After pressing the buy option for 2 theater tickets, Seat Geek sent back an ambiguous message saying the transaction may not have gone through and that I should check my email. When I checked my email there was no confirmation from Seat Geek. Presuming that the transaction had failed, I ordered 2 more tickets. A minute later two email confirms arrived for 2 tickets each. I contacted Seat Geek's customer service immediately; they told me that all ticket sales were final, and that I should attempt to sell the tickets through their service. When I failed to get them to reconsider, I attempted to offer the 2 extra tickets for sale at a loss, but their service said they were ineligible! I don't often feel like a chump, but I did after dealing with them. 3 days later, Fernando from their customer service emailed to say they had secured a refund from the box office. After it was credited, I altered the review from 1 star to 4 stars. Walter Masterson
I purchased tickets from Seat Geek to Sabrina Carpenter two months prior to the show. I received the tickets via email and added them to my Ticketmaster account. Three hours prior to the concert I got a notification from Ticketmaster that the tickets were invalid. Seat Geek customer service was useless and we were unable to attend the show. I've now spent 18 days communicating with seat geek via email and phone in which I'm continually told their team is working on it. I'm out over $700 and this company has made no attempts to refund me despite their buyer guarantee. Horribly incompetent customer service, would never trust to buy from them again.
SeatGeek is amazing, very easy to use and the ticket prices are unbeatable! I was very happy with my purchase and the ease of getting into the stadium. I definitely prefer seat geek over StubHub or Gametime!
I've used SeatGeek five times now to buy tickets to sporting events and it's always a smooth, easy transaction. I get my tickets in minutes and they're sent right to my phone. Easiest process ever no waiting!
You can't purchase more than one parking pass… I'm sure they just want more customer info to sell $$$$.
P.O.S(piece of) app only allows you to buy one at a time, waste of time, this is why I don't even go to concerts anymore, all this technology and no efficiency at all.

Bull$#*! parking passes, one at a time, why you keep asking BS questions?
Here is my email to seat geek the day after they took my money for tickets I never used: Please refund me the money I asked for in an email I sent to seat geek right after I paid you $106.12, when 4 tickets were $15 = $60. It was after I paid that that I found out there was an $11.40 charge for each ticket. I then said through an email: please cancel... and this was a day before the game. The game is over now, I cannot sell the tickets from the past. I want the charge you took from my bank account erased or refunded or I will be going to my bank to file fraud charges against seat geek.
The photo was taken by me of the game in question. It shows the stadium was less than half full. I bought tickets at the park the day of the game, I never accepted anything seat geek sent me online. I also included my bank statement showing that they have taken money out of my account after the game.

As far as finding tickets, the ratings and so on, I'm satisfied. What really disappoints me and pisses me off is, the ticket prices are bad enough. But then, when you're ready to pull the trigger anyway, there they go, just like TicketBastard, surcharges and fees. Total BS. I mean really, a $3 a ticket fee for printing the damned tickets myself with MY printer, my ink?
We purchased tickets for Billy Strings at the Ko Ko Booth Amphitheater in Cary, NC. I paid over $500 for pit tickets in front of the stage. When we arrived, we were told the venue does not accept QR codes. They only accept bar codes tickets. My attempts at reaching customer service were met with dead ends. They have no number to call. I'm out the money with no other recourse. I will never be buying any tickets through this site ever again. Very dissatisfied customer.
Beware! Unreliable seller! Concert was advertised as presented in 3 days with NO disclosure that it had been rescheduled for a date 6 months away.
I bought a ticket for an event scheduled in 3 days, but received a statement that a ticket for the event would be delivered to me within 48 hours of the event occurring over 6 months from today. Which I am unable to attend! Bait and switch! No recourse because the event was rescheduled and not "cancelled." I paid $60.00 fee to seller for this "privilege." Overpriced and fraudulent. I'm apparently standing in the "stupid" line and DeadBeatSeatGeek profits from suckers like me. Bad experience.
Tip for consumers:
Beware of overt false information.
Beware of no response to requests for help.
Beware of exorbitant fees added on the last purchase page.
Beware of waiting periods up to several months to receive, or not receive tickets.
Before purchasing tickets I was made aware of the return policy. Once I found out I could no longer attend the event I began the return process. They still have not given me my return and the person I was communicating with no longer replies. It has been two weeks
This is an absolutely horrid service. I purchased very expensive tickets to a Celtics playoff game 3 days before the game. 24 hours later, the tickets were still 'pending.' A few hours after that, they were cancelled by the seller, who then relisted them on SeatGeek for twice the price I had purchased them for the day prior. By then, of course, ALL of the tickets through all outlets were far more expensive. This is criminal.
I purchased tickets to a concert 2 years ago prior to COVID and never got them. After multiple emails and phone calls ro SeatGeek with the same response every time..."we are trying to contact the seller. The seller is having issues with the transfer platform." we still do not have our tickets. Now we miss the concert, are out $600 and have wasted time off used for our jobs due to the rescheduling of this concert twice. We only used SeatGeek because we could purchase 4 tickets vs 2 at a time through Ticketmaster. Next time, we'll pay more and risk being separated from our group just to ensure ticket delivery.
Tip for consumers:
Pay more to use a 1st party vendor and avoid major disappointment.

