While purchasing tickets for Cabaret on Broadway, I accidentally purchased tics for the wrong date (had 2 windows open!). I immediately realized my mistake, found a customer service phone number and called. I explained what happened to 'Kate', and was told that it may be possible to exchange tickets for the date I actually wanted. About 4 hours later I received a call back with a confirmation that the exchange had gone through and that my new tics were available on the app. I know that SeatGeek policy is that all purchases are final, but because these tics were a few months out they were able to assist. I appreciated the customer service.
The seller pay 10% and buyers pay up to 40% and you don't see the break down unless you put in the search price without fees. Can't reach a human to speak with This is the official site of MLB contact you team to tell them that fans are being ripped off
It was very easy to purchase my tickets with lots of price options! There were also plenty of games to choose from.
Ive used the app before with great ease, but this time I had to call all over town to try and get my ticket printed and was late to the concert.
So easy to find great seats at a great price! I use it for all my ticket needs! Look for the green dot and you know you're getting the best price.
I can always find tickets by the best value or cheapest seats with SeatGeek and I get them almost immediately.
Will not use this company and hope they are out of business soon. Not a good company and no support.
I had never used SeatGeek before, but I had heard some rumors that you could get good deals on last minute tickets, so I decided to check it out for the Nets vs Celtics game on 1/6/2018. I had been following the ticket prices for about a day or two before the game and they were slowly going down so I decided to wait to purchase until about an hr before game time because I live relatively close to the stadium. The app said I would get my tickets "within" an hr or basically by the start of the game. I headed to the arena while the app continued to count down to the ticket delivery and met friends who I had purchased tickets for as well. We got in line thinking the tickets would arrive to the app/inbox while we waited to get in, but after the game started and I didn't receive anything I called the customer service number. After they put me on hold for about 10 minutes, they said the seller decided not to sell and that my best bet was to purchase from the box office. This blew my mind that the seller could back out of the transaction at their discretion after my credit card had been charged. Not to mention, the seller was listed as SeatGeek, which apparently means it was an official vendor/partner of the app, but in reality just means nothing. The box office had tickets, but of course they were about $450 each, which is how much the 4 tickets I bought from the app cost in total so we declined and headed home in the cold, but warmed with rage! DO NOT USE SEAT GEEK AS LONG AS THEY ALLOW SELLERS TO BACK OUT OF TRANSACTIONS!
Hi Al, thanks for reaching out about this and providing an explanation of what happened with your order.
For further context, SeatGeek is simply a platform that connects ticket buyers with sellers. After every order’s been submitted, it goes into a pending state. That way sellers can check their inventory to make sure they can fulfill the order.
If they can, they confirm the sale and pass along the tickets. If for some reason they can’t, it’s cancelled and the pending charge is voided. Luckily that doesn’t happen very often, and it's usually due to the tickets having already sold elsewhere or to a buyer who'd submitted an order just prior to yours coming through.
With that being said, I do see that this seller didn't respond as quickly as we expect them to for last-minute orders, so that's definitely something we'll be looking into. In the meantime, a member of our support team will be following up with you directly to hopefully provide a way to make your next experience on SeatGeek better.

It was the best experience that I could even imagine the view was the best part, being able to see the game was good along with the seats itself
FINAL UPDATE 1/11:
SeatGeek will not be paying me interest despite holding my funds for 7 months.
Takeaways:
1) I should have fully vetted them before posting tickets. That was my bad.
2) They certainly don't advertise payment after the event takes place and are unwilling to make a one-time, non-monetary concession to a repeat customer that felt duped. I will not be using them in the future due to their customer service and overall business model.
UPDATE 1/6:
I have changed my review from 2 stars to 1 star as SeatGeek's solution is not to remit payment to me in this one instance. I asked if they will be paying me interest for holding my funds for 7 months, as I would expect to earn 3.5% over that time period in the stock market. Stay tuned for further updates.
INITIAL POST:
I sold tickets on 12/22, expecting to be paid 3-5 business days after sale. After some discussion with SeatGeek support on whether my bank info was correct, I was told I would not be paid until after the EVENT. The event is 7 months in the future (7/20/2017). It is ridiculous for them to hold my money for 7 months. In my opinion, the slogan, "Sell tickets on SeatGeek. Just upload your tickets, add a price and get paid." is deceiving since you do not get paid right away, which is far from the industry norm.
Yesterday I asked SeatGeek if they could remit payment to me in this instance given I was unaware of their policy. I have not yet received a response. I followed up again this morning but haven't heard back yet. I will update this review upon a positive response from SeatGeek, however I felt I had to post now given the lack of email response and no contact number. Stay tuned!

