Don't Use this Business!
August 15, 2022

I ordered 4 dresses and paid for the fastest shipping, which was not fast at all. I then had to pay an additional fee for customs. When I finally received the dresses, 4 weeks later, the quality of the material was a very cheap polyester and the sizes did not fit. The sizing is very confusing. I am normally a 'medium' but based on the information on the site, ordered an XXL and they were too big.
I am very disappointed by this service overall and will not use them again.

Cheap, broken items, returns difficult

I purchased 2 items and both were super cheap quality for a price I didn't expect it to be. One of the items arrived damaged. I'm trying to return it and over email customer services keeps making me offers to keep it in exchange for coupons. I just want my money back.

Order never received
December 24, 2020

Do not order from this company unless you can wait 30 days for your order. First order took 29 days. I stupidly ordered a second time before first order arrived. Placed order 11/27. Still do not have it. USPS has yet to receive order. Company claims to have shipped 12/8 but will not verify order actually shipped nor will they make any effort to track order. Customer service responses are fairly quick but are often "form " responses that do not address the problem. Also, there is a language problem with some responses. In short, they answer but do nothing but provide inappropriate excuses. Save yourself some grief—just don't order from this company. No matter how cheap or attractive the product is it is not worth it. I have no photos of product because it was never received & my order has been deleted so I cannot verify order. Stay away from this company

Product does not match the picture in their ads.

Their product came with cheaply made material and looks ugly. It is not even close to what they show on the website picture. When I asked for return, the customer service asked me to provide pictures with tap measurement on to show 8 different cloth dimensions as picture shown.

Overall a good experience.

Delivery takes a bit, understandable though. Marked down prices excellent, kinda makes up for the shipping cost. Some products are of lesser quality. If I was a women, I'd have a hay day on this site.

Disappointed and a Waste of money
March 19, 2024

The outfit was not advertised correctly. I ordered from size guide, regular US sizes. They did not fit and I could not get a return full price because they said it was a special order ( US 10) and too costly to return. So they told me (that supposedly they would make an exception and refund $ 30 some dollars from some $166.00 paid.
I would not recommend them, because of their unclear return policy. It does not benefit the buyer. And sizing is not accurately stated.

Horrible experience

I bought a dress for my sons wedding here, cost over $200. Beautiful dress but it doesn't fit. Would love to exchange it but don't have time, so I tried to return it. This is day two, yesterday they suggested I keep it and get it altered and they would give me a $2 credit. I don't know about you but I don't think a seamstress will alter a dress for 2 bucks even if there was enough seam allowance to do so. Day two they can't take it back for a refund saying I ordered a custom gown which I did not! I ordered a regular size off the rack. Such a horrible way to start a relationship, no wait maybe they're content with one stop shoppers and don't want relationships and loyal customers at all. First and last time ordering from Light in the Box, this is no way to treat customers. Even if they take the dress back at this point I'm done. You get one chance to make a great first impression.

CHEAP
February 21, 2022

Cheap material cheaply made.
Had to file a complaint for late delivery to PayPal. Still took so long that PayPal closed the dispute.
Once the sweater was received it was ridiculously cheap
Collar almost didn't exist. Material so light was afraid to wear anywhere in case it ripped
Color was way off of picture
This one is going to the local mission

And the worst part is... there is no number for customer service. You have to download the app
This company is garbage
Do not order from them!
Products do have flaws. I understand that...but if you can't talk to a representative then what kind of company is it!

I ordered several tops and found they didn't fit. So I tried to return them but was advised by Lightinthebox that they had to be returned to China and that this would be very expensive. Better, they said, to accept a 20% discount on your next purchase ( not likely) or they could graciously give me a cash payment of 10% of the value of the order. Should I still wish a refund, I was advised that they would not refund the original shipping cost. I then asked them to tell me the actual net amount of the refund I was seeking.
I have received no further replies from them. I resent my request for dollar clarity and again have no response. I do not recommend buying anything from this company as their after-sale customer service is totally unacceptable.

This company is a scam. The clothes are of horrible quality. Although I ordered according to my measurements, the products were completely off in sizing.

When I contacted customer service via email, they blame me and stated that I ordered the wrong size. Therefore, they refused to provide a return address. And said that I should not try to return on my own because it would cost me too much. That is not their call to make. I lost $240 with my order…On dresses that I ordered to attend a wedding. On dresses I absolutely can't wear.

After reading reviews and return policy, i thought id take my chances on ordering a couple dresses thinking the worse case would be, i had to pay for the shipping to return them. Well once i received them and tried them on, i found that they were very cheaply made, did not fit correctly in the armpit area and i was just overall very disappointed. I requested to return them. This is when i was informed they were "made to order" and not returnable. BEWARE! This is a scam for your money! My barbie doll dresses were made with better quality than these were. I couldnt be any more dissatisfied and wish i would have seen a review like this prior to my purchase! I hope this company gets everything they deserve... SCAMMERS! The products they sell are very good and I have had no issues with anything I've bought though them. I find when Light in the Box has a sale it's a good time to buy some new t-shirts. I've lost a-lot of weight and now I need new clothing to fit me again. You can't beat the price on some of the t-shirts they sell when they have a sale on.

Horrible

Took 3 months to get a men's XL shirt and when it finally arrived it will not even fit a 10 year old child. I sent 8 emails to customer service about order with only one response. Customer service does not exist

I have yet to get any response on my request for a return of an outfit that looks nothing like the picture. The outfit looks horrendous. It is not "custom made". Way too much material for the jacket. Order at your own risk! Highly recommend ordering from another business

Beware of this site

I ordered some merchandise back on 12/13/2022 and received my payment confirmation receipt and I have not received my order yet. There is no one to call and it says to download their app to track your package. Even when I do that it's all blank when I click the track package link. No history of my order is shown or anything but I have my receipt of $144 where I paid for it. Please do not shop online at this site.
