After pressing the buy option for 2 theater tickets, Seat Geek sent back an ambiguous message saying the transaction may not have gone through and that I should check my email. When I checked my email there was no confirmation from Seat Geek. Presuming that the transaction had failed, I ordered 2 more tickets. A minute later two email confirms arrived for 2 tickets each. I contacted Seat Geek's customer service immediately; they told me that all ticket sales were final, and that I should attempt to sell the tickets through their service. When I failed to get them to reconsider, I attempted to offer the 2 extra tickets for sale at a loss, but their service said they were ineligible! I don't often feel like a chump, but I did after dealing with them. 3 days later, Fernando from their customer service emailed to say they had secured a refund from the box office. After it was credited, I altered the review from 1 star to 4 stars. Walter Masterson
I purchased tickets from Seat Geek to Sabrina Carpenter two months prior to the show. I received the tickets via email and added them to my Ticketmaster account. Three hours prior to the concert I got a notification from Ticketmaster that the tickets were invalid. Seat Geek customer service was useless and we were unable to attend the show. I've now spent 18 days communicating with seat geek via email and phone in which I'm continually told their team is working on it. I'm out over $700 and this company has made no attempts to refund me despite their buyer guarantee. Horribly incompetent customer service, would never trust to buy from them again.
No problems whatsoever. Site worked. Tickets were real. Tickets scanned in the app. Wish tickets could be transferred to Apple Wallet, but thats a minor gripe.
I bought ticket 3 tickets for an NFL playoff game at $130 a piece. I received a confirmation email and my check account was debited. After making travel arrangements, I received an email 2 days later saying the tickets were no longer available. I believe it was because the tickets had spiked in those 2 days to $460 a piece and the seller would rather get hit with the minimal fees that SeatGeek hits them with instead of selling the tickets to me at the agreed upon price. I WOULD NEVER USE SEATGEEK IN THE FUTURE IF I THOUGHT THAT THE TICKETS MIGHT GO UP IN VALUE BECAUSE THE SELLER CAN SIMPLY DECLINE THE SALE WITHIN 24 HOURS AND SEATGEEK DOES NOTHING TO HELP YOU OUT. I had several friends who used Ticketmaster and StubHub for the event and had no problems. I cannot afford the tickets at $460 a piece, so I will not be able to watch my first Buffalo Bills playoff game in 17 YEARS because of this oversight.
Tip for consumers:
Have used StubHub and Ticketmaster before, both are WAY better than this site.
I thought the tickets I purchased were very reasonably priced, and so easy to get. My daughter and her friends have enjoyed each concert they've attended.
This is the second time purchasing tickets. It is super easy and always cheaper than anywhere else. I searched all other available sellers prior to purchasing.
Had a hard time trying to convert PDF to be able to sell tickets at the stadium in AZ. Finally gave up and tried to sell the original tickets that I purchased from SeatGeek. Very frustrated, there was no copy to PDF on my IPhone.
I bought five Utah Jazz tickets and three are in one area and two are in a different section I have tried to contact seek geek for over a week, but no response. The phone number they have is also disconnected the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE or should I say NO CUSTOMER SERVICE! RIDICULOUS. I think I'm gonna contact the Delta center to find out what is going on with my tickets and why are they not in the same section since seat geek is the official ticket sales of the Utah jazz… I CALL BS!
If I could leave 0 stars I would. I purchased tickets in October for a Flyers Hockey game in Philadelphia for the 17th their home opener. After driving 2 hours to Philly I learned upon my arrival that the games time got pushed up and hour and not once was I notified of this change. I purchased more than one ticket so it was not cheap. The arena was not letting people in after the first hour of the game I was unaware I was missing. My tickets still stated the starting time was 7pm. I immediately reach out to seatgeek customer service where they said they'd reach back out in 2 days. 2 WEEKS later absolutely nothing from them I reach out again and spoke with someone new now addressing my original issue as well as the company ignoring my emails for 2 weeks. A few days later the team came up with their version of a solution which was to offer a 50% promo code for me to purchase new tickets? As if I'd ever use the company again. My response was that I was dis satisfied with that "solution" as to which they said "no worries you can use it up to 12 months from the issue date 50% promo for you to purchase and you can sell it to regroup your funds" Why would I purchase new tickets to sell and get the money back from those tickets that serves no purpose I still lost the money i spent on my original tickets. Absolutely ridiculous it's no wonder their reviews are soo low. Do yourselves the favor and go through any other seller.
