After pressing the buy option for 2 theater tickets, Seat Geek sent back an ambiguous message saying the transaction may not have gone through and that I should check my email. When I checked my email there was no confirmation from Seat Geek. Presuming that the transaction had failed, I ordered 2 more tickets. A minute later two email confirms arrived for 2 tickets each. I contacted Seat Geek's customer service immediately; they told me that all ticket sales were final, and that I should attempt to sell the tickets through their service. When I failed to get them to reconsider, I attempted to offer the 2 extra tickets for sale at a loss, but their service said they were ineligible! I don't often feel like a chump, but I did after dealing with them. 3 days later, Fernando from their customer service emailed to say they had secured a refund from the box office. After it was credited, I altered the review from 1 star to 4 stars. Walter Masterson
I purchased tickets from Seat Geek to Sabrina Carpenter two months prior to the show. I received the tickets via email and added them to my Ticketmaster account. Three hours prior to the concert I got a notification from Ticketmaster that the tickets were invalid. Seat Geek customer service was useless and we were unable to attend the show. I've now spent 18 days communicating with seat geek via email and phone in which I'm continually told their team is working on it. I'm out over $700 and this company has made no attempts to refund me despite their buyer guarantee. Horribly incompetent customer service, would never trust to buy from them again.
I appreciate knowning the true total cost when I make my purchase. To be 5 out of 5, I would want the application to offer some sort of financial incentive that makes it more affordable then the competition.
I know the people on the marketplace team from a previous job. They are big time racists and bigots. White is right at this company - don't work here and don't support this company. I'd suggest that you gip them for all that you can since they won't look out for you and exploit you.
Tip for consumers:
Yes - this organization is bigoted and biased. Don't support it.
Please "Do Not" order any event tickets through seatgreek. I purchase some Rod Wave concert tickets and the concert was last night October 21st in San Francisco. I drove 2 hours to attend this concert and was told by the staff that I had to be fully vaccinated on which I was, because all military personnel has to be fully vaccinated but was told I needed proof. That is HIPPA violation. However I'm pretty sure that all the people that I seen in line was not fully vaccinated. I spoke with someone on the phone and was told that I could not get a refund. I served this country to protect evil harm and I was told that. I purchased my ticket like everyone else with no problem to be told that. I was really very piss off.
I had tickets to a concert and the concert was cancelled and rescheduled and they never notified me. That's bad business! I wanted a refund because i couldn't make the new date but they would not give a refund. Then I called the person that they actually got the tickets from and was told seat geek don't like giving refunds because they would lose to much money because they jack up the prices. Now I will buy directly from the person they bought the tickets from for a cheaper price plus he said he would of refunded me my money back for the cancelled show!
Simply wanted to see the Marlins play this season. Found great seats right by first base for a great price. Actually cheaper than the face value.
Easy to find, easy to buy, E-ticket in hand in about 20mins. Thank you.
Very frustrated I can't get my tickets through you, I was told I had them sent to Ticketmaster but never received an email from them and can't get on the Ticketmaster website because it seems to be blocked in Vietnam where I live. Will not use seat geek again
Try to buy 6 times on seetgeek and had tix. Switched credit cards 3 times because kept getting tix then email said didn't get them. Would rather not
Get them then think I did and later didn't. What a wast of time. Tickets sold out so had to try. Went to Ticketmaster made a purchase and done in one try.
I Purchased tickets for the Beyonce Formation Tour at Metlife stadium. Reading the reviews I was extremely nervous about my purchase. My tickets were delivered via fedex way before the concert date. My tickets were scanned and I walked in and enjoyed the show. I will definitely use again.
First time user. Bought baseball tickets for a group & ended up with one extra ticket. Reposted it for sale with just a couple of clicks & sold it in a very short time. Best designed ticket site I've used!
The one thing that makes me nervous about resale tickets is the delay that often occurs between the time you purchase your tickets and the time you receive your tickets.
Typically, I've found it takes a couple hours to receive tickets, but on this occasion, I had to contact SeatGeek support because I hadn't gotten notified that the tickets were ready to be accessed up until almost an hour before first pitch.
I was afraid to leave for the game without the tickets, so I had to wait until support contacted the seller and fixed the issue. They did a great job resolving the problem, and maybe it was my fault for not contacting them sooner, but I was frustrated that this experience wasn't as smooth or painless as I've come to expect.
I still think SeatGeek deserves four stars for pricing, availability and customer service, but this delay was stressful.
Way overpriced tickets. Found better seats for less money on a different site. Got scammed out of my money cuz they said it was easy return. All they give you is a promo code for the same amount that you have to use on the site!
Tip for consumers:
Returns do not give you your money back. You just get a promo code for the site
I received a promo code for an event that was rescheduled that I couldn't attend. I spent $69 out of $602 and SeatGeek is refusing to give me my money until after the $69 event takes place in August. So basically the company is refusing to give me $530 of MY money until August. I recommend NO ONE use this company. They make it sound like they are all about the customer...they are not. They only care about money and how they can swindle it out of you. Taking care of their customers is not their priority. Not only do they want me to never use this company again, I recommend to no one to use this company. They don't care about the customer or how to keep customers coming back.
Tip for consumers:
SeatGeek is a horrible company.
Customer service was amazing! Every email and every question I had was answered. The concerns I had were put at ease! I will be forever greatful with the experience and how everything worked out smoothly. Highly recommended!
Seat Geek is the Seattle Mariners vendor to resell tickets. Instead of allowing prices to be set by the seller, Seat Geek sets a price to discourage the resale of tickets. Total rip off and maybe it is the Seattle Mariners that is forcing that to discourage the resale of tickets.
I ordered tickets to see Ariana Grande in New Orleans for April. Although I ordered them in January, I didn't receive them until the day before the event. During that day, I was freaking out because I was worried they wouldn't send them to me on time so I called their customer service number. They didn't answer at all or respond to my emails so I tweeted them instead. Of course, they responded to me on there but I coincidentally got them during that time. My advice is to order through their own vendors and be cautious about where you get the tickets from. I'll probably be using another site next time due to the amount of time it took for my tickets to be delivered.
Fully obstructed view. Was not informed. I bought these seats right before the game. Unfair price for where we were seated. And I always buy online right before the game and Am always satisfied. Bought 4 tickets and they were MUCH overpriced and obstructed view. Didnt enjoy. Will not buy from u guys again.
Thank you for reaching out and making us aware of the situation! We're genuinely sorry you had that experience.
When it comes to determining whether a seat has a limited or obstructed view, that's something that's determined by the venue itself. Unfortunately, if the venue doesn't notate the ticket itself or consider the view to be obstructed, there's no way for the seller of the ticket to notate that information on the sale.
We're very strong advocates of venues making sure to be transparent with things like this, and we'd recommend reaching out to the arena that hosted the event directly to express your concerns.
Again, we're sorry that happened! Please let us know if there's anything we can do to help.

