After pressing the buy option for 2 theater tickets, Seat Geek sent back an ambiguous message saying the transaction may not have gone through and that I should check my email. When I checked my email there was no confirmation from Seat Geek. Presuming that the transaction had failed, I ordered 2 more tickets. A minute later two email confirms arrived for 2 tickets each. I contacted Seat Geek's customer service immediately; they told me that all ticket sales were final, and that I should attempt to sell the tickets through their service. When I failed to get them to reconsider, I attempted to offer the 2 extra tickets for sale at a loss, but their service said they were ineligible! I don't often feel like a chump, but I did after dealing with them. 3 days later, Fernando from their customer service emailed to say they had secured a refund from the box office. After it was credited, I altered the review from 1 star to 4 stars. Walter Masterson
I purchased tickets from Seat Geek to Sabrina Carpenter two months prior to the show. I received the tickets via email and added them to my Ticketmaster account. Three hours prior to the concert I got a notification from Ticketmaster that the tickets were invalid. Seat Geek customer service was useless and we were unable to attend the show. I've now spent 18 days communicating with seat geek via email and phone in which I'm continually told their team is working on it. I'm out over $700 and this company has made no attempts to refund me despite their buyer guarantee. Horribly incompetent customer service, would never trust to buy from them again.

When I visited Seat Geek to purchase Steeler tickets, I was provided with an image depicting the view from the selected seats, similar to what other platforms offer. I saved this image for reference. However, upon later inspection, I discovered that the actual seats were not at all close to what I had anticipated. This misleading representation borders on fraudulent behavior in their ticket sales. I reached out to their customer service to address the issue, but they merely cited their "no refunds" policy. This policy appears designed to mislead customers into believing they are receiving one product while delivering another. Such practices warrant investigation, and I believe their business license should be revoked.
Tip for consumers:
It is just sad how they can still be in business. They have a no refund policy and that is a joke when they are being deceptive as to where your seats are. Like most places such a ticket master they show you a view of the seats but with SeatGeek they show you great seat in a totally different location.

I purchased parking tickets for a concert in San Antonio on February 25. We arrived at the address listed on the ticket and the parking lot didn't exist. After connecting with customer service, they sent us a map of the area and we find the lot 1.5 miles away from the original address to be turned away because the lot was full.
After connecting with customer service, they offered me a voucher to use on future purchases. I have been disputing this for days now and they will not refund my money. In my mind, this was an error on their side and an inconvenience to me so I should receive a cash refund.

An absolutely horrible experience. I tried to buy tickets, but their system told me they were no longer available even after several attempts, so I bought other tickets, only to learn later that my first purchase went through.
Having double the tickets I wanted, the saga continues with bad customer service. I was told they won't help without a screenshot, which I didn't have, and I should sell, so I did, but at a loss, and they refused to reimburse me for their fees, because they said I should have sold them for more money, even though their system recommended the price to me as the best price to sell.
Bad product and support!
I paid for a parking pass for a concert, and they never sent an email with the link to the ticket. I contacted them through live chat and talked to 3 different people who promised they would have the ticket seller re-transfer the ticket to me, which they never did. I spent about three hours trying to track down my ticket. What a waste of time. I will never fall victim to this bull$#*! again!
Seatgeek sold me 2 day tickets to a concert, when I only received 1 day! I have been trying to receive a refund for a week with countless emails and phone calls which are never returned. Seatgeek confirmed with me that I had a 2 day ticket before the show, but was unable to get into the show the 2nd night, while spending the entire night on chats and phone calls with them continuing to lie to me that the tickets were coming. They never arrived and we missed the entire show.

THE WORST experience ever. I bought 2 tickets for Billie Eilish over $769+, right there at the concert the code did not work, it was "not found", I called them for 1-2 hours and they pretended sending me new ones and at the very end refunded the money when the concert already started so they sold the same tickets several times. DO NOT USE SEAT GEEK.
Tip for consumers:
Seat Greek must go out of business and stop scamming people

NONE I lost money, time, energy and my 12 year old daughter and her friend are traumatized.
Purchased tickets in April for concert in August. Platform says tickets will be released 48-he before concert. Checked 48hr before - no tickets. Platform now says 24hr before concert. Checked for tickets 24hr before - no tickets yet. But money withdrawn in April. It is now less then 10hr before concert, I've been on the phone with 3 representatives and I still don't have the tickets I paid for. Will never use this platform and it should be shut down. Instead of having fun for what was supposed to be my brothers best bday gift, I'm having 48 hours filled with frustration, stress, anxiety and no help.
Tip for consumers:
This company needs to be shut down

I purchased tickets to Frankie Valli last night and another couple were in my seats, they had identical tickets. The venue let me stay but we were moved to the back of the venue. I paid dearly for 3rd row seats.
SeatGeeks responce was that they only sell the tickets and the problem lies with the third party seller or the venue.
I purchased the tickets from SeatGeek not the venue or the third party.
I am seat geeks customer and a responsible company should exceed the customers expectations. That is not the case with SeatGeek.
To make it worse the tickets were purchased with a credit from Seat Geek. They had refused to give me a refund, only offered a credit.
This gave them the opportunity to screw me over again.
Save yourself the aggravation, do yourself a favor and AVOID SEAT GEEK!
Thank You,
Robert Dugan

