While purchasing tickets for Cabaret on Broadway, I accidentally purchased tics for the wrong date (had 2 windows open!). I immediately realized my mistake, found a customer service phone number and called. I explained what happened to 'Kate', and was told that it may be possible to exchange tickets for the date I actually wanted. About 4 hours later I received a call back with a confirmation that the exchange had gone through and that my new tics were available on the app. I know that SeatGeek policy is that all purchases are final, but because these tics were a few months out they were able to assist. I appreciated the customer service.
Bought football game tickets for the Eagles and Rams yesterday (11/24/24), tickets were sent and available in my seat geek app. We get to the stadium and the tickets are invalid. We talk to box office and someone has already used the tickets earlier so we're SOL. We waste the entire first quarter waiting in line to resolve the issue and the first half chatting with customer service. I contacted seat geek and they say they'll investigate but it'll take 5 days. Completely unacceptable. Because we'd traveled and were already at the stadium, we bought separate tickets at the box office but the only ones left were at the very top row in a corner section. What was supposed to be a fun night at the game turned into a nightmare and the entire night was ruined. Buying with seat geek is not worth the risk, you could end up out of money with no tickets.
Bought tickets to Dear Evan Hansen. Arrived at the theatre with tickets which I'd printed as I left home (three hours earlier). Manager said they were likely fraudulent when they failed scanning as we checked into theatre. I spent ten minutes on the phone with Seat Geek to try and understand what to do, manager at the theatre finally helped me get valid printed tickets. Seat Geek did nothing and won't even refund their fee - in their view we saw the show, why am I complaining? The 10 min panicking and negotiating with theatre manager is not what you expect when you spend $1500 on tickets.
The agent finally called me as the curtain was going up to tell me the tickets had been reissued... as the tickets aren't electronic and need to be printed... not sure how that was going to happen in the lobby of the theatre. Luckily manager had already helped us... no thanks to SeatGeek.
Two rounds of writing to their support center asking to refund fees - be clear not asking for refund on tickets themselves, as we did see the show. The fee is to give you access to valid tickets and instead I had a humiliating ten minutes, I'm pretty confident that is not a normal part of the seat geek experience.
Stick with StubHub at least they have a physical site near broadway if something goes wrong.

Great way to get tickets. Website is easily navigated and my tickets have never disappointed. I really like the color codes that help me get the best deal.

Nonstop "sorry, those tickets are no longer available" and "a network error occured" when trying to buy tickets. I feel like I got lucky in securing half-decent tickets.

Whenever I need tickets, SeatGeek is the only place I look. Never been let down. The rating system has been spot on. Definitely preferred over other ticket agencies.

No email link for my ticket. I made two orders three days apart. I still haven't received the first ticket ordered. And the game is tomorrow. Not Happy.

I have used StubHub for years with ZERO problems, and this is the first time I've used SeatGeek. I purchased a ticket for Motley Crue for a few hundred dollars and when I get to the entrance of the Staples Center arena I get turned away which was humiliating and the box office said it was a cancelled ticket due to TICKET FRAUD. This isn't a bs "ticket aggregator" thing either. The SeatGeek logo was next to the ticket listing and also appeared as "SeatGeek" on my account. How is this company even allowed to operate? I will NEVER use this scam company again. I'm yet another story in a very long line of people who've had an experience ruined. Never trust this company!

Hi Richard, we're sorry you had a negative experience and we'd love the opportunity to make this right. It looks like you purchased tickets through the SeatGeek Marketplace and we have strict guarantees to protect our customers. Please contact us at hi@seatgeek.com so that we can resolve this issue for you!
I clicked on 2 "Row 4" seats for a Golden State Warriors game, but "Row 4" became Row 15 in the purchase. Not sure when the switch happened... but I won't do business with them again.

I bought 5 tickets showing $14 each but when I paid for them, it added $7.40 per ticket after I checked out. The website is not honest with the actual final price. Not recommended this website.

Hey Emhurst,
It sounds like you were searching for tickets with the fees not included in the price. So your tickets were $14 each prior to fees, the additional cost you are mentioning is the delivery and service fees. In the future if you want to avoid the sticker shock at checkout you can toggle our platform to show the prices of tickets with the fees included.
Warm Regards,
SeatGeek CX Team
Bought my ticket 5 hours before the game, got it in less than 2 hours! I was especially impressed with the price and the quick response. The 10% topped it off too! Thank you seat geek

Apart from having to create a login for a separate, third-party ticket vendor in order to complete my purchase, this was all very quick and convenient. Wound up with good seats at a very good price.

