Not a good site for someone looking for a match its just waste of time and money, its not always what you expect is what you get
If you're interested in a hookup then this is the site for you. Every man on this site is looking for a hookup and nothing more.
Nothing here, the "matches" sent to you were not even close to what you were asking for and what the other person was looking for
The selection of matches is terrible, and match does a poor job of finding desirable matches. The customer service is also very poor
I want my money back because you all I want that that I put somebody's profile you I want more money I want my money back or I'll call the FCC in the federal government
$50 a month? No way in hell. So many fake profiles that link to other sites. Don't waste your time or money
Scammers, poor customer service, do not give matches that meet the criteria in your profile. Cannot find anything good to say about this dating site.
Loved Match until they outsourced customer service to India! It's the biggest mistake too many US companies are making.
Where are my matches? I have set mileage up to expand search. I'm receiving zero. Good bye Match.never again.
Joan s/ if 45 & black male isnt to old for u give me a holla. *******@gmail. Com its all on u no
This group is match, zoosk, et all it is
Run byhigh schoolers that don't want college degreed white women on their site
You will be herasted. All info is sold and never deleted. And the site is a complete scam.
Would give a zero if I could
Had not logged into my account in about a week, when I went to log in it would not let me. I sent an e-mail to reset my password and never received an email. I then e-mailed match.com my problem. They did not respond for three days. When they finally did they told me I had changed the e-mail address for my account to *******@mail.com this is not an email of mine. At this point I e-mailed them back saying that my account had been hacked. They assured me it had not and that they would change the account back to my gmail address. I was able to log-in and set my password. When I logged in my entire account was changed the only thing that was their was my photos (minus the ones with my son) bio had been changed and messages where sent to a ton a people via my account. As i was e-mailing people stating this was not really not me the account logged me out AGAIN! I tried to log back in and could not. At this point I called Match and they reassured me know one had got into my account for a second time and that I needed to reset my password again. I explained I did this and obviously it did not work because that person was able to log back into my account again. I did as they said anyway and when I logged in the person who was posing as me had erased all e-mails that where sent. When I told this to Match they told me that I was wrong and that could not have happen. (well I am not crazy and I know what I saw). I told them I wanted the account completely disabled that I felt my identity had been completely violated and they have done absolutely nothing for me! That my payment info was in my account and they could have stole that info also. They again just kept saying just change your password. When I told them I wanted a refund they refused. So, I had them disable an account that is paid for because I was worried about being hacked for a third time! The costumer service was the worst I have ever dealt with and I spoke with three different people (supposedly upper management). I would never pay money to this company again. So be aware of your identity being stolen because clearly there security measures are not high!
I just want to make this clear, YES match.com are 100 % going to go to all lengths to get you to sign up and screw you with all types of lies to keep charging your card worse then probably any company you have ever delt with in ur life. I'm 29 years old and match.com is so bad this is my first time ever writing reviews online. I also need to make this clear if you are not subscribed and are receiving tons of interest its NOT REAL. I would even go as far as saying 95 % is fake. Here are my stats after being a member for an entire year... I was "viewed" 3645 times ( by who or what i don't know) but after an entire year i only had conversations with roughly 10-12 girls, i actually got a date with 3 of them ( sadly all 3 of these girls were fresh out of relationships and were def on the re bound) i messaged probably at least 100 women and 5 actually responded. At one point i did start to feel insecure like whats going on? Ive never really had that hard of a time with women and I'm fully aware rejection is just a part of the process but once it hit really high numbers aka ( less then 1 % ever responded) i knew something was up. Its all fake, a ton of those profiles are inactive and they say the people had been recently online, honestly i don't even think someone was actually really " reading " my messages either. Not to mention i had a ok cupid account and pof while on match, i got ignored 10 times more on match then pof and ok cupid combined. Oh and this was just another interesting experience i also had while on match, there was a girl i was talking to on match and it didn't really go anywhere, one day I'm on pof and i see the same girl so i figured what the hell we could have a laugh cuz we were both on pof. Turns out i message this girl on pof and she has no clue who i am and swears she never has had a match profile. So if this was a catfish scenario who knows but this is just a perfect example of what to expect on match.com or any dating app for that matter. If you also had bad luck on match don't beat yourself up, it wasn't you it was match.com ( you know the ones you gave money to)
READ THIS AND RESPOND IF YOU HAVE THIS SAME ISSUE PLEASE! I am ticked! Usually when you join a dating site, the first couple days you get bombarded with messages and then the messages slowly start to dwindle. I have used Match a couple of years ago and it was non-stop messages. Nothing ever really worked out but at least people were contacting me. I joined last night again because I had decent luck last time ( I used profile I hid from last use but changed it up) Unfortunately, I did the 6 month bundle (had a coupon). I was getting ready to receive all kind of hits and NOTHING. I got an email saying my profile was visible and NOTHING. This morning I thought for sure, I would have messages but I only received two and 3 likes. I made sure my profile was not hidden and I that I didn't have any weird filters on. I would understand it if my pictures showed me looking like a toothless hick living in a back of a van but I think I look pretty decent in my pictures (adding one below). On Plenty Of Fish, I am bombarded with messages, so why not on here? A site that I PAY for! Makes you wonder! So, I decided to buy a boost( I know I know but it was a test)... after the hour was up. It said I had almost 200 guys look at my profile. Yet, when you look at the "who viewed me" there as no one new that looked. Interesting huh? However, I did get 4 likes out of that and 2 messages but they were all much older and looked like they could be my dad. Not exactly what I was looking for. I have messaged a few guys and NONE have responded. I think this is all a joke. I am getting super irritated. Why am I getting great results on other sites FOR FREE, yet a site I pay for I am getting NOTHING? Something just isn't right!
