After pressing the buy option for 2 theater tickets, Seat Geek sent back an ambiguous message saying the transaction may not have gone through and that I should check my email. When I checked my email there was no confirmation from Seat Geek. Presuming that the transaction had failed, I ordered 2 more tickets. A minute later two email confirms arrived for 2 tickets each. I contacted Seat Geek's customer service immediately; they told me that all ticket sales were final, and that I should attempt to sell the tickets through their service. When I failed to get them to reconsider, I attempted to offer the 2 extra tickets for sale at a loss, but their service said they were ineligible! I don't often feel like a chump, but I did after dealing with them. 3 days later, Fernando from their customer service emailed to say they had secured a refund from the box office. After it was credited, I altered the review from 1 star to 4 stars. Walter Masterson
I purchased tickets from Seat Geek to Sabrina Carpenter two months prior to the show. I received the tickets via email and added them to my Ticketmaster account. Three hours prior to the concert I got a notification from Ticketmaster that the tickets were invalid. Seat Geek customer service was useless and we were unable to attend the show. I've now spent 18 days communicating with seat geek via email and phone in which I'm continually told their team is working on it. I'm out over $700 and this company has made no attempts to refund me despite their buyer guarantee. Horribly incompetent customer service, would never trust to buy from them again.
I bought tickets for the Cavs game May 4th and I was told at check is get a confirmation email, have yet to receive a confirmation email or a receipt or the tickets (surprise, surprise). I have tried to email them a few times now to see what the deal is, and where the tickets are, but clearly they only care about getting back to people on here to save their name. But for real seatgeek if you could get back at me that'd be nice.
We purchased tickets through SeatGeek for a Knicks game at Madison Square Garden. There was a glitch with the tickets and the service provided by SeatGeek to both rectify and refund a portion of the ticket price was unexpected. If you're unsure where to buy tickets from I would recommmend using SeatGeek - it's comforting to know they have your back if something goes a miss.
Special thanks to Miranda, who helped us on this occasion.
We will be back for sure
SeatGeek sold a game ticket and parking, took my money, "confirmed" the purchases by email, and didn't deliver that ticket leaving me stuck outside the gate at a sold out game. After I stood in the heat for an hour talking to customer service, SG said they would refund the ticket money, but they WOULD NOT refund parking because I used it. Obviously, I only battled ballgame traffic and parked at the stadium because SeatGeek "confirmed" I had a ticket to the game. SG kept money for parking (including fees that they charged beyond what the seller received) after they falsely said I had a ticket. Won't use again. Would recommend looking for another company that has better customer service, just in case something goes wrong.
My husband and I ordered tickets off of SeatGeek for the NCAA Tournament coming up in Louisville. The tickets we purchased stated they were for all sessions. When we received our tickets we only had tickets for session one. We attempted to call and email SeatGeek and have yet to hear back from them. We then contacted customer service for the seller who told us that it was not the seller's fault but the tickets were posted incorrectly and we would only be receiving tickets for session 1 and would need to go and purchase tickets for session 2. We have now planned a trip for these games and do not have tickets to one of the sessions. Will never be going through SeatGeek for tickets to anything again.
Hi Amanda, thank you for your feedback and we're so sorry that you've encountered this issue. We'd love to help make this right and we have a CX representative reaching out to you ASAP to help you out.
I don; t like the way that the site allows navigation, it make the process overly complicated. I buy a lot of tickets to events and this website is one of the harder ones to navigate and get what i want. I should be able to go in choose my seats and check out not this whole find a level on the left get kicked off, go back in find my level on the left pick my seats get kicked out again, and reiterate 4 or 5 times before i can actually buy my tickets. Have bought thru Seat Geek multiple times on different computers, devices and on networks at home, at work and on the go (mobile) and the experience is always the same. Have actually given up a few times and just skipped the event so i don't have to go trhu the frustration.
Hey Antonio,
Sorry you are having this experience trying to purchase tickets, it doesn't quite sound like our platform is working how it should for you.
Could you please give us a call at 888.506.4101 and one of our reps here can take a look and figure out what is going on, so ticket buying is easier in the future for you!
Warm Regards,
SeatGeek CX Team
I bought these tickets for my son's 9th birthday and they were perfect for the price. He had an experience he will never forget and seatgeek made that possible. I love seatgeek and refer all my friends to use it.
Saved time and annoyance with just 1-click to move from section to section to see availability and price range. I didn't have to unclick the last section I was viewing! Also the fees were clearly stated on every seat during my search. I didn't have to put in my credit card to find out what the total cost with fees was going to be!
I ordered a single ticket for a very hot show on Broadway. I had other options for purchasing the ticket, but I chose SeatGeek. BIG MISTAKE. Three days later (yeah, not the next day, but three days later...) they call me to let me know that the seat I ordered had been purchased by someone else and it was unavailable. The ticket I ordered was to cost $224. They let me know that the only other options they had available were $700+. Had they contacted me right away, perhaps I could have found another option, but the show was completely sold out the rest of the time I was in New York, so I was out of luck. You're telling me your computer didn't know INSTANTLY as I placed my order that the tickets were purchased by someone else? Terrible service and obviously mismanaged.
Very easy to navigate and see what seats were available. Very easy transaction. Was even able to use a special security line at the game for app/electronic tix, which was surprisingly nice and saved time and hassle.
