I ordered five items from Light in the Box. Each item was shipped from a different location. I received a flat metal dish rack with silicone ends, and the silicone color was faded, as if it was either very old or had been in excessive heat. I received "chiffon" women's clothing, which was cheaply sewn out of very thin fabric, in addition to which I should have apparently ordered THREE sizes up from my American size (instead of two). I threw these items in the trash, as they were too cheesy to donate.
After I advertised with evidence the negative experience of the local package delivery company, they found another company that works without any problems, and they are very kind. Here is an example that the world can be made beautiful. Thank you
I bought a dress on this site, I needed a royal blue dress for my sister in laws wedding. I chose the custom made option as I am a bigger girl and needed a good fit right out of the box. Overall I paid $140 CAD for my dress, that is the custom made option, the expedited shipping and the duties, yes, there are duties for dresses into canada. I advise reading everything about your purchase prior to ordering. The site has all the info should you look. My dress came right on time, taking 4 weeks and customer service contacted me after I had a measurement wrong-the same day I ordered! Everyone loved my dress, as did I. Yes, I was apprehensive ordering online but the quality I received for the price was mind blowing. I ws so impressed I will be purchasing my own wedding dress from here. The one I want in the shop costs $3000 and they have a replica for $130! If anyone wishes to see, I've posted a pic on "light in the box wedding" on Facebook.
Received all items without damage. Shipping takes longer than I am use to. Took a little over a month to receive the larger part of my order. Received in two different orders. Happy with what I bought. Will order again. Giving only 4 stars because of shipping costs and delivery.
Absolutely horrendous experience. Complete bunch of sharks that will do anything to avoid taking goods back for refund. The goods that I received were incredibly poor quality with no labels and sized about 4-5 sizes too small. They are based in Asia and expect you to send their absolute rubbish garments back to them at your expense (which they know that you probably won't bother with) so then proceed to make your ridiculous offers like.keep the rubbish that they sent to you and they will give you half of your money back. PLEASE do not do business with them as you will almost certainly regret it and doing business with them keeps these sharks in business.
I ordered few items with expedited shipping, it's been five days and the order is still in process. I need those item for an event seven days from today. How do I contact light in the box as there is no contact information on their website, not even live chat.
Never ever order from them anything please. You will be surprise when you get ordered items which absolutely ugly and different then u ordered. After many many emails (NO ways to talk with somebody life) they sent me standard email and offered 50% refund... Please do not trust them. PLEASE!

Super cheap fabric and poor quality used on items I received.
You get what you pay for - buy less, buy quality - somewhere else, not available here.
Not truly returnable from USA.
Returns cost $20-30 and take so long the return window closes!

The dress I received did not look like the dress in the picture. Colors were different. I usually wear a small or medium in most clothing so I ordered a small according to their chart. It was huge. There are no size tags in it. They make the return process difficult and they know it because they offer a 30% discount on another item or a 20% refund to avoid the return process. Never again!

On 12/14 I purchase a linen suit & shirt for my husband dor $164.93. One sleeve was longer than the other. After emailing light in a box I was told I would be responsible for the return ( postal service fee$63.00 to ship to china) & once the item is received I will be refunded $121.98 although I paid $164. Please be careful with these site it's not what it appears to be.

Answer: Hello, I bought a few things and the quality was not very good and the sizing was totally wrong. I also bought a cellular charger and the battery inside was not soldered correctly. Lightinthebox has great price, but you pay for what you get, which isn't much. I have stopped buying from them.

Answer: Suggest not to buy. Might end up not receiving the order or received the wrong size and would be returning and paying shipping or requesting a refund or not receiving a refund at all. There's more legit company like Amazon where I bought the same one I ordered from Lightinabox, which I did not received. Sorry, but I would not trust this Co for anything. Answer: Count yourself lucky and DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! You will be disappointed in the clothing and size from this company. All of the clothing I received was horrible quality and did not look at all like the photo they had online. They were just plain awful and the sizing was a joke. I received an XL shirt that would not fit a small person and a Med shirt (was supposed to be the same shirt as the XL) and the medium was literally larger than a 4x One was a terrible quality plain sweatshirt with a sticker posted on it and the other was a draping long gown like garment. I was appalled.would recommend finding a different company.
