While purchasing tickets for Cabaret on Broadway, I accidentally purchased tics for the wrong date (had 2 windows open!). I immediately realized my mistake, found a customer service phone number and called. I explained what happened to 'Kate', and was told that it may be possible to exchange tickets for the date I actually wanted. About 4 hours later I received a call back with a confirmation that the exchange had gone through and that my new tics were available on the app. I know that SeatGeek policy is that all purchases are final, but because these tics were a few months out they were able to assist. I appreciated the customer service.
I purchased tickets from Seat Geek to Sabrina Carpenter two months prior to the show. I received the tickets via email and added them to my Ticketmaster account. Three hours prior to the concert I got a notification from Ticketmaster that the tickets were invalid. Seat Geek customer service was useless and we were unable to attend the show. I've now spent 18 days communicating with seat geek via email and phone in which I'm continually told their team is working on it. I'm out over $700 and this company has made no attempts to refund me despite their buyer guarantee. Horribly incompetent customer service, would never trust to buy from them again.
I recommend to go with any other provider for your tickets than SeatGeek! Even the agent on the phone said "you have much more Felixibility with Seathub and we don't offer refounds and there nothing our office does to help customers since we are the secondary holder for all the tickets" what kind of bull$#*! is that? So basically you $#*! yourself over if you purchase from SeatGeek. I asked the agent if I was able to speak to a manager regarding my concerns and he said no. I said I have used SeatGeek in past and I was looking forward to be a customer because of my on resolved issue I was going to discontinue to be a customer and they didn't even care. In the past I have purchased tickets and I had been content until this event that I ran into problems with the event being delayed 3 times and now it is to be determined. My friends have already resounded their tickets in the meantime I spoke 7 agents spend hours of wasted times. Thanks for treating your customer like $#*!. SeatGeak! I will never purchase from this place again. The agent were unhelpful and rude.

I ordered two tickets to a venue from Seat Geek (owned and operated by Ticketmaster@$799 per ticket plus a 20% handling fee. My order was charged to my credit card. I received an invoice along with the QR codes for the two seats. Three days later I receive an email stating the seats are no longer valid and asking for my PayPal email address to process a refund. I ordered using my Visa credit card and do not have a PayPal account. After making multiple attempts to find a customer service phone number on the internet I finally reached an agent that was polite and courteous but kept talking in circles when asked about what happened with the tickets. She wanted to roll my monies paid into an American Express gift card so that I could repurchase the tickets. She said American Express is the sponsor of the performance and that's how it had to be processed. Feeling very uncomfortable about how she wanted to transact this matter I told her I'd like to think the matter through. The next day I call back (ironically the same agent answers) and ask to talk to a supervisor. I'm promptly connected with a person that says he is the supervisor. I asked him about this transaction and he kept saying something about me not having purchased the insurance is why they would have to transact in that unusual manner. I have no idea why that would even enter into the discussion. I asked more than once for a logical explanation as to why I lost my purchased tickets. I only kept getting answers that were going around in circles. I finally raised my voice in frustration to which the supervisor hung up on me.
The exact tickets are relisted on Ticketmaster now for $999 each before handling charges. It is very obvious that whoever listed them did not fulfill the rules and regulations set by Seat Geek/Ticketmaster which clearly states that sellers are forbidden to cancel an order with a buyer once purchased in order to relist at a higher price. Well that's exactly what transpired and yet Seat Geek/Ticketmaster did nothing to assist in the matter. BUYER BEWARE with this operation as they clearly set rules and regulations but do not follow or enforce them.

NET: DO NOT ASSOCIATE YOURSELF WITH SEAT GEEK!
I ordered 4 tickets to an NHL game on 12/9 (Game is in January). First issue was due to some glitch, the fees (which were outrageous - over 30%) did not show up until after the order was accepted. I immediately contacted their customer service support and they said all sales are final. I explained to them that the sale had not even been fulfilled yet (I had not received my tickets), so they said they would investigate.
In the meantime, I finally received my tickets and they were in a different row than what I ordered. I again contacted customer support to get an update on my cancellation as well as explain to them that the tickets I ordered were NOT what was sent to me. They referred me to their company policy that says they can fulfill tickets within 5 rows of what you ordered.
I once again escalated within their customer support organization, but unfortunately no one ever responded (3 different customer support individuals known as Kurt S, James, and Adriana all promised to get back to me and none of them did).
I am now going down the path of putting a stop on my credit card and showing the bank all the screen shots I took of my order, tickets delivered and the 3 customer support chat sessions.
Ticketmaster has similar tickets to the same game, cheaper price and way cheaper fees that are clearly shown.
Tip for consumers:
DO NOT USE SEAT GEEK!

Bought Dallas Cowboy tickets and received in the mail. On game day, the bar code on the ticket wouldn't scan at the entry. They allowed us to go in and escorted us to ticket disputes. We found out that the duplicate tickets were scan already by another couple and they were in our seats. The original owner had sold the tickets twice. Once on seatgeek and then on NFL resale tickets website. We had the original tickets where the other people had printed Ticketmaster tickets for the same seats. We were told that the original ticket holder had sold them on the NFL resale website as well and that the tickets purchased on the NFL resale site took precedence over any other third party ticket resaler. So they got the seats and we were left without tickets after purchasing them from seatgeek for $700. Now we are trying to get seatgeek to refund us the money which they won't do until they can get their money from the original ticket owner. Note that we bought round trip airline tickets and hotel expensive to travel to Dallas for the game that didn't happen. Don't buy tickets from Geekseats ever again!

Bought the best 2 seats for the greatest NFL game at the Colloseum Rams Chiefs game. And I bought it 2 days before the game, $105 a seat. Seat preview was exactly as advertised.