Taking way to much of a cut from the ticket price... not trying to pay your bills...

I have used SeatGeek to buy MLB, NFL and NHL tickets. Each time I quickly found great seats that fit my needs at a great price. The search and buying process is simple and the speed of their website is much faster than the other big names in the market. This is my new favorite site to buy tickets
Got to the stadium window they tried to charge me up a extra 40$... so you got inside the stadium pulled up my seatgeek app && got tickets right there for 20$ and within 5min Og entering the stadium I had my ticket & was on my seat for tip-off
I mistakenly ordered (4) tickets for the same event, I only needed (2). I called to get the extra (2) tickets canceled. SeatGeek passed me around for about 2 hours, with no results. Finally someone told me they don't do refunds. I will never do business with this company again.

Got excellent seats for a Phillies-Mets game here in Phila the day before the game. However, I think that the fees are still way too high, especially charging a delivery fee for me to print my own tickets.
Fast, cheap and easy! Thank you for the tickets. Fast, cheap and easy! Thank you for the tickets. Fast, cheap and easy! Thank you for the tickets. Fast, cheap and easy! Thank you for the tickets. Fast, cheap and easy! Thank you for the tickets.
Look i was unsuccessful in purchasing my tickets. The first time the price went up 17 dollars a ticket from the time I ordered to the time i was trying to check out. The next three times seatgeek couldn't confirm my purchase for 3 separate transactions but they still have my money! Please dont use this app
Hi Adrian, thank you for the feedback and we're so sorry that you encountered this issue. SeatGeek shows ticket listings from the secondary ticket market which is very dynamic. Especially for popular events, the ticket prices can change rapidly based on demand. We work to make sure our customers are aware if a price has changed. There is an authorization hold on your card at checkout to verify it and also to make sure that, if a charge were to occur, it wouldn't overdraft your account. If an order cannot be confirmed, we immediately inform your credit card company to release your funds back to you.
I bought 2 tickets to a concert I had been looking forward to for a while: these tickets were supposed to be accessible via third party site which was Ticket master. The day of the show both ticket master and seat geek would not load my e tickets. I had to buy another set of tickets the day if the show so that I could attend. The only reason this review isnt one star is because I feel that ticket master should hold some of the blame. Very unhappy with my service.
I always use SeatGeek to get tickets and usually they are average price. In a rush to get tickets and I didn't check the ShoWare center site. I paid almost triple for the tickets on SeatGeek. I'm so disappointed. Be careful where you buy them.
* SeatGeek attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond
Tried to purchase tickets on seatgeek and received an error message. Never received anything further about the tickets being purchased. Next day I noticed a charge for the tickets, that I NEVER RECEIVED. Now seatgeek is telling me that they didn't see an error on their end and won't refund my money. Good thing there are other ticket sites out there.
Hi Joel, thanks for reaching out and sharing your story with us. We're so sorry you had a negative experience and we'd love to look deeper into this issue with you. Please email us (and reference this post) at hi@seatgeek.com and we'll dive in!
SeatGeek has been a great help for me buying tickets for the past year now and I would have to say thank you to David Dobrik for having introduced me to the app. Its quick and easy and reliable with with the feature that lets you know if its a good deal or not.
SeatGeek's broker, Ultimate Event Tickets, cancelled our Super Bowl ticket purchase. We are promised a refund, but it has ruined a dream vacation. We also have thousands of dollars in non-refundable costs since it is Super Bowl weekend. It sounds like Stub Hub only sells Super Bowl tickets that are in hand. I would never use a broker site like SeatGeek that doesn't have tickets in hand. Just go with Stub Hub for the important events.
Can I give ZERO starts to SeatGeek?
In my opinion the ticket prices are misleading. The prices found on the site do not include the seller fees until after you choose them. If the seller fees where consistent, I would t have a problem with it, but they arent. Ive seen enaywhere between $4 to $58 per ticket in seller fees. It would make things easier if the price you see includes the fee or have a set flat fee, so ticket prices are easier to compare.
Waste of time to buy from these geeks. I tried to buy John Mayer tickets from them and they sell the tickets through another website "uberseats". Their promise is tickets delivered in 1 business day. Never received the tickets or answers to my emails and I tried for 3 days. I would never try them again.
I purchased a ticket for the tour championship and bought the wrong date. In less then 5 minutes I saw my mistake and called. I was told all sales are final can they couldn't switch the date. I wasn't asking for a refund only to change the date when I ask to speak to a supervisor they refused. When I insisted they told me there was no need that she would tell me the same thing. I will never use this site again and I suggest anyone that does do so at there on risk..
I love using seat geek i just feel they can be a little better if they really want to be the next big ticket distributor. They promote it on David's Dobriks videos all the time but each time I buy tickets i can't locate the promo code bar they should make that more accessible. But besides that its awesome and super easy to buy tickets. My debt card is linked to the seat geek app so its as easy as one click buy. Some venues tho should be more favorable to seat geek, i went to a music festival where they didn't want to scan my tickets on my phone so i had leave the front of the line to go to the ticket booth and print out my tickets there. It wasn't a bad experience it was just annoying.
SeatGeek is the Web's largest event ticket search engine. Discover events you love, search all ticket sites, see seat locations and get the best deals on tickets.
