While purchasing tickets for Cabaret on Broadway, I accidentally purchased tics for the wrong date (had 2 windows open!). I immediately realized my mistake, found a customer service phone number and called. I explained what happened to 'Kate', and was told that it may be possible to exchange tickets for the date I actually wanted. About 4 hours later I received a call back with a confirmation that the exchange had gone through and that my new tics were available on the app. I know that SeatGeek policy is that all purchases are final, but because these tics were a few months out they were able to assist. I appreciated the customer service.
Bought football game tickets for the Eagles and Rams yesterday (11/24/24), tickets were sent and available in my seat geek app. We get to the stadium and the tickets are invalid. We talk to box office and someone has already used the tickets earlier so we're SOL. We waste the entire first quarter waiting in line to resolve the issue and the first half chatting with customer service. I contacted seat geek and they say they'll investigate but it'll take 5 days. Completely unacceptable. Because we'd traveled and were already at the stadium, we bought separate tickets at the box office but the only ones left were at the very top row in a corner section. What was supposed to be a fun night at the game turned into a nightmare and the entire night was ruined. Buying with seat geek is not worth the risk, you could end up out of money with no tickets.
I have used SeatGeek a couple of times and it is easy to use and find a great deal on tickets. This last time, I purchased tickets and had them on my phone, ready to use in minutes.

I was sold duplicate tickets for last Saturdays hockey venue. I was rejected at entrance. Apparently those tickets were sold multiple times. I no longer have confidence in this company.

Need to be able to filter by a tier/group of sections rather than one section at a time. IE, "all club level seats" or "all lower level end zone seats"

Liked the "good deal" ratings and the variety of seats, that is easy to interface with. But I wish the total price of the seats, w/delivery & fees were included.

I bought through seat geek and they took my money and then told me that the tix would come to me a few days prior to the Hall and Oats concert in Laughlin on October 22 2022. Well they said that they did transfer the tickets but I never got them and now they are saying they can not re issue new tickets to me. So I have been on hold for about 45 minutes waiting for a manager to speak to and still holding. No one in this organization is from the US so very hard to understand. They make you do a chat for the first 2-3 times you contact them then they finally provide a number to call. But they still send you in circles asking me to go to Ticketmaster to retrieve the tickets I bought through them. It is looking like I may not get my tickets and would lose out on the event I have been waiting since Covid hit to go to. They are even saying they won't give me my money back but will instead give me credit for a future event.! What a racket! I am reporting them and if you guys are looking for a class action lawsuit please count me in. I am livid! Absolutely disgusting company
Tip for consumers:
Go straight to the venue don’t use seat geek

Purchased tickets in one section and was given tickets in another section. Called and waited on hold for two and a half hours and was told all sales were final. The customer representative suggested I sell the tickets on their service and then buy new ones. ONE AND DONE! THIS COMPANY IS NO GOOD!

The extra cost to download tickets to my phone is way to much offer a less service fee would be nice sometimes vivid is cheaper sometimes the fees are about the same for the ticket

I purchased 4 tickets for the queen city outdoor hockey game in Charlotte North Carolina through SeatGeek. When I purchased them through their site, the only tickets that were available were in sections 124 and 125 but they had no warning or limitation placed on them and they charged a premium of $115 a ticket plus their $41 service charge. The event was last night and our seats were horrible. We were more than 75 yards away from the rink. It was literally impossible to see any action on the ice because of the distance and the construction and location of the rink within Knights Stadium. The the section was so low you could not see over the sideboards to the rink so you were unable to see any of the lower body of the players or the puck on the ice. Also on that side of the rink, both of the teams benches were placed there so the players added to the already obstructed view. We recognize that seatgeek had nothing to do with the construction, but they agreed to sell the tickets at a premium yet offered no warning that the seats had an obstructed view and in reality useless because you were so disconnected from the game and no view to enjoy the experience. If the seats were to be sold, then they should have priced them more reasonably and allowed consumers to understand that they were not in close proximity to the rink and faced an obstructed view. We paid nearly $700 for four seats as well as many of the other fans in that area, and within 10 minutes of sitting in the seats, virtually, everyone left, and moved to higher ground on the walkways of the arena, and had to stand the entire time to be able to view the game. I have contacted seatgeek to let them know of our dissatisfaction and asked for at least a partial refund, but have not received a response. Ticket buyers need to be mindful when dealing with this service that they're not upfront with providing you with all of the information you need to make an informed decision before you spend your hard earned money for an event. For all intense and purposes the tickets were worthless.

