While purchasing tickets for Cabaret on Broadway, I accidentally purchased tics for the wrong date (had 2 windows open!). I immediately realized my mistake, found a customer service phone number and called. I explained what happened to 'Kate', and was told that it may be possible to exchange tickets for the date I actually wanted. About 4 hours later I received a call back with a confirmation that the exchange had gone through and that my new tics were available on the app. I know that SeatGeek policy is that all purchases are final, but because these tics were a few months out they were able to assist. I appreciated the customer service.
I purchased tickets from Seat Geek to Sabrina Carpenter two months prior to the show. I received the tickets via email and added them to my Ticketmaster account. Three hours prior to the concert I got a notification from Ticketmaster that the tickets were invalid. Seat Geek customer service was useless and we were unable to attend the show. I've now spent 18 days communicating with seat geek via email and phone in which I'm continually told their team is working on it. I'm out over $700 and this company has made no attempts to refund me despite their buyer guarantee. Horribly incompetent customer service, would never trust to buy from them again.
My phone has free wifi only so I can not show my tickets on my phone unless if have free wifi. Could be a problem.

I lost 20% of what I paid for my ticket and lost a lot of money. Never going to resell my tickets back to SeatGeek.

We fully understand it can be a frustrating experience to need multiple apps to get tickets. That is a perfectly valid concern and one I wanted to be sure we addressed. A really good work around for if you are not sure you will have the connectivity to utilize the app at the event is to take a screen shot. The screen shot of the mobile QR code will scan just fine from your photo roll and that way in a worst case scenario you don't have to worry about not being able to access the WiFi to bring up your tickets.
