While purchasing tickets for Cabaret on Broadway, I accidentally purchased tics for the wrong date (had 2 windows open!). I immediately realized my mistake, found a customer service phone number and called. I explained what happened to 'Kate', and was told that it may be possible to exchange tickets for the date I actually wanted. About 4 hours later I received a call back with a confirmation that the exchange had gone through and that my new tics were available on the app. I know that SeatGeek policy is that all purchases are final, but because these tics were a few months out they were able to assist. I appreciated the customer service.
The seller pay 10% and buyers pay up to 40% and you don't see the break down unless you put in the search price without fees. Can't reach a human to speak with This is the official site of MLB contact you team to tell them that fans are being ripped off
We purchased tickets to the Drake concert at Madsion Square Garden. When we arrived and the tickets were scanned we were told that they were invalid. Seat Geek did say they will refund the money but that's not what it's about. They never should have allowed the tickets to be posted. It's their job to make sure this doesn't happen! They failed. DO NOT USE THE SITE.
But the tickets and maybe they will come. I canceled my day at work to attend a game and the day of the game after I contacted them it was oh, yup can't go after all. Yea they will refund my money but hell I lost a day at work!
I buy 2 tickets to LA vs SF on 9/30. I get a call from Seatgeek explaining that my tickets were no longer available. Would I want them to find me other tickets or do I want a full refund plus 20% added to my PayPal acct. They explained that the PayPal account would be refunded in 7 to 10 working days and the seat geek refund would be 3 to 5 working days. I recieved the PayPal refund in 4 days. No refund on my seatgeek. I call for an explanation. I am told that they processed the refund but that my bank returned the money. They never notify me nor do they process the refund again they said their refund was returned to their account. Then they say it will take another three to five working days for me to get my money. So I will just sit here and wait. Guess I will just have to call my bank to get my money back
Very easy to use. Only helpful feature would be to add seatview. Particularly to concert. We had partially obstructed view and hard to understand what that entailed
And Good work sponsoring the ringer. Love the podcasts and why I use this app
I got ripped off! I ordered 4 tickets to an event. Got to th venue and found out tickets were $30 after Seatgeek charged me $35 PLUS 16.50 per ticket. Then the ticket link DID NOT work so I missed the event and now Seatgeek is giving me the run around instead of a REFUND! I'll NEVER purchase from them again and advise others not to! Biggest legal SCAM EVER!

I NEVER RECEIVED the product (tickets) that I ordered.
I purchased tickets to a concert after reading all the horrible reviews. Overall my experience was good I got my tickets almost immediately after I got the confirmation email and I was able to get in with no problems. But unfortunately I probably won't purchase from SeatGeek again because I had to much anxiety leading up to the concert. I was really concerned that I wasn't going to get in. In the future I will just purchase tickets from the original vendor when they first go on sale to avoid all the hassle.
Hi there Takerra, thanks so much for writing this review! We know that reading reviews about invalid tickets can cause some trepidation and stress, but please know that while it may not appear that way, invalid tickets occur for a very small percentage of our orders! We do our very best to make sure all tickets are valid, but when things like that happen, we do everything in our power to make sure the user is taken care of. We hope that you give us another shot in the future so we can prove that SeatGeek is absolutely here to make your experience the best it can be! Thank you again!
The business model of SeatGeek is questionable. This ticket reseller has no way to guarantee tickets after the sale. Not sure how the "ticket broker" can reject an order. This makes no sense. The advertised price is the ADVERTISED price. And if the credit card goes through, the order should be valid and should be honored.
Tip for consumers:
1. Make sure you check the actual box office first. Prices at Seat Geek are WAY over face value. But that's not clear on the web site.
2. DON'T use unless you are desperate for tickets to a sold-out event.

Bought 2 tickets to a football game. All my info and confirmations were correct, but they sent me tickets for the wrong game. I contacted the actual seller, Seat Geek ASAP, they told me I had to contact FanExchange (the actual seller) to straighten out the problem. Nowhere is it printed that they are not the actual seller and not responsible for the transaction.
FanExchange acknowledged the mix up and told me they would have the correct tickets to me in 30 minutes. Of course, no tickets or update from FanExchange. I called customer service the next day and finally got the correct tickets emailed to me.