Do not use or trust SeatGeek
Do not use or trust SeatGeek. I purchased tickets from them based on their listing that the tickets were located in the 1914 Club at Wrigley Field.
When I received the tickets, they were not located in the 1914 Club at Wrigley.
I contacted SeatGeek multiple times asking them to honor their "Buyer Guarantee". They refused to honor or even acknowledge the "Buyer Guarantee". (Which is listed on their website)
They expected me to chase down 3rd party sellers of the tickets even though I found the tickets on SeatGeek and purchased them on their web site. SeatGeek did not lift a finger. This was a terrible customer service.
Again, do not trust SeatGeek. They offer absolutely no remedy if you do not receive the actual tickets from their web site.

Hey Mike,
So looking at your order this was purchased using our platform but purchased from Ticket Network. When you select a listing it shows who the seller of the ticket is. Most of our tickets are branded as SeatGeek or Marketplace (marketplace being tickets listed by fellow users) but others can be listed by Ticket Network, Eventbrite, or other third party partners.
As they use their own payment processors for the orders, they are not backed by the guarantee nor can we process any refunds for those orders. We are happy always to make sure you get connected with them should you have any issue!
In orders that we handle the processing on, which is the bulk of our listings the guarantee is in effect and we can refund, find comparable tickets, or otherwise assist.
Warm Regards,
SeatGeek CX Team
Don't ever use this biz all they do is use Ticket master and charge you 3x fees. Do yourself a favor and just use ticker TM could of saved myself $120 on the same exact seats.
Tip for consumers:
Just don't!

Concert tickets. Can't even get a refund so I could've just bought from ticket master instead, all they give you is a credit of your purchase. It's an extra $120 I could of used at the event. To me all they are are ticket scalpers raising the fees 3-4x of ticket master
Easy to use, pictures of the venue seating make for a much better choice regarding tickets, took me only a few minutes from wanting tickets to having ones that were better than what I was expecting.
I used seatgeek to find an affordable set of tickets for the recent UFC event, and I did, for good seats too. So I got everything I wanted from the site, like I always have since I started using the service.
I am getting concerned. I bought these tickets three days ago and they are still listed as XFER MOBILE DELIVERY. I need to print or have them available mobile today or tomorrow please and I don't know how to access the tickets. If they are coming from another provider, I don't know who that is and why I haven't heard from them yet. I was expecting an email notification from a third party, but we are now 4 days and counting...
Last night I purchased 5 tickets through SeatGeek for the upcoming Northwestern v Michigan football game on October 23rd. I was notified the seller transferred his tickets by SeatGeek, but he ONLY TRANFERRED 3 TICKETS. I still have not received the remaining 2. I have emailed support and been on hold with customer service for over an hour and have not received a response.
Update: Customer service answered after two hours and they are contacting the seller to transfer the remaining tickets. Will slightly improve my rating if I actually receive the remaining tickets.
Update 2: I received my remaining two tickets from a different seller. I am glad to have my tickets, but I should not have to call customer service to get everything I ordered. The third party transfer process needs to be more transparent.
Tip for consumers:
This site will work if you're willing to use up your own time contacting customer service.

I feel that seat geek is very fast and easy. It's also very reliable because I've used it the past. I would definitely recommend this app to my friends and family.
The App for Seat Geek is very easy to use. They include fees in all the prices already while browsing which makes it much less difficult looking for tickets to events!
Had a little technical issue printing my tickets so I jumped on the chat and within minutes one of the great customer service representatives emailed a pdf to my personal email.
Great way of finding low prices and easy to check daily for their low prices available. Love how they show you a view of the court/arena/field when making decisions on seats
Very fast and easy. I love SeatGeek because they keep me in the loop of all the cool events happening in LA. And they're always coming through with some good deals!