Fraudulent tickets
I'd suggest avoiding Seatgeek!
Due to a family conflict I had to "swap" tickets I had for a Frankie Valli concert on June 21,2024. I had the tickets transferred from Ticketmaster to SeatGeek, which was extremely easy. I proceeded to swap the tickets on seatgeek with the intent to use the "discount code" on another date for a Frankie Valli event. I chose July 21. I went to checkout after I saw the discount code and attempted to add it and finished the payment process. After finishing I saw the code wasn't used and my card was charged the full price of the tickets.
I immediately started chatting with 3 different support people getting the same standard book response from each. After 2-3 hours of typing and getting disconnected I got a phone number for support. The support employee, just like all the others said that he would help. After another 45 minutes on the phone he also was no help. I've now paid $800, $390 more than I have the money for but got a "discount code" so I can go through this fiasco again if it doesn't work. Close to 4 hours of runaround with absolutely no resolution whatsoever.
I will use the "discount code" on something and never use the seatgeek service again.
Tip for consumers:
Customer service were pleasant but handcuffed with seatgeeks policies.
Seatgeek is not customer friendly.

Tickets without receiving credit code in my account
I bought 4 tickets to a recent event and unfortunately my son could not attend. No problem, I thought... I will find someone else to come or in a worst case scenario, list the ticket for resale. Well, no luck finding someone else to come. I listed the ticket for sale.
Later that evening, as I went on to monitor prices so as to adjust the listing price if appropriate, I noted both the SeatGeek iPhone app and website were down for maintenance.
When the site came back up, the listing was gone. So was the ticket. I immediately called customer service. After roughly an hour on hold I got a rep who was [reading from a call script] apologetic and reassured me she would do everything she could to assist. Advised me their team was looking into it and that I would receive a call back.
The morning of the event... no ticket. No listing. I called again. Another hour on hold. They had no record of my previous call and the rep said nearly the exact same thing as the previous rep.
Went to event.
A week later I received a follow up call requesting a screenshot from the website from when the error had occurred. I informed them that since the event had passed and the ticket disappeared I had no way to obtain a screenshot. The rep reiterated that they needed a screenshot, but would escalate the issue.
Another week passes. This time I receive an email requesting a screenshot. I again attempted to explain that the event took place three weeks ago. The ticket disappeared during their system maintenance. Even if I somehow had the ticket, I could not list it as the event already happened.
Another week passes. Another email. Another request for a screenshot.
I feel like I am losing my mind. Do not use this horrific service. The fees may be higher through StubHub but trust me, it is the lesser of evils. Or try Game Time, I hear that advertised quite a bit. Just anything but SeatGeek.

I was unable to use a ticket and then it disappeared.
All I know is they suck at customer service. I bought two tickets back in April, they got confirmed and money was pulled from my account. Day of the show I still had no tickets. I spent 9 hours on the phone, email, and chat with them. They kept saying they would contact the seller and get back to me, which they never did. They also claimed I was covered under their "buyers guaranteed" so they would compensate us with new tickets or even better ones. Such BS. Comes showtimes they claimed they couldn't do anything but a refund, mind you ticket prices are double now.
Let's just say it's going to be an awesome night in after blowing hundreds of dollars on travel expenses for a show we won't even see.
I've bought from them before, recommended them to many friends. Definitely going to play it safer moving forward and buy off of Ticketmaster, I'd recommend you do the same
This company stole 1700 bucks from my account for tickets i never bought never inquired about or wanted to an event that i have never been interested in. I don't know why it is forcing me to select a star it shouldn't even get a half star. I can't show proof of purchase because i didn't buy anything.

Bought 2 tix from a group of 8 and we were unable to choose the seats we wanted and ended up with the worst seats in the group. Never again - use Stub Hub instead.
On 5/5/24 I ordered a parking ticket through Seatgeek for an LA Dodgers game. I purchased the ticket while I was waiting in line to enter the stadium parking lot. When I got to the front of the line, I clicked on the email confirmation, but the parking ticket had not yet been available. They let me wait for a while, but after a few minutes they told me I needed to purchase a new parking ticket or exit the stadium parking lot as they could not allow me to wait any longer. The man explained this often happens with Seatgeek tickets, as they're not always delivered for immediate use.
I reached out to Seatgeek for a refund (since I had to purchase a new parking ticket for use), and they refused to provide a refund. I explained to them multiple times that while I received the ticket, I did not receive it in time to use it. They have been incredibly difficult to work with - awful customer service. They can see that the parking ticket I purchased through them was never used, but they refuse to support. I will NEVER use them again. Highly suggest paying for parking through the event venue for another ticket service - DO NOT UES Seatgeek.