SeatGeek sold us two tickets at ~$600 each, and then was unable to deliver the ticket. This industry can use some regulation. Is there any legitimate reason that an electronic ticket cannot be delivered instantaneously following payment in this day and age? No! SeatGeek should feel shamed for establishing a platform for scammers. U.S. Law should prohibit the sale of tickets that cannot be delivered on a routine basis, or sellers need to compensate buyer with 2X of the ticket price.
I didn't have a problem with this order it went smoothly and I received the tickets instantly. However, before this I tried to buy tickets for this same games twice. The first time it told me my seats were pending and about 24 hours later I received an email saying they were no longer available. So i went back to find new seats and to my surprise the exact seats that I tried to purchase the first time but was rejected were there (and they were 30 dollars more expensive). I tried again to purchase those seats and then a little over 24 hours later received the same response that it was "no longer available" I understand that this can happen sometimes but to have the same tickets on there twice and at different prices is a little frustrating for the buyer. If I didn't need to purchase these tickets quickly for a gift I would have looked elsewhere
The process of finding and choosing a row is fine. I would prefer to choose seats also. The payment process was cumbersome. I had to re-enter the (same) information three times before the site would take it. I was pleased to be able to get tickets, but I found out later that stubhub has better fee structure.
Seatgeek displays an utter lack of concern for their customers. I purchased tickets to a Sharks playoff game which were never delivered. I called Seatgeek multiple times the day of the event and never got through to an actual human. My emails were also not returned. Not only am I out the cost of the tickets, but also food, travel and whatever my wasted time is worth. My only recourse was to stop payment on my CC and use my contacts in the media to get my story out to as wide an audience as possible. Stay far away and use any other service as it is obvious that Seatgeek does not care about customer service.
Hey Gregory, thanks for reaching out to us! It looks like you may be referring to a different order than the number shared, UQ05898 instead of 625-2DL5GQ, is that correct?
It looks like this order was placed with a third-party vendor, FanXchange. When ordering from a third-party vendor, any emails you receive regarding your tickets will be from them, not from SeatGeek, including their contact information. It doesn't look like we have any records of a call from your number, so the number you were most likely trying to reach was for FanXchange and not SeatGeek.
That said, we do expect third-party vendors who list on our site to provide an acceptable level of customer service and it sounds like something didn't go quite right here. We'll be reaching out to you over email to get a bit more information on what things look like from your end and how we can best assist in getting this situation addressed for you. Please keep an eye out for that email, and we'll be talking with you more soon!

SeatGeek claims the only way to access the tickets I have purchased is through Google Wallet. Unfortunately Google Wallet, according to Google technical help, is not available for the iphone. Days go by I sometimes receive an email from SeatGeek, but so far no tickets and no refund. I contacted my bank without much response. Suggestions?
I urge others believing they will receive tickets on their iphone through Google Wallet to check first.
Bid on something money gets taken out of my account waiting for the tickets don't get them because somebody on the some other end decides they don't want to sell them for that price all of a sudden third time it's happened to me waste of time
I seem to have a problem with this site about 4 out of 5 times I try to use it. Customer Service has to do some weird work around. Today, they have NCAA regional listed at 3:30 AM, instead of 5 PM so tickets do not show up. I called and they say they have been having trouble since yesterday. Unbelievable. Stay away.
Every thing was fine, except I was a bit put out by a fee for two tickets of almost $60. The tickets were apparently brokered by Seat Geek from Ticket Master. I didn't see the fees until check out. I let it go, but it was not a pleasant surprise. It's difficult to compares prices of different seats when some have very high additional fees and others don't.
It would be very helpful and more transparent if the price of the ticket shown when hovering mouse over the seat, included all fees and surcharges, since some tickets have no surcharge and some have a surcharge equal to an additional third of the price shown.
As it is, we really don't know the price of the ticket until we check out
Hey John,
We completely agree about not wanting to be surprised by fees at checkout!
When you are searching for tickets, we have an option you can enable that shows the cost of tickets with fees. This way you know exactly how much a ticket will cost before you even get to checkout! As a default this feature is set to off, as many other platforms don't have it and we want people to see our base cost is the same or better, but you can easily enable it so going forward there is no sticker shock!
Warm Regards,

