One of the things I like best about ordering and buying from Light in the Box is there are no surprises. I have ordered 12 clothing items. It's been 6 days now and I got an email saying they have cancelled two tops as they are not in stock. The order has got delayed. They don't bother contacting you before hand and ask you if you would like some other color in those items. The price for both of them is dropped now. I asked them if they could honor the new reduced price and send me same items in different colors. They refused! The pre sales person named Alison is RUDE. I would strongly suggest you everyone PLEASE AVOID THIS WEBSITE. Its not worth your money, time. It's frustrating process.
I enjoy all the items I bought from Light In The Box. I just want to make a suggestion, if possible to please check the items thoroughly before shipping them. Although it is very rare it happens, unfortunately I received an item which has loose stiches that will cause the hole to widen if not stich right away, instead of returning them I just have to stitch it myself. I hope you understand, I am sharing this in a positive way, at your end you will receive customer satisfaction. Thank you and regards.
I want to return an item but it's impossible as no return label and noone is responding to my emails. My son had tried to help and says he can't do it either. Never had problems return ing items before anywhere else. I will be put off ordering form LightInthebix again unless someone helps me

Ordered a wool longcoat, size XL. They sent me a coat far too small with no size tags, measuring the shoulders and waist showed it to be an M. They then tried to bribe me with a refund and keep the coat "If you change your review to 5 stars or take it down." Took the review down, got my money, now posting an honest review of the sleazy shoddy business. That's their scam, straight up buy reviews to hide how bad they are plain and simple.
Well, a bit slow and not the quality for these items chat I expected. The material, the seller changed the description from cotton in polyester, sorry I have better experience with Ali. Further on, the things were damaged, not big but still, it was the material. For that price I better go shopping lo locally in the Netherlands, only the model was very nice
Where is my 50% off refund? I am really running out of patience with you. I am ready to file charges with the police and report this as a theft of my money. I will start reviewing your horrific attitude towards your customers. Enough is enough. Keep stalling and I will be requesting my money back for all three of my orders totalling over $500. You are thieves, and possibly the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I want the money back TODAY. Purchased a dress the end of November. Doesn't even look like the same dress. Followed there size chart, it doesn't fit at least one size to tight. Took three weeks to get here so even if i ruturned it (not that there are any instructions to return it) i have no dress for the holidays. Ordered nail art before i ordered the dress and they still haven't arrived. Won't be ordering from them again. The fact is, sometimes you get what you pay for. Thanks for letting me vent. Bought a pair of flyknit lunar 3 from Nike store approx 10 months ago needed new pair and noticed 1/3 of price which should of raised red flag but I decided to purchase same style from light in the box. Received Nike shoes and guess what not the same as pair I bought from Nike store. They also dos not come with shoes box. If it sounds good to be true it's most likely going to be crappy. Hope I get full refund don't want credit let's see if refund and return is easy. Disappointed

Do not EVER buy from this site! It has been over a month since i have ordered and i STILL have not received my package! I am a patient person but this is just getting ridiculous! Now I'm pissed and will never buy from this site again. And since it's coming from china i cannot track my package. So now I'm left thinking where it is! Did it get stolen out of my mailbox or is it their fault? And everyday my day revolves around checking the mail waiting for my package and every day it never comes.
It is the first time that i ordered through this site and i am very satisfied. Their service is professional, they have a really big variety of products for you to buy, for the house-the garden, for you, gadgets and many many more. Prices are really reasonable and the shipping is exactly on time. I will recommend light in the box for sure.(i already made my second order and i am sure it will rock again!)
I waited far too long to get a thermometer that was broken. Then, I waited for and never received a refund.

First and foremost finding out this company is in China. Second paying the expedited shipping charge only expedites more money out of your wallet. Does not expedite receipt of your order. Which stands to reason since order originates in China, and ships from there. Still waiting on my what is my first and will be my last order. Although it appears you're getting a good deal and there's a wide variety. Do yourself a big favor and resist the temptation to purchase anything from this site. And if you go to Amazon, be careful they are lurking there to take your money.

I cannot stress enough, please be careful when purchasing anything from Light In The Box.
I have been battling with this company for months now on a refund and also customs and tax charges for a bike I purchased which was faulty, Twice.
They have lied to avoid refunding me for the item. They have even gone as far as refusing to accept the faulty goods at the warehouse after I paid to have the item returned. I also paid extra to cover the cost of customs and duty charges, which they are also not refunding me. Which has amounted to over £400
I know there are a lot of varied comments on Light In The Box, but please make sure you're happy to either loose your money or go into a lengthy battle with them if the item is faulty. This is the WORST online site I have ever experienced.

They show you beautiful clothing and send you rubbish. I ordered two shirts. Both look and feel completely different than pictured. The fabric is nothing like they show on the website. One is like a trash bag and the other a very thin scrub top. So very ugly.

I ordered a men's blazer. First, I usually wear an XL. I suspected the sizes ran small and bought a 3x and it's too small. That's not the worst part.
1. The jacket has a small hole in the back.
2. The material is the most flimsy, cheap material I've ever seen,
3. The buttonholes aren't even finished. It looks like someone cut them out with a scissor. The edges are raw and frayed.
4. The interior lining sticks out of the sleeve cuff...
The bottom line is that the jacket is a piece of junk. Order from them at your own risk!

I ordered the Mother's Shrug Chiffon Long Sleeved Wrap, which is a chiffon long sleeved waterfall-front jacket. It is nice and light, and perfect for warm weather, to cover my arms, but I can still remain cool. They come in lots of colors, so I have ordered about 9 of them, to date! They run true to size and are perfect for any outfit!
The sizing was the largest size, but it was on the tight side, so too small. In my experience, returns are not possible. I have been approached for a voucher. So far only responded to keep the purchase and accept a voucher. I want to return and get my money back. Which is quite normal for online shopping. If you want to deal in the Eu market that's the only way. Buy with the option of return and you will get your money back neatly. No big deal…!

Answer: Count yourself lucky and DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! You will be disappointed in the clothing and size from this company. All of the clothing I received was horrible quality and did not look at all like the photo they had online. They were just plain awful and the sizing was a joke. I received an XL shirt that would not fit a small person and a Med shirt (was supposed to be the same shirt as the XL) and the medium was literally larger than a 4x One was a terrible quality plain sweatshirt with a sticker posted on it and the other was a draping long gown like garment. I was appalled.would recommend finding a different company.