The return policy should allow a return if its less than 24hrs since purchase. I purchased the tickets and then realized it was for the wrong date and was not able to return or exchange the tickets for the right date. Now I am stuck trying to re-sell the tickets at a higher price of which won't even allow me to break even on the purchase
I love the purchasing experience but finding my tix in the app is not intuitive. Clicking on the photo to get my tix with the bar code is not intuitive. Recommend placing an icon that is easier to access. Plus transferring them to my wallet would be great.
This app is a piece of $#*!. The app tells that you can return your tickets when a event is canceled then proceeds to give you a promo code to buy more $#*!ty tickets. Then when you only use half of what the $#*!ing promo code is worth it takes the whole $#*!ing thing away this app $#*!ing sucks.
Tip for consumers:
do not use this $#*!ty $#*!ing app

Purchased tickets for upcoming Dallas Cowboys game to take my son from Seatgeek and 30 mins later i get an email saying there was an error. Contacted customer support and was told it was my fault and i should review my information my carefully and my address. I have used them prior to this so this was not my first time using them and under my account, secondly then was told it was a known software issue and there was nothing they could do and i would most likely see my money back in 1-3 business days. They then told me i could try to repurchase them again in 24 hours. Why would i try to let them take anther 700 dollars from me again! This company has ethical issues and should not be allowed to buy and sell event tickets. They are scamming customers and holding their money hostage.
Tip for consumers:
DONT use another site!!!

Great for buying tickets but if you have any issues and need to talk to someone it's going to Atleast take 3 hours out of your day to be on HOLD till someone picks up the phone. Ridiculous
Below are some photos that I was able to get before I gave up.
I am based in Europe and I was planning to go to the US for an event. I booked my tickets through SeatGeek however the event was rescheduled. Therefore I am no longer able to attend. I would normally expect to get a refund however, the customer service asked me to sell my tickets through SeatGeek which by default is unacceptable!
I had no other option to get my money back so I decided to do so. To my surprise, the SeatGeek systems require US mobile number in order to work and sell my tickets. Without a US mobile number, you cannot sell your tickets!
When I contacted customer service about it, instead of issuing a refund, I was told to search on google for an alternative platform to sell my tickets...
If SeatGeek cannot support customers without US numbers, they should not be selling tickets outside the US.
Bottom line is that if you do not have a US phone number, you should not be booking through SeatGeek!
Was just looking for a singl reasonably priced ticket to tje UW v Montana football game. Most cheaper seats were for multiple tickets. Found one that said 1st row, and figured it was the front of the section. When i arrived, i discovered it was an overall 1st row seat, practically on the sideline! Best seat I have ever had!
The process was very quick and very easy. I bought my tickets and shortly after, discovered I wouldnt be able to attend the event so I posted them to sell. 30 minutes before the event started, my tickets sold and I was given my money back in about 5 business days.
My favorite part of SeatGeek other than the ease of buying and selling tickets is that I have the option to display prices with the fees included, so there's no shock at checkout. It is the reason I use and recommend SeatGeek over other ticketing apps.
SeatGeek is the Web's largest event ticket search engine. Discover events you love, search all ticket sites, see seat locations and get the best deals on tickets.