I love having the opportunity to use Seat Geek as a quick and painless option to purchase tickets and to have the tickets right at my fingertips when I need them.

I bought 3 tickets way in advance to a sold out show on Memorial weekend. Obviously, did not want to wait until the day of to find out whether or not the tickets would arrive. This was my first time using SeatGeek and I was really worried since I put down a lot of money for the tickets.
I had contacted SeatGeek way in advance to ask questions like "if this will be delivered as an e-ticket, why would it take so long to get delivered?" and worse, "Why do I have an email and SeatGeek confirmation that my order of 3 tickets were delivered, but only two tickets are showing for download?"
SeatGeek/Customer Support was really helpful and responded to me within 24hours (way quicker than I expected based off of the reviews). Luckily, they found out that the pdf uploader on their end messed up and they emailed me the full delivery of 3 tickets.
If this hadn't worked out I actually would have been leaving an awful review, but the show was amazing - front row and no issues upon arrival. And I'm extremely happy that the SeatGeek Staff/Customer Support never left me hanging.
It might have been helpful that I had purchased from a "SeatGeek" Vendor and not another vendor through SeatGeek such as ticketcity or razorgator etc. I felt that Customer Support had more obligation to help me with issues or concerns since as a consumer from their seller/vendor, I would fall under their jurisdiction and not that of the other sites.
Tip for consumers:
Try to buy from a SeatGeek Vendor

I ran into an issue (not with THIS purchase) where some fees were STILL hidden. I love "the GEEK" and will continue to use it. But I've learned to watch for pitfalls.

Hi Neil,
All of our fees should be upfront at checkout, or if you search with fees included show while you are still making your selection!
So glad that you love our platform, but we want to make sure it's the absolute best for you. I am going to send you a private message in addition to this reply and see if we can get that resolved for you!
Warm Regards,
SeatGeek CX Team

Hi Juan, thanks for letting us know about this experience you had with one of our vendor partners. We take all of these complaints incredibly seriously, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention so we can conduct an investigation regarding what happened with these tickets. We know this is the worst sort of experience a buyer can have with their tickets, and we're really sorry this happened. If you have any questions, or had any trouble getting in touch with the seller when you'd encountered the issue, please reach out directly to our support team so we can see what we can do to help.

When I finally got my ticket and needed to accept it, I had to make maybe five accounts just to be able to accept it and until maybe an hour of time wasted it finally worked and the crazy thing is I still don't know why. But some of my friends weren't as lucky. For one of my friends it didn't work at all so we finally resorted to just calling up 212-Yankees (we were supposed to go to a Yankees baseball game) and after waiting on hold and speaking to an imbecile representative we were told nothing could be done we have to speak to seatgeek. So that's what we did and we were on the phone with dare I say the stupidest representative ever because possibly seatgeek might've hired someone stupider than him. We spoke to him for over an hour and a half and had enough of his repetitive reply of "that is the best I can do" or "that's your best option right now" we demanded to speak to a supervisor but to no avail we were transferred to an even stupider and ruder representative who even hung up on our faces. We ended up buying tickets direct from the Yankees Box Office which were cheaper and for about the same seats. So basically no seatgeek is not useful and I was extremely unsatissfied and this wasn't even the whole story this was the best I can do to sunmarize while pouring out all my anger and frustration in a matter of minutes

My SeatGeek account was hacked and someone took my $600 football game tickets. When I contacted SeatGeek they said there was nothing they could do and to contact my bank. My bank said that based on SeatGeeks' terms and conditions they were not able to refund me and told me to call SeatGeek back. I have spoken to 6 different representatives, all of which tell me a totally different story as to why I can't get a refund, and the last person I spoke with said they would get me a manager, which never happened. Here I am 48 hours later waiting to get a call because apparently the managers "don't have their own extension" just to retell my situation for the 7th time. That is a LOT of money that I lost thanks to this website and to no surprise they won't take accountability for their actions. It is absolutely RIDICULOUS that I have to go to such extreme measures when this website is the one at fault for not having proper security measures for their customers. I will never purchase anything from them again and will be posting this review on every site possible to ensure that anyone considering using this site turns away. If you are looking to buy tickets, use Ticketmaster and save yourself the struggle and time of dealing with such a sketchy company.
Tip for consumers:
TURN AWAY AND DON'T USE THIS SITE

Pretty easy to order online on computer but didn't realize one must have the APP to download tickets AND that tickets could not be printed. Only the OCR/barcode is acceptable.

Dealing with Fanxchange is a nightmare. I bought bad tickets and they will not refund any money. It makes me not want to use seat geek in the future.

Hi Kevin, thanks for letting us know about the poor experience you've had with one of our vendor partners. We take these complaints very seriously, and have reached out to them directly to get to the bottom of what occurred with this order. While FanXchange will be the one to process any sort of appropriate refund for your experience, we absolutely want to make sure to be of any help possible when users aren't provided the support they're entitled to through a vendor. Please email us with information regarding what occurred, and we'll be sure this is taken care of.

Hi Delma,
We are so sorry to hear about this horrible experience and can only imagine how frustrating and disappointing it was to have traveled all the way to the game only to be turned away! We take many measures to prevent fraud, and there's nothing we hate more than finding out that these measures failed.
It sounds like you've already reached out to us to start your refund process. While we'd love to refund you immediately, since we do not process payments ourselves we unfortunately have no way to refund your card directly, which is why we recommend having the seller process the refund for you. Hopefully your refund is on its way to you by now, but if you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us at hi@seatgeek.com! We'll do everything we can to advocate for you to the seller and make sure that you're made whole as soon as possible.
