While purchasing tickets for Cabaret on Broadway, I accidentally purchased tics for the wrong date (had 2 windows open!). I immediately realized my mistake, found a customer service phone number and called. I explained what happened to 'Kate', and was told that it may be possible to exchange tickets for the date I actually wanted. About 4 hours later I received a call back with a confirmation that the exchange had gone through and that my new tics were available on the app. I know that SeatGeek policy is that all purchases are final, but because these tics were a few months out they were able to assist. I appreciated the customer service.
I purchased tickets from Seat Geek to Sabrina Carpenter two months prior to the show. I received the tickets via email and added them to my Ticketmaster account. Three hours prior to the concert I got a notification from Ticketmaster that the tickets were invalid. Seat Geek customer service was useless and we were unable to attend the show. I've now spent 18 days communicating with seat geek via email and phone in which I'm continually told their team is working on it. I'm out over $700 and this company has made no attempts to refund me despite their buyer guarantee. Horribly incompetent customer service, would never trust to buy from them again.
SeatGeek promises your tickets will be next to each other. I bought two tickets to Illenium in Denver and the seller sent two separate tickets in entirely different sections. One ticket was the promised section and the other was two levels up in the stands. The listing was a single listing for two tickets in the promised section. Our sections are accessed by two different gates. Who would by two tickets to take their significant other to a concert just to say "see you after the show!". I have tried to get this resolved through SeatGeek's support but I've gotten nowhere. The seller said to send the ticket back and it's been sitting in a sent (but not accepted) state for over a day. I had to make the call to just buy another ticket for myself so that I can be somewhat near my wife at this show. I will never go through SeatGeek again.
Tip for consumers:
I did have a support ticket open but all SeatGeek can do is act as a middle man. They promise something but it's really put to the seller on the other end to come through. If they don't, SeatGeek can only ask them to come through. If they still don't, you're out of luck.

I would give a 0-Star. I originally went to Seat Geek to purchase ticket and was told "There's a problem with your trans, please try again later. I went to Ticketmaster and bought similar seats in the same section. Later that evening I received an email saying, "Tickets have been confirmed." I responded to the email saying I didn't authorize a new transaction. No response. I called the next day and waited for 3-hrs on hold to talk to a rep. She said they would only offer a credit to my account that would be good for a year and would not refund my money. I asked to speak with a manager and was placed on hold for another hour. When the Rep came back, she said, "We're sorry all sales are final," and then pretended not to hear me and hung up. I notified my credit card company's fraud unit and it's pending. Never use Seat Geek or enter any personal information whatso ever to them.

It was easy and quick, with decent pricing. I had a problem with another company where they canceled my order because the even was supposedly canceled when it's clearly not. I hope that doesn't happen hear. If all goes well then yes, my experience was great!

I'd give zero stars if I could. They use the guise of being helpful to notify you of parking - but they only give you their pricing information, not the whole truth. The parking link led me to pay $60 bucks for parking in advance, making it seem that I would not get parking if I didn't buy in advance. Then I get there and find out there is plenty of parking for $25-$30. And the lot I prepaid for was further away! Complete, intentional rip-off. Also, tix have to be on your mobile phone. What if your battery dies? Such a garbage experience, that I simply wont go to any event that requires me to use this app. Complete trash.

Got my tickets to see Bill Maher and it was fast and easy and the best part was that all I had to do is put them in my iPhone wallet and not worry about losing them or compilations of them downloading. I will definitely buy here more often.

Heard their ads on podcasts and finally had a chance to use them for tickets to our local NHL arena. Easy interface, quick ticket delivery. I think their algorithm for best seats may need some work. But was easy enough to navigate.

Have a great opportunity to watch the Brewers when we visit family in SF. I choose SeatGeek over other ticket sites because I know by the colored circle which seats in the sections I prefer are the best deal. The filters let me quickly get the tickets I want with options for delivery very convenient. Got 5th row bleacher seats at a great price... thanks!