The instructors, lessons and business ethics are great! Golf is one game you can play or try to play, for a long time (50 years in my case). I had a mid-level membership with RevolutionGolf.com ($57/year). This year, I had a total hip replacement and can not benefit from lessons, so asked if I could have a refund of this years annual subscription. AdamR after a few minutes, issued me a refund!. It is great that there are still some companies that have: "Good Heart".
Tip for consumers:
Beware of their false claim of 100% guarantee. Both Seat Geek and their
re-seller Ticket Zoom did not sell at market value.
Hi Bruce,
We're so sorry to hear about this horrible experience! Hidden fees should never happen on SeatGeek. We include all seller fees in the prices we display on our maps so that you can compare the true prices of tickets and so that there aren't any unpleasant surprises at checkout. We also no longer redirect you to the seller's website for checkout.
When you check out on SeatGeek, you should stay on the SeatGeek website, and it should just be one page where the prices are clearly broken out before you fill out all of your payment information.
We're not sure what exactly could have happened in your case, but if you want to email hi@seatgeek.com with the details, we'd love to get to the bottom of it.
Theres some problem with seat geek tix at td garden - its known to the guys at the gate. The electronic tickets sometimes dont work. We thank god figured out to use the pdf version, but this was ridiculous. Taking three kids to a basketball game and we couldnt get in.
Hi Brad — our developers are currently looking into what may be causing this type of recurring issue at the venue. We appreciate you taking the time to report in on the issue.

I got tickets to louder than life festival. It was advertised that I was buying an e ticket. They instead delivered a paper that I have to print out that says not a ticket for entry and I have to exchange it at the box office. I'm coming from 5 hours away and I don't feel secure that I will get in. I tried to get a refund so I could buy them on a secure site and I can only sell it for half the price. I really hope this works
I bought tickets on the mobile site. I opened them in my account, no barcode. It says you must add to Apple Wallet but has no button to do so. On a whim I download the app. Log in again. STILL I must add them to my Apple Wallet, but at least note there's a button. I do. I finally get them open and enter. What a terrible experience!
SeatGeek promises your tickets will be next to each other. I bought two tickets to Illenium in Denver and the seller sent two separate tickets in entirely different sections. One ticket was the promised section and the other was two levels up in the stands. The listing was a single listing for two tickets in the promised section. Our sections are accessed by two different gates. Who would by two tickets to take their significant other to a concert just to say "see you after the show!". I have tried to get this resolved through SeatGeek's support but I've gotten nowhere. The seller said to send the ticket back and it's been sitting in a sent (but not accepted) state for over a day. I had to make the call to just buy another ticket for myself so that I can be somewhat near my wife at this show. I will never go through SeatGeek again.
Tip for consumers:
I did have a support ticket open but all SeatGeek can do is act as a middle man. They promise something but it's really put to the seller on the other end to come through. If they don't, SeatGeek can only ask them to come through. If they still don't, you're out of luck.

Ticket purchasing.
I'd give zero stars if I could. They use the guise of being helpful to notify you of parking - but they only give you their pricing information, not the whole truth. The parking link led me to pay $60 bucks for parking in advance, making it seem that I would not get parking if I didn't buy in advance. Then I get there and find out there is plenty of parking for $25-$30. And the lot I prepaid for was further away! Complete, intentional rip-off. Also, tix have to be on your mobile phone. What if your battery dies? Such a garbage experience, that I simply wont go to any event that requires me to use this app. Complete trash.
Hi Ulises,
Hope you are doing well and thank you for sharing your experience with our platform.
It is not our intention to ever mislead you about the need to use our platform to get parking for events. Our platform is a secondary ticket market meaning sellers have the freedom to set prices based on availability and what they feel the tickets are worth. In this case there were still parking passes available at the event but there was a chance that there would not be.
As for using a mobile phone, many venues are moving to mobile only ticketing. This means that tickets are only able to be scanned off of a mobile device. To be safe about places with bad reception we encourage people to take screen shots of their tickets they can pull up.
Heard their ads on podcasts and finally had a chance to use them for tickets to our local NHL arena. Easy interface, quick ticket delivery. I think their algorithm for best seats may need some work. But was easy enough to navigate.
SeatGeek is the Web's largest event ticket search engine. Discover events you love, search all ticket sites, see seat locations and get the best deals on tickets.
Hi Kristen — thanks for your feedback! Once placed, all orders enter a pending state that may be a max of 24 hours. This is to confirm the inventory with the seller to ensure the same set of tickets do not sell twice if submitted for purchase at approximately the same time. It looks like the tickets you originally selected were no longer available because they sold to another user who had purchased before you had and before the listing came down. The more expensive tickets that you saw in the same section/row was the newly most affordable option that only displays after the lowest price in that section/row is purchased.
Having this experience twice in a row is uncommon, so we do apologize that that was your experience. Again, thank you for taking the time to write in with your feedback. We appreciate it much!
