I love Thrive Market, and have been a member for a long time. Due to Covid-19, I understand it's harder to ship and get items available to us. Unfortunately, I'm in PA where I'm in the yellow and can't get my products for 1-2 weeks plus a small buying window. I totally understand that but, as I was filling my cart the items I wanted were not available. I think as soon as it's in my cart it should be reserved for a time limit. Just like how people buy tickets for a concert, so it's fair. Therefore, this time I was a little disappointed that I could not get those few items, after taking the time to order within the small window for my area. I want to use Thrive now more than ever, so I reduce how often I go out for items. This whole process just deters me.

Just discovered I was charged $30 for a membership 1 year ago! I emailed them asking to cancel (back then) and they emailed back trying to get me to stay, I emailed twice saying I wanted to cancel. Because they replied back with yet another offer and I didn't respond they went ahead and charged me for a membership. Of course now it's too late to be refunded because it's past 180 days. It's ridiculous that I could not have just canceled my membership. Let me in on the class action suit!

I wrote a book called "Believe you Can and You will " and put Thrive Market in my book as a safe place to shop. I can easily see what is in all my products and that makes shopping for me a great experience. I am grateful for this company. I am gluten, dairy and soy free!

So, first, I need to state that this site, based solely on my experience, is that they are not a scam in any way. They make it super clear that this is a membership program and they give you 30 days trial, free shipping and discounts for the first three purchases.
Second, they do seem to offer decent prices for a select group of items.
Third, they don't really make as easy as they should to cancel. I tried to cancel immediately after I placed my first order as I had extensively checked their product line and there were only limited items I would buy. They refused and said I needed to wait until I received my first order. I then went on-line to cancel and I had to ask to cancel THREE times in the chat to get the membership canceled - that is a bit crazy.

As a 30-year-old, slowly transitioning to a more conscious, healthier lifestyle, but who also had a ten-year career in finance, I am consistently analyzing cost verses quality. Despite, my boyfriend and I enjoying the convenience of online shipping and shopping, he has always preferred to do the in-person grocery shopping. Nevertheless, over the last year, we were happy to come across Thrive Market. Despite only doing our pantry shopping through Thrive, we have been very happy with their product selections, prices, and overall quality. The site is easy to use and while shipping is a little slow, it isn't a detractor for us. We hope to continue increasing our orders with Thrive, and look forward to them continuing to grow their business and product selection. Thrive Market branded products have been excellent! I would recommend to anyone.

After the 30-day trial, they charged our credit card for the membership. During the 30 day trial, I could order any number and quantity of items that I wanted. So I did not think that there would be limitations placed on orders once the trial was over. Well, I tried to place an order today and could not order multiples of items I wanted like I was able to during the trial. I was told that they do place limits on certain items you want to order. I never heard of such a thing. But it appears that they only exercise this right as outlined in their agreement for membership after you complete your trial. Very sneaky if you ask us. You should check out their terms for membership at thrivemarket.com/terms. Even if you have paid a membership fee, they reserve the right to limit and refuse to fill your orders if they should so desire. Please beware! We are sorry we joined.

I'm just at the end of my trial period. During the trial period, I found a lot of items I needed, for everything else I went to my local co-op. Everything is really well packaged, and I can even reuse the ziplock bags that liquid things come in. I'm thankful for the descriptions on items, as well as the clear photos of them. Of course, I wish there was more in stock, but I totally get it with the pandemic and everything. I'm also glad there is a way that I can donate to less fortunate families during checkout. I remember when I was part of that group. It was really tough. I do hope that the money is going to good places and is helpful for those that need it. By paying a little extra for items that are organic, eco-friendly, or ethical, I also hope I'm doing my part to influence more of the general grocer chain to invest in the right things.

I love this service and their customer service. I've been ordering regularly special items I love. Their thrive brand grew on me and I am ordering more and more their branded items as well. I only had one issue with a package, but their customer service was very helpful and credit the amount back. I love the selection of special flours, oils, and even organic natural body care products.

I reorder often my preferred products because I can't find what I need in a grocery store. Very convenient cause they deliver right to my door. Spent several hours on first order. Order would not allow checkout. No one answered phone, 1st chat employee left chat before I could ask, 2nd chat person deleted my whole cart and no way to retrieve it. Days later I got an email with a $10 credit. Just tried 2nd attempt. Many items that appear available will become unavailable when you select them. When I tried to checkout this time, it first said one item not available to my address (?), then repeatedly made me delete one item each time that had become unavailable and re-enter my zipcode like 5 times. Each order attempt another item became unavailable and had to re-enter. Finally left with around 7 items like cake mix, not meat for over $85. These prices are Whole Food prices. No bargain.
