LabCorp fails to inform the offices that use it's services of any fees, ( for the patients) what so ever, to the point where if you call the doctors, (I say doctors because it seems to happen everywhere I'm cursed to deal with this company) they have no clue why you're being charged... not informed of any charges before hand... I have a pretty awesome insurance it has to be I pay 500$ a month for it, with what is supposed to be a set co -pay for these services (at least it's what happens at other labs... instead I get a ton of random different bills, (For routine always the same blood work.) from this junk company... lets say... what if you want to fill up your gas tank at the same gas station you have always gone to... but here's the catch you don't know what the cost per gallon is until you get home two weeks later and check your mail to find, BOOM! You have 4 to 5 bills from the gas station, for one fill up, for a randomly made up cost per gallon sounds horrid? YEAH! Well this is what you get with labcorp GO else where if you can... be informed of where your labs get sent... don't blame your doctor for bills from this joke of a company.
I was informed at check-in that Medicare would not cover 2 of the ordered blood tests and as a result I had to sign to indicate I was responsible for the bill. I immediately declined having the test, stating I have been unemployed for over 1.5 years and could not afford $300. Plus dollars for 2 lab tests. The employee replied... Oh don't worry, if insurance declines "WE" will call your doctor and get another diagnosis and resubmit the claim.
Not only did LabCorp not call my doctor for another diagnosis, I learned I had to do so. Unfortunately, my doctor can only provide the diagnosis in my medical chart which is not covered by insurance. I was led to believe by their employee that the test would be covered by the women who registered me. With each bill I send a letter back explaining this, that I declined the 2 tests as I cannot afford to pay and the employee telling me not to worry... BUT LabCorp is now sending me to collections... I even stated I would pay what insurance approves but not $352 for tests I did not want.
Very sad what is happening to seniors on a limited income... trusted their / LabCorp employee and now being sent to collections.
Only if I used PC lab would never have happened! LabCrop is NOT COOL, I having emotional distress every time I opened LCA Collections mail. I have a very good credit scores that I been building it for most of my adult life there for I don't want these little lapcorps bill put me on this failure system. I have to called every time to settle the matter. But keep happening, I don't know what to say! Beware of your next visiting doctor office if blood works need to be done make sure it not LabCrop, doctor can give you different refer lab.
THEY SAY I OWE A BILL AND I HAVE PROOF OF PAYMENT BUT YOU CAN'T SPEAK TO A PERSON AND THEN THEY WANT ME TO SEND ALL KINDS OF PROOF BY MAIL OR FAX...WHY CAN'T I EMAIL LIKE EVERYONE ELSE IN 2023! THE HOOPS I'VE HAD TO JUMP THROUGH AND THE THREATENING LETTERS FROM LABCORP ARE LAUGHABLE AT BEST.
Was told two weeks ago lab results were ready.when I contacted labcorp to GET the results I was told someone would be in touch with me shortly,, Two weeks later.no contact.no results. I cant imagine a company this poorly run can stay in business. Oh let me guess,,they are highly dependent on Medicare and Medicaid and providind timely patient info isnt a priority. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS! Edward M Tucson AZ
Went to Monroe NJ office for blood work. The staff was very nice. The girl who drew my blood got me with one stick. I was grateful as I have awful veins. All in all a good experience.
The lab Corp on village dr has a desk receptionist that obviously doesn't like her job. Her attitude is poor and they are not helpful. 0 stars snd learn customer service!
My physican usually has an in house technician do my testing, lapcorp only provides me with my results on the app. The only times I've actually needed to go into their offices is when I got to experience their horrible customer service, and lack of knowledge from their technicians. I do have to point out that the african american lady in the San Bernardino, Ca office is beyond rude, I don't know how she's still employed there. Results for Covid have also taken an extensive amount of time to get processed. I've been waiting for over 3 weeks with no work awaitimg the final report tonreturn to work. I'm unable to get any answer, although I've submitted requests via email and phone as they instructed to have someone conta t me. Still waiting on a response. Unfortunately it's been all bad experiences for me.
Labcorp has some serious issues with their billing department that doesn't benefit anyone.
I got three vials of blood drawn so that a manifold of tests could be done on them. Since, labcorp has been flooding my inbox with mail. Instead of one big bill, I've been sent more little tiny bills than I can count. Most of them are less than $15. And apparently not all of those bills are being sent in the first place because after I went through with paying all of them, I'm now getting notices threatening to take me to collections for bills I never received before based off of the different invoice number. Who knows, maybe they're scamming me. The largest of those collection notices was for $12. I got those labs done like a month or two ago, and last I heard it usually costs a minimum of $15 to send a bill to collections so I don't know what kind of crack they're smoking but it must be some strong stuff. I swear with the credit card fees and all the money they're spending on mail I wouldn't be surprised if they're losing serious money harassing me unnecessarily
Made an online appointment for antibodies testing. Appointment was for 9:15. Arrived at 9, as requested and signed in from my car. At 9:30 I received text saying my technician was ready for me, so I should come up to office and wait for my name to Be called. When I got up stairs, I noticed many people standing and sitting in the hall. When I went into the room I counted 20 people inside the extremely small room waiting. After about 10 minutes of standing There in very close quarters, I went to the front desk to ask and was told she would get with me in a minute. Five minutes later she asked me for my paperwork. I told her I didn't have any because I had registered and done all that online. She said OK and had me wait longer. Finally I began having a panic attack and was told I was next. A technician came and called someone else! I spoke up and told her I was having panic attack. She took me right back. I was in the waiting room for 30 minutes, being exposed to all kind of germs. There were only two technicians to handle all these people! I was told they schedule 3 people for every appointment time.
