After pressing the buy option for 2 theater tickets, Seat Geek sent back an ambiguous message saying the transaction may not have gone through and that I should check my email. When I checked my email there was no confirmation from Seat Geek. Presuming that the transaction had failed, I ordered 2 more tickets. A minute later two email confirms arrived for 2 tickets each. I contacted Seat Geek's customer service immediately; they told me that all ticket sales were final, and that I should attempt to sell the tickets through their service. When I failed to get them to reconsider, I attempted to offer the 2 extra tickets for sale at a loss, but their service said they were ineligible! I don't often feel like a chump, but I did after dealing with them. 3 days later, Fernando from their customer service emailed to say they had secured a refund from the box office. After it was credited, I altered the review from 1 star to 4 stars. Walter Masterson
I purchased tickets from Seat Geek to Sabrina Carpenter two months prior to the show. I received the tickets via email and added them to my Ticketmaster account. Three hours prior to the concert I got a notification from Ticketmaster that the tickets were invalid. Seat Geek customer service was useless and we were unable to attend the show. I've now spent 18 days communicating with seat geek via email and phone in which I'm continually told their team is working on it. I'm out over $700 and this company has made no attempts to refund me despite their buyer guarantee. Horribly incompetent customer service, would never trust to buy from them again.
Decided last minute to surprise my husband with tickets to the Blackhawks game. I got seats on center ice six rows behind the penalty box. And the price was reasonable. My husband and his friend had a great time and that made the whole thing worth it.
I purchased a parking pass for a Braves game which cost $41 dollars and they added a $12 fee plus a delivery fee.
The problem they transferred the pass through Ticket Master. I am IT so know the system but no luck, I never was able to get the pass...I just lost over $65 dollars.
Danger don't use SeatGeek, I should have read all the awful awful AWFUL reviews.
Tip for consumers:
Don use SeatGeek .....

I enjoyed not being hit with that $35 surprise at checkout. SeatGeek shows you the entire price in the search so you know what youre paying before hitting the checkout. Always my first and usually only stop for tix
My favorite part of the site is it allows you to search for tickets and see the total with fees included. Other sites make you enter your payment info then hit you with the fees at the end. I like to know my total before checkout.
We were searching tickets for a game in the Bronx, found them. Once the order was done and through we realized seatgeek changed it up and gave us tickets to a game wayyyyyy out of our league. Then told us we needed a 24 hour investigation even though we found the flaw within 5 minutes. I Will never use them again and will be sure everyone I know doesn't use them in the future.
I was visiting Boston and bought tickets to a show, everything worked smoothly, except that it wouldn't accept international phone numbers. If that is fixed it would be a lot easier to use as a foreign visitor.
I bought tickets two years ago for an event. They never arrived. Currently within 12hrs of the event, and no sign of my tickets. I spent 2 hours on hold waiting for a Customer Service rep. When I finally got ahold of someone, they acted like they couldn't hear me and then hung up. I also sent two emails to their customer service email. I can't even contact anyone to request a refund, so I just wasted $250. I will never use this company again. I am absolutely livid.
Tip for consumers:
I strongly advise buying tickets from other places. After this experience, I've read lots of reviews about the same thing happening to others, so this is clearly not an isolated event.

I got absolutely nothing from this purchase, except I'm out $250. Will never use SeatGeek again.
Purchased 6 tickets to a Nats game three days prior to the event. The site says don't be surprised if you don't receive tickets until the day prior or even the day of the event. On the day of, still no tickets. Reached out to SeatGeek and learned the seller was now unable to fill the order. Literally learned this whole on the Metro headed to the game. While SeatGeek customer service was as helpful as they could be (refunded money AND provided a 20% supplemental compensation, the end result was traveling downtown to the game and NOT being able to actually go to the game (all other seat options were through the roof in cost). Will never again use this site…they don't actually control the tickets…simply a paid intermediary and can't guarantee delivery of what you purchase…miserable experience for our immediate family and extended family visiting from out of town.

Very difficult to find a number to get assistance with. We purchased a ticket to see a concert in Florida. We live in NJ but we were going to be on vacation the week of the concert and thought it would be fun. After we purchased the ticket, the concert was moved ---postponed over a month later. Since we were not going to be in the state, we asked for a refund. Seat Geek does nothing to assist you since the concert was not "cancelled. " just postponed. I will never use this company again For everyone that need their phone number it is *******335

Straightforward, smooth process of finding good values for seats available. Purchase process was smooth, and the tickets were sent to iPhone. I printed hard-copy tickets just in case, but didn't need them as the images in the iPhone worked just fine.
Everything was a good experience buying my tickets, "But" when the tickets where emailed to me and we printed them out they still had the sellers name on them, and that kinda disappointing, just wondering if I go to the concert are they going to ask for her since the tickets still have her name on them.
I spent $750 on tickets for a game that was rained out. I had 12 hrs from 10pm to 10am to unrealistically resell all tickets for a total of $100. I asked for ANY credit or refund. I was treated like an idiot for expecting anything other than a too bad so sad response.
Tip for consumers:
No matter how unreasonable it may be to resell or use your ticket after your event is cancelled for the date and time you purchased there will be absolutely no refund or credit. They should not even make it sound like there are exceptions.

