While purchasing tickets for Cabaret on Broadway, I accidentally purchased tics for the wrong date (had 2 windows open!). I immediately realized my mistake, found a customer service phone number and called. I explained what happened to 'Kate', and was told that it may be possible to exchange tickets for the date I actually wanted. About 4 hours later I received a call back with a confirmation that the exchange had gone through and that my new tics were available on the app. I know that SeatGeek policy is that all purchases are final, but because these tics were a few months out they were able to assist. I appreciated the customer service.
The seller pay 10% and buyers pay up to 40% and you don't see the break down unless you put in the search price without fees. Can't reach a human to speak with This is the official site of MLB contact you team to tell them that fans are being ripped off
It took no time at all and user friendly. I love that it tells you what is a good deal or not and it shows you exactly what you will pay. I'm definetley happy with seatgeek!
I never write reviews, but the experience I had with SeatGeek was so bad I wanted to warn others from using this company. The long and short is that they don't stand by there own advertisements of seat swaps and you will lose your money.
I Purchased five tickets to a football game and two weeks out I realized I wouldn't be able to use the tickets. I emailed their customer service several times to do the advertised one time seat swap for credit of the purchased price. The only response I received from the emails stated that they have several inquires and will get back. They never did, so I contact customer service via telephone. Each call to customer service I was placed on hold for 58 minutes before I would be transferred to an agent. After each call the agent said they would take care of the seat swap and email me with a confirmation; never received a confirmation email, and I did this 4 times. 4 total hours on hold and no seat swap.
SeekGeek took me for $356.00. Don't ever use this company. The company is fraudulent and a scam.
DO NOT USE SEAT GEEK!
DO NOT USE SEAT GEEK! YOU WILL REGRET IT! I would give them a zero if it were an option. No customer service, rude, do not respond in a timely manner and they are unprofessional. I would not recommend you ever use them unless you want to lose your money, be taken advantage of and have no one respond via email, text, chat or phone. I lost $1000 from tickets purchased due to a reschedule, not a cancellation, due to Covid and then told I had to use them or sell them because it was not cancelled. When I tried to sell, no customer service allowed me to verify my payout method and it just sat there in a big black hole somewhere. I finally gave up and donated them to a local place in Boston to use or sell. This company is a joke.
Tip for consumers:

I purchased 2 tickets to the Doobie Bros for 1,400.00. When I hit the purchase button, a page came up that said," WE APOLOGIZE, THESE TICKETS ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE. PLEASE RESELECT." So, I went back and purchased 2 more tickets. These went through fine. One minute later they charged through the first order as well. I called and they absolutely will not give me my money back on the 2 tickets THEY said were no longer available. I asked to speak to a supervisor but have gotten nothing. I have a 3,000 charge on my credit card.
Tip for consumers:
When they tell you the tickets are no longer available, they are! And they will charge you for them later!!!

Hopefully just 2 tickets to Doobie Brothers
This business is a big mess of gobbly gook! Bought tickets using my credit card for the Stevie Nicks concert in Houston and 24 hours before the show, I was notified it was rescheduled. Wanted to see her and tried to make the rescheduled date work but couldn't. After at least 8 emails back and forth, they agreed to at least allow 100% of the paid amount to be saved for future use. When I tried to use it a few months later, the system informed me I had to buy tickets at least the same amount as original tickets. No tickets were available at the same amount. There were lots for less tho. I ended up spending another $150 on my same credit card plus the original $585 to just use my $585. Now, a week before that show, it is rescheduled for a full year from the planned date. I asked for a refund and they only refunded the second amount, not the original $585. Such BS! After all this crap with them and their ridiculous rules, I am still out $585. They keep saying "so sorry" but refuse to do what's right! I will warn as many people as I can on as many sites as possible to avoid any dealings with these thieves

