I had the lifeline phone program through them as well as the ebb. I was told I would have unlimited talk, text and data. On Saturday 12-26-2021 my internet was cut off. Qlink only offers customer support on Mon-Fri, so I had to wait til Monday 12-28-2021 to call and try to resolve the issue. I called them 8 times in total. The first call I was told that I would have to add money to my account to have the internet back on, that I had reached my data limit and the speeds were reduced. My speeds were not reduced I had no internet connection period. I then asked to speak with a supervisor and in turn was hung up on. I called 6 more times after this asking to speak with a supervisor only to be hung up on again all 6 times. At the beginning of each call I was asked for my call back # in case the line was disconnected, I never received a call back any of those 7 times. I know I was hung up on, I had 5 bars of service and could hear them perfectly and if I had not been hung up on and the line truly was disconnected I would have received at least 1 call back out of the 7 calls. I gave them several hours and when no one ever called back I made an 8th call and requested that my service be cancelled. What they are doing is receiving government grant money for the ebb program in which they are not providing the service it claims to be which is fraudulent to say the least. I filed a formal complaint with the BBB. This company has no morals whatsoever.
So, while I was messing around on my phone at 2am I accidentally hit the, Sim card locked, toggle which locked me out of my phone. I restarted my phone and it says that I need to have the PUK... Huh?. I had no idea what that was and had never heard of it before now. I realized that I needed to contact Qlink but had to wait for 3 hours because of their hours. Fast forward to 5:15am.
I went through the usual, press this press that. So after 6 minutes I actually got a life dude. Indian, of course, but actually spoke English, well. I explained my problem. He was had me on hold for about 4 minutes. He came back and said that Qlink didn't have the PUKs because they don't lock BYOPs... But, because he had worked for another company wanted me to try two numbers that he remembered from there... His second number worked...(yes)... This guy saved me from being locked out until I got a new Sim card, at least a week later... Forever grateful to him as I need my phone for my work.
He saved me a lot of trouble. Qlink doesn't always suck, besides, it's a free service. Be nice to these people. They are just trying to do a thankless job...
Qlink has been my savior. If not for them I would not be able to keep in touch with the people closest to me. Ihave told everyone Iknow about them. Qlink, you are the best.
I originally had my lifeline service through assurancewireless and in just 6months I was already on my 2nd free generic "no name" Chinese smartphone that they provide upon account creation. When my replacement phone became unresponsive after a month I learned I would have to pay for another generic piece of junk replacement.
At this point I bought myself an unlocked Samsung Note 10 so I would have a nicely made name brand phone to enjoy for years to come. Only to be told I couldn't use it with my assurancewireless account.
At this point I found Qlink and signed up for the "byop" bring your own phone plan where they just send you a SIM card.
The sign up couldn't have been any easier and in 7 days I had my sim card in the mail and at that point I activated it and even ported in my current cell phone number with hardly any effort.
So far I've been enjoying my new phone with my new qlink unlimited everything plan for several months now and haven't had a single complaint or problem. I should've been with qlink from the start and I recommend qlink to anybody that'll listen now.
I didn't even want to give them one star. I was never notified to re-new my enrollment (they had the correct email address, wasn't in my spam, maybe they just didn't send it? I got one last year...) so my service was cut off. I spent a WEEK being told different things by different agents (apparently they don't take notes when you call so you have to explain yourself all over again) uploading documents multiple times and when I finally had enough and asked to speak to a supervisor "Oswaldo" did all he could to prevent it. Saying, I have to try to resolve it myself ma'am, I have to give them a reason for transferring to them". I told him to tell them it was regarding documents and he began to go into this spiel about keeping my phone on and making a call at least once a month. I told him I didn't want to hear it, to transfer me and he said it was Qlink's policy to tell this to their customers. He then started over and talked as SLOWLY as possible. Total smartass! He said bye 3 times with long pauses in-between. The supervisor was no help (surprise!) said he couldn't view my documents because another department had viewed them and they do the approvals. (I was told by an agent that they themselves view the documents and do approvals). RUN AWAY! There are other lifeline companies out there, QLink is private owned and they suck!
