While purchasing tickets for Cabaret on Broadway, I accidentally purchased tics for the wrong date (had 2 windows open!). I immediately realized my mistake, found a customer service phone number and called. I explained what happened to 'Kate', and was told that it may be possible to exchange tickets for the date I actually wanted. About 4 hours later I received a call back with a confirmation that the exchange had gone through and that my new tics were available on the app. I know that SeatGeek policy is that all purchases are final, but because these tics were a few months out they were able to assist. I appreciated the customer service.
I purchased tickets from Seat Geek to Sabrina Carpenter two months prior to the show. I received the tickets via email and added them to my Ticketmaster account. Three hours prior to the concert I got a notification from Ticketmaster that the tickets were invalid. Seat Geek customer service was useless and we were unable to attend the show. I've now spent 18 days communicating with seat geek via email and phone in which I'm continually told their team is working on it. I'm out over $700 and this company has made no attempts to refund me despite their buyer guarantee. Horribly incompetent customer service, would never trust to buy from them again.
The new experience of no paper tickets for our Oracle park purchase was slightly intimidating but the transaction was completed with only a minor email receipt delay. I definitely recommend SeatGeek to purchase tickets.

This is the place to buy tickets! Hands down the best PLACE! I've used other sites to purchase tickets and have had the run around, on either getting my tickets or applying any coupons I've been given. Not a single problem ever with these guys!

This is a great place to buy tickets. The prices are fluid due to sellers selecting their own prices to sell. You have to pay attention to ticket v e-ticket, as the former means it coming snail mail. My e-tickets showed up quickly. A great experience all around.

UTree was the one who let me know of SeatGeek's existence - my business can be thanked due to him. I've been very, very happy with it! Easy, reasonably priced, clean UI, hassle-free. Great all-around!

Bull$#*!! Purchased tickets said that they were being confirmed(NEVER $#*!ing happened) sent an email to request a refund and no response wtf! Hands down this was my first worst and last time I'll ever use them

Such an awful experience, couldn't get in touch with anyone, bought tickets and the concert got rescheduled for a year later and no refund option is available only site credit, can't even resell the ticket because they won't give me them until 5 days before the event, absolutely sucks

My friends and I bought tickets for a basketball game in Syracuse that we were coming in from out of town for. This game was postponed and policies were changed regarding who can go. SeatGeek refused to give us a refund we bought 9 tickets that were over $60 each. We are back to work and cannot attend the game, it is ridiculous that we cannot get our money back and I will never be purchasing tickets again through SeatGeek.

SeatGeek is incredibly fast and easy to use. It is a great feature that it provides you with a virtual view of the field from your seats when you click on them. The purchasing process takes only seconds and I had not problem getting into the game using the tickets on the app on my phone.

Got tickets day before concert to find out they had a mapping issue so I would sat in box section in the sky instead of 4th row on floor. Did get a full refund but was left with find for yourself on tickets to a show sold out the next day. Never again will I ise

I tried purchasing tix with two separate credit cards. Both were declined for unknown reasons. There was no notifications saying why. Then the app crashed forcing me to have to find my tix again and hoping I didn't lose them

Great seats for the price. Had a real good time. Row D is first row of that section. Seat Geek easy to buy tickets on the App. Would like to know full price while looking at ticket prices. Always sticker shock during checkout. April 9th 2019
Date of experience: April 11, 2019
Hey there!
Really glad you had such a great time at the event! Also pleased to hear you have ease using our app.
For the future, we actually understand that sticker shock is a thing and we want to help people avoid that. When you look for tickets you can actually set the search to show the prices with fees included. That way you can see what the final cost is going to be prior to getting to that checkout window!
A 100% return DOES NOT MEAN you get a refund for 100% of the money you spent. It means you get a credit for that amount to use on your next SeatGeek purchase. No way around that. They also have weird restrictions on what you can buy with the promo code return credit. So basically, good luck getting your value back after you give them your money. Horrible ticket service company!

Don’t use SeatGeek!

Just received an email that our tickets would no longer be valid at the venue. Was informed that in 4 days we could get a refund. Only thing I can think now is that the tickets from there own site, appear to have doubled in value since we purchased them a year ago. So much for morals! Purchased for our 15th at old's Christmas present, along with booked hotel and flights, and to cancel 3 days before the concert? Totally criminal. Unregulated industry that needs government oversight. Crazy they can be in business.
So, long and short, if you buy tickets, don't ever really expect them not to be cancelled if the venue price goes up and they can make a quick and dirty buck. Appalling.

I bought 2 hockey tickets and was charged so much in fees that I could have bought a 3rd ticket on ticketmaster for the same price. They are charging $30 in fees PLUS tax per ticket... a complete rip off. I should have done more research before purchasing but will definitely never be using this site again. Once you factor in fees you'll find better prices almost anywhere else

I always check reviews online for companies with which I am not familiar. They advertise on podcasts that I enjoy, so I took them at face value. My mistake. The litany of lies and omissions this company uses to shroud the truth would take 5,000 words to fully explain.
The tickets are not guaranteed, no matter what they say. If you sell tickets on this scam site you get your money, minus huge fees, 5 days AFTER the event. They charge exorbitant fees to buy or sell.
I am contacting the Attorney General of South Carolina. He loves to make trouble for business' that use unfair and misleading advertisements.

