I had an online appointment at labcorp and followed all the instructions online to complete the appointment process. I arrived 10 minutes before my appointment and checked in online as required. They say you can do that so you can sit in your car and wait instead of a crowded waiting room. They will text you at your appointment time to come in. My appointment time came and went and after about 8 or so minutes after the appointment time, I went into the waiting room. There was no receptionist in sight so I waited. I could hear the staff in the back talking and laughing and appeared to be having a good time. I waited another 10 minutes and a technician came out and called a patient to go back with her and I advised the tech that I had an appointment 15 minutes earlier. She told me to have a seat. Meantime a few more clients came in and registered along with a messenger who was delivering an item. Another 10 minutes went by and the tech called two additional clients back. The messenger got tired of waiting so he left. Finally the receptionist came back and sat down and after a few minutes, I contacted her and told her I had an appointment some time ago and she asked my name. At that point she finally checked her computer and then asked me for my lab order. I was then sent back to have my lab work completed. By this time it was 30 plus minutes past my appointment so I wondered why I even bothered to make an appointment. It is obvious to me that the staff was not very interested in helping the clients or trying to stay on schedule.
Tufts Medical recently switched to Labcorp. The performance has been awful to say the least. It takes a week to get lab results vs Tufts in house 1-2 days. I now go to another lab.
This is one of the worst if not the worst lab I have been the windows are covered with dirt also the waiting area has a funny sewage smell am changing lab.
At first I went to Lake Oswego only to find out I needed an appointment. The lady said I needed to go back home and go online for a scheduled appointment. SHE WAS EXTREMELY RUDE. I finally got an appointment in Vancouver yesterday on the 11th. (it was 10 days out from the original date). When I arrived at Walgreens/LabCorp the store was closed due to the cash machines inoperable. I went to the drive through pharmacy and they finally let me in for my drug screening. The OLDER man that assisted me was RUDE during the entire process. COME ON PEOPLE IF YOU DON'T LIKE WHAT YOU DO SIMPLY DON'T DO IT... HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE...
I a. Over 70 years old and use medicare and AARP supplement. If you use Medicare, do not use Labcorp if you can. I had history of high blood pressure and hight cholesterol (over 290) and pre-diabetes and UTI. Lately I was charged over us$1100 by Labcorp for blood test of cholesterol, vitamin D-3, A1C, Natriuretic peptide.
I have been to LabCorp.and I don't even want to give one star. It would be a -150.The front desk people are rude. Not only with me but they were rude to all other customers. They should understand that many of the customers are patients and they should be polite. They don't even pick up a call. If they pick a call they will put it aside and not answer. They show as if they are busy but they are not.
I saw two front desk people just sitting and chatting. I asked them to check if they have received a fax order from my doctor. WIthout even looking at the fax machine, they said they have not received it. I called my doctor, she said they have sent it and it shows that LabCorp has received it. I again went at the front desk, and rudely they replied we have not received it. I asked them can you refresh it and check... after forcing them thrice, they refreshed it and my lab order was there. They did not even had courtesy to say sorry.
I am not going to step into this pathetic lab ever and don't recommend it to anyone on this planet.
There's no phone number to request your test results. You can send them messages, several if you want, but noneone will get back to you. Would not recommend.
Long story short I am going to pay these people more for a blood work than I am paying for the entire pregnancy bill for my wife. How are these people legally in business?
I went to pennsville NJ for blood and urine test not only did the nurse rip the needle from my arm cause me a nasty bruise the she lost my urine this place is a mess
Had some bloodwork done at Labcorp for an annual physical. It is all covered 100% - and have been doing this for decades. The person doing the paperwork was not the normal person I deal with. There was a small fee due of about $4 and I kept getting an invoice for it. The balance should have been zero. I had called and talked to them, called my insurance company and they felt the code was incorrectly entered, the last digit was off. I had communication going via email and told them this, and months later I got the latest bill. It has now gone to a collection agency. So between Labcorp, my insurance company, myself and now another party, we have hundreds of dollars spent on this to correct a small error.
I have been requested to go to Quest for my tests, as their info goes directly into files at my doctor(s) offices, but I liked one office of Labcorp. Now I think I will got to Quest because of this. Labcorp offices seem to be disappearing, as two in one of the areas I go to, are gone. Perhaps this is one of the reasons... The small charge should not be legit as there should be no charge at all for these routine tests with respect to my insurance. Labcorp never got back to me after I noted that my insurance thought the coding was incorrect. Looks like it will cost Labcorp thousands of dollars for lost business since they did all my labwork and will go elsewhere... (A shame there is only two labs which are across the country that do this work, Labcorp and Quest).
So the Collector Emma charlotten at north Brunswick, nj location. Knocks over my cup, then my second cup had no temperature.
She demand I fill another cup, dot rules state she can switch it to another cup, she refused!
I know I wasn't going to fill a 3rd cup. So She puts down that the temperature and I refused to give her more and I left the facility.
That's a big NO NO with DOT.
Thank god this test was for pre employment. That's the Only exception. But still I'm being investigated for " refusal and leaving the facility
If I left the facility how did I sighn the paperwork and get a copy of the test.
