While purchasing tickets for Cabaret on Broadway, I accidentally purchased tics for the wrong date (had 2 windows open!). I immediately realized my mistake, found a customer service phone number and called. I explained what happened to 'Kate', and was told that it may be possible to exchange tickets for the date I actually wanted. About 4 hours later I received a call back with a confirmation that the exchange had gone through and that my new tics were available on the app. I know that SeatGeek policy is that all purchases are final, but because these tics were a few months out they were able to assist. I appreciated the customer service.
Bought football game tickets for the Eagles and Rams yesterday (11/24/24), tickets were sent and available in my seat geek app. We get to the stadium and the tickets are invalid. We talk to box office and someone has already used the tickets earlier so we're SOL. We waste the entire first quarter waiting in line to resolve the issue and the first half chatting with customer service. I contacted seat geek and they say they'll investigate but it'll take 5 days. Completely unacceptable. Because we'd traveled and were already at the stadium, we bought separate tickets at the box office but the only ones left were at the very top row in a corner section. What was supposed to be a fun night at the game turned into a nightmare and the entire night was ruined. Buying with seat geek is not worth the risk, you could end up out of money with no tickets.
I recently used SeatGeek for an NC State Basketball game. I bought the tickets the day of the game. The process was very easy and stress free. Would definitely use again.

I bought Super Bowl LIII tickets from SeatGeek and wanted to sell them AT FACE VALUE from the SeatGeek website as they lead you to believe that you can. The first smack in the face was that you could not resell Super Bowl tickets on SeatGeek. The second smack in the face was that you could not pick up your own tickets until the day before the event. The third smack in the face was that you could not be given your section or seat number until further notice. In other words, you're screwed. One customer service representative actually expressed empathy for the situation while another, in so many words said, 'we got our money so you are SOL. This information is clearly posted on a site separate from where you purchased your tickets.' I say technically correct, BUT THE WRONG THING TO DO! Needless to say, I will NEVER, EVER purchase tickets from SeatGeek again. And I will go out of my way to share my miserable experience with SeatGeek with anyone who cares to listen until the day I die.

Like the fact I can show prices with fees, or without, depending on what I am looking for. Also like the detail you can zoom into for row and seat numbers

Found out U2 was playing in a city I was in for work travel and decided to go on a whim! Finding the best deal was easy! Purchasing tickets was straightforward.

Great seats for the Lion King! Affordable! Thank you of a once in a Life time experience. It was the first for my family to attend a Broadway show in NYC.

I will not go anywhere else to buy tickets. From the seat selection to the checkout process, including accepting promo codes, this is the website to use for secondary market tickets
Date of experience: May 22, 2018
It was just ok
The quantity of tickets were sort of assumed and had to go through an extra step of figuring out why it was assuming multiple tickets are required

This is the worst place to buy tickets from, the costumer service is really bad, won't solve a problem at all. Only bad experiences with them so do yourself a favor and go buy somewhere else.

I thought the whole deal was that there were no fees and that ticket price was as advertised but my last purchase i had processing fees. Not the end of the world but a broken promise none the less

Hey Alexandros, thanks for sharing your feedback with us!
Like most ticket marketplaces, SeatGeek does need to have fees. We’re really sorry if that wasn’t communicated clearly to you, and if there was someplace you were specifically told we didn’t have fees, we’d like to know where so that we can make sure the right information is out there!
Our fees can vary based on the seller, but are usually a single 20% fee on the entire transaction (no hiding fees by charging some to the seller, some to the buyer, etc.) We find that this amount is pretty standard for the industry, and also just about right for supporting all the great services that we think make SeatGeek the best ticket experience out there.
That said, if you’re someone that wants to know what you’re paying right off the bat, we absolutely support that. If you’re using our website, there’s a dropdown on the top-left of each event page that you can change to say “Prices with fees”, and you won’t be caught by surprise ever again. This option is on the iOS and Android app too - from any event page, just click “Filters” and toggle the “Show prices with fees included” option.
I hope this helps to clear things up. We hope your experience with us has been otherwise smooth, and if there’s anything else you feel we should be doing to improve our offerings, please don’t hesitate to let us know!