We have exchange students who love to see sporting events while they are here. It can be expensive, but with Seat Geek we can afford to take the kids to a few events each year. Thanks

We were looking for a Christmas gift for my mother-in-law. The site is easy to use and find tickets for events. It just stinks when you get to the checkout and pay another $20 in fees.
Date of experience: November 27, 2019
Hey There,
We do understand that fees can be the least favorite part of the ticket buying experience. We do need these fees to employ our team and continue to improve our platform.
That said we try to make buying more transparent by allowing you to search with fees included. If you toggle this on you will see the total cost with all fees and have no sticker shock at checkout. Furthermore, if you find tickets cheaper on another site, we will price match. Just let us know and we will issue a promo for 110% the difference to assure we have the best deal for you!
Warm Regards,
SeatGeek CX Team
I scored three last minute tickets to see the Nationals for 11 bucks TOTAL! Face value was $27 *each*, and they came with email PDFs instantly, plus I was able to just scan the app on my phone to get in.

Bought a pair of floor official platinum tickets for NCT127's upcoming LA show ( i'm a bit inexperienced so didn't know at the time that these were basically ticketmaster's way of scamming) and decided to resale them to get even better ones. I found a great pair on seatgeek for a super good price in comparison to resale on ticketmaster! Initially I was really worried about the ticket delivery, since the site said they'd be transferred around October 1st ( just a few days before the show) and I had read reviews from people who never ended up getting their tickets :(( However I took the chance and right after I made the purchase both tickets were ready + are currently waiting in my ticketmaster account :D So pleased with the entire experience and cannot wait to see one of my favorite artists up close and personal <3 Thank you seatgeek!

I purchased 2 tickets for my wife and I to see Kenny Chesney on 4/18 in Arlington, Tx. Roughly three weeks ago, Kenny publicly stated he was cancelling all of his events for 2020. I have asked for a refund from Seatgeek, and they have repeatedly stated that his concert is merely postponed. That, for that reason, they don't need to, or aren't willing to refund.
Its Coronavirus for heavens sake. People are dying in the streets, but Seatgeek wants to hold onto your money instead of doing the right thing, and automatically refunding.

Hi Robert,
Thank you for your feedback. Our buyer guarantee ensures that customers will be able to get a refund if their event has been cancelled. If an event is rescheduled customers may use their tickets for the new date or re-sell them to recoup their funds.
In this instance, the event this customer purchased tickets for has been postponed, with a reschedule date of 8/7/2021 at 5:00pm CDT. If the venue does cancel the event completely, the customer will be able to contacted about her refund options.
Venues are still making determinations as to whether to cancel or reschedule their events, and we will uphold our buyer guarantee once we have final confirmation of their decision.
Best,
CX Team at SeatGeek
Every time time I buy tickets I get them quick and they are at a good price. Seat geek is always my go to website for my special outings with my husband

Bought a tickets to see Alter Bridge in Destin, Florida, one from TicketWeb (official seller) & one from Seat Geek (after sell out). When Covid-19 hit the show was initially postponed then cancelled. TW fully refunded my money but SG continues to insist that they show is only postponed. I have provided documentation from TW and the band that the show is cancelled but SG will not refund my money. Do not trust them.

Purchased two tickets close to the field for $20 cheaper than directly from the team's store. Easy, cheap, and allows me to easily see the best deals with the color coding system.

Terrible terrible service! Do not use. (I don't want to give any stars but have to in order to give my review.) I bought tickets several months ago for a game as a present for our twin boys. We also also had to arrange for transportation and hotel so we put a lot of money into this for the game. They say the venue won't release the tickets until the day before for security but it really is just a scam. The morning before the event we get a notice saying our tickets are no longer available so we can have a refund (which is usually just credit, not money back) or we can accept other tickets, which were not as good, but we would not receive the difference in cost. Having already paid for the hotel and transportation, not to mention two disappointed kids, I really didn't have too much of a choice. SeatGeek told me I accepted their terms. Really? I agreed to being scammed us out of $500 and bad seats? The day before the event? Very bad business practice. I will never use again and I will definitely make sure I tell others not to use their services ever as well.

Hi Cy, thank you for sharing your experience. I apologize that we weren't able to confirm that order for you. It looks like you may've been seeing a pending authorization hold that automatically falls off of your account and does not become a charge. I assure you that you would only be charged if a confirmed order was placed. If you do not see this hold fall off of your account please contact us immediately at hi@seatgeek.com so that we can provide further support.
Great value for my tickets, but I needed to buy a total of seven but could only buy 6 because the choices were 2 or 4. So four of us will be together and the others will be separated.

SeatGeek is the Web's largest event ticket search engine. Discover events you love, search all ticket sites, see seat locations and get the best deals on tickets.
Hi Million B!
Thanks so much for bringing this to our attention here. We looked into this order and our records show that these tickets were sent to you on 8/14, the same day as your purchase. It also looks like we never heard from you directly on this either, so we were never apprised of an issue. Hopefully this means that you found the ticket transfer in your e-mail inbox in time for the game, and all is well! If not, though, please feel free to reach out to us at any of our contact channels below, so we can see what happened here and do whatever we can to help take care of you.
Please let us know!
