This company does not typically respond to reviews
While purchasing tickets for Cabaret on Broadway, I accidentally purchased tics for the wrong date (had 2 windows open!). I immediately realized my mistake, found a customer service phone number and called. I explained what happened to 'Kate', and was told that it may be possible to exchange tickets for the date I actually wanted. About 4 hours later I received a call back with a confirmation that the exchange had gone through and that my new tics were available on the app. I know that SeatGeek policy is that all purchases are final, but because these tics were a few months out they were able to assist. I appreciated the customer service.
I purchased tickets from Seat Geek to Sabrina Carpenter two months prior to the show. I received the tickets via email and added them to my Ticketmaster account. Three hours prior to the concert I got a notification from Ticketmaster that the tickets were invalid. Seat Geek customer service was useless and we were unable to attend the show. I've now spent 18 days communicating with seat geek via email and phone in which I'm continually told their team is working on it. I'm out over $700 and this company has made no attempts to refund me despite their buyer guarantee. Horribly incompetent customer service, would never trust to buy from them again.
If I could, I'd rate SeatGeek with Zero rating. I tried to use them this week three times for the same show and ultimately ended up using StubHub for the same seats because they continually sent back an 'unable to process' ticket after collecting my payment. They claim they will be reimbursing the amounts which total $1000. The same tickets were validated through StubHub/Ticketmaster. It will take additional work to follow up with SeatGeek to make sure I receive reimbursement. Total unnecessary headache. I never write reviews but want to make sure others don't fall into the same trap. I'll write a follow up if I receive reimbursement
Purchased seats through Seat Geek. Dallas concert was just re-scheduled from February 2019 to June 2019 so that they can film it for Netflix. So now I am stuck with $400 of tickets that I cant use. My only option is to try to figure out how to possibly resale them. A royal pain.
Seatgeek's easy system of finding the best prices for events has been great for me. I've used it primarily for baseball and hockey tickets. Their system of using the little colored circles tells you what kind of deal you're getting (recently got a 9.2 "amazing deal!"), and they always have gotten my tickets to me quickly and painlessly. My favorite part is that they include all the fees in the price shown, instead of having you click all the way to checkout only to find that you've got an extra $10-$20 in fees. It makes the experience much quicker and easier. I always recommend this site and will continue to do so.
This company is by far the most despicable incompetent company I have ever dealt with. There is never a manager or supervisor to speak to you after one month of speaking back-and-forth with them they cannot get in contact with their vendor and ignore all communications from me the buyer. Take your business somewhere else this company is an absolute disgrace

I've used Seatgeek probably 8-10 times for baseball games and I've never had a problem. Consistently cheaper than stubhub and they show you the full price up front, rather than adding hidden "convenience fees" etc
Hi Matt, thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us and we're glad you enjoy using SeatGeek! We're always here to help and if you ever have any questions, feel free to email us at hi@seatgeek.com!
Expensive tickets, over $1,400 purchased and for days the order remained "pending" despite this being against Seat Geek's policy. Many emails back and forth, they continually made excuses for the "broker" not taking action. Finally called them and they said they'd cancel within 24 hours. We'll see, but this should not have occurred in the first place.

A huge thank you to everyone who has wrote a review. I will not be purchasing tickets through here for my husbands birthday. I am very happy I read reviews before going ahead and purchasing. It really sucks that this company does business this way.
I've used Seat Geek 5 times now for tickets to the Buffalo Sabres hockey games. Each time has been flawless! I receive the tickets exactly as it states. Either right away if the game is soon or when they will be released as noted in the listing. Never an issue what so ever. They are my "go to" for tickets. Reasonably priced fees included up front so the amount in my cart is the amount. No hidden fees.
Well done!
Great Experience purchasing tickets from Seat Geek. Price was really good, just like the rating system showed. Only giving a four star due to having to purchase 6 tickets when I only needed 5. No area where I could select just 5. Regardless of that, we had a Great Time at a San Francisco Giants game. And yes they won!
As always, SeatGeek has the best prices for event tickets. Transactions are simple and you get a glimpse of where your seats are located inside the arena.
I also like the specifics about ticket delivery. It's clearly described how the tickets will be delivered (Flash Seats, print, e-ticket, etc).
Worst customer policy in my life. Bought two tickets. The performer postponed the concert. No new dates are posted. Contacted customer service. The only thing they said, they can't refund because if you buy it no refund. You can try to sell them. But I can't even do that because no new dates. They told me to contact the performer? Like wth is that my job? I guess I lost my money. Never again. DONT PURCHASE from them.