Listed my tickets by clicking sell in the MLB app and it takes you to SeatGeek. My tickets sold and were removed from my MLB app but I never received payment and SeatGeek says they have no record. They basically stole the tickets!
Garbage! Bought wrong date and the policy says it doesn't matter. The owner of the ticket hadn't even confirmed the tickets yet, I immediately contacted them and they said nothing they could do. I was still going to buy tickets for the date I meant to!
Bought tickets minutes into a presale. Quickly realized tickets in my confirmation email were not the ones I had initially selected. So bought others as quick as possible. Then called my Bank to get phone number *******335 for SeatGeek as you can't find it on their site. Talked to customer service within hour after purchase and later received email that refund was denied. So instead of fighting with them I sold tickets, which they charged another $50 for. Now I find out my money will be delivered after event in 6 months. I have used SeatGeek in past without issue on purchase. Sad to say I'm no longer a SeatGeek fan.
In town for business and decided to go to a Mariners game. So I buy one single seat ticket. I get a confirmation email showing I ordered one ticket, I think I'm all set. The next day my wife calls me and asks why I bought 2 tickets - two charges pending on our account in the same amount. I contact their lame chat customer service, because you can't actually talk to anyone. This allows them to keep saying "sorry you bought two" over and over. When I sent them a screenshot of the confirmation showing one ticket they said, "well, two minutes later we sent you another confirmation so you bought another ticket two minutes after the first". I of course did not do so and I told them I'd like the 2nd charge removed. I'm by myself! Nope, nothing they can (or will) do. I will be disputing the 2nd charge and will continue to dispute it over and over until they give up. I will not be scammed and this was an obvious one.
I am an IT professional traveling alone and of course never would have ordered another seat two minutes later. This is a system glitch or a scam and the receipt proves it. They should have refunded the bogus transaction immediately. It's not a lot of money, it's the principal. SeatGeek does not care about it's customers, nor it's reputation. I will never use their service again and will advise others to stay away as well. Shame on you.
Tip for consumers:
Stay away from SeatGeek. There are plenty of other ticket brokers to use.

I am pregnant and I was invited to the Tim McGraw concert in downtown St. Louis at the Enterprise Center by a work supplier. Typically, the parking garage sells out there for Blues hockey games, and I didn't want to be walking in downtown St. Louis at night pregnant, so I pre-purchased parking through SeatGeek for over $80. When I drove downtown and arrived to the parking garage, upon entry they were charging only $20. I took a picture of the $20 parking garage sign, and send it over to SeatGeek to ask for the difference in cost ($60), but they refused. It's highly disappointing they are taking advantage of customers.
Nothing on the SeatGeek site indicated that I'd need Google Wallet to download the tickets. I have an iPhone 6, which can't update to iOS 14 which is required to download Google Wallet app. Downloaded the Google Wallet app to Galaxy tablet, which will now have to accompany me to the game. :(
While purchasing tickets for Cabaret on Broadway, I accidentally purchased tics for the wrong date (had 2 windows open!). I immediately realized my mistake, found a customer service phone number and called. I explained what happened to 'Kate', and was told that it may be possible to exchange tickets for the date I actually wanted. About 4 hours later I received a call back with a confirmation that the exchange had gone through and that my new tics were available on the app. I know that SeatGeek policy is that all purchases are final, but because these tics were a few months out they were able to assist. I appreciated the customer service.

Purchased a parking pass for the US Open. Website shows 30 minute delivery, received the pass 12 hours later - after the tournament round for the day was over. No way to contact them either (or at least not obvious to me) to work a solution. SeatGeek did respond to me a couple of days later and refunded the purchase - which was great, but really needed the tickets. Anyway - Understand things happen.

Overall, I usually enjoy SeatGeek's services but I've had a couple issues with my tickets getting taken as I'm entering my payment info. They also need to go to strictly E-tickets... not "e-tickets" that you then have to print yourself or pay a ridiculous charge after standing in line at will call. Takes away a lot of the convenience of ordering online.
SeatGeek is the Web's largest event ticket search engine. Discover events you love, search all ticket sites, see seat locations and get the best deals on tickets.
Hey Kevin, thanks for sharing your experience here! To address your biggest concern here: We totally know what you're feeling with those e-tickets needing printing, and as a tech company, we're on board with a ticketing world where ALL tickets can be used straight from your mobile device! Unfortunately, SeatGeek doesn't call the shots on whether mobile entry will be accepted for an event - the venue does. Different venues have different setups, and while there are tons and tons of events out there that you can absolutely get into with tickets on your phone, there are also events that do not have a setup that reliably allows mobile entry. If we have any reason to be concerned about whether or not a venue will let you in with tickets on your phone, we turn off our QR codes for that event and instruct users to print their tickets instead. We know it's a pain, but it's a lot less of a hassle than being turned away from your event because the venue can't scan your tickets on your phone!
Until we live in that world just beyond the horizon where all events are mobile-friendly, we recommend reaching out to the venue themselves in instances where you want mobile entry but you're stick with print-at-home tickets. They may not be able to change anything right away, but hearing this kind of feedback may be the push they need to prioritize getting new scanners, software, or policies that will create a more fan-friendly experience!