I checked three other sites and SeatGeek had the best pricing for the same seats. Service was great and fast. I will always use SeatGeek from now on when searching around for NBA tickets.

I bought 2 tickets to see Garth Brooks in Seattle for $800. The concert was rescheduled at first and they would not refund the money as they said I could use the tickets in the future. I explained I am 5 months pregnant and can not wait for a future date and just wanted my refund. I have a screen shot from when I bought my tickets that I could get a redund up to 72 hours before the concert no questions asked. This is also a lie and false advertising. Garth ended up cancelling the tour and I asked for my refund once again now that there was no future show. They said I could have a promo credit. Um NO. I entered into a business and legal transaction with this company by giving them money for the product of two Garth Brooks tickets. They no longer have that product and need to give me my money back, a credit does not work and is theft and fraud. It is fraud because I only gave the company money in exchange for specific tickets and they are keeping that money without giving me a product. I am interested in a class action law suite and am filing a complaint with my credit card company and the BBB.

Do not use Seatgeek under any circumstances. They are a pathetic excuse for a ticket vendor. Never in my life have I had to deal with a more disorganized business than Seatgeek. They told my tickets could 'not be fulfilled' 2 hours before the concert. I had bought these tickets two months before and they waited until 60 minutes before the show to let me know my tickets were no good. Only after I had to call because I didn't know where my tickets were after paying them nearly $400. They said they would refund me 120% percent. A month has gone by and I still have not received my full refund. They just explained that they did not record my paypal email correctly therefore they could not send me the refund. This is simply a lie, I made them reread me paypal email back to me a month ago so that they wouldn't have an excuse to screw me over again. But they found a way! Now I have to wait another 20 days for the refund to 'process'. This company is a joke. Any 4 or 5 star reviews you read were probably written by bots. Please just use Stubhub and save yourself the months of headaches. A scalper outside a run down ballpark has more integrity and intelligence than the muppets at this company. How hard can it be to buy and sell tickets?!

I believe that there needs to be a way to check the tickets by price. Maybe I missed it, but once you see a price, you can see on the seat map where those seats are.
But overall a good experience.

I really like the fact that it's easy to buy tickets, and from the app I can just scan the code where I'm going to get in my event. I also like that they have really good prices for good seats.

Purchased Devils tickets The process was very easy and they got all my seats together I think the eight dollar fee is a little ridiculous because they're all eat tickets

Reading all the negative reviews got me worried about purchasing tickets for the May 8th, 2016 Blues Jays game but I took a chance since the price was good and prepared myself for something going wrong the day of the game. However, SeatGeek DID NOT DISSAPPOINT! The tickets were exactly what I purchased minus all the service fees of the other guys. I plan to purchase Blue Jay tickets for a game in 2 weeks using them!

I bought 2 seats and 4 seats in the same row. The 2 seat purchase came right away but 3 days later and the 4 are not here yet. Hoping to receive before I travel tomorrow.

SeatGeek makes significant misrepresentations on their website. Buyer-Beware! SeatGeek solicits by representations on their website that you can "purchase with confidence, because your purchase is completely refundable through 48 hours before the event". I tried refunding my tickets within 24 hours after purchasing them ($750.08). They refused to refund my purchase. They offered that the best they could do was to allow me a credit towards future purchases that I make on SeatGeek; and the credit was only good for one year. After that, I lose my funds. They are dishonest, they make representations which are untrue.
Plus, SeatGeek's "Fees" are exorbitant. They charged me a $49.52 fee for each ticket ticket (4 tickets), total Fees were $198.08. That is 35.88% of the ticket price on each ticket. The only reason I finalized my purchase was because their website says that I can purchase with confidence, my purchase is totally refundable.
I went onto Evenbrite's website and purchased tickets for seats right next to the seats I had just purchased through SeatGeek, and the total purchase price (all fees included) was $287.52. That is $462.56 less than I paid on SeatGeek. SeatGeek's total price was 162.16% of what I was able to purchase the same tickets on Eventbrite.
I will never purchase tickets through SeatGeek, and neither should you!

