After pressing the buy option for 2 theater tickets, Seat Geek sent back an ambiguous message saying the transaction may not have gone through and that I should check my email. When I checked my email there was no confirmation from Seat Geek. Presuming that the transaction had failed, I ordered 2 more tickets. A minute later two email confirms arrived for 2 tickets each. I contacted Seat Geek's customer service immediately; they told me that all ticket sales were final, and that I should attempt to sell the tickets through their service. When I failed to get them to reconsider, I attempted to offer the 2 extra tickets for sale at a loss, but their service said they were ineligible! I don't often feel like a chump, but I did after dealing with them. 3 days later, Fernando from their customer service emailed to say they had secured a refund from the box office. After it was credited, I altered the review from 1 star to 4 stars. Walter Masterson
I purchased tickets from Seat Geek to Sabrina Carpenter two months prior to the show. I received the tickets via email and added them to my Ticketmaster account. Three hours prior to the concert I got a notification from Ticketmaster that the tickets were invalid. Seat Geek customer service was useless and we were unable to attend the show. I've now spent 18 days communicating with seat geek via email and phone in which I'm continually told their team is working on it. I'm out over $700 and this company has made no attempts to refund me despite their buyer guarantee. Horribly incompetent customer service, would never trust to buy from them again.
I have used Seat Geek many times before without a hitch. On Monday, I bought Phillies baseball tix that were never delivered. Seat Geek will not give me a refund to a third party vendor. They have no way to guarantee the third party will actually deliver the tix! They are blaming my email account (I have tried two) and they are not in junk mail. I think the third party is screwing Seat Geek over. Apparently, I have no rights.
I have found that SeatGeek has had better options for larger ticket purchases for the baseball games I have attended in the past year. Usually 1-2 ticket selections and price have been consistent across brands but 3+ I have had way more options on SeatGeek.
This company is a scam 100%
After going back and forth with my bank and even providing PROOF that I was promised a refund, SeatGeek would dispute it and I kept getting the refund reversed by my bank. I've seen countless videos and reviews about this company not being ethical with their customers so please do yourself a favor and NEVER buy tickets from here, regardless of the "good" reviews.
This company seems like it's run by a bunch of kids working out of their garages as a start up. After months, I was finally able to get my refund from my bank. I had to provide so much proof and emails to get my money back since SeetGeek kept denying a refund.
I purchased tickets right before an event. When I arrived, the event shut down because they ran out of beer (it was a beer fest event aya racetrack). I've emailed SG numerous times for a refund but no one responds. I've called but their wait times are unreal. I don't understand why they were selling tickets for an event that was done! Zero out of 10… Wouldn't recommend.

I called the 1-800 number to get some questions about some tickets i bought (3 days before) for a dodger game prior to 3 hours before the game started, they were helpful in all they knew, but didnt get a definitive answer at the end. I had to call the stadium myself. Its was fine that i went and did that but i think if someone didnt know how to find out the number(s) to call they wouldn't find an answer to there question.
Hi there Jessie, thanks for letting us know! Since SeatGeek is the secondary market and we don't have any direct relation to the box office or venues hosting events, we sometimes don't have full details about ticket specifics. Our support team should always do what they can to help, but sometimes the best method to get the correct answer as quick as possible is just to contact the venue's box office directly!
If you have any questions about your SeatGeek order itself, we're always happy to help!

Have been trying to figure out how to sell my tickets that I bought for over a week and have not been able to. Went to the 3rd Party site(AXS) that sent the tickets but haven't gotten a response of any kind.
Stubhub charges a ridiculous service fees to buy and sell PDFs. It's also difficult to do if you tranfser tickets. Oh and if you buy on Stubhub and it's a mobile ticket you have to sell on Stubhub... So double the ridiculous fees. Seatgeek, please crush Stubhub. You're easier to use and it doesn't feel like a rip-off. They take advantage of being a "leader" in the space.
I recently used SeatGeek to buy tickets to MNUFC game and for a Twins game. The selection process was easy to use by showing a layout of the stadium. Buying our seats was a breeze. And the best part of the whole deal was being able to transfer the tickets. The whole process was WAY easier than I ever thought.
I couldn't get a refund after i purchased tickets that said jacksonville at patriots but after i purchased the tickets it said patriots at jacksonville. I immediately noticed it and asked for a refund and i keep getting the same automated reply of Q & A'S. Even stub hub has refunded me for the same mistake being an online mistake and they see it wasn't my fault but apparently seatgeek don't care.
Today I was looking up tickets for a show for next April andd was just browsing when I came across this website and wasn'r ging to purchse yet but my young son clicked the order and it went through. I immediately tried to contact customer service, even before my order was confirmed and of course didn't get a reply. I contacted them once again. Now I am being told that sales are final? You must be kidding me. I want an immediate refund for this ticket that i don't even want and that is completely overpriced! I won't be able to sell it for what they are charging me. This is a scam please don't use this service.
Tip for consumers:
buy your tickets from a vendor that is legit. Ticketmaster, Eventbrite etc.
These people are just a scam.