In the future I will stick with Stubhub and Vivid Seats, they may be more expensive, but at least you are dealing with the actual company, rather than a 3rd party.
We ordered Tickets over 2 Weeks before the date of the play. We were sent an email stating that the tickets we purchased were not available, you were going to replace them with similar seats and I was to respond to the email if this was OK which I did. I sent another email to customer service looking for the new tickets and when they would be sent but got no response. We then called directly and finally found out that the tickets were never sent and they are going to overnight to us, which became a problem as there was no one here to sign for them. Overall I wanted to give SeatGeek a shot as we normally use Stub Hub, I will go back to Stub Hub - Never had a problem with them.
Hi Mark, thanks so much for bringing this to our attention. It looks like this order was placed through one of our vendor partners, TicketNetwork. When orders are placed through a third-party outside of SeatGeek, SeatGeek does not have fulfillment information, so unfortunately our team wasn't aware of this issue.
Please know that any time this sort of thing is brought to light regarding one of our vendor partners, we take it extremely seriously. We never want our users to have a negative experience, and in this instance we apologize that we didn't have the opportunity to help.
We'll be reaching out to you directly to follow up about what happened with this order, and again, we're genuinely sorry to hear about this experience.

I bought tickets and they canceled the order the day of the event and never sent them. They'll pass the buck and say it's not their fault, it's the fault of ticket broker, but come on, Stubhub doesn't let you down.
Over all experience was good able to navigate web site decent
Was not happy with being able to check different seats in site for some reason it would not change and I would have to log out and start again to view a different seat location for the same show I wanted to attend
Fairly straight forward, bought 3 tix from a group of 4 on another site, then a late addition wanted to come, the 4th seat went up $50, so bought a ticket for $30 cheaper on seatgeek in the same section and just sat in the unpurchased 4th seat so all were in a row.
Seat Geek sent me tickets the day before the NCAA Baseball tournament in Fayetteville, AR, but the day of the game they emailed me and told me the tickets they sent me were invalidated and to use the new tickets they attached. Problem was they were to the wrong game. Totally screwed us up because now all the tickets were sold out to the correct game. No offer to get us tickets from another vendor at their expense. I'll never use them again. Horrible service.
Hi JD, we're incredibly sorry this happened! SeatGeek doesn't own ticket inventory, so any time the seller reports that tickets have been invalidated for any reason, we request that the seller provide replacements if possible. We can't apologize enough for the fact that the replacements provided were for the incorrect game, and it's something our team is likely investigating with the seller. That being said, we'd have definitely provided replacement tickets for this order had any been available. However, in the event that replacements are not available, we don't have access to tickets and have to therefore provide the refund. If you'd like us to look into this further to check on what happened outside of the current investigation, please reach out to our support team at hi@seatgeek.com and we'll definitely make sure this is corrected. Thank you.
The email from the vendor said we had to print the tickets but then SeatGeek sent us a mobile ticket. Thankfully the mobile ticket worked but I was confused if I had to print per the instruction of the seller or if I could use the mobile version.
I bought a ticket on a whim and got a great deal. It couldn't have been simpler, honestly. I paid $42 total including service fees for a single ticket in section 215 at MSG. Thought I should make it to MSG before prices skyrocket
First of all, I will not going to use this app ever again! Me and my friend we bought 2 tickets from Seatgeek. And then it turns out that the tickets were piggy back seats. However when we bought the tickets there wasn't anything saying that it's piggy back seats. And when we called the Seatgeek they insisted that it was written there and they didn't change our tickets. So, we sold the tickets. And we bought the tickets for 82$ and we solved for 33$. Don't use this app!
Hi Asan, we apologize if there was any confusion surrounding this order. While the majority of our ticket sales are for seats that are consecutive, sellers do sometimes list piggy back seats, which is information that's required to be notated on the listing. It does sound as though this order was notated as such, and unfortunately in situations like those, we're unable to cancel the order. We do our best to make sure our users have the option to easily re-list tickets they cannot or do not want to use to aid in cost recoupment, and we're happy to hear that you were at least able to utilize the Marketplace to make sure that happened! If you have any other questions regarding sales, order cancellations, or listing requirements, please always feel free to refer to our Terms of Use which can be found here: (https://seatgeek.com/terms). Additionally, please also feel free to reach out to our customer support team at any time via email at (hi@seatgeek.com) with any questions or concerns you have, we're always happy to help.