I had 2 tickets to a Red Sox - Tigers game that I listed for sale very early the morning of the game. Shortly thereafter, I received confirmation that the tickets had been listed. I changed the price a few times within the first couple hours, and received confirmation via email each time. Everything seems OK right? Nope...
I later went to the buying screen for the game and noticed that my tickets weren't listed (no green/yellow/red dot above the seats). I emailed customer service about this issue immediately. About two hours later - now only 4 hours before the game - seatgeek emails me back and explains that their system had a "parsing issue", and as a result my tickets had not EVER been visible online for people to buy. They said they fixed it and if i listed them again it would work. Again, by this time it's close to game time and ticket prices have dropped precipitously.
So essentially they made me agree not to sell them via any other online platform, failed to list the tickets on their site (despite confirmations to me that they had been listed), and only partially resolved the issue with mere hours before the game started.
Customer service-wise, they are even worse. When I tried calling to explain the issue, the associates couldn't follow what the issue was. Poorly trained and setup to fail. Not to mention I was hung up on once by a "manager". They have also failed to call me back multiple times after promising to call back within 24 hours. Don't even waste your time with these jerks.
Tip for consumers:
Do not use it

First and foremost, we want to apologize for this. While we do our best to make sure the system parses ticket information and maps it correctly within a venue, there are some venues (Fenway Park especially) that are laid out with significantly more complexity, and this can sometimes result in the ticket being mapped incorrectly. Please know that our team is constantly working to improve the mapping abilities for these venues. If you'd like us to continue looking into this, please let us know. Send us an email to hi@seatgeek.com and we'll make sure to answer all of your questions!
I really like Seat Geek for Nationals tickets. I know exactly what i'm paying for when looking for tickets. And the actually on line purchase is easy.

Found tickets to the game the night before. Loaded them up as I was walking to the stadium from the hotel room. Never missed a beat waiting for anything of looking for them.

Easy, great seats, no extra fees! Great prices! Seat geek is my go to place for tickets. Tickets sent to my app, no issues with many events this year at a great savings!

Your representative photos from the seats are not at all representative. Many seats have obstructed views and it's unfortunate that you refuse to let the buyer know the exact seats prior to purchase.
Date of experience: May 30, 2019
The photos we use show an estimated view from the section, to hopefully give an idea. We don't have photos from each individual row and seat for many stadiums at this time.
I completely understand the frustrations with getting seats that have some form of obstructed view. It is something our team is working on for these older stadiums. The stadiums themselves do not consider these seats to be obstructed, so they don't put that information on the tickets. Without the information on the ticket and the stadium not treating those seats as obstructed views, we don't have the information to provide that on our site.
Warm Regards,
SeatGeek CX Team
Probably my fault but purchased 2 more tickets than I needed. So I am wondering what I can do. How hard is it to sell the other 2 tickets? Can you do anything?
Date of experience: July 13, 2019
Hey There!
So generally if you end up with tickets you don't need or want anymore the easiest thing to do is sell them. You can do that simply by logging into the app, if they are e-tickets, and clicking the sell button. This will let you set the price and list them for sale.
That said, if this was in error we can sometimes find a resolution and refund one of the orders. I will reach out to you directly and we can find a resolution that works best for you!
Warm Regards,
SeatGeek CX Team
Decided to go to a MBA game last minute. Was able to check the available prices and even see the available seats on the map. Made ordering tickets super easy

Hi Sunil,
Thank you for reaching out. Truly sorry for any initial confusion with the ticketing purchasing process. Kindly note, here at SeatGeek we're a marketplace, so there are many sellers/partners who seller through our site. I see that you were looking for a quantity of 7 days. In order to narrow it down, you'd have to select the 'quantity' option about the ticket option in the main bar.
Again, sorry for any confusion. If you have anymore questions regarding the buying process, feel free to reach out to us anytime at hi@seatgeek.com.
Stay Safe,
CX Team at SeatGeek
