Competitors pay the return costs by exchange of goods. SmartBuyGlasses is not good enough! This cost I had to pay myself and I`ve waited six weeks to get new glasses. (Still not received). My next purchase will be at supplier with free Exchange Policy.
I'm not sure this is a legitimate company: ordered sunglasses over a month ago, followed up 6 or 7 times to find out where they are and had only 2 responses to all my emails. Those responses come from the same email address, have almost identical body copy but are signed off with different names. Never had any confirmation as to when my order will be delivered, and nothing in the emails is personalised. Recently sent another 4 emails but not had a response, and the tracking number doesn't work. DON'T USE THEM.
Received only part of my order and was told I needed to write a hand-written letter to them before they'd send additional lenses. The phone number on their website doesn't work, so there's no one to talk to.

I'm sorry I haven´t read this before I bought my glasses through this website.
It is the same history as many off you, my order was supposed to be flagged up for suspicious transaction and I did what they told, finally I've had my transaction going and now it's been one month since I have no answer from them, they just say that the distributor is sending my order at the end of each week, but sadly, nothing happens.
I thing I cannot do anything more than just complain about it and write this review hoping anyone else will be caught in this trap.
It's over a month that I ordered my glasses and I still haven't received them. The customer service is horrible and they keep giving me the run around! Now they say it could be another 3 weeks! These people are not organised nor do they care about their customers!
There were several trials/tribulations with different products being back ordered or not available. Communication was decent and refunds/payments were worked out easily and quickly. I'd order from them again, but not before checking on inventory/ availability first!
Finally, I have my new glasses. They are great and no doubt I saved a lot of money. The process however has caused much frustration. The website options were not up-to-date and I selected glasses that after many days was told they would not be available.
I had concerns with the choices only to discover that all of the local eye wear stores didn't have anything better that interested me. Many promises, not-so-good fulfillment. Eventually I did receive my glasses and love them. Improve the process and I'll be back.

This is a shady website. The glassses they send you are not the ones you prushase or see on their website. I paid a lot of money for nice black frames by Police, and received plastic glasses grey and orange befitting an 8 year-old. Never again!

Great prices but despite ordering from a Canadian domain, it did not indicate product was to be shipped stateside. Brokerage fee of $30 was added upon delivery. Made the buying prices less than ideal.

I ordered oakley ox 5118 along with lens on 27-07-2017. Status showing that rx lens are processing. Now again they are saying the frame received was shiny grey instead of polished black. And it takes 5-14 days for shipping? How many days one can wait because of your mistakes? How can one be so careless regarding customer order? Is the right way to treat the customers. Hugely Disappointed with smart buy glasses. Please make my order on priority basis and make it as early as possible. Then only you can make me happy. Looking for positive outcome.

I ordered prescription eyeglasses from SmartBuyGlasses.com thinking I was saving money. However, you get what you pay for. I've had multiple issues during the order/return process. First, the item that was "in stock" took over 35 days to arrive. Second, the glasses arrived with a loose hinge, scratches on the frame, and glue spots left around the frame. Finally, when I tried to return the items, they don't give clear return instructions with customer service providing a different address that what you get when you enter the RMA# at USPS. So, it feels like even if you have an issue, they will make it very difficult to return/fix the problem. Stay away!

Ordered frames on 12/23/2016. Contacted almost a week later to be told they were out of stock, but inventory confirmed with manufacture and that I should have frames within 1 - 4 weeks. We are now 5 weeks later (6 weeks from order placement) and I still do not have my frames.
Contact customer service and the best response they can give is that they will need to check with their buyer to confirm status and will let me know within 24 hours by email... it should be interesting to see how this resolves.
At this point, I would recommend anyone to stay away from this company unless you want to deal with headaches, poor customer service, and wait for false promises to be delivered on.

This was a great site that offers quality glasses at a discount price. You can't beat the prices of the lenses which includes free upgrades. I am waiting for them to offer mirror finishes on sunglasses. I will definitely purchase from them again.
I purchased glasses for my boyfriend in November 2017. A week later received an automated email saying they frames we selected had been discontinued (although the website said they were available at the time of purchase). The email had no instructions on how to update the order.
I emailed customer service with the details of another frame he liked, to change the order. It is now Mid February 2018 and I have not had any confirmation the order has been changed. I have emailed countless times, plus messaged them via their website contact form. It seems they only reply to messages from their contact form - but then don't reply once you respond to their message.
Hopeless! Extremely poor customer service. I have ordered though this company before and my experience was good. But I will never use this company again.

They emailed and said my transaction had been flagged as potentially fraudulent. They asked for copies of my passport, drivers license or other id. I think not baby puppy! But my credit card company said the payment had gone through. I left emails about my concerns and I finally got one back in bad english saying they can't process the order unless I do it PayPal which they will send to me. On the website, there is no live chat function or telephone numbers and it doesn't recognize my number so only way to communicate with them is by email. I think its a scam and I am going to dispute the charges with my credit card company.

Size shown on site is my regular size with almost every brand, I understand that company changes so do size but when I ordered glasses from you guys they were kids size and even in description there was no mention of this.