Tried a lot of dating sites. This one wasn't bad but it wasn't great. Features and profiles just weren't my cup of tea.
Why is my profile still up I am no longer a member for years and yet I am getting emails frominterested men,, what a con your company is
It's expensive! At the end of the day. And for the gay community, it's really not all that great. Slim pickins, leave it to the straight people ;)
Answer: I was unable to get a refund but I dispute the transaction and got my money back that way. I said it was because they were not providing the service they claim to offer. If you can dispute with your bank just tell them you didn't authorize the transaction and the company refuses to refund you. Good luck.
Answer: No I would not trust it. There are scammers on there. They will tell you want you want to here. They are from another country. Look for key words such as widoer, contractor, travel, one child only. They will compliment you right off the bat about your smile. Not safe. Try another site.
Answer: Back in the 1980s, strip clubs were pulling all sorts of over charge and fake charge scams and forcing people tp pay. Here in Atlanta a majpr federal case against the GOLD CLUB brought all that to light and alot of changes were made in the industry... I BRING THAT UP BECAUSE... these social sites seem to be attempting the same types of scams and are getting away with it. By U.S. fedeal standars ALL THESE SITES FALL UNDER THE RACKETEERING STATUTE. Unfortunately there is NO enforcement of these laws at this time. Your best option is to dispute the entire charge with your credit card. They may not want to do this because they are seeing so much of it. BE FIRM AND INSIST IT IS A MATTER OF CREDIT FRAUD. Also be sure to indicate that you are filling a consumer notice with the Federal Trade Commision (they have online forms for this to keep a numbers count on how many people are affected by these sorts of things. www.FTC.org). If you have been a good card holder, you shouldnt have any issues except for 1: ALL THESE SITES ARE NOTORIOUS FOR REBILLING/DRAFTING YOUR CREDIT ACCOUNT. You may want to file a COMPROMISED CREDIT CARD CLAIM AT THE TIME OF THE DISPUTE and have your card issuer SEND YOU A REPLACEMENT CARD WITH A NEW CARD NUMBER.
Answer: You will have a hard time getting your money back Terri. The first time I was with them years ago, I forgot the auto renewal and tried to get my money back and they fought me tooth and nail. This time I tried both Ourtime and Match and both experiences were not good though Ourtime was a bit better. I agree with some of the answers here that Match baits you toward the end of your subscription with possible contacts, but since I cannot proof that I have to add that disclaimer. Everything you have run into with your experience I have had with mine.
Answer: You likely signed up for auto-renewal, which Match.com doesn't explicitly tell you out-right that it will auto-renew. You will not likely get a refund back for the month they charged you. However, go to your account's settings and cancel the feature ASAP. You will still have access for the month in question, but at least you will have stopped future withdrawals.
Answer: Give them a call... they always have something to scam people about...
Answer: Cancel the card you used when you joined.
Answer: That is an extra fare item and they charge you each time. Best to do your own searches and replies...
Answer: Too much don't do it!
Answer: I feel the same way Teresa, i have been on the site for 1 year now and cancelled my subscription, but was told it won't officially cancel until May because i waited to late after my initial sign up day, so i got stuck with another year. I am a handsome guy with a lot to offer, but for some reason never really got emails as i expected, i started to think the people profiles were fake or the women i was interested in didn't know a good man if his profiled slapped them in the face, just sayN. 41, recently divorced for little over a year, highly educated, working in my profession, make close to six figures, single, don't cheat, great personality, smart, don't play, and real down to earth... but i guess no one believed it or didn't like my handsome picks... IDK. Confused!
