While purchasing tickets for Cabaret on Broadway, I accidentally purchased tics for the wrong date (had 2 windows open!). I immediately realized my mistake, found a customer service phone number and called. I explained what happened to 'Kate', and was told that it may be possible to exchange tickets for the date I actually wanted. About 4 hours later I received a call back with a confirmation that the exchange had gone through and that my new tics were available on the app. I know that SeatGeek policy is that all purchases are final, but because these tics were a few months out they were able to assist. I appreciated the customer service.
I purchased tickets from Seat Geek to Sabrina Carpenter two months prior to the show. I received the tickets via email and added them to my Ticketmaster account. Three hours prior to the concert I got a notification from Ticketmaster that the tickets were invalid. Seat Geek customer service was useless and we were unable to attend the show. I've now spent 18 days communicating with seat geek via email and phone in which I'm continually told their team is working on it. I'm out over $700 and this company has made no attempts to refund me despite their buyer guarantee. Horribly incompetent customer service, would never trust to buy from them again.
I bought 2 tickets for a comedy show in Chicago and upon arriving the tickets are invalid at the door. Seeking more help at the box office it turns out they were sold multiple times in the seatgeek app so they were never even mine to begin with. $180 spent for tickets that were sold multiple times. Awful app and service. Do not use.
Tip for consumers:
Do not use - first time using and the tickets were invalid and being sold multiple times. It seems there was no verification from the app for this.

I purchased two tickets to the Charlotte Hornets v Milwaukee Bucks game. After reading the negative reviews I grew unsettled, thinking my tickets were bogus, lacking validity. I contacted SeatGeek customer service with my concern only to find my representative (Andrew) to be responsive, gracious, and he guaranteed that my entrance into the game would be seamless. He was right. We had great seats and a wonderful time. I'm sorry that everyone is having a difficult time with SeatGeek but I had a fabulous experience.

I used SeatGeek to buy rodeo/concert tickets for Houston to see Chris Stapleton. Price was good bought the. Early. Then out of no where my money was refunded with no explanation. Took forever to get a rep on the phone. They said that the tickets were no longer available and the refunded my money. I had family coming from out of town, hotels and flights booked for this event. Now the show is sold out and can't go the rodeo without a concert ticket. Rep was less than helpful and said there was nothing she could do. Acted as though the refund made it better. I never received an email from them about it it either. Just a notice from my bank that my money had been refunded. I'll NEVER use them again. My sister who is coming from out of town said she had the same issue but with Cubs baseball tickets.
Tip for consumers:
I would not recommend SeatGeek

I listed tickets for an NFL game at over $300 and Seatgeek sold them for $15. I will never use this site again to list tickets. Spoke to their customer service and they said there was nothing they could do to help me. And the game is not for another 2 months, why would I have gone down so drastically.

I've bought from Seat Geek before and never had a problem. This time I bought 2 tickets in the upper balcony and paid close to $300 for them only to find out AFTER that they were obstructed view seats! I can't even get a refund! They were third party sent to Ticketmaster and I was told only the original buyer could get a refund. He's got my money now and I'll never be able to find him. This should have been posted on the site. That they were obstructed view seats. Now I won't be able to see anything and if I don't go, I'm out $300 and a concert I've been waiting to see. I hope the seller (name Kane) is very happy... Karma my friend, Karma.

Our seats to the play Hamilton were horrible. A large pillar was right in front of us. Seats were rated as excellent deal. Paid over $450 apiece. Seat obstruction was not printed on the tickets or any of the paperwork. Get your ratings correct.

Never again. We paid $80 for Dodgers tickets and drove through LA traffic on my friend's birthday to find out that our tickets didn't scan through. The ticket office told us that multiple people had come to them with the same name. We were out $20 for parking, $80 for tickets and wasted a night, missed the big game, and ruined the birthday. They do not have good security against fraud. Stick with stubhub.

Run away from this company run! They are the absolute worst. Paid for my tickets 18 months ago still don't have them or any idea when I will see my tickets. Zero customer service. The event has been rescheduled 4 times now! The venue has changed as well as the line up. The official ticket distributor for this venue has allowed refunds multiple times but not seatgeek. Stay Away! Will NEVER order anything from them again.

Designed to trick you into buying tickets before telling you about 65 percent service fees. I have reported them to the fraud department at my credit card. They have no ethics, conscience or integrity. Don't make the mistake I did.

Tickets were not from an authorized reseller, they did not work. Venue had to make an exception to let us in, wasted $50 dollars. Unacceptable, I go to a lot of shows, sports events and I've never had this issue.

They are not very helpful during this pandemic. They do not respond to any inquiries. My tickets for an NBA game is postponed indefinitely. Who buys tickets without setting a date and time for them? We don't even live in the state the game was to happen, so what I can do with these tickets is useless. I wish I used Ticketmaster.

This was a frustrating experience. Tickets went on sale at Noon and it was crazy trying to lock down seats. It felt like every time I would click on a certain number of seats the very next moment those seats are gone. I know this is part of the demand, but if there's anyway to make this process a little less hectic than that would be nice.

They sold me undisclosed obstructive view tickets for ALCS game despite website stating any tickets with obstructive or limited view must be disclosed as such. After several online chats and finally speaking with a live person (very difficult) I was refused a refund or credit even though they sold me fraudulent tickets. We could not even see the game being played yet they said All Sales Final. Their website acts like they are legitimate but they cannot be a legitimate company and I'm disappointed in MLB for referring people to SeatGeek. It's a baseball game, when you cannot see the pitcher, batter, catcher then you are not experiencing the live game which I paid a lot of $ to attend as a special occasion.
Stay away from SeatGeek!

