After pressing the buy option for 2 theater tickets, Seat Geek sent back an ambiguous message saying the transaction may not have gone through and that I should check my email. When I checked my email there was no confirmation from Seat Geek. Presuming that the transaction had failed, I ordered 2 more tickets. A minute later two email confirms arrived for 2 tickets each. I contacted Seat Geek's customer service immediately; they told me that all ticket sales were final, and that I should attempt to sell the tickets through their service. When I failed to get them to reconsider, I attempted to offer the 2 extra tickets for sale at a loss, but their service said they were ineligible! I don't often feel like a chump, but I did after dealing with them. 3 days later, Fernando from their customer service emailed to say they had secured a refund from the box office. After it was credited, I altered the review from 1 star to 4 stars. Walter Masterson
I purchased tickets from Seat Geek to Sabrina Carpenter two months prior to the show. I received the tickets via email and added them to my Ticketmaster account. Three hours prior to the concert I got a notification from Ticketmaster that the tickets were invalid. Seat Geek customer service was useless and we were unable to attend the show. I've now spent 18 days communicating with seat geek via email and phone in which I'm continually told their team is working on it. I'm out over $700 and this company has made no attempts to refund me despite their buyer guarantee. Horribly incompetent customer service, would never trust to buy from them again.
On 01/24 I ordered 24 tickets for BNP Paribas Open, Indian Wells for 03/21 and 03/22, tournament was canceled 3/08, on 3/09 I contacted SeatGeek an I was promised a refund in 5 to 7 business days.On 03/19 received an email from SeatGeek asking how I want my refund? Were the matter was already settled, or at least I believed so.
Contact them again and been told that my refund will take 90 days now! WOW
Reap off.
Call center is in Philippine and everybody was very nice and polite, but not helpful
My mobile tickets would not scan at the door I was denied entry to the game. It was very unfortunate because I had spent time and money getting to the game. I also paid over $50 for both tickets and they didn't work.
Hi There,
When tickets are denied and invalid at events, that is something we take very seriously. We want to make sure that we get this resolved for you. I have already reached out via email to make sure you are refunded for this issue and taken care of.
In the future if tickets do not work please call us at 888.506.4101 or use the chat feature in the app. Our guarantee is that we will get you replacements that are comparable or better or refund at 120% in instances like this!
I would like for someone to call me regarding this as I need a refund for my ticket. The seller sold my roommate and I the same ticket so I was not able to get in. I had to purchase another ticket in front of the venue.
Please call me at *******507 or refund my money at your earliest convenience.
Thank you.
This site has one of the better experiences for purchasing tickets. There was only one thing I found difficult. I needed to purchase tickets for 16 people. This could have been done more easily if I could have more flexibility in seat choices.
We purchased club level tickets for the Colorado Rockies and the tickets were delivered via email and easily loaded into the Wallet App on my iPhone. Arriving at the ballpark was a simple use of the phone and scanning the tickets. Super Easy!
Their Listings are misleading if you do not read them carefully. If you find one and leave it, and try to return to it, you may get a separate seat listing. Attempt to merely exchange was greeted with long phone wait and garbage line that it was already accepted, and they could not merely exchange it.
Hi Bill,
We're sorry to hear that you feel our listings are misleading. We work very hard to create the best possible user experience, which is why we build our interactive maps in-house and built a SeatGeek checkout page where order information is prominently displayed before you enter your payment information unlike the checkout experience on some of the sites we aggregate. If you would be willing to share any further details about how you think we could improve the clarity of our listings, we'd love to hear from you! Our email is hi@seatgeek.com.
I bought 4 tickets for me and three other friends. I was informed later that I would have to work that weekend. So I returned the tickets under the impression that they would be REFUNDED because the stupid site said "Refundable until Sept 28" and today is 9.16. Call customer service to get my money back but all they can offer is a promo code. And that sucks because I'll never use SeatGeek again. It's a $#*!ing scam. They take your money for your ticket, resale them when returned and KEEP YOUR MONEY! If I could give 0 stars I would. It's a SCAM! Save your time and money and go buy your tickets elsewhere.
Easy to use! Prices are great! Love the notifications, there are times Ive gotten notified of an event that i have been desiring to attend... thanks to the notification i remembered to purchase my tickets!
I had purchased tickets for an NBA game through ticket-master, i then went. To receive my tickets on seat geek, when i clicked accept tickets the website glitched and clicked decline, i now have the money removed from my bank account with no tickets to the game and have been trying to get into contact with the support team for nearly 2 weeks with not even a response, terrible customer service and definitely will not be using this site again
Tip for consumers:
DONT USE IT
Bought two tickets for a show that was selling out and SeekGeek reversed my transaction so I tried again and didn't have the available funds to finish the purchase due to two pending charges from them. Missing my favorite band because of this error and this was my first time ever using them. Called my bank and I have to wait a couple of days for the error and funds to clear up. Really disappointed.
Purchased 2 tix to an event 7 mo ago. Did't receive any correspondence at all. 2 days prior to the event I reached out on the event. Didn't receive any communication at all and didn't go to the event. Lost $700. Afterwards, I finally chatted with a rep and was shown a std email supposedly sent to me 7 mo ago. I informed the rep that I never received anything and his response was basically too bad. They have no process of notifying customers of upcoming events that have been already paid.
Tip for consumers:
business is not structured to inform customers of all facts involved in purchases.

I purchased tickets for the Mets game in NY on June 18,2017 4 months ago and have yet to get them. I am traveling to NY specifically for this game and have no tickets in hand. I have tried reaching Seat Geek who my order says I purchased them through by email (3 times now) and the only number I find is picked up on a computer sounding recorder which I have left several messages. Can someone please contact me!
