While purchasing tickets for Cabaret on Broadway, I accidentally purchased tics for the wrong date (had 2 windows open!). I immediately realized my mistake, found a customer service phone number and called. I explained what happened to 'Kate', and was told that it may be possible to exchange tickets for the date I actually wanted. About 4 hours later I received a call back with a confirmation that the exchange had gone through and that my new tics were available on the app. I know that SeatGeek policy is that all purchases are final, but because these tics were a few months out they were able to assist. I appreciated the customer service.
I purchased tickets from Seat Geek to Sabrina Carpenter two months prior to the show. I received the tickets via email and added them to my Ticketmaster account. Three hours prior to the concert I got a notification from Ticketmaster that the tickets were invalid. Seat Geek customer service was useless and we were unable to attend the show. I've now spent 18 days communicating with seat geek via email and phone in which I'm continually told their team is working on it. I'm out over $700 and this company has made no attempts to refund me despite their buyer guarantee. Horribly incompetent customer service, would never trust to buy from them again.
Scam. Do NOT use this company. They sold tickets to a concert that did not even exist and it is even still listed on their website to an alec benjamin concert on 12/31/22. The Ryman auditorium confirmed this is not (and never was) a real concert. Also the artist website does not list this date. We purchased tickets and they will not respond to my repeated requests to refund the money. Nuts. I will be filing a lawsuit to expose the fraud and will attempt to make it a class action for all of us that have been wrongly done. This is crazy...how on earth are they still a company.

My husband & I have noticed we get different results with the same search parameters. Would like to be able to easily see the cheapest seats in the whole stadium but also then filter down to a certain area of the field.

I purchased NFL tickets less than 3 months prior to the event as a gift. We received the tickets immediately in PDF format for over $320. When using the tickets, we were very disappointed to discover the seats were fraudulent. When calling seat geek, they were quick to put the blame on the third party, but reluctant to resolve the issue on their own accord. We needed to follow up and call several other parties in order to get the issue resolved and were extremely discouraged by the lack of accountability and integrity within seatgeek as a whole.

Seat geek advertised 2 tickets for the Denver Nuggets area 366 row 8 and we were meeting a group that already had tickets in row 8. I purchase 2 tickets and seat geek changed them to row 7 after I purchased them...I tried to get refund with no luck and they stated I could only get credit with their company...they advertise full immediate refund. They lied... there is no phone #. Only chat in which they stop answering when I requested a full refund. I would not recommend doing any type of business with seat geek! Good luck!

Was not an easy to retrieve tickets. Ended up calling Sox's so they could text me the link to get tickets. If it is always this hard will use another site. Was a royal pain in the neck. Not sure why we were charged a service fee when you did not provide the service of sending us the ticket.

Hey There,
Sorry to hear you had troubles retrieving your tickets. We understand this can be a frustrating experience.
Starting this season the MLB has been requiring tickets to be delivered through the MLB Ballpark app. This means we have to send most tickets through that app. Which requires a number of steps from setting up an account with the team and setting up the app. Our team is always here to help with the process though!
You can reach us at 888.506.4101 or hi@seatgeek.com and we are happy to help!
Warm Regards,
SeatGeek CX Team
This is a horrible company that will steal your money and give you nothing. I purchased 2 tickets to Adele concert. I never heard from SeatGeek again until I received an email 4 days before the event informing me that it had turned over the request to Scorebig, which is out of business. You guessed it, no tickets and no refund of $1,200 paid to SeatGeek. This company should be investigated for its fraudulent and deceptive practices.

I have used this service numerous times, in fact its the only one I use now. The only real improvement that I can see is to make it a little easier to view the tickets once purchased. It may just be me but that part kicks my butt every time. Other than that I'm completely satisfied.

If you want a stress free experience for your event do NOT use this website. I will never be doing third party again. Was told over and over again by their "support" that I would receive my tickets via mobile transfer. Then when it was 24 hours before the event they switched and said the tickets will be at will call. I showed up to the event and had no tickets for me at will call. Had to purchase three new tickets, no where near where we wanted. Just safe yourself the hassle and don't use them

Don’t use it! Go elsewhere

I ordered tickets for a concert in March. As of the day before the concert, no tickets. Called 3 times and kept getting the brush off, with no indication they would honor their "Buyer Guaranty." This is close to interstate wire fraud. Do NOT use SeatGeek. Oh, and their fees were higher than the face value of the seats.
Tip for consumers:
Don't. There are lots of ticket sites. Use one of the other ones

SeatGeek's search engine does not take into account where you are currently located when searching for tickets. Almost got incorrect tickets for Justin Timberlake a few months ago. We're in Detroit but it suggested the Cleveland show first. Now this time I was getting tickets to a Tigers game against the Twins in Detroit but it suggested the weekend after when they are in Minnesota even though I'm 40 minutes from Detroit. I realized my mistake literally seconds after hitting the purchase button but they have no cancellation policy and instead must make me sell those tickets at a loss plus have them take a fee out of it. I get why the policy is in place but I should have at least 3 minutes to be able to cancel the order.

