While purchasing tickets for Cabaret on Broadway, I accidentally purchased tics for the wrong date (had 2 windows open!). I immediately realized my mistake, found a customer service phone number and called. I explained what happened to 'Kate', and was told that it may be possible to exchange tickets for the date I actually wanted. About 4 hours later I received a call back with a confirmation that the exchange had gone through and that my new tics were available on the app. I know that SeatGeek policy is that all purchases are final, but because these tics were a few months out they were able to assist. I appreciated the customer service.
I purchased tickets from Seat Geek to Sabrina Carpenter two months prior to the show. I received the tickets via email and added them to my Ticketmaster account. Three hours prior to the concert I got a notification from Ticketmaster that the tickets were invalid. Seat Geek customer service was useless and we were unable to attend the show. I've now spent 18 days communicating with seat geek via email and phone in which I'm continually told their team is working on it. I'm out over $700 and this company has made no attempts to refund me despite their buyer guarantee. Horribly incompetent customer service, would never trust to buy from them again.
Misleading pricing I will be reporting to the better business bureau. The person who dropped my tickets off sent very unprofessional text go me when I requested a refund for the misleading information about the tickets and time frame of delivery. I would recommend theses people to anyone its nothing but a scam.

I paid for tickets to a game, thinking I was getting a deal it cost 58.00, then they also charged my credit card 24.67 fees per tickets and an additional delivery fee of 19.00. To top it off they didn't deliver anything I had to drive to the persons house to get them. It cost me more through them than through a regular site like ticket master.
I will never use them or recommend them to anyone.

I've used SG half a dozen times now with no issues with tickets. Fees are reasonable compared to other sites.
I find a big plus is the transparency of the site showing ticket prices with fees included. This saves a lot of time picking a ticket within my budget.
Great experience and I hope to see Seatgeek continue the excellent service.

I gave one start because I could not give a zero. I ordered two tickets to Hadestown, and the tickets never showed up. They said they would call back in two hours but never did. They claimed another email address was on file- one I had never heard of. I verified who I was and the order number, provided a copy of the email they sent me confirming the order and verified my credit card number- they said there was nothing they could do. The credit card company was immediately notified- do not trust them!
Tip for consumers:
Stay away from them- their security is terrible, customer service is no help, and the only resolution I got was having to call my credit card company, which I did.

I love seat geek, they def show the best deals and best prices. But while we are outside of the big game, we literally had to wait up to 10 mins every time to see if our tickets actually went through. After nearly 5 tries, over 45 mins of waiting we finally had tickets. I think the wait time for confirmation is ridiculous and while waiting you don't want to try to get other comets because what if you end up with both?!? Something has to be done about the wait and confirmation time!

Awful customer service. I returned tickets twice and they combined the promo code into one which only allowed me one new purchase. A complete waste of 100 dollars and not even a response from their customer service. Just a link to an article.

But one improvement to consider - the photos showing the view from a particular section are NOT adjusted for the specific seats being sold in that section. I realize this is a tall order, but with todays technology, l imagine this can be done

Bought tickets for Cowboys Giants game for friends. The tickets would not transfer even after installing the SeatGeek app. Our friends had to go to ticket office to have tickets printed. Long story short it took 45 minutes they missed the whole first quarter.
Buy your tickets from other ticket resale sites.
This was a technical ticket nightmare!

Hi Bill,
Thanks so much for sharing that feedback here. We looked into the order number you provided, and you're totally right that there was an issue with that ticket transfer. Technical issues like that are really rare, and we take them super seriously. While of course we're glad that your friends were able to get their tickets from the box office, it's definitely not ideal that they got stuck in a line to get there, and missed part of the game. Our first priority is always to get folks into their event on time and in a good mood, and that it's not okay that this wasn't the case for you and your friends.
That said, we'd really love the chance to win back your trust with us and our site. We've applied a $100 promo code to your account, usable on your next promo eligible purchase with us. (The easiest way to see which tickets are eligible is to filter by selecting "Supports Promo Codes Only” via the app or changing “All Ticket Types” to “Promo Eligible” on the web.) There is of course no pressure to use it-- totally up to you. But we know your experience with us was a negative one, and an outlier, and we want the chance to show you how smoothly things usually go.
Thanks again for your time in writing that feedback. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to our CX team directly.