This place is my go-to. JJ Re$#*! introduced me and now its the only place to buy tickets imo.
Here you can look at your total costs including fees and everything so youre not surprised to see how steep the fees are when you check out.
They gave us the wrong tix. Correcting it was extremely difficult because they weren't understanding the issue. Then they said they were waiting for seller to resolve it. He/she did not. It was a mess and different SeatGeek people were handling it all the time. No understanding or continuity. I final complained to our credit card company who stopped payment and got our money back. We got replacement tix on our own with a different company, but they were more expensive. The only thing good I can say is that SeatGeek gave us an additional 25%(?) payment as an inconvenience fee. Still, I would never, ever, use them again!
Hi James,
We are really sorry to hear your experience with us wasn't the greatest.
At SeatGeek we really strive to make sure people's experiences with seeing live events is easy. Unfortunately, in some situations the seller cannot fulfill the order. Which is what happened here. We did refund with the extra payment, as we understand what an inconvenience this caused you.
Our guarantee is that if for any reason the order cannot be fulfilled we do our best to either find replacement tickets that are comparable or refund at 120%.
Sorry again for the added hassle with your order!
Tried to buy multiple tickets in different areas for a company gathering but it would only let me select one set of tickets. I needed to be able to put it in a cart, contunue shopping and check out at the end. Instead, I had to make multiple transactions.
Hi Michael,
Thanks so much for the feedback, here. We can totally understand why that would be frustrating functionality for our site, and how it would add some convenience to be able to purchase multiple listings at once. The reason this isn't currently possible on our platform is that SeatGeek functions in the secondary ticket market-- folks reselling their tickets-- so the inventory doesn't all belong to one entity. Since a lot of our sellers are just regular users like you trying to sell tickets that they can no longer use, enabling buyers to put their inventory on hold indefinitely while they browse, prohibiting other customers from purchasing that ticket, and with the chance that the ticket may or may not ultimately be bought by the customer putting it on hold-- that would put our sellers at a real disadvantage.
Again, we can totally see the appeal of being able to place some listings on hold while you look for the rest of the seats you'd like to buy. But, for now, this is the best balance we've found between serving our buyers and our sellers. We hope you understand, since it's never our goal to inconvenience any of our customers.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Bought playoff tickets through this site that turned out to be duplicated. We were denied admission to the game and are out $500. We're disputing the charge now... but shouldn't have to.
Hi Kris,
Hi,
Thanks for getting in touch, and our apologies for the inconvenience.
You should reach out to the vendor who you purchased the tickets from to facilitate your refund. SeatGeek is a ticket aggregator, so we display tickets but do not own them and are not responsible for delivery. Since we did not own any tickets ourselves, we did not provide you with invalid tickets. That being said, you should definitely reach out to the vendor who sold you invalid tickets to provide your refund.
If you're unsure of the vendor you purchased from there are two ways that work well:
(1) look at your credit card statement to see which company charged you for the tickets, or
(2) look at the confirmation email you received when you made the purchase.
Hope that helps!
On July 2022 we purchased 2 tickets on SeatGeek to the Nelly concert at M Resort Spa and Casino in Las Vegas for the night of Sept 17th 2022. On the morning of the Sept 17th, my wife called the venue around 10:00am to find out a little bit more about the location and attire for the evening. At that time, we were told that the concert was rescheduled to the night before (Sept 16th).
We called both M Resort Spa and Casino and SeatGeek. Neither are claiming responsibility and are saying it is the others responsibility. Ultimately, no refund was provided. Not even a credit was given from either.
Does this sound fair to anyone?
I enjoy the rankings of the ticket prices from extremely good to fair. It makes it easier to decide on which provides the best value for the buck. I find the site very easy to navigate and particularly like seeing the seat locations on the screen immediately.
Love the app and enjoy the lower fees and service charges that SeatGeek provides compared to others. The maps provided are clear and easy to understand. The buying process was smooth. The transfer option is easy and really helps when splitting tickets to others in your group.
After paying for tickets on 12/14 but not receiving the tickets less than 24 hours before our event, I was terrified to read all of the negative reviews here.
The tickets came this morning on the seat geek app and worked fine for admission to the event. All worked out fine.

The process was very smooth and easy. Everything was to me within a half hour and that's great. The emails you receive after you make the purchase to tell you that your tickets are on their way is very helpful.
I had no problems navigating through the system and bought my tickets with ease. It was quick and relatively painless to use. The tickets were promptly sent to my phone where I was able to view them in digital form.
There were 3 seats available in a section and I just wanted 2. Why could I buy either 1 or 3 seats?
To print my e-tickets, I need to download the App and I really don't want their damn app. How else can I print or display my tickets?
Hey Alan, thanks for sharing your feedback! You've got two issues here that we want to address, so we're going to take them one at a time.
When it comes to why you couldn't buy just two tickets: When sellers list tickets with us, they have options to turn on different "split" settings, meaning rules around how a group of tickets may be split. In general, sellers really want to avoid getting stuck with a single hard-to-sell ticket, so it's important to them to have rules that prevent this from happening. When a seller has three tickets listed for sale as in your example, they may set up a rule that will not allow two tickets to be sold from that group, since that would leave them with just one ticket left. If you're looking for a two tickets, we recommend setting the Quantity into your search from the event page - that way, any tickets that can not be sold in a group of two will not be displayed and you can find the very best deal for the number of tickets you want.
Looking at your tickets, it looks like they don't need printing at all! The venue in this case is totally cleared for mobile entry. You can just open your tickets on SeatGeek.com using your mobile browser, and the site will show you some QR codes that you can use to get into the event. If you're having difficulty accessing those codes, please don't hesitate to reach out to us and we'll gladly help you get set up for the game!