Seemingly Fraudulent Business. On June 7th, right after hearing Messi was going to Miami, I bought tickets to see him on Seatgeek, to the closest team, Charlotte. The money came out of my account and the order status on my Seatgeek account page had the tickets listed as 'waiting for confirmation'. It was like that on my account page from June 7th until today, the day of the game. Under the Seatgeek FAQs it says 'confirmation' will come within 24 hours of the event. Today when it still had my tickets listed as 'waiting for confirmation' I called Seatgeek. After waiting on hold for 30+ minutes the guy tells me those tickets were canceled on June 8th. Obviously the tickets were canceled because the ticket prices went way up later the day I purchased them. I don't know how this isn't against the law but what're you going to do? That was my first and last experience with Seatgeek.
Purchased 2 tickets to see Pearl Jam on 9/2 in St Paul, MN. Bought the tickets 2 days prior to the show, last minute decision. Invited my son who lives 45 minutes from me to see the show. Son drove to my home 2 hours before the show started, had not received any tickets or notification of delay for the tickets. Decided to drive toward the venue, another 45 minute drive only to discover the seller (tickets were confirmed) did not release the tickets and probably sold them on another site. I was informed by SeatGeek that I was entitled to a full refund +20% for an inconvenience fee. Although I was happy about that, I was really looking forward to the show. Fast forward to now 9/14, still no refund. Was told on the night of the show the refund would take 3-5 business days. I find out today after pestering them all afternoon yesterday that they just processed my refund on 9/13 and it would be an additional 3-5 business days and the kicker here, just found out this morning, the 20% inconvenience fee will take 30 business days. Thats right, 6 WEEKS! This was the first time I used them and it may be the last unless I am desperate. Buyer beware!
I wish I had seen these reviews prior to purchasing but as I am on hold with them after them being rude to me, I stumbled across this forum.
I bought tickets a week ago and still hadn't received an email and they aren't in my account area on the website; he told me to check again and I said this is why I am calling you the event is two days away with no tickets. I wanted a refund but that wasn't allowed, and they wouldn't budge.
I just wanted to put my money towards ticketmaster where they may be more expensive but their customer service is great and never had a problem.
So, I am never purchasing from seetgeak again as its a scam and customer service reps are very rude!

Seatgeek is a huge waste of time and borders on a scam. If you order tickets for an event, it does not mean you will get the tickets. Sellers can post tickets that they don't have or are trying to sell at multiple prices. You place an order, pay and assume that's a done deal but then the seller can decide not to sell you the ticket (because the price is too low or they don't actually have the ticket) and you are stuck.
Worst of all this process is not instantaneous. I bought last minute tickets and didn't find out that SG didn't actually have the tickets they listed and accepted payment for until after the event had started. Nothing online or in my account said "sorry tickets not available". I had to call to figure out what the deal was. If SG had immediately let me know that the ticket listings was a scam, I would have found tickets elsewhere. Instead, I had to call to discover that despite selecting tickets and paying for them, I really didn't buy tickets at all. Meanwhile the event started and I had to find a more reputable seller.
Don't waste your time with this untrustworthy and dishonest service. You're get more reliable service from the guys hustling in the parking lot.
Great service, tickets arrived well in advance of event, no hassles at event gate. Will definitely be using this service again and recommend to others.
My order was issued effortlessly on the SeatGeek app And the tickets arrived very quickly! I will definitely be ordering tickets for various events again!
SeatGeek is the Web's largest event ticket search engine. Discover events you love, search all ticket sites, see seat locations and get the best deals on tickets.
Hi Drew, thank you for bringing this to our attention. We take matters concerning the various vendors who list on SeatGeek very seriously, and we appreciate any comments that customers can provide about their experiences on our site - whether they are positive or negative.
If you can send our support team any additional information in regard to your interaction with TicketNetwork, I would really appreciate it. In order to provide a better marketplace, we are constantly working with our customers and our vendors to improve the ticket buying experience on SeatGeek. If a specific issue becomes a trend with a vendor, we will remove their listings. We will follow up with the vendor directly to make sure that they are aware of the issue at hand and the negative experience it has created.
Although this does not erase the poor experience you had, your feedback will allow us to improve user experience. Ultimately, we hope to create a better system where this does not happen. Again, we're sorry this has occurred.