FROM THE PURSCHASE PROCESS ALL THE WAY TO CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE! OH AND IF YOU WANT TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE IN CORPORATE GOOD LUCK. ALL YOU GET IS SOMEONE OFFSHORE THAT DOESN'T KNOW THEIR HEAD FROM THEIR FEET AND CAN'T MAKE A DECISION TO SAVE THEIR LIVES!
I bought tickets for The Rolling Stones concert (before it was postponed). SeatGeek was prompt to ship my tickets via UPS 2-day shipping. I came home excited to find my tickets at my front door, and they weren't there. I called UPS to confirm the delivery address, and was told my address was incorrect and it was delivered elsewhere. I had input my address correctly on SeatGeek when I purchased the tickets so this didn't make sense. UPS wouldn't give me the delivery address for security purposes. Luckily I was able to find the address that SeatGeek sent the tickets to in an email from them. The tickets were delivered to a home 20 houses away from mine, on the same street. Not sure how they got the house number so wrong on the shipping label. Glad my neighbor was kind and honest about the package not being hers and said she was going to drop it off to UPS the next day. I paid a lot of money for these tickets as an anniversary gift, so to come home thinking they were stolen from my front door and getting the runaround from UPS, to discover it was the mistake of seatgeek was extremely upsetting and stressful. I am less likely to use seatgeek in the future due to this experience.
Update: it took some time and a few tries but I finally got refunded for a canceled show. High markups, wasn't able to get tickets until close to the date of the show.
Couldn't be easier to use. It's simple to find the event, location, and date. But the best part is it shows you where the seats are and rates how good of a deal it is. I love it!
SeatGeek is terrible. I purchased my tickets over a month prior to the game and was assured by SeatGeeks "guarantee" that they would arrive. Site says not to worry they will arrive and asks that you do not contact seetgeek until 24 hours prior to your event. If you are traveling as I was, this is a big risk with no tickets in hand. Seats did not arrive and I contacted seatgeek with 24 hours - after waiting about an hour to reach someone by "chat" they assured me that they would look into my tickets and promised to get back to me asap. I never heard from this agent again. Contacted them the morning of the game - 10am kick off - but they only offer email support until 8am pacific - so it was with about 1/2 hour of the game to get to some live - again only but text chat. They had no explanation as to why they allow fraudulent sellers, apologized and offered a refund. No offer of replacement tickets or offer to cover the expense of traveling to the game. Do not use this site if you care about seeing your team.
Had multiple windows open and selected the wrong date for the event I purchased, I have a prior engagement and was comparing prices. I noticed the error almost immediately after the tickets were emailed to me. I called to ask if we could contact the sellers and explain to them what happened and if we could refund the money and they get the tickets back. The person on the phone was rude and just kept telling me that they couldn't contact the seller and my only option was to try and resell them myself. The seller on the tickets according to the website is SeatGeek. How can you not contact the seller and tell them it was an honest mistake. I'm not trying to con anyone out of money or tickets. I'm trying to return them to the seller if they would understand my situation. On their website it says you can contact the seller and ask them if they will refund the tickets but the person on the phone says they can't do that. I feel like they don't want me to talk to the seller because it will be to big of a hassle. I guess I could just dispute the translation on my card since SeatGeek is being no help at all!
They never sent the original confirm email but debited my card I sent an email after I purchased them again and finally recd an email with two tickets... still awaiting a reply
Hi Stephen,
We're glad you took the time to leave this feedback. We couldn't find any e-mails from you in our server-- if you have any outstanding questions regarding this or any other order, than please do reach our to our support team at the e-mail address or phone number below! The overall experience was quick and easy. Just really have a difficult time stomaching the add-on fees. I went back and forth and finally went with it. Don't know about the future.
It was easy to buy my tickets and to get access to them on the day of the game. I like this form of e-ticket than what Sounders used to use. This is much better.
I used to love SeatGeek years ago. Now, I will never do business with them again!
I bought Braves tickets 4 weeks in advance. I was told the tickets would be sent to TicketMaster. What? In the meantime, my son suddenly gets picked to represent Region 3 in the Body Armor State Games for NC. Just so happened, we couldn't be in two places at once. I requested access to my tickets so that I could resell them. I messaged SeatGeek 3 or 4 times, with no help at all. My tickets were unavailable on SeatGeek and NEVER showed up on TicketMaster. Instead, I had to claim my tickets on the MLB app two days before game day. That app doesn't have a sell option. And oh yeah, I had to find my tickets that way on my own after hours of scouring emails. I was NEVER notified during my many inquiries that they would not be sent to TicketMaster, like I had been told. I was out over $250 and countless hours of searching for my tickets by sending inquiries to SeatGeek and TicketMaster. Don't waste your time or money!
So I ALMOST bought a couple of tickets through this site but at the last minute I did not because I found out my husband was going to have to work. I made an account with my email address and made a password but I never actually purchased anything, so no card or bank info was ever entered into my account. The only thug that I put in was my email and the city I lived in... So that was 2 months ago. Today I have been receiving emails all day long about Coldplay tickets that were successfully sold and the amount they were sold for. And it's like tons of tickets and thousands of dollars so I log on with MY email and MY password and there is some other phone number and bank account hooked up to it. I want to delete my account because I am not selling these tickets and I can not do it. I tried to call and email about concerns and have not had any help. I am worried someone is selling fraudulent tickets with my name attached to them and I can't even cancel my account to get away from it. I really do not know how this is happening but I just really want nothing to do with it and want my info off this site. Do not even mess with this site. I never even bought anything off this site and I am dealing with sketchiness.
Jenna, this is completely unacceptable and we are so glad that you shared what was going on with your account here. We apologize that your account has been targeted in this manner. CANCELED. No email notification no nothing. Wasted fuel, toll & time to by hyped up to see one of my favorite artists just to find out he wasn't coming :(
I have gotten so many good deals with SeatGeek and it is so easy. Click on the tickets and pay, you also get to see what the seats look like so you know what you are gettin.
Very happy to hear you are happy with our service! We are happy to keeping help you get to go to live events you really want to attend!
The convenience of Seat Geek is great! However, the fees are enough to negate the overall user experience.

