After pressing the buy option for 2 theater tickets, Seat Geek sent back an ambiguous message saying the transaction may not have gone through and that I should check my email. When I checked my email there was no confirmation from Seat Geek. Presuming that the transaction had failed, I ordered 2 more tickets. A minute later two email confirms arrived for 2 tickets each. I contacted Seat Geek's customer service immediately; they told me that all ticket sales were final, and that I should attempt to sell the tickets through their service. When I failed to get them to reconsider, I attempted to offer the 2 extra tickets for sale at a loss, but their service said they were ineligible! I don't often feel like a chump, but I did after dealing with them. 3 days later, Fernando from their customer service emailed to say they had secured a refund from the box office. After it was credited, I altered the review from 1 star to 4 stars. Walter Masterson
I purchased tickets from Seat Geek to Sabrina Carpenter two months prior to the show. I received the tickets via email and added them to my Ticketmaster account. Three hours prior to the concert I got a notification from Ticketmaster that the tickets were invalid. Seat Geek customer service was useless and we were unable to attend the show. I've now spent 18 days communicating with seat geek via email and phone in which I'm continually told their team is working on it. I'm out over $700 and this company has made no attempts to refund me despite their buyer guarantee. Horribly incompetent customer service, would never trust to buy from them again.
Paid over $240 for tickets that never arrived. Emailed customer service two days before event who assured the tickets would arrive that day…. Not only did they not arrive that day, they never arrived period. Was told if they didn't arrive that evening to contact them. Sent multiple emails, & multiple calls. Never got a response from the emails and stayed on hold for over and hour was never connected to a rep.
First, i bought tickets during they day. Got two confirmation emails. One that day and one the next day stating that my order has came through and processed. Then, my tickets weren't showing up so i emailed them asking where they were. I received an email one day before the game stating the tickets were no longer available. HOW? So, after a long day of wasted time on horrible customer service the supervisor Sean Gil proceeded to tell me that it was the sellers fault and that there was nothing he could do for me. Horrible business, horrible service.
NEVER USE THIS WEBSITE
I purchased two tickets for the Astros game and i noticed it was for the wrong date! The game was already being played if not already been done. Upon reading these reviews, I feel like i am not going to get my $60 back for just a simple date error. I emailed them, just waiting on the response (if i get one). Will give a better star rating if we get this problem resolved.
Well after a few days of waiting I got an email back and the refunded me my money! Thank you SeatGeek for working with me and realizing the situation... i would for sure buy tickets from you!

Bought tickets for an event. Now I am unable to go, but they won't let me sell the tickets until the day before the event, making it impossible to sell. No where did they warn you of this before you buy.

Thank you for the feedback. Apologies for any frustration with the resell process. Depending on the venue or event, certain tickets aren't available until 24 - 48 hours before the event. This is done to eliminate duplicate tickets from being put on the market and make the buying process safer for all buyers.

I checked around did my homework and got the seats for a game at what was rated as a decent price but when the tickets came... There are printed priced on the tickets let's just say I paid literally double the price that was printed on the ticket... And the seats weren't even the ones that showed up on the picture... Soo pissed off never using them again but live and learn

I like that you guys don't add the irrationally excessive Ticketmaster fees! Great experience! The only issue I had was that it was freezing cold after the event, but this is hardly related to the ticket purchase. It was great, thanks!
What used to be my go to has now become my delete the app. I want tangible tickets even if I have to print them and now I had to download some other app (flash seats?) and provide my credit card info only to be assured the app will act as my tickets. I would never have bought if I knew. Now I'll just never use it again to be certain that doesn't happen.

Ideally, all tickets can be delivered within SeatGeeks app. However, some venues and teams do have partnerships with other ticket platforms (in this case, FlashSeats) and require their fans to download and use that one platform for ticket delivery. Unfortunately, SeatGeek has no control over this and cannot override the venue policy, so when our users want to go to certain events, their tickets do have to be transferred through these third-party apps.
We do our best to make that as clear as possible prior to check (listing the tickets as mobile transfers, explaining the transfer process in the confirmation email, and providing a walk-through video on how to accept the tickets), but we know that when you're expecting to receive tickets through SeatGeek, this can be a frustrating experience.

I used seat geek first after I heard about it from Philip Defranco's Youtube page. The $20 off first purchase offer was fantastic. Seat geek has my local AHL team tickets available which was an unexpected surprise. I have since used the app twice for tickets and it hasbeen super easy and fairly cheap as well. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
Purchased tickets day before the concert! Checked multiple other sites before purchasing the tickets. Same tickets were listed for $40.00 more on other sites. Very simple to navigate site and complete purchase. Got the confirmation right away and tickets shortly after.
The good reviews listed above are coming from people whom work at "seat geek"
Don't let any of them fool you, this website is fraudulent, and it would be a shame to see anyone else loose their money. DONT USE IT.

While on my way to the Dodger stadium after purchasing my tickets through this ridiculous site I come to find out that I can't even go VIEW my tickets which I obviously need to get in the gate... Beyond annoyed and irritated with this idiotic website. Then com to find out I CANT get a refund with these tickets. I tried opening them through an android and an iPhone and even a laptop! Down right pissed off and can't even deal with this website anymore! Waste of time, money and gas!