Few months ago I purchased some tickets on seat geek for the first time, and my only complaint was that I waited for over a week to receive my tickets. I just purchased more tickets for the second time thinking it will also take forever, to my surprise they were in my inbox within an hour, that tells me that they read the reviews and try to correct the issues.

I purchased a very expensive parking pass from seat geek for game 2 of the World Series. I arrive to find out that the lot is full, not only is the lot full but there are several of us trying to use the very expensive parking passes we purchase from seat geek. I hand to find another lot and pay cash. I'm asked for a refund because they sold me an fraudulent parking pass. The best these criminals will do is give me a credit. I don't want a credit, I never want to do business with these fraudulent scumbags again. I should be given a full refund because they sold me a fraudulent parking pass.

I have used Seat Geek for my event tickets for some time now. I haven't had even a single negative experience. They are my go to place for tickets. I like how you can actually see what row you're getting. The prices also seem to be competitive.

I purchased tickets last year and resold them to seatgeek, it's now 2022 and I haven't received my money. Horrible experience, will never purchase from them again. I've called multiple times and spoke to representatives and they first told me your bank is not allowing the refund to come in which was a complete lie due to me contacting my bank. I've also asked to send me a check for the amount owed which is $180, for a huge company with a lot of money I can't believe they wound refund me the money that is rightfully mine. Please go elsewhere to purchase tickets.

My wife and daughter wanting to see the Nutcracker at the last minute it was easy I went to see GI found three open seats and within a few minutes they were on their way! Would recommend it is one of the easiest ticket sites to use

I bought tickets for a concert on the SeatGeek website and felt comfortable under the premise that these were going to be refundable up to three days before the show date. I tried to reach somebody there a few months before the show date to cancel and there is no one available, except for a robot to write to you. In addition, they make it very clear that none of their tickets are refundable. They are only possibly exchangeable for other tickets if to be exchanged within a one year. Otherwise you lose your money. This is deceitful since you are immediately shown a returnable ticket icon when initially booking. Returnable is there a play on words, which is meant to mean exchangeable, but not refundable.
Be warned that this ticket site is a sham.

RATM cancelled their tour on October 4th of this year. No refund was issued so after a couple weeks I contacted SeatGeek. I explained that the debit card used to make the purchase was no longer active but the checking account associated to that card is still active. They claim they attempted to process the refund but it was denied. I contacted my bank who looked into it and said no such attempts were made. After several attempts to move the process forward I realized I was getting run in circles. Finally after several attempts and providing all of the information requested they claimed they would refund the purchase and send it to my PayPal account by December 21st. Well, it's December 21st and still no refund. At this point I most likely will have to take legal action. They are deceptive. They talk in circles. They claim they are escalating things to other departments but don't. They are literally stealing money from hard working people. Avoid them at all costs.

Well i clicked the wrong date for the foo fighters show instead of today for yesterday- we had a 1 hour to get into the city - they would not reverse charges - so we had to go- the show was fantastic but the arrangement of last minute shuffle was no fun
Now i have another ticket which i am trying to sell- but no luck as yet & 2 hrs before showtime

Frustrating experience. I would select a ticket. The system would cycle for minutes and then indicate ticket not available. So many tickets appear available. It took me 20+ minutes to get a non-preferred seat.
Also there should be a message on the site to indicate the process will move faster if the user enters their credit card and phone number in the account settings.

Hi Paul,
Apologies for the initial confusion with the ticketing process! Seems that you were purchasing tickets for a pretty popular event. We're an online marketplace, so tons of orders go through at the same time. As a marketplace, we rely on sellers for certain inventory. Sellers get tons of orders throughout the day and it does take sometime for their inventory to update via the site. If an order went through earlier than yours, this could've been why the tickets weren't available. Truly sorry for any confusion there.
If you have anymore questions, please feel free to reach out to hi@seatgeek.com.
Stay safe,

They charged me immediately for Rangers Orioles tickets tomorrow. They send an email to log on, but no tickets!
Game is tomorrow and I am out $150 for my son's birthday present.
I would go to stub hub but only had that $150 set aside for his present. A special place in hell awaits this group

Hi Brian,
We're so sorry to hear that there was an issue with the Rangers-Orioles tickets you ordered for your sons birthday! Tickets are sometimes delivered day-of, so we hope that they arrived between the time you wrote this review and the game. However, if your tickets weren't delivered in time, we understand how disappointing this must have been for you and your son and would like to make sure it's made right. If you haven't already contacted our customer service team, please email hi@seatgeek.com so we can see to it that you're properly refunded!
I really like seat geek and have been getting the best prices and the seat views are all great. The problem is that there are no details anywhere about what the event is. Thought I was booking a concert but it is a book tour. Obviously my bad for not doing due diligence but I guess I started trusting too much because of all the other positive experiences I've had with seat geek.

Hey Mary,
We are really sorry to hear you ended up with tickets that were obstructed in view, this is something we want to take a look into. Generally if a seat will have limited or obstructed view that needs to be clearly noted on the order. This is something that is required by us for our sellers.
I will be reaching out to your directly to find a resolution for this, we want to make sure that you are taken care of and are able to enjoy the events you want to see. Some venues require different ticketing, which is why this order was sent through Ticketmaster but that does not mean it's not something we can help with.
If you see this before my direct reach out, please contact us at 888.506.4101 or email us at hi@seatgeek.com and we will be happy to assist.
Warm Regards,
SeatGeek CX Team
