The Customer service is not ok. Audamated voice said 5 min. An hour later I was still waiting. The sub par phone is really having problems on the 5g network though for 3 months all I hear is please wait 7-10 days to get your updated phone.
My experience with Qlink has been great. I never had any contact with them besides the initial setup. They were very helpful then and since I've never had any reason for further contact is why they are great!
I called, they advertised I was qualified for free service. After 6 calls attempting to get my new service, spending 3 hours with on the phone I discovered that they told me all the prior info they had given me was incorrect. My iPhone was incompatible. They had to sell me a NEW phone. They are crooks...
They wanted to see if my phone and number were compatible with their service I gave them my info to see if it would transfer. By doing so it cancelled my service with my original carrier. 8 hours later I had no service with anyone and most of my pictures are erased. Now I have to pay a fee for original carrier to recover my phone number and restore my service. Was told would take 2 to 3 business days to do. I wouldn't recommend Q Link wireless to an enemy.
I applied for Qlink Wireless through the Lifeline Telephone Assistance Program. Their "customer service" is nonexistent. I have tried six times to get this issue resolved. I have called four times and emailed them through their help page on their website. I did get two emails back, but neither one of them was any help whatsoever. Both emails told me to wait 3-5 business days for an actual representative of the Qlink company to answer. The phone system is impossible. There is no way to speak to an actal live person. Color me very very unimpressed.
This company just does no care about its customers! I have been without a phone for over 4 weeks and was told I would receive a replacement and it would take 24-48 hours and here I am four weeks later without service! You can't reach customer service there is nobody to speak with! No emails as promised no calls as promised no emails as promised! Worst company ever!
I've used QLink for several months now and have. Had decent service. Hard to use without wifi and doesn't work in some Walmarts. Lol but hey, I'm happy without a monthly fee. I'm grateful to be given the gift of QLink, thanks!
I didn't even want to give them1 star but I had to at least get on the board. I finally decided to apply for an obama phone. But there seemed to be a mistake. They sent me a Hillary phone. You know... one that you just want to smack with a hammer! Screwed me out of $40.00 and the rest is history... including the phone.
I love this service. I don't have to worry about a monthly bill, and the service works great. I am on a tight budget, and Q link allows me to have a cell phone with no worries attached to it. Thank you!
From day one I realized the data was slow. I figured I'm new so maybe it's because my account wasn't fully ready or something so I gave it a few weeks. Now after a few weeks my data is super slow. Nothing in the agreement that I can see anywhere where it says how they dish out the data. They leave you in the dark prior to signing up. My data is so slow right now it's as if I don't have any data at all. I can't load a single page from the internet. This is a joke. What a mistake. At the end of this month I'm going elsewhere. Oh, and I never did get the promoted offer. They jipped me on that to. Q-link gets -rep. (-rep means bad reputation) To hell with them.
I decided to try this company, since on their website it stated I could bring my phone and keep my phone number. I applied online, approved etc. Then they stated that I needed a new phone number. Ok. Next it took forever for the sim card to arrive, and once it did, I had problems with it. I called customer service, the man asked me if I bought the phone from Walmart. My husband and I purchased two phones from the Sprint store. Then the service tech proceeded to tell me that my 3yr old phone was bad, and they had no towers in the area. That's not what they said on the website. So he said I needed a new phone and to upgrade my service with them. Not today. I hung up my husband's phone, then made sure that I still had service with my previous provider, which I did.
I love in the boonies and didn't think I would have good service but once I switched over and brought my own phone it works pretty good! Have to admit the free ZTE phone they send you is crap. You can also bring your own number as long as its still activated. Try it! What do you have to loose?!
I have tried 4 times to call in to ask questions on the main menu it does not give an option to speak to customer service I that it was do to I'm not a customer but I have read some reviews that people are having this issue I do not know if it's current customers though. Dose any one know if its Nationwide coverage? I have read a few reviews on the cells being junk. I would think they would give a so so cells do they give any 16 gb cell 8 gb are not enough free space? If any one help me please post a reviews i will look on the reviews