Did not like the ticket transfer process. The last time I bought tickets was a lots smoother as it was an instant upload. Not a fan of transfer process. Also, I think you should put a disclaimer on all tickets for the Fiser Forum venue as they only accept printed tickets, they will not accept a screen shot.
Very bad experience! Bought general admission Lynyrd Skynyrd tickets from Seatgeek... over charged "double" the price. We found out at the concert GA was $40.00 per person & we were charged $190.00 for two tickets! To top it off... we were promised our tickets by Feb. 28th... not receiving them until less than 24 hours before the show! Only becz we called & complained did we receive the tickets! Nor did the company compensate or do something for the trouble they caused. Bad business & bad experience.
Hi Michelle,
We would love to take another look and see what we can do to make this better!
Please give us a call or shoot us a note!
All our best,

I used to buy tickets from stubhub all the time before I found SeatGeek. I loved seatgeek because of the prices. A lot of people say there werent any fees on seatgeek but I knew there was they werent broken down before. Now that theyre broken down the tickets are way more expensive and are the same as stubhub. If the price is the same at both, I would rather shop with stubhub.
I was just shown to my seats, the last in the house. I'm baffled because I am 100%sure this section of the theatre was NOT in my search parameters and that I did NOT buy the cheapest seats available. So I can't quite understand how I ended up here. Shame on me for not triple checking but come on... I cannot believe I paid double for the last seats in the house next to a pole. What's worse is that I got this show as a gift for my companion- embarrassing! I can't help but think I got SCAMMED :/
Hi Julie, we're so sorry for the negative experience and we'd love the ability to dive in deeper and figure out what happened. Please email us at hi@seatgeek.com so that we can dig in.
Using the SeatGeek app I was able to identify the seats I wanted quickly, order them, receive confirmation of the purchase and email them to a friend all in a matter of minutes. Happy, frequent SeatGeek user!
SeatGeek was a great experience as always. I sat right where I wanted. The tickets were LEGIT, which is always a fear I have when purchasing online, yet I have never had a bad experience with SeatGeek. SeatGeek is my go to site for tickets!
Just wish you'd say somewhere how many total tixx available for any given game, and list face value of tixx; I realize u r trying to accommodate buyers AND sellers, but the playing field doesn't seem quite level
Hi William — thanks for your feedback! We'll be sure to pass your suggestions on to the appropriate teams to consider for future versions of the website and app!

