While purchasing tickets for Cabaret on Broadway, I accidentally purchased tics for the wrong date (had 2 windows open!). I immediately realized my mistake, found a customer service phone number and called. I explained what happened to 'Kate', and was told that it may be possible to exchange tickets for the date I actually wanted. About 4 hours later I received a call back with a confirmation that the exchange had gone through and that my new tics were available on the app. I know that SeatGeek policy is that all purchases are final, but because these tics were a few months out they were able to assist. I appreciated the customer service.
Bought football game tickets for the Eagles and Rams yesterday (11/24/24), tickets were sent and available in my seat geek app. We get to the stadium and the tickets are invalid. We talk to box office and someone has already used the tickets earlier so we're SOL. We waste the entire first quarter waiting in line to resolve the issue and the first half chatting with customer service. I contacted seat geek and they say they'll investigate but it'll take 5 days. Completely unacceptable. Because we'd traveled and were already at the stadium, we bought separate tickets at the box office but the only ones left were at the very top row in a corner section. What was supposed to be a fun night at the game turned into a nightmare and the entire night was ruined. Buying with seat geek is not worth the risk, you could end up out of money with no tickets.
Quick and easy! Loved my seats and couldn't beat the price, will most definitely be making all my purchases for further games through SeatGeek! Would highly recommend to everyone

I was able to secure last minute tickets for a great price without using scalpers! I know I can utilize this method especially when the event isn't at capacity.

Buying tickets is incredibly easy. Like tinder, just takes a few swioes and you're done! Wish it was as easy to sell though. Loading info for payouts takes forever.

Ordered tickets to a basketball game, incredible seats for an incredible price. Not only did i find seats no other website had available but i also saved about $100.

Easy to use app. Prices are very reasonable and fair. Excellent selection of events. Having been using this app for about twelve months and will continue to do so!

I can always find good seats on the site, usually at a reasonable price. The thing that stings is the processing fee for each ticket. That adds up quick.

Website is easy to use and the prices are much better than the "official" tournament website for purchasing tickets. Tickets delivered by email within 2 minutes of my purchase.

Tickets were easy to buy with an exact view of the seats. Tickets arrived extremely quickly and were easy to use on my phone. The entire family had a blast at the game! We will use this app again!

I purchased tickets for $140 each to what was advertised as "Goo Goo Dolls in Concert". After purchasing I received the tickets via email which is then where I discovered that it was a Christmas Concert being held by a radio station. When I looked into the website of the radio station I then found that tickets 3 rows CLOSER than my seats were listed as $33 with fees! I emailed seat geek explaining the situation and how they had falsely advertised the concert and have marked up the tickets outrageously and just received a generic email stating they do not do refunds. DO NOT USE SEAT GEEK TO PURCHASE YOUR TICKETS! THEY ARE MISLEADING, FALSE ADVERTISE AND HAVE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Bought 5 Tix to an Islanders game at Barclays Center. Simple. User Friendly. Convenient. I have used in the past and noticed the improvements. I highly recommend SeatGeek

Do not use this service. It is likely a scam, and their customer service is poor.
I ordered two tickets for a concert in Brooklyn last weekend. I was contacted shortly thereafter letting me know the seller had already sold the tickets I purchased, but that they could offer me an 'upgrade' to another section at no additional cost. I consented, and printed the tickets they sent.
My partner and I went to the venue, waited in a security line for half an hour, and got to the front. They scanned our tickets and let us know the tickets had ALREADY BEEN USED. I waited in line at the venue for another 30 minutes to be told to contact the seller.
I then spent 20 minutes waiting for a representative to answer the phone. The representative didn't even apologize when I told him of the issue initially. He then put me on hold again, and called back to say the seller could give me different tickets ('they know these will work'). At this point it was an hour into the concert. I was frustrated, so he put me on hold again and then offered a 150% refund. I was tired of arguing, and just accepted it. It's not even about the money - it's about the principle and the lost experience I had (I was so excited for this concert!).
I feel completely cheated by this company - their response to the matter made me feel like it happened all the time, and I will let everyone I know about this experience.

