While purchasing tickets for Cabaret on Broadway, I accidentally purchased tics for the wrong date (had 2 windows open!). I immediately realized my mistake, found a customer service phone number and called. I explained what happened to 'Kate', and was told that it may be possible to exchange tickets for the date I actually wanted. About 4 hours later I received a call back with a confirmation that the exchange had gone through and that my new tics were available on the app. I know that SeatGeek policy is that all purchases are final, but because these tics were a few months out they were able to assist. I appreciated the customer service.
I purchased tickets from Seat Geek to Sabrina Carpenter two months prior to the show. I received the tickets via email and added them to my Ticketmaster account. Three hours prior to the concert I got a notification from Ticketmaster that the tickets were invalid. Seat Geek customer service was useless and we were unable to attend the show. I've now spent 18 days communicating with seat geek via email and phone in which I'm continually told their team is working on it. I'm out over $700 and this company has made no attempts to refund me despite their buyer guarantee. Horribly incompetent customer service, would never trust to buy from them again.
Waste of time to buy from these geeks. I tried to buy John Mayer tickets from them and they sell the tickets through another website "uberseats". Their promise is tickets delivered in 1 business day. Never received the tickets or answers to my emails and I tried for 3 days. I would never try them again.

I purchased a ticket for the tour championship and bought the wrong date. In less then 5 minutes I saw my mistake and called. I was told all sales are final can they couldn't switch the date. I wasn't asking for a refund only to change the date when I ask to speak to a supervisor they refused. When I insisted they told me there was no need that she would tell me the same thing. I will never use this site again and I suggest anyone that does do so at there on risk..

I love using seat geek i just feel they can be a little better if they really want to be the next big ticket distributor. They promote it on David's Dobriks videos all the time but each time I buy tickets i can't locate the promo code bar they should make that more accessible. But besides that its awesome and super easy to buy tickets. My debt card is linked to the seat geek app so its as easy as one click buy. Some venues tho should be more favorable to seat geek, i went to a music festival where they didn't want to scan my tickets on my phone so i had leave the front of the line to go to the ticket booth and print out my tickets there. It wasn't a bad experience it was just annoying.

I purchased my ticket on seatgeek for the Guns n Roses concert in L. A. The day of the concert I received an email at 8 am from seatgeek. The email was to remind me about the ticket and that I can download the app to present my ticket at the gate. I was driving from out of town and arrived around noon in Hollywood. I checked my email and 30 minutes later after the first email about my ticket being ready for use, at 8:30 am I received the email saying my ticket was not valid due to a double sale. The email also stated I would receive a 100% refund and an extra 50% to make up for any trouble it caused. It was a huge inconvenience luckily tickets were still available. The most upsetting thing about all this is I never received my refund. I got scammed out of my money! This is the first and last time I use this company.

I would give negative stars if I could! The night before our event, which we paid just over $6k for, we still hadn't received the tickets. So I messaged SeatGeek and after having to message 3 different techs was told our seller is no longer giving us the tickets. We were NEVER notified prior to me having to reach out! We had to take time off work, we traveled 5+ hours, just for the event. It was the worst business transaction ever. They wouldn't find us replacement tickets and even said you can find your own when you get your refund (3-5 days later-after the event took place). I recommend people to NEVER use or trust SeatGeek.

I ordered two tickets to American Utopia a week and a day before the event. I never received the confirmation e-mail and went on a hellish odyssey trying to get my tickets that involved 9 e-mails requesting support and over eight hours on chat with support and i FINALLY got my tickets today. The day of the event. I have NEVER in all my days and I got to a LOT of events been so frustrated with a secondary source. DO yourself a favor. Don't use them.
Tip for consumers:
Don;'t . You HAVE to use their phone app that is glitchy and there's NO customer service number. Literally no one to talk to on the day of the show. Save yourself the stress.

I bought tickets to Broadway show. Will be hopefully using them tonight.

I ordered tickets for a concert and 30 minutes after I got an email saying the tickets were sold already and that I had to find new ones. When I went back in to order new tickets the section I was looking at was sold out. It also wouldn't let me use my coupon anyone because the tickets I "bought" at first used the coupon code and it wouldn't let me use the same code again so I lost $20.

Seet Geek is my go to for any tickets, so easy and quick and somehow always the least expensive. I appreciate the updates. I wish the tickets came in earlier but they always still get delivered before the event.

If I could give less than 1 star I would... After 2 months of not receiving my tickets, I bought tickets elsewhere. Trying to get a refund is impossible, they send email after email, that talk about codes and discount codes that you may be able to get? It makes absolutely no sense. After about 5 hours of combined time invested, I've decided to go the bad review route... You will NEVER get someone on the phone, and the only reason they started emailing back to me (2 months later) was because I started a dispute claim with Chase bank credit card.
SeatGeek has the worst customer service!
STAY AWAY!
EVEN IF YOU HAVE TO PAY MORE!

I recently ordered a number of tickets to Marlins and Rays games. I thought the ordering process was easy and straight-forward with being able to select seats in different available areas. I ordered through SeatGeek as it was easier than ordering through the actual team websites. My only negative comment is: I don't like the different dates when tickets are available to access. Of the 10 tickets I ordered I believe I am still waiting for 3 tickets to become available and the others were available on various dates. I know a lot of it has to do with the seller of the tickets and emails from SG notify the seller the dates the tickets are available for printing or downloading; but I am not the most patient of people. Another positive is that SG provides plenty of emails to let the customer know what's going on. Generally a very positive experience.