Booked 10 tickets to an NHL game this morning and received confirmation. At the end of the day, they sent an email that the event was canceled by the organizer. REALLY? The NHL canceled a game? Called customer service and they were not helpful. I explained that the NHL did not cancel the game and they continued to say it was.
I WILL Not use seatgeek every again.
I brought tickets for an event. On row G section 103. They where on waiting for confirmation from the seller.
Then i received a email telling me that the tickets where unavailable and that i was going to get refunded.
I when to my app and check again for the tickets on section 103 row g because it was the last ones. And yes they where available but the seller decide to increase the price. So i paid more just because the sellere decide to change his/her mind on the price.
I do believe that is no fair because if for us is instant payment the seller should do the same with the tickets and should no be able to change their mind. The seller repost the tickets at higher price.
Hi Martha,
Hope you are doing well and that you enjoyed the event!
We give all of our sellers a window to confirm tickets, to make sure they still have the inventory available to be able to fulfill before confirming. In some rare situations, such as this, it looks like they may have rejected the order due to having priced it wrong. That said, I do fully understand the frustration on having the ticket price increase on you.
I will make sure we forward this information on to our team, as we are always looking for ways to improve our platform and make sure the event going experience is top notch.
The whole site is set up trick you into overpurchasing
The whole site is set up to make is as easy as possible to overpurchase, with no confirmation windows or verification.
I attempted to purchase one ticket - the site defaulted to 2. I recognized it the the second I hit pay, but there was no way to cancel - even though I saw it instantaneously, as in before the card was charged.
I then contacted customer service was told I had to agree more service terms and accept the tickets before they would even request a refund. And then, surprise, no refund was possible even though I had reached out to them in less than a minute.
They then offered that I could sell the tickets through them (more fees to them) and offered me a coupon for purchasing through them in the future (not going to happen). So everything about the customer service interaction was an attempt for them to make more money off of me.
I'll never use them again, even if they have the cheapest tickets.
Hey There,
Thanks for reaching out. I want to take the time to address your concerns here.
We do have a confirmation screen. After you select the section you want you are taken to a page that shows the number of tickets and cost. After that screen there is a final confirmation screen that shows the full cost of the order, number of tickets, and all other relevant information. You need to confirm your order on that page.
We do realize you had intended to buy 1 ticket and not 2 as you had selected by mistake. However, our policy is that all sales are final. The reason for this is that we are a secondary ticket marketplace and connect buyers with sellers. So we can't cancel or amend orders as that effects the seller.
If you don't need or want the additional ticket, you can sell it on our or any other secondary ticket marketplace. As we cannot offer a refund our agent was providing a solution. The promo code you were offered is a courtesy and does not expire so if you ever do use our service again it will be there.
Warm Regards,
SeatGeek CX Team
I recently purchased tickets for a reds game through there website when I got to the game they told me my tickets were invalid because they sent me tickets for the game the day before I have tried multiple time to get a hold of someone for a refund but I have yet to be given an answer or a refund
Hi Jessica, we're sorry to hear about this and this is the exact experience is what we're working to eliminate. It's why we have very strict agreements with our sellers. It's disappointing to hear that we let you down this time. You mentioned that you reached out to our CX team. I assure you that we'll be having someone contact you ASAP to make this right for you.
This was the first time I could not print the tickets I purchased. First the website said I would need to download the Seatgeek app to get my tickets. Then I received an email I thought was spam that said I would have to download the MLB app to get my tickets. I needed to contact your customer service to make sure I was doing it right. It was VERY confusing.
Hi Phyllis, thanks so much for taking the time to leave a review, and we do apologize for the confusion regarding this ticket transfer! Ideally, all mobile tickets can be delivered directly through the SeatGeek platform, but we're doing our best to accommodate MLB fans this season as more teams switch to mobile transfers. We're also continuously working to push as much information out proactively as possible so the users affected by these third-party ticket transfers are aware that they're coming prior to delivery. We always appreciate user feedback--it's what helps us provide the features that everyone wants the most! Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns about this order or just in general. Thank you again!
My boyfriend lives in the Fort Lauderdale area and I was visiting him for the weekend from NYC. We wanted to go to a Heat game because we both enjoy NBA basketball. I was so pleased with the ticket prices, the game was a blast!
Easy to use and makes getting tickets for any event a fast and simple process. I use this app to buy additional tickets for SKC games and I love that I can just click and buy tickets in less than a few minutes.
Bought a trip and tix to The Chicks in Nashville for my wife. The show cancelled and now I can't find a phone number to call and the only option they give is to return the tickets for a credit. That what they can resell them and get 2x the money. What a ripoff. I didn't get the show. You resell the tickets at the rescheduled date and give me a refund please.
SeatGeek is the Web's largest event ticket search engine. Discover events you love, search all ticket sites, see seat locations and get the best deals on tickets.
Hi Amy,
Very sorry to hear you are experiencing issues getting your baseball tickets. This season the MLB has started requiring that tickets be fulfilled primarily through their app, MLB Ballpark. So our sellers are forced to use that at the means of delivery.
That said, we are always here to help you and want to assure you get the tickets. If you need any help making sure you get the tickets, or navigating the setup of the MLB Ballpark app, please do not hesitate to contact us. You can call us at 888.506.4101 or email us at hi@seatgeek.com
Warm Regards,
