While purchasing tickets for Cabaret on Broadway, I accidentally purchased tics for the wrong date (had 2 windows open!). I immediately realized my mistake, found a customer service phone number and called. I explained what happened to 'Kate', and was told that it may be possible to exchange tickets for the date I actually wanted. About 4 hours later I received a call back with a confirmation that the exchange had gone through and that my new tics were available on the app. I know that SeatGeek policy is that all purchases are final, but because these tics were a few months out they were able to assist. I appreciated the customer service.
Bought football game tickets for the Eagles and Rams yesterday (11/24/24), tickets were sent and available in my seat geek app. We get to the stadium and the tickets are invalid. We talk to box office and someone has already used the tickets earlier so we're SOL. We waste the entire first quarter waiting in line to resolve the issue and the first half chatting with customer service. I contacted seat geek and they say they'll investigate but it'll take 5 days. Completely unacceptable. Because we'd traveled and were already at the stadium, we bought separate tickets at the box office but the only ones left were at the very top row in a corner section. What was supposed to be a fun night at the game turned into a nightmare and the entire night was ruined. Buying with seat geek is not worth the risk, you could end up out of money with no tickets.
This was my first time buying from Seat Geek, and without a doubt it will be my last. My entire experience was absolutely infuriating. I urge whoever reads this to carefully consider buying elsewhere.
I bought tickets 2 months ago to an event I'm supposed to go to tonight. I spent over $2,000 for these tickets (which included hundreds of dollars in service fees paid to Seat Geek). The tickets were supposed to be mailed before the event by the seller. Originally, I wasn't too worried about the ticket delivery. Of course, as the event crept closer that would change. Here it is the day of the event and the status of my order shows the tickets will ship soon, support was unable to get the seller to release the tickets, and I now have to buy from another vendor... To an event that's prices are now through the roof. Oh yeah... And this is an event outside my home city that I bought plane tickets and accomodations for.
In the past 2-3 weeks I have reached out to the support team via phone and email 10+ separate times. Each time they promised they would get ahold of the seller to figure out what was going on. And each time I would be lucky if I ever heard from that same support rep again. It's clear that Seat Geek support doesn't actually have the ability to solve problems. They're their to field calls and carefully sweep problems under the rug until the buyer is left with no other options than to buy elsewhere.
I am still floored by what a bad experience this has been. Hopefully I get a refund, but given my experience so far, I doubt it.

Did not receive our tickets before our concert. The day of the concert I was told if the seller did not fulfill our order then I would have comparable tickets or upgraded tickets but had to wait 2 hours before the concert to give the seller time to fulfill the order. It was not fulfilled. They could not give me comparable tickets because they were sold out. At this time I was outside the stadium waiting to go in with tickets because they told me earlier that they would provide me with comparable or upgraded tickets. When I called back at 5 (because they never called me back) I was told I could get a refund or a "significant downgrade!" I was outside the stadium I had no tickets- I told them I will take the downgrade but I paid for better seats so I expect a refund of some sort. They refuse to give me one. I'm 6 months pregnant, and over the day accumulated almost 3 hours on the phone with them. It was very stressful and I will never use this company again. They just want your money they don't care about your consequences.

I purchased some raptors tickets for me and my friend. It was easy and simple and gave me a great deal. Only complaint, I can't access Canadian Dollars.

I was looking for tickets and compared other site's and their prices. SeatGeek was easy to use and compare. It turned out they had the most competitive prices.

Offers great value plus discounts to certain events. They show the value to all tickets and it doesn't seem like the fees are as much as their competitors.

I love it shows which seats are still are available and how they are colored. Transaction was easy and tickets arrived fast by e-mail and through the app.

On 10 January 2020 I purchased tickets to a concert scheduled for 7 February 2020. I received several emails stating that my purchase was "confirmed" and that the tickets would be delivered via the App the day prior to the show. When I opened the App, the confirmed tickets were identified in the tickets portion of the App.
On the day of the show, 7 February at 5:55pm, 2 hours prior to the start while I was at the venue, I received a phone call from SeatGeek that I did not hear. They left a voice mail and followed up with an email stating that the tickets were not released, but I would be reimbursed 120%. This really serves little purpose 2 hours prior to the start of the show while you are at the venue standing in line.
I called SeatGeek to try and understand what was happening and I was placed on hold for 17 minutes. When the representative came back on I asked to speak to a manager. I was placed on hold again for another 22 minutes before being told they were closing for the night and could not assist. The representative promised to have a manager call me the next day. No one ever called. It is now 5 days post incident and I have yet to speak to anyone or receive my refund.
In conclusion, my tickets are pulled 2 hours before the start of the show, customer service does not follow through with the promise to get a manager, no one calls the next day, or at all. There are too many other options for tickets. SeatGeek should not be one of them.
Buyer Beware.

