I started my subscription with Thrive because so many specialty items I wanted were not available to me without making an hour drive to the closest Wegmans. I have come to value Thrive's own brand and I have never been disappointed with the quality of their products. Their prices are consistently better on the things I use regularly and I really like the ease of use of the app for ordering. The few times I've ever had an issue with an order it was resolved quickly and cheerfully.

I have been happy with every product but the shipping is quite lacking. I don't know if this is a Thrive issue or a Fedex issue, but shipping takes so long and then I've had it delayed multiple times. I know I should just order sooner, but I'm always surprised at how long it takes. I was expecting a delivery today (order placed over a week ago), and checked online to find that it won't be here until Monday :(

They show that products cost less than what they actually do. For example, I went to go buy a product that cost $7.99. When I logged in, it was listed for $9.99.
Also, I went to go buy $50 worth of product. At check out, I clicked to authorize the $50 fee plus tax. I checked my credit card statement days later and they have charged me $60 for a yearly fee. Total scam. They did pay me back but it's too much of a pain. Not a credible site.

I have been a member for years and just love this company! Always great prices and wonderful service if you have any issues. Shipping is fast and free with a $49 order. The products always arrive very well packaged and undamaged. My favorite online store!

I have been ordering from Thrive Market on a monthly basis for about 3 years now! One time my box came with a tear in one of my bags that spilled some of the contents. All I had to do was tell the company and they gave me a refund! I've been so happy with the shipping speed.

Took about a week to get our food. Considering the issues going on right now, that's pretty good! Customer service is great when I called to figure out an issue (which was my error). I wish there was a little more selection at times, but, again, I understand the supply vs. demand issue right now. Overall, good job!

I am new to Thrive Market because I have always been skeptical about ordering groceries from a non-local, online store. However, I decided to give it a try now that we're in a pandemic. I have to say I have been completely pleased with the customer service, prices, and speed of delivery. The prices are comparable, or better than my local food co-operative, and my box arrived 4 days ahead of the anticipated arrival date. I am loving Thrive Market, so glad I started this subscription! It helps me limit my time spent out in the community while still allowing me to get the staples I need. I have been really impressed with how fast my boxes arrive too. As a person with Celiac disease and food allergies, I was worried that shortages at the store would mean I would not be able to access the items I need. But Thrive Market was the answer for me.

Like most others, we let the "trial membership" lapse and we have been charged $59.95. Thrive Market's response has persistently been, "As a membership based company, we offer...".
There are 3 issues with this:
1. Why not understand whether a membership would be a good fit for a customer BEFORE "offering" the trial?
2. anytime a consumer has to opt-out of paying $, it's a bad situation for a consumer. The customer should have to opt-in to paying $. Does a single purchase from their site constitute an opt-in? Of course not; especially upon checkout, the customer has no choice to reject the "offer".
3. This practice goes against what consumers would "normally" expect from merchants. Just look at the # of complaints.
What percentage of these complaining customers would continue to do business with Thrive Market?

Hi C. P.- We appreciate your feedback. With the purchase of their first order, customers opt in to a 30 day free trial. This offers a chance for them to decide whether Thrive Market is a good fit for them. The free trial can be cancelled anytime, and we do send a trial expiration reminder 5 days prior to the membership charge. There are multiple companies including Netflix and Spotify that offer free trials prior to rolling into a membership. We try to be as transparent as possible regarding our membership model, including noting all details just above the "place order" button at checkout.
My heart broke open when I got the news about Thrive's response to the national crisis. I don't have a lot of money but I do need goods delivered not just now but all the time. Whatever I can buy from them one item or ten., I will! Thrive is helping those who might otherwise have nothing well. THRIVE. This means a lot to me I have become a customer for life. My sincere thanks to Thrive and all your employees. YOU MATTER!

I accepted their offer of a free sample of honey for a shipping charge of $3.95 but was also charged $59.95 annual fee which apparently is automatic when you accept their "FREE" offer. I am in the process of trying to reverse those charges, and to make sure they don't crop up again sometime in the future. From many other customer complaints they don't answer their phones in order to resolve the matter.

Thrive has made it very easy to get groceries during the pandemic. I feel they handled the crisis very well, and are now back on a normal schedule. Lots of vegan and gluten free options! Some of the cans come dented and some of the rice cakes get crumbly, but the items are packed very well - they travel a long way to my home and honestly I'm just happy to have discovered this option. Love that they give free membership to certain professions as well! This is a company with a good heart.

Hi Jessica! We love that our mission is so transparent to our members. If you ever experience damaged items (dented cans, crushed rice cakes, etc) please let us know! We will always be more than happy to reship or provide gift card refunds for damaged products.
Their prices are better than many online stores but to me, the most important factor is that they package their shipments better than any other online grocer. The items all arrive undamaged. The order is 100% complete, nothing has ever been missing in the 3 plus years I have purchased from them. The reviews are accurate = I have not bought one item that disappointed. I will continue to buy for my family from them!