Buying the tickets went smoothly. The download was available within minutes after the purchase was processed. They had someone else's name on them and said "SEC vs Big 12" instead of "Memphis vs Iowa State" for the team names, but the tickets worked at the gate after worrying that they wouldn't. I've read so many bad reviews about invalid and canceled tickets, and worried so much, that I probably won't use SeatGeek again. They're cheaper than StubHub, which I've bought from in the past, but StubHub seems to be better otherwise.
Tip for consumers:
Buy e-tickets, if possible, and get them as early as possible after tickets go on sale. I think this eliminates a lot of issues people seem to have with SeatGeek.
I have been using Seatgeek a lot since April since it is the official ticket service for LAFC. Everything about it is great and the way it works with the LAFC app is great. Only issues I have with it are the fees I have been using tickpick.com which charges no fees so to now have to pay the fees is pretty annoying. Now that I have a mini plan I plan on selling tickets on the site as well. Looks like the fees for the seller are higher than those on StubHub and tickpick so not sure if I will use Seatgeek. Outside of that everything is great! Keep up the good work.
I bought tickets to Pearl Jam at Fenway Park yesterday. The seats I bought were great for the price I paid, although I bought them at the last minute. Once I confirmed the transaction, I got an email telling me that my purchase was confirmed and just had to wait for the seller to release to tickets to me. That happened within 5 minutes and I had the tickets on my phone to enter the concert. Super easy - very satisfied!
Went to Seat Geek to get tickets for a Gwen Stefani concert in Houston, TX one month before the event was to take place. The tickets were never mailed to me and I was told by Seat Geek that the tickets would be waiting at Will Call for me. I showed up at the venue to learn that not only were my tickets not at Will Call as promised, but that such arrangements are never made between the venue box office and third party ticket sellers. According to the representative that I spoke with, the box office is actually contractually obligated to not engage in such arrangements.
I had to then purchase alternate seats at the last minute in a location that was not nearly as good of a location as what I had originally paid for.
My advice is to avoid this company unless you enjoy paying twice to go to one show.
Blake, thank you for taking the time to share your experience and we are so sorry that you ran into an issue at the show. This is absolutely never what we wish for any of our customers and we'd love the chance to make it right. Please email us at hi@seatgeek.com so that we can help!
I buy many tix through SeatGeek. This is my first bad experience. But, I would probably not buy Prudential Center tix through your site again. I use SG and similar sites to avoid Ticket Master. Now, I am going to the game, and I'm not even sure where my tix are... Completely unacceptable! Bad for customers, bad for Prudential Center, bad for Seat Geek!
Hey there!
Really glad to hear that you have had many positive experiences in the past!
That said, very sorry to hear your recent ticket buying experience did not go as well. Sometimes certain events or venues have a set requirement for the platform used for electronic tickets. In situations like these the tickets end up being fulfilled via a transfer through the ticket service, in this case TicketMaster, that the venue is requiring.
Hopefully everything worked out and your tickets were delivered, but if for any reason you didn't get your tickets in time for the game please contact us at support@seatgeek.com or via phone at (888)506-4101.
In a nutshell - purchased tix from seatgeek for a out of town show. Paid for hotel and transportation Up until the show seatgeek guranteed the tix would arrive. 4 hours before the show NO TICKETS! Complete waste of money! If they wouldve informed several days prior I wouldve cancelled my room and transportation and saved money!
Although they are processing a refund - That still doesn't equate to the amount of money we spent overall. Dont, I mean dont buy from here.
After reading the negative reviews, I was hesitant about the order I placed. However, my experience could not have been better. Before receiving my tickets, I had a questions which I sent to customer service. They litterally answered me withing 3 minutes and gave me the exact info I needed. I had no problems using my tickets and the price was very good. I will definetely use them again.
SeatGeek is amazing! Getting the tickets was an easy process and the price for the ticket I purchased was greater than I expected! I was so close to the floor I never expected to pay the price I paid for those seats. I will definitely use GeekSeat in the future.