We bought tickets through their site for the U2 concert last night in Tampa. The map location & descriptions stated they were in a suite. The day before the concert we received a FedEx with a $25 MasterCard debit card. No instructions or explanation. We called them to find out about our tickets & they said the debit card was our ticket entry. We were very skeptical, but they assured us there would be no problem. Needless to say, we weren't able to enter the stadium & were told by the ticket office we would have to go in as general admission & stand on the ground floor... which is significantly cheaper seating than what we paid. My husband & I were on our phones for over an hour with SeatGeek trying to get the ticket issue resolved. We missed the entire first opening of One Republic by the time they finally provided us with comparable tickets to what we paid. They repeatedly tried to give us cheaper seats than the value of what we paid. Very frustrating & irritating start to what should have been a great evening. Do not purchase tickets from them! Go to StubHub or another more reliable resaler.

I received my tickets with no problem and liked having such a wide choice for the concert. Great seats too!
Went to the concert! Second row, no problem!

Hi Anne,
Thanks for the kind words! Glad you had a smooth ticket-buying experience and that you enjoyed your second row seats at the concert!
I thought I already bought a ticket but the next day I received a mail telling me the ticket was not available. I believe they can do better by accepting or rejecting sales of ticket without delay.

It was very easy to make the transaction! The only thing I couldnt figure out was how to pick an exact seat in the row I wanted. That would have put the experience over the top! :)

Seat I was sold had a very obstructed view with no disclosure from SeatGeek. Could see less than half of the court at best to none of the court at times. Horrible experience.

Only one ticket scanned. The other ticket couldn't be read. Had to wait in line for an hour to get the situation resolved. Probably won't use Seatgeek again

Compares tickets from multiple places. Love the grading system it uses to tell you how good of a value it is. Quick and simple to purchase tickets once you find the one you want

I was able to pick up tickets less than a couple of hours before game time -- great options and was able to select tickets that were great value to watch games with my sons.

Like the fact I can show prices with fees, or without, depending on what I am looking for. Also like the detail you can zoom into for row and seat numbers

Found out U2 was playing in a city I was in for work travel and decided to go on a whim! Finding the best deal was easy! Purchasing tickets was straightforward.

It was just ok
The quantity of tickets were sort of assumed and had to go through an extra step of figuring out why it was assuming multiple tickets are required

Hi Sunil,
Thank you for reaching out. Truly sorry for any initial confusion with the ticketing purchasing process. Kindly note, here at SeatGeek we're a marketplace, so there are many sellers/partners who seller through our site. I see that you were looking for a quantity of 7 days. In order to narrow it down, you'd have to select the 'quantity' option about the ticket option in the main bar.
Again, sorry for any confusion. If you have anymore questions regarding the buying process, feel free to reach out to us anytime at hi@seatgeek.com.
Stay Safe,

I will not go anywhere else to buy tickets. From the seat selection to the checkout process, including accepting promo codes, this is the website to use for secondary market tickets

I bought tickets months ahead of time and two days before the concert Seat Geek invalidated my tickets. I paid over $600 and had big plans. Do not use Seat Geek

Hello James. First and foremost, we absolutely want to apologize for this. Please know that SeatGeek does not have the ability to invalidate tickets. When sellers run into any issues with tickets they've sold, they're required to let us know and either offer replacement tickets or a refund to the buyer for the full price of the order and then some. We whole-heartedly understand that when you purchase tickets, you expect to receive the tickets you purchased, and that of course is always our intention. Due to the natural volatility of the ticket market, sellers do sometimes run into problems with the validity of tickets they'd sold, which is why we have our Buyer and Seller Guarantees in place. That being said, I do see that our team was able to source you some upgraded replacements for you for this order. Again, we sincerely are sorry for the trouble. Please feel free to reach out to us if you'd like any further information about the order.
This is public service announcement for anyone who is thinking about buying tickets for an event. Do NOT use #SeatGeak to purchase your tickets! I bought tix for the NCAA tournament back in Novemeber 2015 and today (3/14/16) they refunded my money and told me that the post on their website was wrong and they don't have any tickets to the NCAA tournament. So for months I thought I'd be going to the sweet 16 and Elite 8 and now I have nothing. Please do not use this website, I don't want anyone to be sad like I am now. Only good thing is that I got my money refunded.