Driving two hours to go to the game and I get an email from SeatGeek saying the game is cancelled so I return to my hotel. 30 minutes later SeatGeek emails me again and says the event is not cancelled so I go to the event but am late arriving. After Seat Geek realized their error They offered me a refund to make up for the error. Thanks seat geek

Hey David, thanks for reaching out on this! Wires getting crossed like this is extremely rare at SeatGeek, and we certainly never want to cause an inconvenience to our customers! That said, it looks like we've processed a 100% refund for your tickets as a result of this error, so we hope this has helped address any trouble you've gone through as a result of a miscommunication. If you do have any concerns still, please let us know and we'll be happy to discuss it with you.

Money was taken from my account when trying to purchase tickets. In app, put in my card information and was ready to pay, hit the last purchase button and the load back page said an error occurred. No big deal. Except it had already withdrawn the 179 DOLLARS from my bank account! No email conformation and nothing in the app showing I purchased said tickets. Yet they took my money -.- WTF!
Customer support? Oh that's right they don't have any. Suspecious. Finally spoke to "someone" on live chat and was told it would be refunded in 48 hours... why can they take money so easily, for literally no reason now, but can't return it immediately. Thiefs!

I have never had a problem with the tickets I have purchased through Seat Geek. I have bought Broadway tickets in NYC twice among other things and they have always been good. I have gotten good deals on these tickets as well.

Purchased 4 baseball tickets for Astros vs Yankees. Wasn't sure if we were going so we tried selling then decided to go. Well weren't able to get through the gates. I spoke to Customer service and they wanted a bit more info which we sent and they were going to investigate. Never heard from seatgeek again. I've called and emailed them and haven't heard from them regarding incident. This is ridiculous and im out like $500 now.

I had Seat Geek and StubHub open in separate windows to compare pricing for my tickets. Firstly, I liked that Seat Geek gives you the option to view the seats with fees. Secondly, even if the seats had been a few dollars more, I would have went with Seat Geek as the interface, especially the map, was more intuitive and responsive. I was able to use the map to zoom into the exact seats available. I don't think that can be done on StubHub. If it can, it wasn't as easy.

Very disappointed and felt deceived by the way the their website post the seating arrangements. Now, I am stuck trying to resolve the problem between SeatGeek an 3rd party ticket broker. I am willing to pay more for a better ticket that I was made to believe I was getting but unable to contact anyone at SeatGeek.

I purchased 2 Orlando Magic game tickets for Dec. 23 at 7pm so my little brother could go to a game. It is 8:05pm on the same day and im writing this review because the tickets I purchased for $172.00 DID NOT work. We were directed to Guest services and they could do nothing for us since Seat Geek is a 3rd party. I am very sad and ashamed that in this day and age you are not able to get what you paid for. Anyone looking to buy tickets for anything, buy they from the venue directly. Never go through a site that does not deal with the venue directly or else you will end up like me at home and robbed.

Hi Sean! Thank you for letting us know about your experience and we apologize that it was a negative one. All tickets sold by vendors on SeatGeek have a full money-back guarantee, so if your tickets were not valid at the gate, you must be refunded by the vendor. We'd love it if you'd get in touch with us at hi@seatgeek.com so we can make things right. We work hard to take good care of our customers, so if there's anything we can do to resolve this issue, please contact us!
I bought four tickets to the AFC championship game which is now canceled because the Titans lost. I had a promise of a refund if The game did not happen with the titans, but now they just issue a credit for me to use in the next 365 days or it's lost.
Don't use them, it's just a shell game.

It took more than 15 min to confirm the purchase of the tickets even been listed as instant download. It that was really inconvenient since I bought last minute tickets. It was for a tenemos match and due to the delay I missed part of It.
Date of experience: September 8, 2017
Hi Virginia, thanks for reaching out about this, and we apologize for the delay here. For more context, when orders are submitted, they go into a brief pending stage to allow the seller to check and ensure they can fulfill the order as it was placed. While usually pretty quick, it can take a bit longer for last-minute orders as higher volumes of order requests come through for the same listings. We're always working to make sure all of our listings are as up-to-date as possible and any given time, and to increase the time in which sellers confirm or reject orders, and we appreciate any and all feedback about our users' experiences!
If you have any questions or would like to speak to someone on our support team directly about this situation, please feel free to reach out any time between 10am-11pm EST, 7 days a week!

She went the extra mile for me, making feel like I'm a customer not just a number. I thought after the incident I wouldn't shop at SeatGeek but she made me think twice. I'm glad she was on the other side of the phone with me.

I ordered 4 tickets to a Texas Rangers' game in the all-you-can eat section per seatgeeks website. I didn't eat all day because I was expecting to eat at the game, I paid $30 for parking, and went in. Imagine my surprise when the tickets weren't for the all-you-can eat section and I ended up having to spend over $50 on food at the ballpark to feed the people I brought!

I would give a lower rating if possible. Went online before 5A to find tickets for a Blackhawks game. Selected the tickets, paid for the tickets, all good - I'm supposed to be able to download the tickets from my account and print them. Later I get an email the tickets are no longer available and that they are sorry but they still charged my credit card $596. Then I went to their site and the tickets that were 'unavailable' are STILL listed. What a waste of time. Now I have to begin the process all over again. Note: They make it difficult if not impossible to contact them if you have an issue.
Tip for consumers:
Find another service.