I like it, except that you can't select more than one purchase at a time. We tried getting two areas of seating for our family so we could sit together on the same row but had to do two separate orders which caused us to lose tickets within the same row. We have a young family with a special needs child so it is important for all of us to be together.

Bought a parking pass for an MLB game on the site. The parking pass would not open. We had to cash park and I finally after a lengthy ordeal got a hold of customer service. Customer service could not open either. They will not give us a refund unless we provide the ticket for cash parking. I explained we did not get a receipt for cash parking but they will not give me a refund of $124 unless I can produce it. I provided tickets to the baseball game but that's not sufficient. This is complete fraud. The fact that my ticket didn't open is not relevant to where or how we parked since the pass they sold us didn't work.
Tip for consumers:
Don’t use. Don’t guarantee like they advertise.

The easiest user-friendly app to buy tickets! Effortless! I say this because after using another app I was burned into thinking I had a ticket and was forced at the last minute to go across the street before gametime and buy a paper ticket on top of being charged by the other online company for the ticket that never appeared. So now I have to call them and try to get my money back

A ticket for an event was purchased and provided by SeatGeek that was not a valid form of entry to the event. Their Buyer Guarantee clearly states "Your tickets will provide valid entry to the event" and "If any of these things do not occur, you will be provided with comparable or better tickets to the event, or offered a refund." SeatGeek was contacted immediately when the ticket arrived and was discovered to not be useable. The wristband came tightened to the point that it is not wearable and the design of the clasp is such that it is impossible to loosen once it is tightened. I waited on hold for a collective 4 hours, was hung up on and given the runaround for one week until they told me they would not offer a refund for their mistake nor provide a valid replacement ticket to the event. This business practice is nothing short of a scam. They do not honor their Buyer Guarantee and do not care about their customers, their time or their money.

Customer service is HORRIBLE! Bought tickets to an event that was canceled. Instead of getting my money back seat geek went the refund route. The amount of the refund was enough to pay for another event and still have a bal. I've been trying to get in contact with an actual person can help me out and explain where the the rest of the refund go and why I can't use the remaining bal credit for another ticket?

I missed three innings of the game in a huge debacle due to not printing out my tickets beforehand (it's 2018 most people don't even own printers anymore). After waiting in a long line only to be rejected I had to go to the ticket box to confirm my tickets who also rejected them and made me walk to a FedEx to print my tickets out. Once I reached the FedEx it took another 20 min just to figure out with help how to print the tickets from a phone. Every time I send the tickets to someone else they had to create their own account just to view the tickets. Very bad UX and extremely frustrating when trying to piece things together. I'll never buy off SeatGeek again.

I gave them one star because 100 pounds of is not available. I bought US Open tickets in May for September 2023. The tickets were never transferred to my account. I was told it will show up and it never did. I asked for a refund and they refused because "the tickets will eventually show up". They never did. My credit card company refunded my money because they understand that if you take someone's money and don't give them the goods they paid for then that is stealing. I will never use SeatGeek again.

Horrible customer service with no accountability. I followed all of the rules and they won't provide me my refund. I have all the emails to prove that I did exactly what they asked. This company is actually stealing from its customers. Unbelievable they can get away with this.

I had a bit of an issue with a double purchase and I was stuck with two sets of four tickets to a game the me xt day. After reading some less than stellar reviews, I relisted the four unwanted tickets back on the site. I now realize that those negative reviews must've came from people that didn't reach out to SeatGeek my first email to them was answered promptly. They offered me a full refund or to keep the extra tickets at half price. One of the tickets I relisted was sold and I was worried that this would void my return. Not the case. They still offered full refund on the three tickets. Both Rob and Roxanne were more than helpful and I will continue to use SeatGeek for all my ticket needs.

You have to have the SG app, otherwise you won't be able to download your ticket.
That was unfortunate because that's how I missed the first 30 minutes of the game.
As someone who is not American and has never been to a football game before, the beginning is the most interesting part.
I tried repeatedly to download the app but it didn't work out. There was no other way to get the ticket. So I had to go to the box office at the stadium. That took forever.
I'm very disappointed and I'm angry at SeatGeek.