This has been the biggest nightmare of an experience ever. Good luck getting customer service, every site actually steers you to robot chat instead of a customer service number. You buy tickets and go through a series of emails, create an account, download a app and then you have to accept your tickets. Then you have to create an account with ticketmaster where you do the same thing and receive your "tickets" by QR code. 2 people ended up not being able to go to the concert so I wanted to sell or return them and they wouldn't allow me. Then the site wouldn't allow me to put the tickets for sale on the site and the ticketmaster app wouldn't allow me to either. When I finally spoke with customer service multiple times nothing was done, they just kept telling me to list them on the app. I miss the days when you bought tickets and got actual tickets in your hand. I will never go through seatgeek and this 3rd party mess ever again

The first time I bought a ticket from Seat Geek everything went really smooth, I went for a second time to buy another ticket and my ticket was either stolen or the seller made it unavailable even though I had already bought it. They don't have a reliable phone number or email so there is no way to contact them. They said they gave me a refund for my ticket as a promo code on the app and when I went to use it to buy another ticket the code was invalid. For tickets that I just bought I had asked for a refund to use my previous promo code and they put my $600 into another promo code that I could use and that was invalid as well. So now I am down $740 and now way to use the money.
49ers were visiting and that's my husband's team.
So got 6th row tickets for him and he was HAPPY!
Confirmation was almost immediate and printing the tickets was easy.
The only thing that would have made it better was if I could have avoided having to print and just use mobile tickets instead.
Overall, great day, great seats, great win for my husband's 49ers!
It was my first time buying tickets for a concert and it was easy. I was kinda confused that I didn't get my tickets right away due to the the third party policy by staples center but at the end it was simple.
This is the third time I've used SeatGeek and I've had no problems, the prices are good I get access to the tickets quick and have no problem getting into the event. I'm very pleased and will definitely recommend this app to my friends as well as continuing to use it myself.
My ticket for 6/3/19 worked perfectly.
My ticket for 6/4/19 didn't work at all. After 20 minutes of refreshing the seatgeek app, refreshing my emails, walking around the stadium to multiple gates and then downloading the mlb app, nothing worked but the customer service team at Wrigley field printed a manual ticket for me to get into the game.

I was trying to get tickets for a James Blake concert, and they had all these pricings listed. Yet, no matter how many times I placed an order, my order would never go through. A screen would always show that someone had already purchased the ticket, yet when I refresh, the tickets are still listed as available! I tried ordering 10 TIMES over a period of 4 HOURS, and now tickets have all ran out. Biggest scam ever.

I bought tickets to an Orioles vs Red Sox game in Baltimore. When I received the tickets, the email confirmed they were for the right game but the actual tickets attached were for a different game. I asked for help but eventually had to buy new tickets and leave for Baltimore in order to make it to the game on time. The next day I had an email in my inbox that had arrived long after I had already left for the game. It contained the right tickets but it was too late for me to be able to access them. I was sent the wrong tickets but now they won't give me a refund. I've been a loyal customer with SeatGeek for several years but won't be using them any more after this.

Ordered tickets 2 months before event. Never received a email to claim tickets. The day before the event I received a cancelation. Customer service is overseas and are terrible. Never received a refund after several attempts. Don't get screwed by this company like I did.
Every ticket you buy tells you printing required on the tickets page, even when they are e-tickets. Ive printed multiple e-tickets unnecessarily because I worry that they will not work if I do not. Also all of the promo codes I have entered for some reason do not work on my purchases, even on eligible for promo code tickets

For further explanation, when a ticket is marked as "e-ticket", that simply means that the ticket will be delivered electronically rather than physically through the mail or at a box office. It doesn't necessarily mean that it will be able to be scanned from a mobile device. Whether or not that' the case is decided wholly by the venue. Ideally, all tickets can be scanned right from our app or the SeatGeek website, but some venues do require tickets to be printed.
In regards to the promo codes--some of our promo codes are only valid on a user's first purchase. So, if you're purchased tickets in the past on SeatGeek (even if it was on a different account), those promo codes won't be redeemable. However, if you're looking to redeem a different promo code and it's not allowing you to, that's definitely something we can look into! Just send our support team and email or give them a call and we'll look into what might be going on there.

SeatGeek is just a ticket aggregator……Guilty by association as I see it. Would love to grab some offered tickets on SeatGeeks site, but can not chance a let down before or on the day of the concert. Why be an aggregator of such that choose to disrespect the work that goes into earning the money we pay, inflated at that, to see a artist
I like the straightforward process of buying tickets on SeatGeek. The ease of finding the seat that you want. Also the ability to resell your tickets if needed. I also find the prices fairly reasonable. I'm a fan!
Purchasing ticket was fine but Heinz Field isnt set up to take E tickets very well. Long line to get in anyway then sent to a separate (and long) line to scan my phone. Tortuous! If I had known I would have printed my ticket.