SeatGeek is not upfront and honest about refunds. I bought some tickets for the TSO Christmas concert for my parents and I as a Christmas gift but had to return them because plans changed and they were concerned being around so many ppl with omnicron. Before buying the tickets SeatGeek said that you could return tickets up to 72 hours before the event. This is the reason I initially went with SeatGeek. I thought if we had to cancel, they'd make it easy. But nope.
I ended up trying to cancel a week, week and a half before the event and the process has been a nightmare-or at least very unpleasant and stressful. It's a lot of money for me to waste at my age.
I am only now finding out that I probably won't be getting a refund back on my card but a "promo code" I never go to concerts so this is a complete waste of money. SeatGeek does not look out for their customers.
I honestly am not one to write reviews good or bad, but this event has made me so incredibly frustrated and stressed. I am now realizing that I am now losing nearly $300 down the drain. I'm just a broke college student who was just trying to give their parents a fun Christmas gift.
It's been about 2 weeks of me calling and emailing SeatGeek. They are not easy to get ahold of nor do they make it easy for you to refund your tickets. I won't use SeatGeek again and am not sure what I'm going to do with this "promo code" refund thing, IF I ever even get that. Lesson learned for me I guess.

My seats for the cardinals game were directly behind the foul pole. My wife and I were miserable the entire game. Not once was there mention of obstruction of view. Terrible experience.

I ordered tickets to the Tennessee and Kentucky in a month advance when they were some what cheap and they proceed to seek my tickets to someone else for double the price

Ordered the tickets last minute and still got amazing seats and a killer deal!
For sure recommend utilizing the app as you can easily use the app to show your tickets and even GPS to the venue.

Prices are good when compared to other apps. Its easy to pick seats and the view we get of our seats is good. The green dots on the sections are very helpful.

The game was fun but $120 in fees is insane. 500+ bucks to take myself, my son and father to a game is repulsive. The fees were a huge turnoff. Will look for alternatives in the future

In July, my husband and I bought 4 tickets for the Pittsburgh Steelers vs. New York Giants game in Pittsburgh. We drove 5 hours, got a hotel, and spent Saturday night and Sunday in Pittsburgh. We arrived to the gate only to find our tickets were not good and we could not get into the game. The tickets had cost us right around $600. We called SeatGeek and they did provide replacement tickets, which I am happy about, but the fact remains that the tickets were not good and SeatGeek knew this. The replacement tickets we received were of lesser value than our original tickets, we were not offered to receive the difference back. Also, when we called to get the replacement tickets it only took giving our order number for the seats to be replaced; this tells me that SeatGeek was aware there was an issue with the seats prior to the game, but we were not contacted to change seats or given the opportunity to cancel. After this experience I will not use SeatGeek because after more closely reading the terms and conditions, SeatGeek does not guarantee the tickets.

Found fees for purchasing tickets high. No other problems with my experience during the purchase of these tickets. Was able to print tickets with no problem.

The seats were good and reasonably priced. Service fees were fair and tickets were easy to print. Better prices for similar seats as other ticket vendors.

Hi Ray,
Truly sorry for any frustration regarding selling fees. Please note, selling fee's are included in ticket prices all across the Live Entertainment Industry. However, some companies include the pricing in their price without showing it upfront. Here at SeatGeek, we pride ourselves with being super transparent, which is why we have the option on the order page to look at prices with or without fees.
We're glad that you were able to enjoy your game. If you have any questions at all, please feel free to reach out to us at hi@seatgeek.com and we'll take care of you.
Stay Safe,
CX Team at SeatGeek
