send a repair man out. Repair man said part that was needed was not even in Australia.
Christmas without a washing machine, numerous phone and email contacting achieved nothing. Raised a paypal complaint. Kogan wanted that removed. No way. Expected to package up machine, packaging was thrown away when machine was installed. Finally in February 2020 they picked up the machine and refunded our money. I bought a GE washing machine, no problems with it. Appliances on Line were fantastic. I will never ever buy from Kogan again. The treatment we received from them was disgusting.

Bought an air conditioner from them - delivery guy would not bring it in the house, said they are not allowed to enter people's homes. So somehow I am supposed to lug an air conditioner that weighs more than i do up the front steps by myself? If you can't lift it/carry it, don't buy it, because delivery doesn't include getting it INTO your house, but they will charge you $50 for "delivery".

Having recently received a brand new surface pro 7 I was super excited to set it up and put it to use, only to find that during setup it encountered 4 different stopcode errors(Blue screen of death) through out the setup process, contacting customer support is a nightmare over 24 hours for a response only to be given troubleshooting information for 1 stopcode error that requires a working system! Then no response when i replied that it was not a viable option! Stay away from kogan the customer support is designed to be as hard to access as possible and definitely not supportive

Dont mmm use kogan!!! They are rerrible

Don't buy from Kogan brought washing machine not working after 3 washes blows fuses to house and got electrical shock. Customer service is none existent. Receive emails then when respond no follow up is given. I'm spending $50 a week at laundry Matt a week while I wait. I'm going to seek remedy from ACCC. Buy products from a store that offer customer service. And I bet ‘Ross' the automatic responder will reply to this review. They don't even care enough to respond to poor reviews. Don't buy washing machines from Kogan.
