While purchasing tickets for Cabaret on Broadway, I accidentally purchased tics for the wrong date (had 2 windows open!). I immediately realized my mistake, found a customer service phone number and called. I explained what happened to 'Kate', and was told that it may be possible to exchange tickets for the date I actually wanted. About 4 hours later I received a call back with a confirmation that the exchange had gone through and that my new tics were available on the app. I know that SeatGeek policy is that all purchases are final, but because these tics were a few months out they were able to assist. I appreciated the customer service.
Bought football game tickets for the Eagles and Rams yesterday (11/24/24), tickets were sent and available in my seat geek app. We get to the stadium and the tickets are invalid. We talk to box office and someone has already used the tickets earlier so we're SOL. We waste the entire first quarter waiting in line to resolve the issue and the first half chatting with customer service. I contacted seat geek and they say they'll investigate but it'll take 5 days. Completely unacceptable. Because we'd traveled and were already at the stadium, we bought separate tickets at the box office but the only ones left were at the very top row in a corner section. What was supposed to be a fun night at the game turned into a nightmare and the entire night was ruined. Buying with seat geek is not worth the risk, you could end up out of money with no tickets.
I bought tickets that were not labeled obstructed view. Once I bought the tickets it said it was obstructed view. I reached out to seatgeek and they never responded to me.

Process was fine but the fee per ticket was ridiculous. Ticket price shown with offer was deceptive when the fee per ticket is $200 and is not disclosed from the beginning.

No return/refund policy should be highlighted upfront. No return/refund policy should be highlighted upfront. It's sucks to loose money in terms of service fee to resell

I LOVE seeing live shows, especially up close. I have ALWAYS found just the right seats, at just the right price, on SeatGeek! So many times, I've gone to the "other" sites, only to find seats so far back or none at all. So, SeatGeek has been my savior when I can't get online at that Very moment tickets go onsale. I reccomend them to everyone!
THANKS, SEATGEEK!

I ordered 3 tickets of Pistons at 76ers on Jan 5. I clearly remembered I chose all 3 seats in Section 224 Row 1, and the price of each ticket is 132 USD. However, when I came to the game tonight, I found the tickets showed my seats in Section 224 Row 12. I can make sure I chose the Row1 seats before I paid. So I dont know whats the problem and I am so upset. Obviously the price 132USD of the seats in Row 12 is unreasonable. So I think some mistake happened when I got my tickets by SeatGeek.

Hi Mengyue, thank you for reaching out about this. We took a look at your checkout process and order details, and all information we can find does show that this order was place for Row 12 and not Row 1 in Section 224. With that being said, we do see that there were two order attempts prior to the successful one that did not go through due to a lack of ability to authorize the payment method.
If sounds like you may have attempted to initially purchase Row 1, but after going back and resubmitting your order after an initial failed attempt may have chosen Row 12.
However, if you're able to provide any information on your end from your checkout and order process showing a discrepancy, we can absolutely pass this onto our development team for review.

I ordered two Patriots-Chiefs Tickets on Seatgeek for an exorbitant $1,100 per ticket. Up until the night before kickoff, I have not yet obtained my tickets. The vendor has pulled off a complete scam and these tickets obviously do not exist. Seatgeek reps gave me the excuse that the venue is delaying release of the tickets. I called Gilette stadium directly and they confirmed with me that they have no such policy. Seat geek refused to refund me the money which would allow me to purchase tickets from a more reputable vendor. So as of now, Seatgeek has STOLEN $2,200 of my money and I have ZERO tickets. This company is committing a crime and their procedures are a complete scam. Their call center is obviously in the Philippines and their reps have no clue how to resolve issues. I have not been given the opportunity to escalate the issue to a supervisor in the US (likely because there is simply no supervisor/manager). This is a dishonest and criminal practice and I will be seeking legal avenues if they insist on not refunding my money.

Hello Michael, thanks for taking to time to leave this review, and we're incredibly sorry for the trouble this order caused. After reviewing what occurred, it does appear as though the seller ran into issues with the tickets as they'd originally been sold, and we're so sorry for that. We do see, however, that they were able to provide an 8-row upgrade in the same section for the inconvenience.
If you ran into any trouble with those upgraded tickets, please let us know. Again, we really do apologize for the amount of reach-out and frustration this order undoubtedly caused, and please know that despite the upgrades being provided, our inventory team is still actively investigating what occurred with the original tickets. If you have any further questions, please always feel free to reach out to our support team so they can be looked into right away!

You need to incorporate actual photos from seat sections and stadiums so customers can understand how they will be viewing the game. Also, reduce your fees.
Date of experience: September 6, 2017
Hi Asaad, thanks for the feedback! We have Seat Views setup for most of our major venues and stadiums, and we're working on getting them incorporated for even more in the future! In regards to fees, we're always working to make the ticket buying process as pleasant and seamless as possible, and we know fees are a big part of that. We appreciate you taking the time to leave this review! If you have any questions, please always feel free to contact our support team.

Dont like that Tickets had to be transfered via third party apps/services. Understand its likely out of Seat Geeks hands for the most part, but highly annoying and a time suck.

Hi Charlie,
We fully understand that the verification process may be daunting, but we do have it there for a good reason. The main reason for this is to prevent bots or other intruders from pretending to be people they are not and create or use accounts of other people. This is a security measure to assure protection of these bots making mass accounts. The good news is that now that the account is made and verified you will not have to go through that process again!
Hope you have a great time at the game!
Warm Regards,
SeatGeek CX Team
EXORBIDANTLY high transactions fees (+60 PER TCIKET), NO working customer service number, you cannot speak to a human being if you have a problem. Website works incorrectly, will not accept correct personal information when requested. Save yourself the time, money, and headache and do not buy from this 3rd rate scam site.