I was attending a yung gravy concert and as I was reaching the check in point for my tickets, seatgeek never sent my tickets to me. I had tried to call customer service and never got through. Luckily the theater was extremely helpful to get me my tickets for the meet + greets. Now I'm going to try to get my 400$ back and we will see how that is.

I purchased Hockey Playoff Tickets for a Game 7 of the Pittsburgh Penguins versus the New York Rangers. The series ended in 5 games. I have been working trying to get a refund of my tickets with no assistance or help from seatgeek. My Visa company has also launched an investigation as they claim that MY visa will not accept the refund of my ticket money. This is untrue. It has been a total nightmare. I am thrown around from one place to the next... I have had to deal with SeatGeek, Ticketnetwork, and MYTICKETTRACKER. Just keep getting the run around. I am still working with the investigation through my Visa to get my money back. Bottom line, do not use them. No event is worth this hassle.

Colleen, thank you so much for sharing this with us and we are so sorry that this has been your experience. We have very strict agreements with the vendors who list tickets on our site and it is so disappointing to hear that you're being let down here. Please let us know how we can work with you to help get this resolved by emailing us (and referencing this post) at hi@seatgeek.com
Bought Tickets for a Blue Jays game the day of. Website said tickets would be available in time for the game. When we get there, tickets not available, chatted with support on my phone, the website is poorly written and we kept getting disconnected, chatted with 3 different people. Called, first person said they'll open up a ticket and call me back. Called a second time, was on the phone with them for half an hour until they said they couldn't do any thing and offered me a refund. So I spent 2 hours outside the stadium to not get in. Wouldn't ever use them again.

Very easy, user friendly app. No hidden fees which is better than StubHub, Ticketmaster, etc. would be nice to earn credit for buying so many tickets or at least a coupon for so much off. Easy to guide through and very user friendly.

Decided last minute to go to a Jays game here in Toronto, and was able to find great seats for a good price on Seat Geek. We have used this site a lot over this past summer, and will continue to do so!

Love that you can pick tickets in just about any section of any row for any event you want... Only thing I would change is give the ticket Seller the option of taking offers on his tickets as well as a set price.

I have really enjoyed the ease of accessing events with your app. I did purchase baseball tickets for the wrong day however and it set me back roughly $130. It was my fault entirely, but if the UI had asked for date confirmation prior to the payment I would have caught it. Apart from that i have enjoyed using SeatGeek and sharing tickets with friends and family with ease.

Hi Jared,
Really glad you have enjoyed using our platform. Sorry to hear about the accidental purchase. Appreciate you taking the time to provide this feedback, I will pass it to our development team. We are always looking for ways to improve our service and make it the best we possibly can for you!
Warm Regards,
SeatGeek CX Team
Seatgeek is an amazing sight. Compare prices and different parts in any venue and the seats are color coded to highlight those seats there were a good deal versus those that are not. Its easy to use and the tickets come right away.

Purchase a VIP package for a lot of money what we received was a joke I wish I could add pictures it was a huggy and a plain black backpack and a little speaker that said budget speaker this is new tour merchandise for this companies VIP package? Also, the private food and drink was at a restaurant with a tab and the seats were horrible. BTW. Cost over 3000

Awful customer service and they don't give a 24 hr window for a refund. They give you a promo code credit to use in a year which is USELESS if you don't have the opportunity to travel or attend another concert elsewhere, plus it's only one-time use. Next time I'll just buy my tickets from Ticketmaster or Vivid seats like I normally do. I got burned for trying something different.

Pass it up and find a better site

Purchased tickets for Red Sox's game. Never got the tickets with a bar code which you need for entry. I sent a screenshot showing them there was no bar code. Went back and forth with their chat—(no phone number to call) they said I would get the bar code before the game. Never got it so I asked for credit to my credit card and they said they would not refund the credit card. Their guarantee is very misleading. Would NOT recommend Seatgeek.