I refused? I refused to give her a 3rd cup lmaoo. What a joke
I received a bill for lab work and paid it immediately, sending a check via mail. It was received and cashed on time, as per my bank account transactions. For two months I received "past due" notices in the mail. I just called today (I had to Google the billing phone number because they do not make it easily accessible to reach anyone and do not put it on the bill, just a fax number). I immediately received a rep and gave him my verification information. He proceeded with, "how can I help you with this ZERO balance today" as if to shoot down anything further from me before I could speak. So I politely stated I am continuing to receive past due notices and my bank shows the check cashed, so I wasn't sure why I was continuing to get past due notices. He said "your... acccount... has a ZERO... BALANCE", pausing after every word and talking to me as if I am ignorant. I asked politely to confirm that since it's a zero balance, I won't be charged any past due fees, correct? And again, he restated the same thing about the account balance being zero, pausing after every word. I thanked him for his time and hung up. Customer service representatives are the face of a company, the quality of the company, and what the company represents. The notion I received from this employee is that he is tired, overworked, feeling unappreciated, and is tired of dealing with people to the point of being disrespectful to customers who are calling. Take better care of your employees and hire professionals with professional etiquette, deliver higher quality customer service.
I just got a 'second notice' on a a lab bill for almost $400 which I had no idea why I was getting this and never received the first notice. I called and Labcorp said rather rudely my doctor had ordered and I owed the bill. I had just finally been able to review with medicare and my 2nd insurance company - nearly impossible right now with COVID and was unhappy as to why my doctor had ordered blood work not covered but was just going to pay it. And today I received a COLLECTION Notice on it. We are just beginning the phase one to come out of stay at home orders and my brother in law died from the virus which gave me concern for my 77 year old husband. Who the hell are these people to handle it this way at this time. It's the holiday weekend but I will call personally when they reopen and tell them how I feel. But I'm so angry about it now that I am posting my first review ever... on anything. Total disgrace from a medical lab in the midst of what we're going through. They should be the ones going out of business.
I got here at 7 check in wait forever, When I did finally got check in still waiting to be seen, I wish I would made appointment the website was note easy friendly, Been here since 7 10/26/2022 still waiting to be seen the ones with the appointments are more important and get seen first!
Wait forever. Offices are way understaffed. They are extremely rude and act like they are doing you a favor. Been sitting 30 minutes. No one has been called back. What are they doing?
My doctor ordered a test for lactose intolerance so I made an appointment. The guy, who was going to draw my blood, told me that I needed to come back on a different day, because the test was going yo take about 3 hours. This was because my blood needed to be drawn every 30 minutes and the facility could not accommodate that kind of test dye to a busy schedule. I rescheduled for 7am on the flowing Saturday. When I returned, two ladies at the front desk told me that they had no information in regards to my previous appointment or my current appointment and therefore I could not be seen. I showed them proof by providing the papers that their facility gave me but still they said they insisted that I could not be seen. Then I asked if I could get a test form that needed to be sent in with a stool sample. They refused to give me one and told me that I should have had a test form already. I pleaded with them and showed them again that I was not a walk in and I had proof on papers that they gave me. Still they turned me away. I had fasted the night before and gotten up very early in the morning. To sum it up, I have never been through anything like this before. They are unprofessional and very unorganized.
Labcorp sucks. Their customer service is atrocious- from making it very hard to speak to a live rep, to a rep who was most unhelpful... terrible service
Been getting the same bloodwork since 2013 every three months they make a mistake with coding sending trill to Medicare they bill me for $66 when speaking to them they say it's a coding error they'll correct it and resubmit it to Medicare Then next thing you know it's on my credit report they sent it collection
When you speak to billing now they don't know what to do they keep saying the research it and get back they never dO
I guess this is the way they treat the elderly on Medicare were not that important anymore

I had some tests done at Labcorp, and despite the fact that I had my credit card with me, they apparently miscalculated or something with my insurance.
So they sent me MENACING notices over... $5.72. This is a billion dollar company, I don't think they're desperate for the cash. (https://ir.labcorp.com/news-releases/news-release-details/labcorp-announces-2021-third-quarter-results)
I think they could afford any of the following better approaches:
- Get their billing correct the first time...?
- Write off the almost $6 that they failed to be upfront about...?
- Just generally, don't be a-holes about the new charge...?
I didn't design our Kafka-esque medical insurance billing nightmare, and I have to imagine Labcorp would be even more unhelpful and asinine if this was a bill that I wasn't able to just pay off with couch change. (Come to think of it, it'd of served them right if I paid them with 572 pennies ROFL.)
Avoid dealing with them if you at all can. If you *can't* avoid dealing with them, then I suggest complaining to your local and state politicians to ask why we should allow these a-holes to keep holding a local monopoly.
Tomorrow, April 3, will be 10 days. April 4 will be 2 weeks since the onset of my symptoms, and my quarantine will be over. This is ridiculous and unacceptable!
Answer: I have same question here, no training, but still get paid. Why? Because people allow them
Answer: Its sent out, they are just a profesional AQUIRE BUSSINESS FOR ALL THAT THEY GIVE SERVICE FOR
LabCorp has a rating of 1.3 stars from 622 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with LabCorp most frequently mention customer service, blood work and front desk. LabCorp ranks 442nd among Medicine sites.