Thanks to SeatGeek for responding to my posting. I have been in touch with them and, at the moment, they don't know how my tickets ended up on their site and/or why the increase in price. They are working on finding out what is happening and have been in contact all day. Very responsive, just hope we can figure the cause of the mysteries and resolve them. I'll post again with the results. Cheers!

Listed a NFL ticket with the "official" NFL ticket dealer. I wanted $500. The dealer listed for $556 and then added another $117 in "fees" for a total of $673. In less than an hour SeatGeek had, without my knowledge or permission, listed my ticket on their site for $738 plus $147 in fees for a total of $885. Since SeatGeek doesn't know me, where would the money go? Would SeatGeek pay the "original" broker the $673 they wanted to charge and keep the extra $212? Please check prices across ticket sites to avoid being double charged.

Hey just want to give a heads up Seat Geek is a rip off. If anything happens to your event they will not stand behind their sale of the ticket. If it's moved to a date you can't make … it's your tuff luck … Avoid them at all cost

Our "smart phone" is apparently not smart enough to download the MLB Ballpark app that is now required. We are "old school" and do not use our phones for such matters. Had to go to customer service to get tickets printed out. Very inconvenient! We will not be using seek geek again.
Date of experience: May 13, 2019
Hey Coleen,
We can completely understand your frustrations with the MLB Ballpark app not working with your device.
Unfortunately, the need to use that app isn't one that is decided by us. MLB made the decision this season to need all tickets to be handled through their own app. This mean if you get tickets directly from the team or on any secondary platform, they are going to require the use of MLB's app.
I am very happy the box office was able to help and may be the way to go for future ticket purchases for MLB games, no matter who you use for tickets.
Warm Regards,
SeatGeek CX Team
Given the green rating of my seats - as a good value - I expected them not to have an obstructed view, which they did especially for the first four songs of the concert (U2). Everyone moved out of our section to be able to catch a glimpse of the band performing on the floor. No one could see a thing over the lighting and sound equipment. To me- it should have been noted that the seats would be obstructed.

Hi there Caren, thanks for reaching out about this, and we're truly sorry that this happened. Each tour has a different stage setup and have the ability to change up the setup at any point during the tour, and unfortunately, not all venues are very transparent regarding when there will be obstructions for things like sound stages. This has been a particular pain point for fans who've been attending U2 shows this go-around, and we're really sorry this happened. In these cases, the sellers aren't told of the obstruction, so unfortunately there's no way for them to know about the view and therefore can't notate the listing as such. We highly recommend fans reach out directly to the venue at which the show took place to voice their concerns. We 100% agree that fans should have been made aware of these kinds of obstructions prior to purchasing tickets, and we whole-heartedly support the cause of having venues be more transparent with this information, especially with big shows like this! If you've got any questions, let us know. Send us an email to hi@seatgeek.com and we'll do our best to answer them for you!
They don't offer any information on refunds and they hide their phone number which I had to obtain through my bank because they don't have it on their web page! I spoke with their agents which as expected denied me a refund despite my adamant but respectful objections. Avoid them! Ticketmaster offers a clear refund policy for cancellations and postponements! (they claim it's not a cancellation because they offered me the tickets for 7 months latter! Yea right!)

Hi Eduardo, thanks for taking the time to leave your feedback. For clarification, since SeatGeek is a secondary marketplace, refunds cannot be offered when events are postponed and the original tickets are valid for the rescheduled date. Information about our refund policy can be found in our Terms of Use at seatgeek.com/terms, which our users are also required to agree to prior to checking out. It does look like a representative is working with you on this, but if you have any questions, please let us know.