Thank you, Matt, for letting us know what happened at the concert. We can't apologize enough about the issues you had. Please know that we hold all of our sellers to high standards, and any time we have reports of sellers not providing valid tickets, we do a thorough investigation and they're penalized accordingly. It also affects our decision regarding whether we allow sellers to continue listing inventory on our site, and we appreciate our users bringing these issues to our attention so we can ensure they're handled properly.
Every individual at SeatGeek is more than aware of the frustration and sensitivity that comes with a purchase for tickets to an event--whether it be a concert, a baseball game, a play--and we know how devastating it can be when users get to the gate and are denied entry. Our number one goal is always to do whatever we can to get the user into the event, with refunds being only a last resort in the case that replacement tickets are no longer available at the time the issue occurs. It does sound like the representative secured some replacements tickets, albeit they were also invalid. While we're constantly putting policies and practices in place that we believe will enhance the security of tickets sold on our site, invalid tickets are a very unfortunate, but very real, aspect of the secondary ticket market due to the natural volatility of the industry, and is precisely why the refund policy is in place. We know that's not an excuse, but please know that improving the experience overall is a priority for SeatGeek as a whole, and mastering the ability to ensure security of tickets is and always has been a top priority.
If you don't feel as though the issue was handled appropriately, or if you'd like to follow-up with us about your experience directly with any additional concerns or questions, please reach back out to us at (hi@seatgeek.com) so we can at the least shed some more light on the situation. Again, we apologize for the negative experience. Please let us know if there's anything else we can answer or look into for you.
Tickets were scheduled to arrive 2 days after game. Fanex worked with us to convert the tickets to mobile. Was very confusing and took an hour. Will not use seat geeks going forward, unreliable

Hi Jim, thanks for letting us know about this, and we're really sorry for the trouble! We take all complaints about any of the vendors we work with seriously, and if we see a trend with any single seller, it could lead to our partnership ending with them.
With that being said, it looks like this order for hard-stock tickets was purchased the Thursday prior to a Sunday event, which is likely what caused the issue here. We're happy to see that FanXchange was able to get the tickets re-issued and delivered electronically to ensure you received them on time!
If you have further questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team directly.

I purchase NBA tickets and the day before the game the seller recalled/canceled the tickets. I reached out to SeatGeek customer support multi times for a refund to only get an automatic default email. After several weeks with no reasonable response from SeatGeek, I had to file a complaint to the BBB. Nearly 3 months later, I got a refund.

Never do business with SeatGeek. We bought tickets nearly two months in advance to a venue. The tickets we printed and handed to the ticket scanner had been used four minutes earlier to gain access to the venue, making our SeatGeek tickets NO GOOD. The venue gave me the names of the original purchasers. What do you wanna bet SeatGeek claims the original purchasers resold the same tickets to more than one buyer? Some SeatGeek tickets to another venue?! No thanks. #SEATGEEKSCAMMERS

Please reach out to us at support@seatgeek.com or call us at 888.506-4101 and we will be happy to make sure this is resolved for you.
Tried to use a promo code, wasn't accepted, not sure why, first time using seat geek since having a bad experience with them, traveling to go to this event, hope it all works out

Just purchased two NFL club seats at a remarkably low price and the transaction was effortless. I especially appreciate the ability to know what the service charge is prior to purchasing the tickets.

I found the app off of Flemlo's YouTube channel (good for sports fans). But I love checking out seats even if I dont go. Easy to buy and check out seats. Not really gonna find better prices either!