My daughter bought ticket to Billie Eilish through SeatGeek. They must be affiliated with Ticketmaster because she received a link from Ticketmaster, not SeatGeek. But the tickets had no information - no seating or other info. She spent hours on the phone with Ticketmaster (who said her order no was not valid) before they sent her back to SeatGeek where they gave her the runaround saying the seller hadn't released the tickets. Their guarantee says they will provide comparable or better seats if this happens and their website showed plenty of seats available but they just strung her along saying they were trying to contact the seller and advising her to wait to see if the seller released the tickets. I checked BBB and they have ~ 1200 complaints and at least 1/4 of these SeatGeek never responded to or did not resolve. BBB revoked their accreditation and gave them an F rating. Besides losing 2 days sitting on the phone, she is out for hotel rooms, gas, and time off from work and still hasn't received a refund. There should be some sort of recourse - SeatGeek should not be allowed to operate. I understand that they sell 3rd party tickets but they take the money, they are responsible, and they should honor what they say on their website. Bottom line is that you are taking a huge risk if you buy tickets from SeatGeek.

This site is not reputable and has had over 1000 complaints lodged against them.

The first time I used it we were able to print the tickets. This time I only received bar codes for each ticket. Hope there aren't any issues when we get to the game.
Got NCAA tickets two different days and both days the tickets wouldn't scan so we had to go to the box office we did get our tickets exact seats and they re-printed tickets for us so I'm not sure if this is seat geek's fault or the BoK Center at Tulsa
I bought simply because your fees were lower than everywhere else so it was a no brainer! You guys should crush your comp so long as you have the lower fees
Paid for Kane Brown tickets for my daughters birthday. $121.53 per ticket. Printed them out, they are $50 tickets.
Four tickets through SeatGeek =$486.12
Four tickets at the gate =$200.00
Scalpers!
Hi Jeremy,
SeatGeek is a secondary marketplace, which means it is a place people who have tickets to sell go to list them. Those sellers set their prices and we are a service that connects buyers to these sellers. Sometimes when an event is sold out or at least not available in desirable sections, sellers will price tickets at a level they feel will sell. The price you are seeing on the tickets is the price the ticket cost if bought on the primary market from the box office.
Warm Regards,
SeatGeek CX Team

Hi Dan, thanks for taking the time to write this review, and I apologize that your experience with our Customer Support team wasn't a pleasant one! For more context, we're able to provide vendor information for larger third-party vendors, but not the seller information for private licensed sellers that we work with. Our Terms of Use state that all sales are final, so unfortunately neither we nor the sellers we represent are unable to refund tickets once and order has been submitted or confirmed. Regarding the 24-hour payout hold--that's for our SeatGeek Marketplace users. Our licensed sellers have a specific set of policies.
We are truly sorry for the negative experience, but if you'd like to follow up with us regarding the order or for more information, please feel free to reach out to us via email at hi@seatgeek.com or by phone at 1-888-506-4101.