I purchased ticket to Cubs game and never received a barcode. Instead of refunding me, they offered a voucher. The customer service is terrible and their buyer guarantee is meaningless. Use other 3rd party ticket companies, not SeatGeek.
Tip for consumers:
Very shady customer service. Keep saying they are too busy and will follow up via email. But they don't. And only way to interact is through a chat but it goes no where. Very frustrating and time consuming that goes no where.

Ticket but never received it
Coming from out of town for and event. My purchase did not say immediate delivery, but telling they will arrive with 24 hours of the event is scary and not acceptable. What if i have no access to print? It's funny how they glorify instant delivery but but 24 hour rule somewhere different. Try contacting them all I got was a bot
I purchased 2 football tickets for a college football game 1 month prior to the event on the seatgeek app. I had figured they were being sent directly in the app and didn't check their status until the day of the event. The day of the event I discovered that I had not received the tickets in the app or anywhere in my email. After talking with SeatGeek on the phone for 30 minutes they essentially told me there is nothing they could do. $300 down the toilet and seatgeek did nothing about it. Will never order from SeatGeek EVER again. Save yourself from dealing with their BS and buy tickets somewhere else.
We bought two tickets thru SeatGeek that went through ticketnetwork.com. Received an email confirming the Two Playoff tickets for the Buffalo Bills playoff game. It said Thank you very much for contacting us. I'm very happy to let you know that your order went through and that it's been Accepted by the ticket seller. I've pasted your order information below for your records. Then two days later received and email that they are not available. This is after we have purchased 2 RT airfare tickets from Roc. When we called they just tried to sell me two more that were double of what I paid. Would not do anything not even waive the service fees on the new purchase. This was A terrible and costly experience. Very disappointed.
Hi Amy,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We take matters concerning the various vendors who list on SeatGeek very seriously, and we appreciate any comments that customers can provide about their experiences on our site - whether they are positive or negative. In order to provide a better marketplace, we are constantly working with our customers and our vendors to improve the ticket buying experience on SeatGeek.
If a specific issue becomes a trend with a vendor, we will remove their listings.
Although this does not erase the poor experience you had, your feedback will allow us to improve user experience. Ultimately, we hope to create a better system where this does not happen.
If you'd like to provide further feedback about your experience, please send information about what happened directly to our support team so it can be investigated internally.