This company has horrible customer service and only cares about the sellers.
We bought tickets for my 17 year old daughter and friend for the Astros/ Rangers game. They get there and the tickets are invalid. Not understanding what has happened we called Seat geek and the seller uploaded the wrong tickets. They uploaded tickets for another day. Seat geek says sorry they can't do anything about it except a 120% refund. Oh but the price we paid goes to our credit card but the 20% extra has to go PayPal or a gift card. Smh
But to make it worse, they did NOT care that the girls had to just go home or we buy tickets at the stadium. We buy at the stadium and pay MORE than the 120% for nosebleed seats.
SeatGeek doesn't care. Sorry can't do anything except give u $20 credit for a future purchase. I told them future? Why would I do that when u can't guarantee the tickets will even work!
I asked to talk to a supervisor and she tells me that oh well we can give u a $40 seat geek app credit. Then they only 1% of people experience this type of thing. Just a bad deal we r the 1%. Umm WHAT?
I am told there is no one higher up than her to talk to because the others higher up in he company don't do "phone support" or talk to people. WTH?
This is DEFINITELY not a customer service company. They don't care about the buyers and they say there are too many seekers for them to actually make sure correct tickets are uploaded.
I talk to Ryan, Brian, and Lydia (the person supposedly the highest up a customer can talk to)
What a joke!

I can guarantee I will NEVER again use SeatGeek. Purchased a ticket for Luke Combs Pittsburgh show (11/23) and had to leave from NC at 11am on 11/22 to catch my flight. The ticket DIDN'T ARRIVE until 2pm that day even though I paid $65 extra for early am delivery. Not only that, I contacted them on 11/20 and 11/21 to verify there wouldn't be an issue because the original delivery date was showing 11/21. The ticket cost me $704.03. They offered me a $20 refund. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? NEVER AGAIN! Stick with VividSeats ladies and gentleman!

Hi Nevaeh,
We are very sorry that the tickets you ordered did not arrive on time. You did in fact purchase early AM delivery. We don't have control over the UPS, so could not control that they delayed this order. That said I did do a full investigation here due to this review you left.
There seemed to be an issue with us missing some key details. While had these been standard delivery, we would not be able to refund the fact you paid for AM delivery and consulted us the night prior gives us the ability to do so. I have already sent you an email informing you that we will be refunding this order in full due to UPS not making the delivery on time.
Our apologies for not reaching this resolution when you reached out to us after the tickets did not arrive on time.
Warm Regards,
SeatGeek CX Team

All of my favorite podcasts over the last year have, at one point or another, advertised for seatgeek and I seriously wish they would not anymore. I bought very expensive tickets to see Lionel Richie with my dad, show is postponed "for summer". Well, I work on contract and will no longer be living near the venue I bought the tickets for during the summer, but Seatgeeks resolution is...
"You can resell them on our website"
What? The vendor, ticket master and EVERYONE ELSE is offering a full refund if you can't make the new dates. Plus, I can't resell them, there are no rescheduled dates out. So I just have a big chunk of money floating around in space. I requested they just take the tickets back and give me a seatgeek credit, since there are other events I plan to go to soon. A big no.
This website is nice to price compare, but I will literally never but anything from them again. Their customer service was abysmal and this whole situation is a joke. Just pay the extra $15- $20 a ticket and buy direct from Tickemaster.

I bought tickets to a lakers game 3 months in advance. A week later i decided i'd rather go to a different game, so i started the "easy" swap/exchange process with seat geek. I must've spoken to every single incompetent person at the company. It took days to get any responses, and when those responses came in they were super generic "thanks for submitting your inquiry! Someone will help you shortly!" BS emails. They couldn't locate where my tickets were, to the point where they told me i had to login to my ticketmaster account in order to see my tickets... WHAT!? Going back and forth, back and forth for 2 months and i finally decided to just give up. I'll go to the stupid game i originally bought tickets for. I email seatgeek back telling them of my decision "just disregard my original request" and they reply saying "hi, we're still trying to do your exchange, please be patient". It's either a bot replying to emails or they have hired absolute morons in their customer service department. Kresna at SeatGeek is absolutely useless.

SeatGeek is the Web's largest event ticket search engine. Discover events you love, search all ticket sites, see seat locations and get the best deals on tickets.
Hey Chris, thanks for sharing your feedback! It looks like you first reached out to us just a few hours ago at 12:28 pm EST, and we responded at 1:24 pm EST and have discussed this with you fully.
To recap: We can see that your order did have an obstructed view noted by the seller. This note would have displayed at ticket selection, at checkout, and should still be visible when you view your order in your past history. We've also just checked our records of your checkout process and can confirm that this note displayed as expected.
We definitely understand how disappointing it is to receive tickets that are not what you were expecting, but in this case, the seller did note the obstructed view on the listing and we do not have any basis to pursue a refund with them. That doesn't mean you're out of luck, though! The best way for you to recoup your money if you no longer want those tickets is simply to resell them. We make it super easy to list e-tickets like these for sale, and the vast majority of tickets listed on SeatGeek find a buyer.
If you have any questions or need any more assistance on this, please don't hesitate to reach out and let us know!
