After pressing the buy option for 2 theater tickets, Seat Geek sent back an ambiguous message saying the transaction may not have gone through and that I should check my email. When I checked my email there was no confirmation from Seat Geek. Presuming that the transaction had failed, I ordered 2 more tickets. A minute later two email confirms arrived for 2 tickets each. I contacted Seat Geek's customer service immediately; they told me that all ticket sales were final, and that I should attempt to sell the tickets through their service. When I failed to get them to reconsider, I attempted to offer the 2 extra tickets for sale at a loss, but their service said they were ineligible! I don't often feel like a chump, but I did after dealing with them. 3 days later, Fernando from their customer service emailed to say they had secured a refund from the box office. After it was credited, I altered the review from 1 star to 4 stars. Walter Masterson
I purchased tickets from Seat Geek to Sabrina Carpenter two months prior to the show. I received the tickets via email and added them to my Ticketmaster account. Three hours prior to the concert I got a notification from Ticketmaster that the tickets were invalid. Seat Geek customer service was useless and we were unable to attend the show. I've now spent 18 days communicating with seat geek via email and phone in which I'm continually told their team is working on it. I'm out over $700 and this company has made no attempts to refund me despite their buyer guarantee. Horribly incompetent customer service, would never trust to buy from them again.
I have purchased tickets a couple times through Seat Geek and I have never had a problem. I make sure that I specifically chose tickets through Seat Geek (i. E., not through uberseat), because I trust those more and history proves I've never had a problem. One time there was an issue with my tickets and they corrected it beforehand and took the time to call to warn me about the change but they still assured me that the tickets were fine. Great experience!
I tried to purchase TOOL tickets and even received an email saying the purchase went through... 3 minutes later another email appeared stating that the tickets i was trying to purchase had already been sold but my money hasn't been refunded. After going back on the site, the tickets was told were sold are still there.
Hi Shaun, thanks for making us aware of your experience. For clarification, when orders are placed they first go into a pending stage so the seller can double-check that they still have the inventory available to confirm and fulfill the order. It sounds like this order was rejected due to the inventory no longer being available.
We're working constantly to make sure all of our listings are as up-to-date as possible, but sometimes the site will cache listing information which will cause listings to stay on event pages even after they've been confirmed through an order.
If you have any other questions, please send our Customer Support reps an email so we can be sure they're address! We can be reached at hi@seatgeek.com. We look forward to hearing from you!
Worst ticket company ever! They canceled my tickets, not my event, just my to tickets and told me I had to buy new ones. They didn't return my money, instead they put it in as a credit but won't let me use it to buy new tickets. They are pretty much just stole all my money and after 5 days of calling them they still will not release it to me in any form: refund or credit. Use a different ticket service.

I just got ripped off. I purchased two tickets to a St John's men's basketball game. The chart indicated that they were good seats and they were the most expensive available. When I got the tickets they are in row X, the very last upper row in the entire arena. This stinks and I will never use seat geek again

What the hell. Bought tickets and mlb wont scan. They said they told you about that. But nothing was told to me. I couldnt go to the game after buying tickets. Wasted money. Probably never buying from you again. So disappointed. I used to buy all my tickets here.
Hi John, thanks for reaching out. We definitely want to look into this more. We see this order was placed for a White Sox game, which has a strict policy that all tickets must be printed and cannot be scanned from a mobile phone for entry. In those cases, we do make sure to notate the sale and state within the app and the account that the tickets must be printed to ensure fans know that before heading to the game.
That being said, if you had a different issue with the tickets (i. E., you'd printed them, but they didn't scan), you should absolutely follow up with the seller about that to make sure you're reimbursed for the order appropriately. As this order as placed through FanXchange, you'll have to contact them directly. Feel free to email them at support@fanXchange.com or give them a call at 1-866-970-3269.
Really liked the ease of the tickets being on my phone app immediately and not having to waste time and paper to print. Also the ability to look at the view from the seat is a big plus for sporting events.
