While purchasing tickets for Cabaret on Broadway, I accidentally purchased tics for the wrong date (had 2 windows open!). I immediately realized my mistake, found a customer service phone number and called. I explained what happened to 'Kate', and was told that it may be possible to exchange tickets for the date I actually wanted. About 4 hours later I received a call back with a confirmation that the exchange had gone through and that my new tics were available on the app. I know that SeatGeek policy is that all purchases are final, but because these tics were a few months out they were able to assist. I appreciated the customer service.
I purchased tickets from Seat Geek to Sabrina Carpenter two months prior to the show. I received the tickets via email and added them to my Ticketmaster account. Three hours prior to the concert I got a notification from Ticketmaster that the tickets were invalid. Seat Geek customer service was useless and we were unable to attend the show. I've now spent 18 days communicating with seat geek via email and phone in which I'm continually told their team is working on it. I'm out over $700 and this company has made no attempts to refund me despite their buyer guarantee. Horribly incompetent customer service, would never trust to buy from them again.
I was easy to do and easy to follow. The only trouble was I had a password with Ticketmaster and didnt realize it. Not an issue.

Site is good. Does it's job but wasn't what I expected. Stubhub has similar tickets for cheaper and they show you the view. No secret taxes

Hi Christian,
We strive to always be comparable if not beat the pricing you see on other platforms. We even strive to be more transparent then many other platforms, by allowing you to search for tickets while seeing feeds included. When you enable that you will see the full price of the ticket including any taxes and fees, which is something many platforms don't have.
For the future, please know that we do price match. Meaning if you find the same tickets on another platform for cheaper, you can send us a screen cap and we will meet that price!
I really liked using Seat Geek. Simple and cheaper. Also had great selection of seats! Couldn't ask for better

Transaction is always smooth and easy, only wish they pointed out obstructed view seats at Fenway though.
Date of experience: August 18, 2019
Hi Joey,
Glad you have a mostly great time using our service. Our knowledge of obstructed views comes from the tickets, so if Fenway doesn't feel it is obstructed then they don't put that on the ticket and it doesn't end up noted on our end. That said you are not the first person to mention this and our team is aware and looking at possible solutions to keep our service getting better.
Warm Regards,

Hi there Abbigail,
Thanks so much for the feedback, here. We totally understand the frustration of not being able to attend an event you're excited for, and we're really sorry to hear you were unable to make it! Unfortunately, since we're a platform on the secondary ticket market (comprised both of professional sellers, and folks like you who cannot make their events, and are reselling their tickets to recoup the cost), we do have an all-sales-final policy that, in order to be fair to our sellers, in most cases we do have to adhere to-- with the exception, of course, of when the event itself is canceled.
When folks aren't able to attend the game or show they bought tickets for, we always suggest reselling tickets in the SeatGeek Marketplace. This is a great way to recoup the money spent to purchase the tickets, or even turn a small profit! We see a super high success rate among our users who choose to sell their tickets back on the Marketplace, and we love helping to get tickets into the hands of fans who can use them, while also helping users like you make back what they spent. Not being able to attend the event is bad enough; resale on the Marketplace acts as a small silver lining.
If you have any other questions regarding this or any other order on our platform, please don't hesitate to reach out to our CX team directly at the e-mail address or phone number below.