I sold a pair of tickets on friday and still have not gotten the funds added to my account, Ive tried calling and tried troubleshooting all the ways listed for me but still have no solution. I just want my $ and dont know if Ill ever get it

Hi Michael! Payouts are issued on the first business day after the event, and then can take up to 5 business days to fully processed by Venmo or your bank. Since your event was on Friday the 15th, those funds were just issued today and you should see them no later than the end of this week!
If you have any trouble receiving those funds, please let our support team know so they can look into it!

The experience you brought to my life will never be replaced. Went to Kings Stanley Cup game and so much more. One of the best app and website to use to purchase games. Anyhow, just want to give a big shout out to your customer service especially a person named David. Give the man a raise! You guys are awesome!

Bought Austin F1 tickets from their site and turns out to be fake. Now they won't take any responsibility or refund. It was ~$300 per ticket. Now out of $1000+ and no body to go and ask?
Their buyer guarantee is false and this simply is a fraud company!

Bought a ticket to a college football game and I never received my ticket. Still waiting on SeatGeek to reply to my messages and refund me. There's a lot of terrible companies out there but this brings it to a new low. Very disappointed in this company. I would like to know how they get away with stealing peoples money?

Typed in Twins vs Indians to purchase Opening Day tickets. Instead of those coming up the August 8, came up. Immediately, we realized the mistake, but where advised that the transaction could not be stopped. Now we have to wait until 8/5, for the tickets to be released, and sell them back. Hopefully! A hassle that we do not need!

At Yankee Stadium I purchased 2 e-tickets and then was led around a host of locations because they would not let me enter the stadium with the e-tickets on my phone. They also would not simply print them out for me. I had to go across the street and pay a shop owner $5 per ticket to have my tickets I purchased printed so I could enter the stadium. It seemed like a needless hassle and caused me to miss the first part of the game. Until I opened the e-tickets I received no indication this would be a problem.

Stay away from Seat Geek. They engage in dishonest, shady and non-transparent business practices. I purchased for 4 tickets for an NBA game which we were planning to attend for our upcoming trip to Orlando. However, our plans changed and we can no longer go to the game. I contacted SeatGeek within 24 hours of purchase to cancel our tickets and request a refund and at this point there are still 13 days to the game. In all fairness, their FAQ section states that refunds may not be possible. What I don't understand is that Seat Geek claims to be the seller when you purchase the tickets but when I contacted their customer service I was told that the ticket was sold by a "Fellow fan that used SeatGeek Marketplace"! They claim to be transparent but why hide who the actual seller is? When you are in a marketplace website such as Ebay, Amazon or Etsy, you clearly know who the seller is. However, that is not the case with SeatGeek. Instead, they like to lie about it!
Date of experience: March 16, 2018
Hi Bulent, thanks for the feedback. We can definitely try to clarify this for you!
SeatGeek does function as a marketplace where hundreds of buyers and sellers can list, sell, and buy tickets. Because of the nature of the secondary market (and the ticket market in general) cancellations and refund cannot be issued once an order is confirmed. Since ticket essentially have an "expiration date", buyers are committed to the purchase once it's submitted. If the tickets can't be used for any reason after that purchase has gone through, it is the buyer's responsibility to resell that ticket if they'd like to recoup the cost of it!
In regards to how the seller is displayed on the site--for security reasons, we cannot display some of our seller's personal information. We at SeatGeek act as representatives of the ticket sellers, but do not own the inventory. We're happy to provide the support and answer any questions we can directly to the buyer or the seller, but we cannot provide the seller's personal, private information on the site. We apologize if that was not made clear prior to purchasing your tickets.
It does look like a few of our representatives have already assisted you with this, but if you ever need further clarification, we'd be more than happy to help. Feel free to contact our support team or visit our FAQ at Seatgeek.com/FAQ.

SeatGeek is the Web's largest event ticket search engine. Discover events you love, search all ticket sites, see seat locations and get the best deals on tickets.
Hi Elizabeth,
We are so sorry to hear that you had such a negative experience using SeatGeek.
We work very hard to make the prices on our site as transparent as possible by displaying a price that is inclusive of all fees and by linking to the official box office, but we are always looking for ways we can improve. If you'd be willing to share with us why you felt mislead, we'd be grateful for your feedback at hi@seatgeek.com.
We also would appreciate any details you'd be willing to share about your local pick up so that we can prevent others from having the same experience.
Apologies again and we look forward to hearing from you!