I use SeatGeek all the time and I love it. Very easy, quick and affordable. I recommend this app to everyone every time we talk about concerts. I've been using seatgeek since 2017 and now can't get enough of it. Thanks
We bought our tickets for Taylor Swift at Ford Field Aug 29 from Seatgeek. The tickets they sent us were not accepted by the gate agent as they only gave the QR vide and not the barcode which is unique to the buyer. We called the seatgeek customer service rep who was no help at all, asked six times if they scanned the QR code which was useless. My daughter was in tears. We will never, ever, use Seatgeek again,
I would prefer all fees were included in the displayed ticket prices. It is irritating to purchase tickets for $140+ per ticket and then $40+ per ticket in additional fees.
Please just include the fees in the purchase price. I still would have paid $180 a piece, but I think having such high fees added on is frustrating.
Just give me the actual final ticket cost.
Hi Jared,
We completely agree with you the prices should be all in one place. In fact, when you search for tickets you can select to search for them before fees or with all fees included!
So next time you are looking for tickets, just change that feature to search with fees and avoid any surprises at checkout.
Paid for our tickets online and got an email with the ticket notification.
Today, on the day of the concert, my son goes to the concert and shows the ticket (online) and the staff at the SAP center tells him that the ticket is invalid!
All his friends go to the concert and my son is heart broken. More than the money it is the emotional heartbreak Seat Geek has thrown at us.
Never use Seat Geek! They are the biggest fraud ever.
Wish I had read all the other reviews before we booked online.
They are not available to talk when you want as they are only available during certain times EST. I have emailed them and lets see how they are going to compensate for the emotional stress and lost money!

Everything was great including price. Only problem was difficulty printing tickets. Also I don't want to print "100" characters in this comment box because I really don't have that much to say. But you do need to make more user friendly to print the tix. Thanks
I called customer service, not talking calls. I texted the helpline, no reply. After two days before the concert, I went my bank and stopped payment to Seat Geek. I missed the concert of my life; because these irresponsible jokers. Don't buy anything from them! Undependable.
Had purchased three tix to see Hamilton with my kids through SeatGeek- planned a special trip to Boston just to see the show. Only one of them was correctly fulfilled. The second- I ended up with a ticket on the other side of the theatre from the one I had originally purchased. The third one I never received - the seller had a problem fulfilling the ticket. SeatGeek did nothing to rectify the situation but offer a refund. Completely ruined our plans, as I could not accompany my kids into the show- they had to go in on their own and sit in separate seats on opposite sides of the theatre.
Stay away from this company! They are unreliable and double-sell their tickets. Horrible customer support, too. Their guarantee is an outright lie.
Using the system to order tickets is fairly simple. I like that they provide a view of the venue from the seats you are purchasing. I only wish that the tickets were available sooner as these were purchased as a holiday gift but the game is still not for a few months and I will not get the e-tickets until a few days before the actual game.
SeatGeek sold me two invalid tickets to the Alan Jackson concert. We had to buy two tickets at the box office to get into the concert. SeatGeek won't honor their buyer guarantee policy for invalid tickets. They say they're not going to refund my money. I called them after we had entered the concert with the tickets we bought at the box office. Now they're trying to say I accepted and used replacement tickets from them which is not true. How could they send me replacement tickets if they didn't know about the invalid tickets until after we had entered the concert? They can't get their facts straight and keep trying to get out of refunding my money. This was my first and last time using this dishonest company. Stay away from them and take your business elsewhere.
Got tickets for a NY Jets game two days prior to the event, tickets were priced well. Very easy to find good deals based on the green/yellow/red judgement circles on the seating diagram. Tickets also were straight on the app, so no need to print. Very effortless and simple thank you!
Great website. The one flaw is that it doesn't give you seat numbers before you purchase. There were three options for tickets in the row I wanted, but without seat numbers I couldn't tell until I bought. Of course I ended up with the seats furthest from center court.