I tried ordering tickets for Coldplay at MetLife Stadium. I've used seatgeek several times in the past and have experienced no issues. This time, I purchased tickets through seatgeek, and my order was unable to be confirmed. Funds were already taken out of my account but said that they would be refunded within a few days. So I ordered tickets again since the representative said that ticket cancellations are "extremely rare." call me lucky because it once again cancelled my order due to an inability to confirm the tickets. Once again, funds were withdrawn and I now have to wait for $400+ to return to my account.
I called seatgeek once again and they said the best they could do for this was to simply help me search and "almost guarantee" that tickets would be confirmed. No discount, no gift card, not even a promo code for having to deal with this terrible ordeal. I'm skeptical of using seatgeek ever again.
Hi Joseph, thank you for taking time to share your experience. Hearing from our customers about how they use SeatGeek and issues that they encounter helps us to improve. It looks like you had a couple order attempts that couldn't be confirmed. We apologize for the frustration. This issue is rare but more likely to happen for more popular events where tickets are "flying off the shelves." There is an authorization hold on your card at checkout to verify it and also to make sure that, if a charge were to occur, it wouldn't overdraft your account. If an order cannot be confirmed, we immediately inform your credit card company to release your funds back to you. I assure you we are always working to provide a secure ticket buying experience and it's feedback like this that helps us know which direction to go in regards to our work.
Purchased tickets for Lady Gaga in Atlanta for my daughters. Received all notification the transaction was complete, my credit card was charged, the tickets were accepted. They were never transferred to my Ticketmaster account in order to access via mobile app, spent two days on the phone with customer service. They acknowledge I did buy them, they can see them in their system. Stay as far away from this company as possible... do not use them! Still fighting for my refund, the management is a joke.
18 inning game with a Dodgers win. Worth every penny. The opportunity of a lifetime came along and I took it. This is the single greatest thing I have ever done or been to. Something like this may never happen again in my lifetime.
The rating system for SeatGeek is completely bogus. The logarithms used to created them are faulty and not credible, in my direct and personal experience. Where I know the stadium and seating experience, SeatGeek gives higher color ratings to directly comparable, poorer seats that are selling for less than the seats they rate as a "better buy". Advice, go to StubHub or Ticketmaster and do you work there. Forget about this system because it is unreliable.
Hi Dallas, we're sorry to hear that. We factor in lots of things while calculating deal score, and we're always tinkering to make it better. Some of the factors that influence Deal Score are: historical ticket prices for the performer and the venue, the row location, the expected sightline from the section, and the quality of the other available tickets for the event.
If you really like math and want to learn more about Deal Score, head here: http://chairnerd.seatgeek.com/the-math-behind-ticket-bargains/
App is convenient, but SeatGeek taking 30% on every transaction is ridiculous. When teams sign exclusive partnerships with SeatGeek, it makes it very difficult for other reselling sites to compete and offer lower fees.
First off, thank you so much for reviewings our platform. It really helps us out to receive your feedback, and we so appreciate you taking the time to let us know about your experience with us.
We can understand the disappointment you have with fees being charged for your tickets. We know that tickets can already be expensive and with the added fees you want to be sure you are getting a decent value out of your tickets. Unfortunately fees are are pretty unavoidable, we do try to be upfront with our fee pricing and strive to outdo other platforms you may use. We do our best to make sure that the fees we charge are fair, but also enough that we can cover the costs of our services, as well as to continue making the improvements on the things that we feel make us the best ticket-buying experience out there!
We honestly do value your feedback and if there is anything else you feel we can be doing or help improve our fee setup, please reach out to us at 888.506.4101 or email us at hi@seatgeek.com

I went through the process of purchasing two tickets to a show which were listed at $116 each. Up until the last screen, the price was $232.00. Just before completing my purchase, they added fees of $44.00 for each ticket... totaling $88.00 in fees which were not expected, and with tax the total was $324.00. They are very dishonest using this bait and switch tactic.
Tip for consumers:
Beware of their last minute extreme fees per ticket... for $116 tickets they added a $44 fee per ticket.

I purchased seats for the Atlanta Hawks versus Milwaukee Bucks game for November 14 to celebrate my husband‘s birthday. As of today which is November 14 I still have not received the tickets. I have tried contacting seat geek by phone on the line 45 minutes no response. Call corporate office and left a message. And also sent numerous messages which receive responses which were not related to my original inquiry very disappointed!
I was not able to list any tickets on this website its a flat out lie waste of time just to get you to sing up for their site. Also they pay people to write fake reviews on apples app store its so easy to tell what a crap company dont bother wasting your time

Very user friendly. Do wish they had a few more sort options though, like sort by lowest row. But I love the upfront pricing. Its nice not to be surprised by "resort" fees to use a Hotel industry irritating reference. I love that what I see, is what I am paying and I don't have to play mind games while deciding. Great job SeatGeek. The way ticket buying should be.
I am actually very nervous because I just bought two tickets from them before reading reviews. I had an iffy feeling when my email took a while to send me the tickets so I hopped on here and I'm extremely scared of what is going to happen tonight. I have my tickets printed out but I've heard of a lot of experiences with duplicate tickets where the seller will enter first and of course since mine would be the duplicate I could not enter. So I will hope for the best and post an update review about my experience.
Hi Danielle,
Sorry to hear you were nervous about your purchase from SeatGeek! How did everything turn out?
SeatGeek is the Web's largest event ticket search engine. Discover events you love, search all ticket sites, see seat locations and get the best deals on tickets.
Hey There!
We can definitely understand your frustrations with the event getting rescheduled like this. As we are a secondary marketplace we are a bit limited on when we can and cannot offer refunds. In the event the event is rescheduled and the original tickets will be honored, we have to honor that sale as well. It's on in events where the box office is offering refunds as the event is fully canceled that we can offer a refund.
That said, we are more then happy to assist in getting your tickets listed for sale so you can recoup the costs. If you are truly in a position where you are unable to resell, we are also more then happy to discuss if there are any options available to you.
We can be reached at support@seatgeek.com or via phone at (888)506-4101
Warm Regards,
SeatGeek