Just look at the reviews- wish I had before I found out once they have your credit card number you are stuck and on the hook no matter what the reason for a request for credit- I would never think about using them again! Beware

Hello Rich. We do apologize if there was any confusion regarding our policies. SeatGeek is primarily a search engine, so we don't have the ability to credit accounts or issue refunds. As stated in our Terms of Use, all sales are final once an order is placed, as is common across the secondary ticket market. Unfortunately, due the natural volatility of the market and the fact that all tickets essentially have an "expiration date" (the date of the event), it's unique in that refunds and order reversals are typically not an option.
We'd be more than willing to discuss the policy with you in further detail, or take a look at your order again and see if there's anything we can do to help! Please always feel free to reach out to us at hi@seatgeek.com.
You can look at prices with the fees already included so you know what you're really getting into. I was able to see what the field would look like from my seat right in the app. Very awesome and simple experience.

Don't use this site! Stubhub is the only way to go. It's worth a couple extra bucks to actually get IN to the event you paid $300 for! I received two invalid tickets and were turned away at the door and had to buy two more to get in and sit a level higher than we wanted to! Seatgeek does not check out their sellers the way they are supposed to. They let Ticket Network sell tickets through them, and they are legit SCAMMERS. Never again. I want my money back for the invalid tickets AND the ones we had to buy last minute... i'll see if they comply.

I ordered tickets on the day of a basketball game to take my kids to. We live 2 1/2 hours away from where the game took place. I was stressing because it was the first time I had used SeatGeek. My husband was so mad I didn't use vivid seats or stub hub, but there was an error where the tickets were double sold. They went above and beyond and purchased tickets with better seats on their dime! We were very happy!

Bought tickets to a game. Got stopped at door. Tickets fraudulent. In fact, could still have purchased same exact seats for which I already paid SeatGeek at the box office from the team. Called customer service and they promised me a refund so I bought tickets on stubhub. Then got an email from SeatGeek during the game that they will not refund my money because they're just a "search engine" and I should contact the retailer. Guess what. No answer at retailer.

I thought it would be convenient to have parking prepaid for concert at American Airlines in downtown Dallas. NOPE! The app was completely useless in directing to my spot, and the attendant informed me that the price I paid was marked up from $6 to $20. So not only did they get my money, they got my information and I got lost in the hood that smelled like poop!

I bought 2 sets of tickets for tomorrow's LSU/UCLA game at the Rose Bowl: $2500!
They claim they sent me the emails with the links for the electronic transfer of the tickets.
I have gotten no such emails. I tried to call, I was told it would be at least 30 minutes. When the guy did answer, he said: Hello? And promptly hung up :/ Nice customer service:/
I will never, ever, do business with them again. StubHub from now on!

Overall experience was good. I think the fees you and other sites charge per ticket are ridiculous. I bought (4) tickets and paid almost $20.00 extra dollars per ticket, a total of $80.00 extra dollars, so I can sit (6) rows from the ceiling. I am all for making money, but to bang people over the head because you can is not right.

Hi Vincent,
Truly sorry for any frustration regarding selling fees. Please note, selling fee's are included in ticket prices all across the Live Entertainment Industry. However, some companies include the pricing in their price without showing it upfront. Here at SeatGeek, we pride ourselves with being super transparent, which is why we have the option on the order page to look at prices with or without fees.
If you have any questions at all, please feel free to reach out to us at hi@seatgeek.com and we'll surely take care of you.
Stay Safe,
CX Team at SeatGeek
I wish I would have found this site before I used Seatgeek. Seatgeek has problems with their software mapping direct seat locations. This is why you hear of so many complaints from people not getting the seats they purchased.
Here is a quote from Bryce at RazorGator "SeatGeek is in charge of mapping the tickets accordingly to match the listing from our site. As you have stated, we did not specify on the listing whether these would be left, right, or center. This issue is with SeatGeek and how they mapped our tickets on their site.We do not control what section they map the tickets to. If the tickets were mapped in the center then that was a misrepresentation by SeatGeek."
Also, I sent more than one emails to Seatgeek but never received a response.

This is a rip off. The tickets offered and clicked on for purchase were not what I got. I immediately reached out, but they WILL NOT refund. All sales final- even if it's not what you order! I spent an hour, trying to remain calm, not be a pain. But, ALL SALES FINAL! It's not worth the risk. I got better tickets for a better price on a different site. No problem, so there were available choices. DONT DO IT! 26 dollar transaction fee for each ticket too!
Tip for consumers:
This is a rip off. I chose seats, clicked and paid and then did not receive the tickets that I chose. No refund. Seriously. Rip off!

SeatGeek is the Web's largest event ticket search engine. Discover events you love, search all ticket sites, see seat locations and get the best deals on tickets.
That is a great suggestion! We are always looking for ways to make our platform even more user friendly and we will make sure that our developers get this feedback.
