Living Spaces is one of the worst companies I have ever tried to buy anything from. I ordered a six-piece sofa from them a few months back. After two months of wait and nearly half a dozen confirmations of the delivery date and time, I cleared up my calendar and emptied out my living room for the delivery of the new sofa. They call a couple of hours before the delivery window that they don't actually have one of the chairs of the sofa in stock, and don't know an exact date when it will be - likely in a few weeks. Oh well. We are disappointed and highly inconvenienced, but decide we will wait a few weeks for the whole set to become available again.
And then it gets worse from there. A delivery crew arrives on the originally scheduled day with one of the six sofa pieces. Needless to say, that one piece is not usable on its own. We tell them we want all six pieces together. They say no problem and take back that one piece.
A few days later, I get an email confirming that everything is now in stock. I call to schedule delivery. A rep named 'Ivan' schedules all six pieces to be delivered a few days later. I double-check with Ivan - item by item - that all six are all in stock and will be delivered. Yippee. Ivan just hangs up mid-way through our conversation, but all else seems good. Given their track record, I call them again to just verify the info with another rep. This other rep now tells me they have actually canceled my order for one of the pieces (the one they brought on the original delivery day), since it was 'returned'. Worse, they have deducted 10% of what I paid. Then the rep proceeds to hang up on me as I am asking questions to help me digest this info. All this while, no sincere apologies, no offers to make things right, and forget about anything to offset the massive inconvenience and waste of my time this has caused us so far.
I usually ignore one-off bad experiences with a company, as everyone messes up once in a while. But given that there were so many touchpoints with Living Spaces with rude reps, unhelpful/incorrect info, callousness, delays, and outright errors across the board, I think this company is a massive mess. Poor customer service is institutionalized here. Reps tell you lies, incorrect info and hang up on you - consistently.
I wish I had taken the other reviews seriously before ordering.

Horrible Service!

I ordered a sofa from them back in September when the item was Out of Stock. I was promised a delivery date for 11/16 (almost two months out). The week of the delivery date, I received an email saying the delivery date was delayed and the team will contact me when they receive the shipment to reschedule. I was so upset because I waited so long for the sofa. I did not get an estimated date so I contacted the website. The took almost a week to respond to my initial email although I wrote everything (what i wanted on the initial email) the person who responded wrote "Thanks for reaching out to the team, what can we do to help." Like what's the purpose of me writing a lengthen email explaining my situation for? Anyways, I responded with patience and just rewrote everything that I want an expected delivery/ estimated time. I needed the sofa before the holidays and will want a refund if it won't be here on time. The person responded another week later telling me that my item will be deliver beginning of November. I told the person that it is now mid Nov, I don't think I will be receiving the item at the beginning of Nov. Took them a couple days to respond, now by a different person telling me I will receive it end of Nov. I now stopped responding and was just going to wait patiently for the sofa at the end of Nov. I received a random email on the existing thread that they wanted to follow up if I still needed any assistance. There is about a week left of Nov, so I responded that is there an delivery date set up yet since I will be receiving the item in a week. The person responded to me saying Living Spaces estimated that they will receive the shipment in Mid Dec and I will be contacted then for a delivery date. That was it for me. I felt like a clown waiting and waiting and waiting for this team who clearly does not give a single $#*! or care about what they're doing or saying to their customers. So i asked for a refund and this was when they started responding faster. They offered to assist me to look around for another Sofa, but I refused. They sent me a confirmation email that they had issued a refund. I hope I get the refund soon. Sorry for the long review guys. In conclusion, do not waste your time on this place and please trust the reviews. I tried to ignored because i really liked this sofa.

NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY

I am unable to put zero stars, so i will rate one star. I ordered a sofa from living spaces ( I have purchased several things from them while living in arizona) and while they had no problem taking my $950.00, they knowingly put my sofa on their delivery truck, a company called XPO (with a bbb rating of D- and over 1300 active complaints). After countless numbers of phone call to both living spaces and xpo, countless lies told to me by both companies, countless hours of stress, wasted energy, absolutely nothing has been done by either company. To make matters worse, i was just told that xpo lost my sofa. WTH! What kind of delivery truck loses merchandise? Living spaces also told me that they are fully aware of the problems w this company, yet they continue to use them, despite constant issues for their customer who pay a lot of money for their furniture. When I told living spaces that this happened, they basically said, "oh well" and essentially, tough luck. I have never experienced such horrific customer service. Once living spaces takes your money, they could care less about what happens. Do not waste your money. The aggravation and the headaches will not be worth it. There is far nicer furniture and definitely far better customer service available at many furniture stores. And DEFINITELY NEVER ORDER ANYTHING THAT YOU CANT TAKE HOME WITH YOU.
UPDATE: TODAY I RECEIVED A CALL FROM LIVING SPACES STATING THAT THEY WERE NOTIFIED THAT XPO FOUND MY SOFA AND I COULD SCHEDULE MY DELIVERY... TURNS OUT, LIVING SPACES WAS TOTALLY LYING. I HAD XPO ON A CONFERENCE CALL WITH THEM WHO STATED THAT THEY NEVER NOTIFIED LIVING SPACES OF THIS. THIS COMPANY JUST KEEPS GOING FURTHER AND FURTHER INTO THE GUTTER.

I wish I could give this company a negative rating. My experience was so bad that I had to dispute it with my credit card company. I ordered a daybed back in February and it is now nearly May and I still haven't received it. I had to pay $250 for delivery alone, which is crazy in today's retail world, and after waiting nearly a month for its arrival, it was delivered to the wrong address by their shipping partner XPO. I contacted XPO and Living Spaces and was told it would be retrieved and redelivered, and that I would receive a callback within 24-72 hours to schedule redelivery. I never received the callback and each time I reached out to Living Spaces, they told me to contact XPO, visa versa. This went on for over a week and I was eventually told by some clueless person that the package was still at the incorrect address. I drove 40 minutes to the incorrect address (same street name and number, different town) and found a note from XPO saying it was picked up. I contacted Living Spaces again who told me to reach back out to XPO. At this point, I had spent $900 and hours of my time with no resolution, so I handed it off to my husband in hopes that he could get to some sort of resolution (he works in furniture logistics). He got slightly further than me only to discover that we couldn't even get a replacement delivered because it is now out of stock. I am STILL waiting on a refund from Living Spaces, so I ended up disputing it with my credit card. I am writing this while I am on hold with XPO, YET AGAIN, because they won't stop calling me. I guess when Living Spaces eventually cancelled my order it requested that XPO pick up my package (that I never received?!) for a return. Hands down, worst retail and shipping experience I have ever experienced. To layer onto the frustration they still have my money... mind blowing. Take your money anywhere but here!

Fui a la tienda de la mirada a comprar una cama para mi hijo se pago de inmediato y prometieron entregarla a los 14 dias y pasaron 3 meses y nunca recibimos la cama siempre con promesas que no cumplian y nunca se tomaron la molestia de llarmar para hacernos saber sobre el tiempo de entrega., Me tocaba estar llamando pero siempre con excusas... Muy desilucionada y con muy mala atencion y siendo clienta de mucho tiempo de living spaces es la primera vez que esto me sucede pero ojala jamas vuelva a comprarles nada... para nada los recomiendo.