As a kid, I listened to the radio and dreamed of going to a game at Dodger Stadium. Now I'm retired and go several times a month during the season.
The prices on SeatGeek allow this. It's fast, never had a problem after 50+ games, including playoffs and World Series (not so cheap prices, I highly recommend to everyone.

Never received my tickets for the AZ Cardinals game... it was a Christmas gift for my son who drove in from Canada. Seat Geek doesnt care enough about their customers to have a direct contact phone... reviews show this is a very common issue!
Tip for consumers:
Don'the use Seat Geek...find another trustworthy site.

I purchased tickets from Seat Geek sucessfully from for years with no issues until 11/19, when i purchased tickets for 11/27 for My Fair Lady at the Buell. While a specific row was not given the "dot"was clearly in the center of Orchestra C which is around row S. 24 hours later and i received the tickets, WW section D in the right rear corner.
I immediately emailed their support team 3 times and requested an exchange or a refund. Pamela finally responded today (LOL) and regrets my frustration? I am surprised they are getting behind a supplier selling fraudulent tickets. Buyer beware as their customer support is non-existent!
Tip for consumers:
Seat Geek does not stand behind their tickets. Zero customer support

Event rescheduled for 3 months later due to Covid-19 and I was refused a refund or credit despite no longer being able to attend (I now have a newborn at home). In addition to that it took over a month for me to talk to someone to even list my tickets (so they never resold) because they got rid of their customer service phone line. They're scamming families! Avoid SeatGeek!

Purchase elsewhere!

Bought a ticket to the Angels game in Anaheim.
Upon entering the stadium, staff scanned bar code on my phonfe and informed me the ticket had already been used.
Apparently seatgeek's vendor sold multiple tickets for the same seat.
At least seatgeek blamed it on a vendor.
They said they would do an investigation, but i don't expect anything to come of it.
Never again. Lesson learned. Beware.

Hi Tim, we do guarantee that an investigation is begun by our Trust and Safety team any time a buyer reports invalid tickets, and pending the results, a refund will be on its way soon! We highly recommend keeping an eye on the email thread with the representative you've previously spoken to make sure you're up-to-date on any information that comes through. Keep in mind that investigations can take up to six business days to complete. If you'd like us to take a look at the progress, please always feel free to reach out to us via email to hi@seatgeek.com so we can check on the status of the refund. Thank you.
So apparently if you use they're service they can just ghost you? I've reached out to customer service 5-7 times and still haven't gotten any type of response. So unprofessional!
I wouldn't trust them with anything especially the fact that they're a third party app and cannot be reliable with even answering emails. I'll never buy a ticket from them again.

My son bought supposed floor tickets for the Chainsmokers concert. They were sent digitally to his phone. When he got to the concert, the tickets would not work. After 45 min. Of trying, he had to just go ahead and purchase another ticket there at the venue. Tried emailing and calling; no response. Hopefully he will be protected through our credit card as we have filed a claim.
Date of experience: May 12, 2017
Hi Tammy, thanks for writing in about this! We're truly sorry our son ran into some issues with those Chainsmokers tickets, and we're working diligently to make sure all users affected by the mishap that occurred with the seller who provided the tickets are taken care of. That being said, we want to make sure your request is resolved without you having to issue a chargeback. If you could send us a private message with your Order ID so we can make sure to look into this, we'll be sure it gets addressed right away for you! We look forward to hearing from you.
Purchase tickets and not only was the tickets very difficult and long to purchase but the price was very misleading. The purchase price was $530 and once payment was submitted the total came to $808. $200+ in service fees and $60+ in taxes. No warning at an expensive price to pay. More than half of original price.

I just posted a couple tickets and read all of these horrible reviews... I really hope this isn't true, but i'm calling my credit card company now and canceling the transaction. This insane. You people should be sued and put out of business for STEALING people's money!

Hi Christina, we're sorry that we weren't able to provide you with an awesome experience. SeatGeek is a search engine that aggregates listings from hundreds of ticket websites, all of whom are vetted and come with full guarantees. If you ever have questions, you can reach out to us at hi@seatgeek.com. We'd love to help!
I had a price of $52 each ticket and had the open window, trying to find code, and then site crashed or something but it would not go through so when I went back on the tickets were more $59 i think? And really high "fees". I was stuck since my child really wanted to go to this concert and I had promised them once I saw the original price. Not a huge difference, but really really annoying, and "unfair"
Date of experience: February 17, 2019
Hi Donna,
I'm sorry to hear that the price changed on your order. Due to our nature as a secondary ticket market, sometimes prices will fluctuate. As we are connecting buyers to sellers, those sellers will often update their listings either increasing or decreasing the prices as it gets closer to the event. As for the fees, we do our best to keep them lower or comparable to other ticket platforms. You can search for listings with fees included in the future, as that will make sure there are no surprises at checkout.
SeatGeek is the Web's largest event ticket search engine. Discover events you love, search all ticket sites, see seat locations and get the best deals on tickets.
Taylor, we are so grateful that you took the time out to tell us about your experience and we're so sorry it was a negative one. I assure you our CX team responds to every email in the order that they arrive and they'll be more than happy to look into the issue that came up for your order. I apologize again that you had a disappointing experience and we'll be in touch.