I find Stub Hub a better choice. You always know what you getting and they deliver what you ordered. My comments on Seat Geek - Buyer Beware
My experience is as follows:
I saw on Seat Geek Section: 31 Row: AAAA with a big Green Dot meaning "Great Deal"
What I thought I was ordering from TNDirect was Section: 31 Row: 4A
What I actually ordered - Section: 31 Row: 4A-5Q ( even the TNDirect phone agent had to ask her manager what this meant)
What I received is Section: 31 Row: 4L ( clearly not deserving of a big Green Dot)
Maybe I was naive but In my view this is a deception. I feel the site, the seat rating, and the shell game of moving a client from one expectation to something else is not honest brokering.
My advice... Buyer Beware or simply use StubHub. They are honest brokers
The mobile app exchange seemed a little more confusing than tickets I've purchased from Seat Geek in the past.
Purchased multiple tix over the last few months for multiple events and everything has been as advertised
SeetGeek was very user friendly and the tickets arrived on my phone very quickly. Overall great experience.
Buying my tickets with SeatGeek is easy and quick. There are no hassles and its simple. So glad I can use them for my LAFC experiences!
Title says it all. SeatGeek is a fast, reliable way to get cheap tickets to any ticketed event you can really want to attend.
SeatGeak is way over priced compared to other sites. Bought Raptors tickets once and found them half the price on other sites. Never again.
I'm happy that I received discounted prices on the tix, however your fees added to those prices brought the price right back up. Disappointing!
Hi Elaine,
Thanks for the review. We're happy to know you had an easy time buying tickets with us!
We know that fees are the worst part of buying tickets, but we try to keep our fees as low as possible to ensure our customers get a good deal. We use the fees we get to improve our platform, maintain our marketplace, employ our customer service team, and such.
Although fees will always be there, we still care about having the best prices. That's why we offer a price match. If you find the tickets cheaper on another secondary marketplace, we will give you a promo code for 110% of the difference!
Warmly,
SeatGeek CX Team
My purchase was quick and easy. I receive the tix timely and keeping my fingers crossed that they are going to work in July
Do not trust them, they are fraud, they have no idea how to communicate with Ticketmaster so do not try it! I promise. You'll get screwed!

We have been able to see several concerts now that I didn't think we would be able to. Prices are great and it is so easy!
I wish the added fees were shown before checkout so you know exactly how much you'll spend. Tickets vary as to the fees attached to them.

Hey Michelle--that's an easy fix! Just make sure that when you're on the app, you have the tickets filtered to "Show Prices with Fees". If you're using the website, just toggle the option and make sure prices "With Fees" are shown! That way, when you go to checkout, we'll know the exact price you're paying per ticket and won't be surprised!
I have been using your guys app since the beginning of the season and everything has been working out great, thanks. Keep up the good work.
It was nice and it was easy... 10/10 would do it again! I love that they have an app as well. Makes selling and sharing my tickets a lot easier

Hi Brooke — thanks for leaving feedback! E-ticket simply means that the ticket will be delivered electronically, not necessarily that you can use your device at the event to gain entry. We've reviewed your order and once delivered, the email provides a link, noting that you can print your tickets or view the details. The ticket itself also reads "MUST PRINT ON PAPER. NOT VALID FOR ENTRY VIA MOBILE DEVICE." We're sorry to hear you were delayed on getting to your show! For future ticket purchases, just be sure to check to see if tickets are valid for mobile entry. If we can help in any other way, do let us know!