None of the tickets were sellable or reusable.
I bought my tickets in September 2016 for an event March 24,2017. I was very anxious at the amount of time it took to get my tickets delivered to me. Constantly asking for updates on the delivery of my tickets. Constantly being told that they would be delivered in time for the concert. They were very quick to answer my emails and I always got a live person when calling. Always telling me "your tickets have been confirmed and will be delivered by the day of the event". And they were. But IF had I had to travel to my event I might have not and therefore missing my event and my refund. I would say to SeatGeek that I think you should find a way to get possession of the tickets I purchased 6 months ago sooner than the day of the event and I would always use your service. Meanwhile, you should open a side business to teach other company's your great customer service model.
Tickets could not be printed at gate. Don't know if that is a stadium issue or a SeatGeek issue but it defeats the entire purpose of the App if I have to print tickets to get in. I ended up buying tickets at the ticket window to enter.
The weather was great, so last minute we decided to look for Colorado Rockies tickets and the app worked perfectly. Found a couple tickets we liked for a great price and purchased them through apple pay, and walked right into the stadium with the tickets on my phone.
To respond to Kayla, here is the text of the only email I received:
"Hi Michael,
Your order for (event) is pending confirmation. Well email you with an update shortly."
What about that email suggests I should, as you say, "get right back on and try again for some tickets"?
Would I have been able to cancel the original order to assure I wouldn't be charged twice? No, correct?
Does seatgeek think 24 hours constitutes "shortly"?
What do you think I could have done differently here, Kayla, recognizing that I can't know you sell the same tickets twice on occasion?
I purchased tickets for an event three days in advance. 24 hours later, I was told my tickets were not available. The supervisor, who wouldn't give me his real name but asked to be called "JP", first told me that the seller had the option to not approve the sale within in 24 hours. To clarify the penalty the seller would receive, I was told none. When I told JP that it is silly the seller is given the chance the sell the tickets for higher elsewhere for 24 hours, the story then changed to the seller received two purchase offers for the tickets and didn't accept mine. JP said SeatGeek saw no flaw in selling the same tickets twice and not informing me for 24 hours that I would not be receiving the tickets. Their systems essentially allows multiple buyers to buy the same tickets with no recourse for the buyer who doesn't receive tickets.
I asked that they buy me similar tickets, which had risen $15 per ticket. SeatGeek chose to not resolve the dispute for $65. I will never use their service again.
Tickets never came! And customer service said they couldn't do anything about it! Email came with supposed tickets but they were blank when transferred to Ticketmaster! Am putting in a complaint and investigation!
It's very easy to use and I love the cheap prices, not only that but the fees are not ridiculous when you go to check out. The fees like Stub hub are a complete turnoff, It's like $15 worth of fees and never turns out to be the price posted. Thanks again
Did not get the seats I paid for,. Very disappointed. Wanted to sit close to the stage and paid for tickets near their,. And arrived at the show only to sit in an aisle near the back of the first section. Also the tickets were mailed to me... I found that odd and wonder why they dont just use a cellphone to scan your tickets at the show, since they actually SCAN your tickets when you get to the show. I would not order from them again, and discourage anyone else from doing so. Also the service fees are ridiculous. Lame.

This website claims to have tickets ready for you and 100% guarantee. That is not the case. Tickets were bought for the game is Lexington KY for Gamecocks and the tickets were never received! To make matters worse the tickets were over 1000 and not even a refund for their mistake. Where has customer service gone? What type of business takes advantage in this time. I would never recommend this company to anyone. The family was looking forward to this event for a long time and now it is ruined with false advertising.
Need i say more. This was a terrible decision. Never got the tickets, the support absolutely has no power or authority to get tickets, since they are only a 3rd party group who seem to be offshore from the US. I lost over $600 on this, lost 3 tickets, dissappointed my family. When I suck as a result of someone else, I have no mercy. SeatGeek sucks, huge mistake.

there's no shipping, they didn't give me the product!! Zero shipping, zero attempts to resolve. Just put me on perpetual hold, so while i was on hold forever I started the reviews and won't stop until they hang up. I lost over $600, have no resolution, have no way to go to the event at this point, and i was ready to travel tomorrow!!
The only negative thing I can say is that my podcast sponsorship code didnt work at checkout. But the seats were so inexpensive, and we were able to get them so easily through the app, that I didnt even care! This is now my only go-to site for tickets. I dont even bother with Ticketmaster or stubhub.
Purchased tickets and the transaction went through on my card, but the e-tickets were not delivered. I called and after a long hold, they said they had sold the tickets already. I was refunded a few days later.
SeatGeek is the Web's largest event ticket search engine. Discover events you love, search all ticket sites, see seat locations and get the best deals on tickets.
Hey Thomas, we're really sorry, but that's a venue/team policy, and unfortunately the Chicago White Sox have a strict non-mobile entry policy and they require all of their tickets be printed. We'd love it if all tickets could be scanned in right from the app (and we're hoping that'll happen in the future!) but that's not the case just yet. If you have any questions about it, let us know, we'll do our best to help!
