I own a trailer storage unit rental company. My company is exactly the same as the company PODS which delivers units to your desired location only my units are literally on wheels and can be hitched to a truck for easy and quick delivery to my customers. I requested to use their facility online auctioning system so as to sell the contents of lien units, just like PODS does. I was denied the services by Chris Rosa's supervisor. Chris Rosa is a Business Development Manager for StorageTreasures and is also a Licensed Auctioneer. I'm not sure why I'm being treated differently than PODS, but it is very unprofessional on their part do deny me, at a minimum, an opportunity to see if they fit my needs as a storage unit rental business. The good thing is that there are tons of other businesses just like them and was able to easily move on to my Plan B. NEXT!
Be very careful dealing with storage treasures. They only care about themselves and the storage companies. They promote theft and fraud to no limit. They do not care about the consumer. I have bought 2 empty units and numerous units with things removed from them. I received no help, no refund. These people are horrible
Last 7 auctions I've bid over the last 2 months, 3 of them were at 1 facility, I bid high and watched for weeks. Each 1 of them 'Cancelled' when the timer reached the last hour. Coincidence? Bizarre for sure. Exactly on the last hour. The other 4 were at a different facility. Again, ending on different days, I watched again for weeks on each only to be cancelled 1 day. And I mean exactly as 1 day turned on the clock. Idk what shady sh#t is going on. Are they taking possession of their own lockers? Do they have unknown reserves that a program 'cancels' at a certain time? All I know is it makes no sense that renters come in different times of the month to pay their bill at the EXACT time for each auction.
We apologize to all we have recommended this site to and were eventually scammed and several of you who literally lost everything. When we recommended we thought the scams were being combatted by open tech alliance / Public Storage. But we have seen the opposite and the stories from yall have gone WAY UP! We apologize and are behind the scene making something happen. We hate doing this but we feel responsible in a way.
My friend who buys storage units got suspended for no reason. The payment went trough and she got refunded right away cuz she thought that the unit got canceled. Without calls or notifications this company just ignores problems like this and decided to just block people, my friend always picked up everything from the unit and left it clean. I think that everyone should just stop bidding on this website they we'll change policy cuz they wouldn't want their business go down. There are always better solutions to everything. I don't know why they cry like $#*!es over nothing.
They just hooked me. I've been using them for almost six months with no major issues. However I got a winning unit invoice dated yesterday 2/24/22 which I paid for today. Immediately the invoice changed to Default and directed seller not to release contents to me because I failed to pick up contents before allotted time, though I have the screenshot of the initial invoice dating pick up before 2/27/22. Customer service is completely uncooperative and obviously aware that they scam people, and when I requested a supervisor she refused. Actually REFUSED to get one. This is beyond belief. I've already placed a call to my attorney, and I'm letting everyone know in as many places as I can to ward off people from getting taken like this. Thank God I have the proof in writing.
I have used this sight for years to buy auctions with no problems. Bought an auction and it was disintegrated by mice and roaches. Told storage place to keep my deposit and the stuff. Even though I should have demanded my deposit back. They stopped me from even buying units which is my major income. So disgusted by these people right now. Was told it doesn't matter if the storage unit is at fault for it all being destroyed I still had to pay and remove contents. I don't think so. Why would I pay for garbage?
After spending the money on paid subscription and winning the action got disappointed when got to the location, as the unit was not ready for selling, although I won it. Also, the pro membership can be accidentally downgraded, and even if you paid for whole month you still will be paying again, just because that's the system. Support is bad, they will send email and close the conversation. Maybe it's just me, but be careful
First off, you have to realize that StorageTreasures doesn't run the storage facilities and it's often not their fault when a unit is pulled from auction. One thing I -have- noticed is how many times auctions end for exactly my highest bid. As a buyer on ebay for over 20 years this is pretty suspicious but hey, maybe just coincidence. And the amount of auctions cancelled due to paperwork issues or being settled is getting a little crazy. Seems like the storage facilities are just too eager to list the units before making sure they can be sold. Take this one for example... had one yesterday that I won, was charged for, but then got a phone call saying they messed up the paperwork and they had to send a new certified letter to the occupant before they could sell the unit & it would have to be relisted. Magically it was back up for auction two days later. That's some fast paperwork and mail service! Or did it just not end for enough... hmm...
I actually love storage treasures it's some of the facilities that's the problem "cube smart #0697" will auction rooms and then come up with a reason you can't get the room after you won my advise be cautious when bidden on their rooms
Answer: Plase be careful this unit are from people who already purchased units took what's good then resale what's not worth to them.