Purchase tickets on SeatGeek Warriors vs Trailblazers@ Oracle Arena. Get to the gate and was told to go print out the actual ticket because the system is not accepting the barcode. After finding a FedEx to print out the paper tickets, we are now told the Barcode is invalid. Basically the tickets were fraud. I paid approximately $750 for two tickets. SeatGeek has yet to respond to my call or email. This was college spring break trip for my son. All I want is my ticket refund amount.

Hi! Thank you so much your feedback and I'm so glad we had the opportunity to get in touch and resolve this for you. We sincerely apologize that you encountered this issue. If you ever need anything else please feel free to reach out to us at hi@seatgeek.com.
I purchased much better seats than where I ended up, and after my credit card was charged, while awaiting my ticket details, was notified that the seats were sold to someone else AFTER I had purchased them. Ended up in worse seats for more money. My experience has been that SeatGeek is way less reliable than Stubhub. I will not recommend (or use) your product going forward.

Bought tickets to a Broadway Show back in January. Just received a note today (five days before the event) that the tickets are wheelchair accessible which was not mentioned online when I bought the tickets or when I received the invoice. Of course they are offering me a refund or an exchange for TWICE the price for tickets in the same section and the same row. I thought they would exchange the tickets for what I paid... no way. I have bought many tickets from them in the past without issue but I won't be anymore. Buyer beware!

Please don't use seat geek. I made a $297 purchase for a concert and my money was never refunded and I was never issued the tickets. They have no live customer service that you can actually speak to all they do is tell you the money was refunded back to you and it never shows up in your account. So if you need tickets to a event please go elsewhere to save you the hassle of losing your money they will tell you the refund was processed and it will not show up in your account. If you don't like losing money please don't use their service
Tip for consumers:
If you don’t want to lose your money which they will not refund you don’t use this company please

Received excellent service from Seat Geek. I thought I had purchased 4 day passes to a Jazz festival but only received one day passes. I contacted Seat Geek and they quickly responded and said a mistake had been made on their part. I was offered a full refund or a 50% refund and keep the tickets (which put the price in line). I opted for the full refund and received it within 2 days. I highly recommend this company and would not hesitate using them again.

Good first: - Fast buying option with no waiting for your turn. - Good and easy Seat selection- Nice and quick Customer Support Respond.
Bad: I was charged $125 fees for $400 Ticket. They buy Tickets from Ticketmaster, if I knew that I would go and buy direct from Ticketmaster myself to avoid fees. - You don't get ticket until 24/h before the event.
* SeatGeek attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond

Hi Mire,
Truly sorry for any frustration regarding selling fees. Please note, selling fee's are included in ticket prices all across the Live Entertainment Industry. However, some companies include the pricing in their price without showing it upfront. Here at SeatGeek, we pride ourselves with being super transparent, which is why we have the option on the order page to look at prices with or without fees.
We're glad that you were able to enjoy your game. We tried reaching out to you directly back in March, but didn't receive a response. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to reach out to us at hi@seatgeek.com.
Stay Safe,
CX Team at SeatGeek
This was my first 2 purchased items. I like the service it is close to my experience with flash seats. The only down fall to the app is you have to select if buying with all fees included or not all fees should just be included that makes for easier transaction.

SeatGeek is the Web's largest event ticket search engine. Discover events you love, search all ticket sites, see seat locations and get the best deals on tickets.
Hi Ulises,
Hope you are doing well and thank you for sharing your experience with our platform.
It is not our intention to ever mislead you about the need to use our platform to get parking for events. Our platform is a secondary ticket market meaning sellers have the freedom to set prices based on availability and what they feel the tickets are worth. In this case there were still parking passes available at the event but there was a chance that there would not be.
As for using a mobile phone, many venues are moving to mobile only ticketing. This means that tickets are only able to be scanned off of a mobile device. To be safe about places with bad reception we encourage people to take screen shots of their tickets they can pull up.
