Lost my order
February 10, 2023

This lab lost my order twice. It had been faxed to labcorp the previous month, but they didn't have it. Dr faxed order again. I called to confirm, but when I arrived at lab, they couldn't find it!

The phlebotomist who drew my blood this morning did not wear his mask correctly. It was not covering his nose. This was during the elderly, vulnerable citizen hour!

This place SUCKS
December 31, 2018

My doctor put order in on Friday - it's Monday now. I went to the Hinsdale, Illinois location on Saturday as that was the only location with Saturday hours. They had no record of my order. Took me a half hour to get there only to find out they don't have my order in their system. I went to the location on Ogden in Naperville this morning, and sat and waited an hour only to find out They have no record of my order and when you call their phone, you get an automated message that says we will be right with you and then it disconnects you. I tried a few times, and so did my doctor's nurse. She tried faxing something there and it wouldn't go through. I am now very late to work and labCorps completely sucks. Went to quest diagnostics, was in and out in five minutes. My doctor's nurse put the order in five minutes before I got there. It went as smooth as butter. LabCorp Is an absolute total waste of my time and I would never go there again. All I had to do was put some Pee in a cup, as my doctor is worried about me spilling protein. This is important and they failed twice. Never again. I recommend not using LabCorp. Quest diagnostics is a wonderful alternative.

False Claims

LHI/Optum uses labcorp to do their COVID testing. Supposed to have results in 48-72 hrs. Here I am 6 days later and still no results. I'll not test again, thanks to them.

My Med Provider tried to fax lab orders for routine bloodwork to a LabCorp location in Elyria, Oh.
When this presented problems, I tried to contact them to see if there was some other way to get the orders to them.

The only way to get a live person, is to lie and declare yourself (via the phone options) to be a Provider.
Twice I spoke to their "Customer Service" Rep, and was promised a callback.
I also left multiple VM's at the Elyria location, and did not receive call backs.

I have been using LabCorp for several years, but I am DONE WITH THEM NOW!

Im ONLY giving them 1 star because is the LOWEST the system allows but they dont even deserve that. I have been trying to contact the lab since 7am this morning it is now 10; 15am. I have appointment for tomorrw. I need to confirm the prescription that the Dr fax over was received. I have spoken to 3 of their "customer service" Rep. UNREAL how RUDE these individuals are. They cut you off in the middle of explaining the reason for your call, they claim to tranfer you without providing you the TN# or extension to where they claim to be transfering. I have been in customer service for 22 years... and if we were ever to treat the customer the way these individuals treated me today they would be FIRED! What makes things worse is those calling are PATIENCES (people that are ill). Is unreal that a Lab has such a LOW standards.

Today I had an appointment at the Doylestown LabCorp at 800 W. State Street. I was taken in promptly. I asked the woman to please us a butterfly needle as sometimes my veins can be a challenge to get into. She complied. After looking at a few sites on my arms and hands, she chose a vein in my arm, which was not successful. At least she treated me respectfully. I was sent to the restroom to give a urine sample. When I came back to the room, no one was present. Finally a heavy-set woman appeared. I also asked her to use a butterfly needle, which she ignored. She immediately had me clench my right fist and jabbed in the large needle and got nothing. She asked if I had drank water, to which I replied "yes." She kept jabbing the needle deeper and deeper and it began to hurt and I said it hurt. She pulled it out and said, "you're done. You're too tense. You can go somewhere else." And she continued in a rude fashion to berate me. I said, "You won't like the Google review I'm going to give you." She kept repeating have a good day. I have never been treated in this fashion. I have typically gone to a Quest facility to have blood drawn one every other year. No one has ever had a problem getting blood from me if they use the butterfly needle. This is completely unacceptable to treat someone like this. I WILL NEVER STEP INTO ANOTHER LABCORP FACILITY!

LabCorp is very quick to put a bad permanent (7 years) mark on your credit report if you can't pay a medical bill. They use a collections company called RADIUS GLOBAL SOLUTION. Watch out!

A long time ago I had the misfortune to worked for Gloria Anderson when you use to be called Roche. She was a rude, sarcastic person that like to humiliate people, especially gay people.
I was a courier and I was always thirty minute early for my shift, I dressed well, I was honest and I took my job seriously. She never liked me for some reason, but when she found out that I was gay, my lord, things got worse.
One time her fellow gay hater in the office named Pat, decided to sabotage my courier work by hiding some test kits and the paperwork they came with that I was supposed to take to an office at Southwest Medical Center in Dallas. That night Gloria Anderson placed the paperwork in my basket with the other paperwork to make it looked like that I had missed it. So, after she got a complaint from the medical office at the Southwest Medical Center in Dallas, she then took me to her office and accused me of being incompetent and stupid. After yelling at me for several minutes she then wrote me up and told me I was on thin ice. Later that day I learned from a friend of mine in the office named Jan, that she had overheard Gloria Anderson and Pat hatch the sabotage plan up in Gloria's office.
With her vulgar remarks about gay people and her sabotaging my good reputation, I decided to quit and get a better paying job that wasn't so stressful. Last I heard she was a branch manager at one of the LabCorp centers in Fort Worth. You have a horrible company LabCorp! And Gloria Anderson, what is wrong with you? People need the results of their medical tests ASAP.

Roper Saint Francis hospital sent me to Labcorp for lab tests. The hospital gave LabCorp incorrect information that I was insured by BCBS. I haven't had BCBS insurance in 4 years & the hospital knew I was a cash-only payee. On my LabCorp bill, it didn't show either me as a insurance patient or cash payee-only customer. I paid 586.00 dollars when as a cash-only patient my bill should have been for $ 250.00. The next paragraph is outright thievery.
I called LabCorp when I found out the mistake of overpayment. I asked to speak with a Supervisor in billing. After explaining the mistake of overpayment her response was they can't REIMBURSE me because they purge records once payment is made which is total bull$#*!. So I asked the supervisor if I underpaid LabCorp I wouldn't have to pay the remaining balance correct? She said no you would have to pay your balance. I almost lost it. You just told me you purge bills once paid so you just lied to me by contradicting yourself. All she could do is apologize for my predicament. I only said your a bunch of lying thieves. I will get my mistake of overpayment back even if I have to take your company to small claims court.
I'm going to call them every day asking for my reimbursement, report them to Better Business Bureau & go to small claims court if it comes down to it.

I rescheduled my day to go 30 minutes away (NOT close by) for an appt I made online, scheduled for 2:15 pm. I checked in at 2:13 while still in my car, as instructed. The text message response told me that I needed to go in (so that piece was a LIE). I'm disabled and often have a hard time walking... It took me 15 mins to find the place -- the address doesn't exist. (I went up and down the block a few times and ended up FAR from my car.) Signs finally helped once inside the hospital. Yes, this place is IN the hospital, but in the back of the building, across the street, and down a floor. The signs only worked for part of that walk -- MOST of it had no signs whatsoever... When I finally got there, the door said "Labcorp." I signed in with my ID, they called me up, and said I had NO APPOINTMENT. I said I do and showed them confirmation. They repeated NO APPOINTMENT. They also said they had NO APPOINTMENTS TODAY, online scheduling or otherwise. Then they told me to leave. My would-be employer said I had 3 days to get this done -- The email didn't show up until Day 3. Not sure what to do next. This experience was below BAD.