We purchased instant tickets about 8 minutes prior to kickoff for a game. Online it said we would have the tickets in about 2 minutes. We didn't end up getting them until about 15 minutes later so we missed the first 10 minutes of the game before arriving at our seats. This is how we purchase a lot of our tickets for these soccer games and I'm not sure if I can trust SeatGeek to deliver on time.
Don't buy from this platform. I bought tickets on 8/20/2022 to a show that night. When I arrived at the venue, the tickets wouldn't be accepted. Turns out the ticket was for the same show the night prior, 8/19/2022. How can a ticketing app sell you a ticket to an event that occurred in the past?
Following the event, the support team was unable to provide timely service in performing a refund. It has to be "escalated". Here we are 4 days later, no resolution.
Bottom-line, there are plenty of better platforms to purchase tickets.
The greatest tickets per value in pro sports. Awesome experience at fraction of the cost for stadium seated tickets. Also, the same can be stated for the VIP escorted tour of the stadium prior to the game, and you can take pictures however, you can not take videos.
Buyer Beware! Do not buy tickets from SeatGeek during the pandemic because if you are quarantined, sick with Covid-19, or want to sell your ticket(s), makes it is impossible to get your money back. SeatGeek's sell option is very time consuming because of their delays and difficulty in reaching a person to help you do so. I purchased 4 tickets, got Covid-19 symptoms and wanted to sell. They delayed responding to my attempt to sell for so long until the date of the event occurred or had past. The email to contact them is worthless! When they do reply to your email it is a survey for how well the SeatGeek person who responded to your email, who has no authority to resolve your issue, has done. Very frustrating to contact them with email. They are using scammer techniques to keep your money during the pandemic. They will not give you a coupon code for a future event for replacement if your issue is not resolved. Beware!
My only issue is that I spend 350 dollars on tickets and 60 of it is on processing fees. Im sorry but to me thats just an excessive amount of fees. The more you pay the less fees should be tacked on to the overall price.
SeatGeek is a complete rip off. I ordered tickets for a basketball game, and the confirmation was sent to an old email I no longer had access to. Tried to call SeatGeek 10 plus times and nobody ever picks up, hold times are over an hour. Emailed and chatted with 4 different reps at SeatGeek to have to confirmation sent to my updated email and nobody could do it. It took over 2 hours of trying and nobody was able to send the tickets to my updated email so I missed the event. When I asked them for a refund they said no being that the sent the tickets to the email address on file that i no longer can access. Complete rip off. Scam artist.
We bought 6 tickets on row 7 to Grand Canyon University through SeatGeek two days before the actual game. When we bought the tickets we got a confirmation email saying that the seats were ours and had charged our Credit Card. On the day of the event we still had not received 2 of our tickets. When we called SeatGeek we found out that after charging our credit card the seats were sold to someone else. SeatGeek was unable to provide us with another set of tickets to the game because it was "sold out".
We want to say thank you to Grand Canyon University for hearing the situation and able to find us tickets for free after hearing our situation. That was truly going above and beyond anything that we expected.
Fine print crooks! Bought tickets for an event, but because it wasn't the same day as another event I bought tickets for they wouldn't let me go. Not only did I get shorted the event, but I got shorted my money. The only thing SeatGeek is good for is sticking to their policies and NOT GIVING REFUNDS. Didn't go to the event and didn't get my money back all thanks to the fine print. Thanks SeatGeek! Will not be using your services next time. Ticketmaster blows you out of the water with policies and customer service. I would not recommend SeatGeek. I would recommend Ticketmaster all day over SeatGeek. I was sorely disappointed in their lack of refunds, resources or help with my situation.
Tip for consumers:
I would rate them no stars if I had the option. I’ve never been so sad and disappointed with SeatGeek’s customer service and lack of support.

None. The venue wouldn’t let us in and SeatGeek wouldn’t refund us. They are crooks!!! We got nothing out of using SeatGeek. Ticketmaster is the better option!
