Since retiring my income has dropped at lot. This is a great way to earn points and get free gift cards. I use mine on Amazon. Why 4 Stars? Sometimes you have problems getting surveys or videos to complete. But over all nice site. It just takes a little time to figure it all out.
Complete offers. Send then 6 pictures proof. They don't care, ask to speak with supervisor not even an attempt to fix it This is how you lose customers and eventually won't exist anymore
I do my points everyday. It is an easy way to get points for gift cards. Videos and my craves are frustrating as they quit on you. Do like finding out about new items and like the coupons. Some surveys quit on you, but most at least give you 5 pts for trying.
I think it's a great site and I am on it daily to get points for gift cards. Most of the time everything is okay but there were a few times when I would spend 30 mins. Or more on a survey then when I get finished it doesn't give me my points.
This used to be a good site. Recently had an issue and the way us was or in my case, wasn't handled, led me to delete my account. The fact they no longer award your gift card immediately should have been a warning. Takes forever to get the daily goal. This list is never-ending.
If you are like me and disabled or retired and have too much time on your hands, it's a decent way to earn points to get gift cards. But I will agree, I would like the physical gift cards brought back.
This site often misses awarding promotional points. It takes an average of 10 interactions to get a non-automated response. When you go through the drop-down Contact Us page, even when you provide the screeenshot they require, you will receive an automated response that repeats all the instructions you've already followed; in addition, it will require you to contact them again. When you respond, you will get another automated response repeating the same information. I have pursued large point awards at various times, all required multiple contacts over multiple weeks. MyPoints does not acknowledge its own errors; they cancelled my account when a vendor awarded me twice. It took multiple contacts to clear that up. Customer Service is either lazy, indifferent, or not trained. They do not respond, they outlast your willingness to pursue.
Mypoints really sucks now. Bought Coffeemate 10/31 3 point requests none. Sierra club no points. HR Block free no points. Tax Act. Paid no points. All registered as cookies. Surveys stopped after 15 years now 5 point emails aren't every day. As of this month going to coupons.com isn't one of the do 5. I would have to view long videos to meet monthly goals. I quit them at one time and rejoined. Just tired of the BS from them.
I've been using My Points for over ten years now and have been able to use my Rewards as gift cards many times. Now that I'm retired they're such a nice bonus for me to use as I'm on a tight budget. If I'm going to make a purchase why not earn points! Everyone should take advantage of this plan!
I was a member for almost 3 years and participated in a variety of activities on a daily basis. I even gave a 5 star review last year. Then, suddenly, I was precluded from taking surveys, accused of inconsistent responses. I questioned this and exchanged several emails, asking for an example of my inconsistencies. I always provided truthful survey responses but they simply decided that I did not meet their standards. I earned enough points doing other things to redeem an Amazon gift card and then I canceled my membership. The only way to earn a reasonable amount of points is through surveys. I don't know what their criteria was, but I know I gave truthful and consistent responses.
They make it so easy to redeem and I enjoy visiting every day! I like doing the surveys, taking the polls, I have trouble with the viewing of the videos sometimes, but I'm sure that is more of my browser acting up. I also love the coupons!
My time taking surveys for My Points has been very rewarding. Living on a fixed income doesn't leave a lot of cash for birthday's or Christmas. My Points has been beneficial in helping me celebrate many special occasions with the gift cards I redeem. Thank you My Points!
The site itself is not a place where you will make steady money. However, it is a good side gig to get some gift cards that you can use to help lessen the grocery bill for the week or help towards lessening the cost of holiday gifts.
A great group but very frustrating at times. The surveys are super frustrating and it is so hard to get help when you need it. Also can not use the Visa cards anymore at Disney. The main reason I started this was to help my Disney addiction
I keep this close to me its the only place to be for shopping and all extra money you can use for small essential items cloths food i love this app and i refer alot of people and ive made over 300 dollars maybe even more if i put all my purchases together im almost certain its more i did my whole christmas with gift this year and some birthday gifts for my children like gold earrings and tents that light up its unbelievable please trust and believe if you have spare time make a dime time is money and if you have things to do then do it dont put this web site down u just mad you have no survey mojo i have proof of how much ive made
It used to be a site that offered far easier ways to earn points faster, but they've done away with a lot of those opportunities over the years and it costs far more than it ever has just to earn the points needed to get even an bottom-basement $5 gift card to someplace. It's ridiculous!
