I have now sent more than 10 emails to Kogan with non response. I purchased a TV and the remote has died within a few months. I have emailed them (they have no number to call), they said they would send more than a week ago - but they haven't posted yet - I email every day and they will not contact me. I will never buy from them again and I can't believe a company as big as theres - doesn't have a number to call for problems. Happy to sell you stuff but not happy to help you when it dies under warranty. I will tell everyone I know that they should not buy from this dodgy company.
The worst service ever, I received my shoes and found them to be too small, contacted them strait away, well within the 14 day rules, they offered me an exchange by purchasing another pair online at a inflated price, then said they would match it but didn't. Then sent me a bill so I paid and now they are not replying to me, haven't refunded my original purchase and I have also paid to send the original ones back. I'm still trying to get a refund from my original purchase and they are stalling and saying they see another contact request is pending and will be in touch but it has been quite some time. USELESS!

Hi I ordered 19 of this units but 5 of them a leaking hydraulic oil please have a look at the attached pictures. I have also lodge another claim for one that I purchase earlier the ticket numbers are ******* and *******. How do I go about getting this product exchange as this 6 units that I have here are faulty. I haven't heard back from anyone about my first email on 08/01/22. I need someone to contact me urgently in regards to this issue. If I don't hear back from Kogan within 48 hours I will have no option but to contact Consumer Affair and lodge a formal complaint and I will also be contacting American Express for them to revert the payment for the last invoice in full till someone from Kogan contact me the first issue was lodge on 08/01/22 and not to hear back from Kogan in this period of time is not acceptable. I'm giving them 1 star so I can report this scam. If i could give them 0 star that what they would be getting
Refusing to abide by Australian Warranty and Consumer law. Don't buy from them tell others. They need to be held accountable for poor quality products and poor customer service... email only
I bought Christmas gift in Oct. 2021 to avoid Christmas rush. Delivery date was given mid Jan. 2022 They said refund will be given in 3 to 5 days. Omg after back and fourth struggling to get answers, finally refunded in Jan. 2022. This company is a joke. Customer service is a big fat zero. Absolutely hopeless. Never buying from them ever again. Had to take the matter to consumer affairs but they refunded. Got scared right. Not a happy customer at all.
Kogan, you guys need to improve on your customer service and communication. Also, your story telling is extraordinary! Informing me an attempted delivery was made?! To find out from my camera that no delivery was attempted. Later to find out you messed up and the job was put on the courier but no package!. Delivery was supposed to be 1-2 Days?!. Lost count of how many emails were sent back and forward! New courier details were sent out, package was never put on second courier as confirmed by courier (Allied Express). Then was informed that my package was returned to warehouse (courier never picked it up?!) How was package returned if courier didn't pick up?. (package was never sent out!). Order was placed on the 25th of November it didn't get delivered until the 29th of December.
Many excuses were made but no accountability was taken. Had to explain to family member that the TV I had ordered was not going to be here for Christmas. Thank you Kogan for your awesome work!
If I could give 0 stars I would. I have been trying to contact Kogan customer service for 5 days now and they have not responded or rectified the issue of an incorrect delivery address. They told me on the 27th December they can not change the address but I can cancel the order "maybe" if I ask them to. I have sent repeated emails requesting cancellation of the order and they have taken my money with no response. Very poor customer service, the fact that they can not be reached by phone is ridiculous, I have repeatedly asked for a call back and nothing.
Super dodgy
I ordered two things through kogan.
They push you into signing up for a "free" trial of their very expensive membership.
They don't let you delete your card details from their system.
They charge you then.
The only way to contact them is by logging into your account, through their online portal.
But they delete or "lose" your complaints.
When I then lodged the complaint a third time (asking them to refund the incorrectly charged amount, delete my credit card information), they send an autoresponse that says "if you still need help, please contact us again".
Do I have to cancel my credit card to stop this dodgy incorporated company from continuing to take my money?
They offer you a 14-day free trial for Kogan First. Looks great but they don't make it clear that once you go over the 14 days, they automatically charge $49. It would be fairer if they put- 'Kogan First $49 yearly subscription, FREE if you cancel in the first 14 days'.