Service was great till November of 2023 when I started looking at other providers and found a better deal. Service was updated and thought all was good. Till the day I start to transfer my number and Qlink cancels my services, still in November and refuse to help. Getting a lawyer involved because they don't care about helping me. I need that number because that is the only number my kids know to get ahold of me (ex won't let me call them but they can call me).
I have Lifeline with Qlink. They enrolled me to the EBB program without my permission. Now, they refuse to cancel that enrollment. I applied to have EBB with my internet provider but was blocked because of the issue caused by Qlink. Now, I am losing $50 monthly.
I was trying to help my mom get a phone because she is on a fixed income. I mailed and also uploaded the necessary documents they required. ALL that happened was an email every other day saying they were still waiting for the information. Tried calling and you can't ever talk to a human being... NO CUSTOMER SERVICE whatsoever! It is 3 months later so I sent them an email to cancel and I am still getting their standard email with " waiting to hear from you". I think it's a scam

Completely fraudulent. Lures you in with an offer of a free tablet, which they have no intention of sending. Then completely botches sending out the phones, which the consumer has to pay for, and are rude when you phone them to inquire.
I love that I am blessed to have a phone plan for free. I don't use it much because I have an old phone that's very slow but it helps me to know I have something to use in case of emergency. I'm saving up for a new phone!
I give this company a 0. I lost the phone over a month ago called to cancel. I was told no I can not cancel I had to buy another phone. The phone is not being used and according to what they say to keep service active make a call once a month or text messages. Well seeing I no longer have the phone I don't. So they found a way to have the system make an outbound call with the phone number to keep the service active. I have sent several emails to cancel and Every phone I call from the system say the number is in the system. Then try to transfer you to renew tye service and not speak to an agent. Regret ever dealing with this company.

Even though Qlink had my current address, they sent mandatory upgrade sim card to my old address. Customer service phone number navigation menu is a total joke. No live person to talk to. The result is I have no working phone. The website is useless. Avoid Qlink at all costs!

Answer: I mean they provide cell service not internet that's two different animals all together. LOL you can turn your phone into a hotspot, which then allows you to tether your tablet to the phone and use its cell data but I think actually the only cost is $5 a month that's unlimited everything so I think just about anyone can afford that. But they actually send a SIM card which I believe was for the tablet and I never put it in so it could be it already came with cell service I haven't paid anything in months except for one time $5 and for all I know that was for shipping and receiving. As far as the $30 phone bill the government you already getting free service so you could apply that $30 towards the internet service if you have a provider in the area that's cheap but reliable. Good luck on that. If you need to know how to set your phone up as a hotspot you turn on Bluetooth for one but the best thing to do is just Google it say turn phone into hotspot and connect tablet for Android it will give you full directions.

Answer: If it is a real Qlink email and not someone phishing for info when the package comes don't open it, Write on it "Return to Sender" your singing the song in your head, huh. Depending on your age that was an Elvis Presley song in the 50's or 60's. If it asks for any kind of information do not answer. I get one that say my (department store) order is on the way. If you get a text message and says to send "Stop" to a phone number don't do it. Most likely it is testing to see if you have an active, valid number. Anything internet, phone or text that you don't know who or what it is "Spam it" and delete. Even if you know the person there's a chance when you open it. My address book got hijacked on Facebook and sent everyone on it a virus. I don't FB anymore. It's a pretty sorry person that sends a virus to people they don't know.
Answer: I agree with the previous answer I had SafeLink years ago it takes forever to get it's not as good a service I couldn't get calls inside of my residence. It was terrible I would definitely go with QLink it's so much better in so many ways I don't think there's a question here really. They even sent me a free tablet or I think it was $5 although it's older and it's slow it's free and it does work. You have to make sure you connect it to LTE or 4G rather than 5G it is not a 5G tablet nor I don't believe the phone is either it's 4G also.
Answer: Mine got limited data but still can use calls and text if you run out of data. And it's almost June of 2024 and I am still using my free government service. Maybe however you got this program ei. In WA state you have to be TANF or SNAP and sometimes you have to renew you benefits like my food stamps I have to do that every 6 Months in WA state. So maybe you need to check if that's what your state program works!