Top notch professional service. Joyce located at the Thornton CO 120th & Colorado location very professional and has a great bed side manner.
Lab Corp is easy and convenient
As far as I can remember I have never posted negative feedback about a company until now. There is a practice among some medical facilities that everyone should be aware of. LabCorp specifically is one that uses a very deceptive practice. I went to a LabCorp facility to have blood work done and asked the girl at the counter if they accept Blue Cross Blue Shield. The woman behind the counter said yes we do. I gave her my card she typed a few things in the computer and off I went to get my blood work done. Several weeks passed and I received a bill for the total amount of the blood work. When I called to find out why, the representative said we accept all insurance cards. I said why did I get billed the total amount. Come to find out that Blue Cross Blue Shield is not in their Network. The representative explained to me that it's my responsibility to make sure that they are in my network. All the woman had to say to me at the counter was we accept your card but you may not be in our Network. I believe this is a very deceptive practice. I even had two people in their company tell me that they agreed with me. Anytime you work with your insurance somewhere be sure to ask them if you are in their Network. Apparently asking them if they accept your insurance is the wrong way to ask. I will never use LabCorp again. Even if they are in my network in the future. A company with these type of practices is not one I want to trust my blood work with.
Unprofessional, disrespectful and Immature staff. Woman at the window was sarcastic. The so-called phlebotomist blew a vein in the top of my hand. She put it near my wrist! Then she went to the other hand and blew a vein there, too. She did not take one full vial of blood. I walked out of there without saying anything and she was calling out thank you, have a nice day, take care, very sarcastically! I am a woman of 67 years old and all my life I have been treated badly by plain, fat, thick glasses, stringy haired, females, obviously jealous because I look nothing like them even at my age I was better looking than them. Not being conceited only factual. They both should be punished in someway. I've gone to the LabCorp in San Antonio on Village Drive. The place is beautiful and has very good and competent staff. I went to the location at 1303 McCullough in San Antonio because I had another appointment later that day in the same building. I would never go there again nor recommend it at all. Things like this should not happen, there are many good competent friendly and pleasant people out there looking for jobs. Please, I would love to know the results of this outcome, thank you very much.
I have never been to a more unprofessional, filthy and RACIST lab company in my life! I've been to several Labcorp's and they are LITERALLY ALL THE SAME! God forbid you need to ask the "person" at the front desk a question, especially if you aren't the same skin color. The racism is rampant and should be addressed by corporate immediately! They claim "DIVERSITY"? Well, if you are a certain color, you're fine, if not -- THERE IS NO DIVERSE CULTURE! And for God sakes, take a mop to the floor once in a while. Seriously! If I could give less than 1 star, that would be my choice!
LabCorp is a criminal Enterprisegives out fraudulent DNA test. After a very poor experience at the Altamonte Springs LabCorps location it was an absolute joy to find Kiba, my phlebotomist at the Fern Park Walgreens. She was such a pleasure to deal with both in manner and efficiency. One easy poke was all it took to take my blood. Thank you so much Kiba. You made it worth it to drive extra miles to get to you.
Went to get blood work and hurine sample. I could not at the time give hurine sample but she did take the blood. I asaked if my doctor had to give another script to have the sample, and she replied yes. As i left my wife said why couldn't she just give you a cup and bring it back later. So i knocked on the door and asked if this can be done. Yes she replied, but never offered to to this. This person had quite and unhappy attitude in all respects. Big attitude problem and wasn't afraid to show it.
First time coming to this location. Upon entering the door, the receptionist was too engaged listening to heavy metal music on her desk top radio. She never lifted her head, she just pointed to a check in station on the other side of the room. No words of "hello" or how are you or welcome to LabCorp". No explanation on how to use the self check in station... AT ALL! After I figured it all out, I asked her if there was anything else I needed to do. She asked; what are you here for? Uh obviously blood work? DUH! Her next question was; "who are you"? THE PATIENT! I asked her who she was and her response; "I'm just the receptionist". Apparently no one told her that the title receptionist requires a personality, who is employed by an organization to receive or greet any visitors, patients, or clients and answer telephone calls with a smile and NOT by a metal head jamming to heavy metal music all day. I did find out that her name is Christina. Well dear Christina, you're in the wrong line of work. You're probably best suited working on an assembly line gluing erasers to pencils or some fast food chain building burgers where you can be obnoxious and rude to yourself and not give a sh**!
I have been a customer at LabCorp since I was young. Recently, at the end of 2020, I was required to have a drug screening prior to a clinical rotation for school and my first thought was to use LabCorp. After going to my visit, it only took about 3 days to get everything back and I was satisfied with the services. However, the bill I later received was astronomical when compared to past similar tests. As a full-time student during COVID, this was an unexpected expense and I noticed they had a financial aid form on their website. On a whim, I filled it out and sent it in. Around 2 weeks later, I received a letter from them stating it was 100% taken care off and I thought that would be that. I was wrong: I have received a bill for the services every 3-4 weeks since receiving the letter stating it would be covered. Each time, I have to contact them by phone and have it removed just to repeat the process again. This time around, the invoice was even sent via their in-house collection agency and, again, the letter and past record of my calls should get it removed. I am afraid that if this keeps occurring I will end up in some type of trouble all from a mistake on their part.
I am satisfied with my local LabCorp office, the speed of testing, and friendly faces, but with the difficulty I am having with their financial and customer service departments, I doubt I will ever use them again.
Answer: I have same question here, no training, but still get paid. Why? Because people allow them
Answer: Its sent out, they are just a profesional AQUIRE BUSSINESS FOR ALL THAT THEY GIVE SERVICE FOR