So that's dodgy, but the biggest problem is- when I go to log in to my account to cancel, I have to send a verification email. And the email does not come, so I can't log into my account to cancel the Kogan First. I've been using Kogan for years but after these 2 dodgy practices, I'm not using them anymore.
The site says delivery in 1-2 days. It has been more than a week and the site shows that the order is still processing in the warehouse.
No customer service, no replies to any queries. I would give 1% of a star if I could, and I would only give 1% to be polite...
They give absolutely wrong size chart. I bought 5 pairs of shoes for my son. There is a difference in the shoe length even in the same brand the same size. The shoes that they sent to me, claiming that it is EU44, look like skis. Every pair longer that it has to be at least two-three centimeters. I relied on their shoe chart. Never again buy from Kogan. Crap experience. Now I spent 5 hours taking pictures, re-sizing them and consulting the PAYPAL re how to refund my money, because it is impossible to do it through their website. People! Do not buy from Kogan, if something would go wrong, you will cry and swear.
$#*! website, bad customer service. Never buy Kogan gift card or voucher. You will never get out of it. The vouchers can't be used conjunction with one another, you can't choose which voucher you want to use. It is really a $#*! website. When I buy at eBay or Amazon, I never have that kind of problem.
Don't trust Kogan in any way, you cannot contact them directly in any way except via their online website, no direct email or phone number or address to contact and they never reply to complaints, "NEVER TRY KOGAN FIRST 14 DAY FREE TRIAL", it is not free at all, you CANNOT cancel it ever, once it is in place it is there for ever and your credit card will be charged $49.00 every year forever, I tried to cancel 4 times, have receipt stating cancelled but still billed, no replies to my emails, cannot close account, I had to cancel my credit card (pain), Consumer Affairs are well aware of Kogan complaints they have had a lot but the amount is insufficient to investigate, my bank is investigating the FRAUD but Kogan will not reply too them, their products are also not reduced as they state, their sale price is the actual normal price not their false advertised discounted 70% or more off price, their items can be purchased in normal retail places and usually cheaper, I am disgusted in Kogan.
During my shopping online experience, I was consistently encouraged to join "Kogan 1st" for a 14 day free trial that had free shipping and reduced prices for certain items I was buying if I ticked "yes" to trying the free trial. I figured sure why not. When I got to the payment page, items had been discounted with free shopping applied. Great I thought and went ahead and purchased them. Imagine my SHOCK! When I received an invoice from Kogan via email for not only the full cost of the items but shipping charges for all of them as well!
I sent an email to their help email address (they've got no call centre whatsoever!) and received an automated reply along the lines of "Oh you're wondering why you've been charged the $49 for Kogan First... blah blah blah" (which leads me to think that this is not an isolated complaint from consumers.) However the automated response did not address the fact I was charged full price for items and shipping after clicking the 14 day trial, so I replied back, and got... crickets.
I have attempted 3 more times to get an actual response back with absolutely nothing. I also tried a number of Kogan 1300 numbers only to get nowhere and not even get to speak to an actual person!
Kogan, I should report you to Consumer Affairs for false advertising and consumer entrapment!
In the meantime, I will never be shopping from you again, and shouting it from the rooftops to anyone who will listen to never purchase from Kogan! Pick up your game Kogan!
I bought a new brand Samsung phone from them. But they send me a used one. You can see from the pics box does not have the company seal and they used their stickers as a fake seal.
There is no phone to communicate with them, Only email and they respond to your emails after 24 hours with a few meaningless words and no actual action.
Unfortunately, it is not very easy in Australia to chase scammers and they are kind of aware of it. However my recommendation to the fellows please protect your time and money and avoid these overseas Indians.
I purchased tv, router, hifi for $1724 including $22.99 delivery fee. (I am FIRST member they should NOT charge me) during lockdown. Delivery was late than its time frame. Even worse, they didn't send to your address, instead to the post office. The hifi parts was sent to two post offices. Also the delivery lied " nodody is home". In face we also were at home during lockdown time. We still haven't received tv until now. It's extremely hard to contact them. Only by email, god knows when they reply you. They are Very disappointing and depressing.
Order a air-fryer a month ago kogan supplied me a false tracking number, Delivery company reckons they didn't pick up any order from kogan that was address to me, Kogan has been giving me the big run around cant find out any information. They have no customer service, Ive been sending endless messages to them.