That was a concert 2.5 hours away that I bought tickets for through seatgeek, as a present for my daughter. When I purchased the tickets, I got the confirmation from the seller that I would receive the tickets. 24 hours prior to the concert I had not received the tickets. I contacted seatgeek's customer service and they said all they could do was contact the seller. The day of the concert I still did not have the tickets. After spending 6 hours on the phone where I was put on hold for 60 minutes and then hung up on multiple times when I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was finally given an answer to the situation that there were never any tickets and they would refund me my money. Not only did it cause major anxiety and stress, I also had to inform my daughter that we would not be going to a concert for her birthday, less than 3 hours before it started. I was given a refund for the tickets and that is all. Nothing else to compensate me or my daughter for the stress and trauma they caused. Not to mention that I was never allowed to talk with a supervisor because they were in a "meeting" all day. If they had informed me prior to the day of the concert, when I called, I would have been able to purchase other tickets, but the day of, they were all sold out.
Tip for consumers:
Don't use it. Use another site.

Due to the hurricane, homes were evacuated, flooding was occurring, highways were closed. The concert was postponed to a later date (4 days after the original date), and these issues were still taking place due to Hurricane Florence. I had spoken with seat geek customer service atleast 20 times in the few days leading up to the concert and they were all unwilling to refund my tickets, due to a 3rd party agreement. Seat geek does not offer insurance on tickets nor refunds for any tickets unless 1) the event gets cancelled 2) the original seller agrees to refund. I feel as though seat geek is ultimately responsible for making this call, after all their name is what appears on my credit card bill and they refuse to give seller information. I was out $526 due to a Natural Disaster. I attempted to resell these tickets at a lower cost through their website, but with people still being displaced, no offers were given. I will NEVER use Seat Geek ever again or refer them for the many concerts I do go to.

Hi Brandi,
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave us this feedback. When events are postponed or rescheduled--especially due to weather, as in the case with Hurricane Florence-- the original tickets are most often good for the new date, too. If the box office at the venue isn’t offering refunds, though, SeatGeek and our vendors won’t be able to refund your tickets either. Sometimes, too, if the seller has bought their tickets in bulk, they aren't able to claim refunds on some tickets in their order (folks who don't want to attend the rescheduled game) and keep others (folks who do want to attend), so they have no choice but to keep all the valid tickets, and cannot offer refunds for a postponed game.
As it sounds like your conversations with our reps reflected, if you can’t make the reschedule date, your best bet is usually reselling the tickets. We're sorry that this clearly wasn't the option you were looking for, and we know that the extreme weather on the east coast this September really complicated a lot of people's plans. This was definitely an extreme and very rare circumstance that has called into question our terms of service which we do, in almost all cases, really need to stick to. While re-selling is successfully for most of our customers who can't make it to the game for which they'd purchased tickets, we're really sorry that the weather conditions made this more difficult for you. We hope you understand that with the MLB's decisions regarding game play, postponement, and refunds regarding extreme weather events being out of our hands, we really do our best to serve both our customers and our sellers fairly, honestly, and as helpfully as possible.

I ordered wheelchair seats to a Padres playoff game. SeatGeek sent me the wrong seats (they were NOT in the wheelchair row), so I returned the seats and was able to successfully purchase wheelchair seats one section over to the same game. When the game was cancelled, instead of giving me a FULL REFUND to my credit card (which they are required to by California law), they said that since I'd used the promo code from the first transaction to buy the second set of seats that I was not eligible for a cash refund. I spent 2 weeks and over 8 hours speaking with customer service via chat and on the phone. I still do not have a refund. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

SeatGeek is the Web's largest event ticket search engine. Discover events you love, search all ticket sites, see seat locations and get the best deals on tickets.
Hey Jess,
Just as a point of clarification, the tickets you got are indeed for the Goo Goo Dolls. The radio station promoting the event is doing it as part of their annual Holiday Celebration, but the Goo Goo Dolls are the headlining act and are performing a full set. So the tickets you got are in fact for them, we have them listed that way also as it helps those looking for the artist to know the artist that is headlining.
As for the price, we are a secondary ticket market. We are not the primary ticket seller for this event, so the prices are set by those selling on our site. At times these prices will be more then the box office as was the case here, other times you can find deals below the box office. It generally depends on event demand. We also can't control if the primary ticket seller still has tickets or releases more, so it's always advised to check them prior to making a purchase on the secondary marketplace.
Warm Regards,
SeatGeek CX Team