I enjoy having it as a bonus to my income. Easy navigation and comprable pay to what your doing. Sometimes you have to watch the deals, the points might not be added, but that's the only issue I've had.
I truly like this site. I have been a member for probably about 6 or 7 years and find it to be among the top rewards sites. Issues are normally solved through tickets in a quick amount of time and the depth of the amount of reward choices is superb. Points for most things done through this site are awarded instantly. I plan on remaining a member for quite a long time to come.
This company is amazing. They just get better with time. They are very quick and efficient in respect to customer service. When you redeem points with Paypal - it gets credited to your account the next day. Who does that? They also lowered the number of points needed to redeem for Paypal - like I said - they are getting better and better as time goes on.
At one time I would highly have recommended MyPoints. But lately they haven't been honoring the promises they make in their offers. I'll buy a particular product I'm excited to try after they offer me a set number of points, only to have them later renege without so much as a shrug. My advice is avoid their deals and shopping offers altogether. Stick to their surveys. You won't earn as many points, but they nearly always honor the points offered, you can feel good about giving honest feedback to market research companies and you won't have to constantly go behind them to remind them of the deals they should honor.
I regard MyPoints as a simple hobby that pays dividends! I really enjoy the surveys and other ways to earn points. I mainly get my news from MSNBC and Smart News so I enjoy the spin on current events in the videos available. All in all, they are pretty balanced and because of that, the ideas presented are more believable. While some survey get a lot of information including name and e-mail address, it seems very unfair that you can go thrugh a whole survey and then receive no points. The sponsors of these surveys got a benefit. The participant does not.
Mostly I am satisfied with my points. I earn about $5/week and use it all at Walmart. I like the type of surveys that they offer. Sometimes a large number of points have disappeared from my account without explanation except to say it is related to Choice Hotels. I make and cancel or change my Choice Hotels reservations a few times before I take the trip. My loss of points is probably somehow related to this, but My Points doesn't give me any details. I have no way to track what they are doing with my hotels. Since I stay in a lot of hotels in a year, this impacts my earnings a great deal. I think they need a better accounting of how points are earned, when they are earned, and why they are subtracted. Still I use them for online purchases at other partner websites with pretty good success. I mostly earn points from surveys.
I have been a long time member and in the past 6 months I have sent in several requests for missing points but they never acknowledge my requests nor give me my earned points. Currently they owe me over 10,000 points. They cannot even bother to answer any of my emails. Don't waste your time on them.
Well I just got kicked out with a reward pending because I'm 13. I'm 66. BBB time and I hope they go after these crooks. What a waste of time, It's not worth the time vs the risk they'll just boot you out! Second time if I don't count the email issue which was partly my fault. The customer service is always busy so that should tell you something!
Tip for consumers:
You try to cash your points and suddenly you don't qualify for reasons that are not true. I'm 66 not 13!

The site
Points are so low that it is not worth your time, search engine sucks since it takes 100's of searches to earn a few points, surveys con't get credited alot of times, also shopping points don't get credited, when you complain to customer service, they never answer you. I have been a member for over 10 years but i am about to call it quits because they have gone downhill ALOT in past months!
This is definitely one of the best paying survey sites I have tried. Surveys are regularly added throughout the day and most pay out as soon as you finish the survey. Redeeming a gift card takes a little longer than I would like but that is the only downside I have had
My experience with my points has been excellent. There have been a couple little snafus here and there but I do the daily 5, surveys and shop through their links and it pays off. It's not worth accumulating a bunch of points without using them an the most I've ever accumulated was about 15,000 before cashing them in. Overall a very positive experience.
