I won an auction from storage treasures. Upon opening the unit I noticed that there were several items missing and the unit had been searched by management. They claimed that they could not sell ammo and had to remove it, but why was the coat rack searched? And why were none ammo items taken? Also there was a safe inside the unit, the manager told me that he shook the safe and it "felt light and empty". But did not put that in the original description. Was promised a refund several times then ultimately denied a refund. The owner refused to disclose his full name and hid behind his lawyer. Dishonest, deceptive and cheats! Storage treasures? More like storage scammers
Be prepared to deal with your favorite auctions to be cancelled at any moment and for auctions to restart even if only a couple hours away. I had less than 12 hours left on a bin and I checked to see if I was still the highest bidder and the time had been reset to 7 more days. Don't get your hopes up.
Spent $4200 on a auction that seemed like a good deal
Its basically staged crap that they put valuable stuff in the front and in the rear its all filler trash.
I bought 3+ auctions from this website all trash. If you reallly need to buy a unit don't spend more than half your bid as if your going to a physical live auction
Extremely poor customer service by SINA and storage treasures. I bought a storage unit auction came to pick it up the next day and they say it isn't even ready for pick up for another hour and a 45 minutes because they messed up the times and they won't do any kind of credit, super poor customer service just ridiculous. Storage treasures email they sent me said the unit is ready for pick up.
The employees or the management go through the stuff you bought before you arrive to pick it up. They're so arrogant they dont even try to hide the fact that they took everything of value. You pay to clean out their storage units and take everything to the dump.
Criminals.
I won an auction from a private seller on the Storage Treasures. All items were broken and damaged. The seller has broken all rules of the auction. When I made a report nobody from support helped me nobody care if lost your money. Highly recommend everyone stay away from this scum auction.
Set up an appointment after auction closed, only to get a call back to inform me that the owner of the unit had "settled." Why even allow facilities to post listings if they can back out at any time. I also agree with others that people are rumaging through lockers ahead of time, there is no quality control or accountability for what's being posted.
Edit: turns out storagetreasures still felt the need to charge me 40$ cancelation fee, despite the facility being the ones to cancel. Really have nothing good to say about this company
Unit was filled with bicycle boxes that were filled with more flattened boxes and regular boxes filled with smaller empty boxes. Over half the unit was cardboard. There were
13 bicycles in back of unit that were from thrift stores and all were broken. Every other item had a Goodwill or Value Village tag on it. The guy who took me out to open unit said he was bidding on it and knew the unit owner! TOTAL SCAM!
Where do I start first auction I bid it on they had a mistake and they wouldn't take my bid and told me the auction had to go the time it was set. But on Monday they added three minutes on that auction to make more money the mattresses where all stained they wouldn't let me see my units I bought until I pay for them folks they can run you up without a bidder. Both units went for$10 less than my maximum bid. Do yourself a favor and go to a regular storage auction when I asked storage facility why they didn't disclose that mattress was all Stained on one side they said they didn't know you cannot convince me they don't go in and check that unit before they sell it. He is the two reviews that I sent somehow we're deleted
Storagetreasures please fix/correct/change/tell the truth for your online policies and rules. The remarks made here in your answers to legitimate questions do NOT follow the policies and procedures listed on StorageTreasures online web site. And Fraud is the correct word for doing such as mentioned by other reviewers. There is one reply where you tell the absolute truth - that your policies and rules are only suggestions to the storage facility on how to sell their property, where there is no agreement or requirement for them to follow any of StorageTreasures SUGGESTED policies. BUT the buyer is to be held accountable to such rules. So in reality StorageTreasures.com is a storage locker version of Craig's List only you charge a finders fee on all purchases. Forget let the buyer beware - buyer run away!

There are several lockers listed in the Philadelphia area with only a 48 hours clean out time. If the minimum clean out time is supposed to be 72 hours, why can the Seller enter 48?
Answer: Plase be careful this unit are from people who already purchased units took what's good then resale what's not worth to them.

Hi Simon,
I am sorry to hear that this happened! We don't recommend to any of the self storage facilities not to cross the threshold when taking pictures of the units. Please let us know which seller did this so we can note your experience and keep a look out for more customers who have had this happen to them.
Regards,