I was approved for free phone an service through my medicare, all You get is a sims card, an they want me too pay for the device, a complete scam.
I've been trying to get a hold of customer service ever since I get it won't even let me use Wi-Fi calling
I ordered my tablet on 6/8 and I was very surprised to receive it the very next day. Thank you so much
It is a big help to have phone service. We have 2 kids in the house and they play games when I drive. It keeps them safely in their seats.
The quality is super bad and it is super slow it takes a minute to turn on i don't recommend it at all.
No problems. I really like this service it's data service is very good. Would recommend to everyone.

This company has saved my life. They have amazing customer service. They truly care about their customers.
Free service an very convenient an internet not bad...I wish they would send u a copy of like ur bill or statement to U...
Keep up the good work. Phones are kinda on the expensive side; considering most of your customers are low income, including myself. Overall, thanks!
This couldn't of come at a better time. I'm so thankful. Q link is a way to help you get back on track with life. Ty
One of the best providers I've ever worked with. I was without a phone for 2 years when I found this program. They are just great. Thank you Qlink!
Answer: Q-Link is a scam operation. REPORT to the relevant state and federal authorities ASAP! Reps are scammers reading from their scripts. Useless and intend to be useless.
Answer: Yes you can it also gives you two months free Amazon prime
Answer: It's not possible to talk to any human cause a real human wouldnt do the shit these fucking foreigner fucks do to people
Answer: I mean they provide cell service not internet that's two different animals all together. LOL you can turn your phone into a hotspot, which then allows you to tether your tablet to the phone and use its cell data but I think actually the only cost is $5 a month that's unlimited everything so I think just about anyone can afford that. But they actually send a SIM card which I believe was for the tablet and I never put it in so it could be it already came with cell service I haven't paid anything in months except for one time $5 and for all I know that was for shipping and receiving. As far as the $30 phone bill the government you already getting free service so you could apply that $30 towards the internet service if you have a provider in the area that's cheap but reliable. Good luck on that. If you need to know how to set your phone up as a hotspot you turn on Bluetooth for one but the best thing to do is just Google it say turn phone into hotspot and connect tablet for Android it will give you full directions.
Answer: Don't do it. It's not worth your time. Free is too much to pay for this piece of CRAP.
Answer: To my experience with this company since 2018 i never had to pay a dime if your being asked for money RUN run very fast they are trying to scam you because this program is 100 % free --phone --sim card --activation--only money out of pocket maybe for 2nd time go around if you loose your phone drop the sim card in the garbage disposal or belter yet the toilet but no $$$$ ALL FREE
Answer: Mine dies the same if I go over a certain amount of data and have ro wait for the new month to get data back on the phone. Doesn't seem right as it should be unlimited huh?
Answer: If it is a real Qlink email and not someone phishing for info when the package comes don't open it, Write on it "Return to Sender" your singing the song in your head, huh. Depending on your age that was an Elvis Presley song in the 50's or 60's. If it asks for any kind of information do not answer. I get one that say my (department store) order is on the way. If you get a text message and says to send "Stop" to a phone number don't do it. Most likely it is testing to see if you have an active, valid number. Anything internet, phone or text that you don't know who or what it is "Spam it" and delete. Even if you know the person there's a chance when you open it. My address book got hijacked on Facebook and sent everyone on it a virus. I don't FB anymore. It's a pretty sorry person that sends a virus to people they don't know.
Answer: I agree with the previous answer I had SafeLink years ago it takes forever to get it's not as good a service I couldn't get calls inside of my residence. It was terrible I would definitely go with QLink it's so much better in so many ways I don't think there's a question here really. They even sent me a free tablet or I think it was $5 although it's older and it's slow it's free and it does work. You have to make sure you connect it to LTE or 4G rather than 5G it is not a 5G tablet nor I don't believe the phone is either it's 4G also.
Answer: Mine got limited data but still can use calls and text if you run out of data. And it's almost June of 2024 and I am still using my free government service. Maybe however you got this program ei. In WA state you have to be TANF or SNAP and sometimes you have to renew you benefits like my food stamps I have to do that every 6 Months in WA state. So maybe you need to check if that's what your state program works!
