I love the quality of Thrive Market. The only available free sample today was diapers for newborns. A 2 pack... not anything I really want to try out.

Your pictures are very small. Sale item pictures are covered up. Makes it hard to know what's there! We'll see if I like these first time ordered products.

I can't count the ways I appreciate Thrive ~ we have relied on Thrive for almost all of our food and supplies for four months now ~ we have never been disappointed. The global pandemic has utterly changed the way we live and I would not feel as safe and secure as I do without Thrive. Knowing I can keep my husband happy and at home literally means the world to me right now.

The quality of the Thrive brand itself is outstanding (salsa tastes like it was made that day). The packing is beautiful ~ absolutely beautiful! It is so important to us to have ethically sourced and healthy food sent to our home; I will never go back to dragging around grocery stores again. I don't understand the people who complain, I really don't (especially whoever complained about packing! It is simply the best packing I have ever seen...). The membership is completely straightforward, honest, fair, and worth it. ALL food companies that deliver run out of stock on some popular items during this crazy pandemic, but how many will send you an email, if you request it, to let you know the minute it is back in stock?

Everything is really clearly explained -- even where the food comes from! Thrive is the most transparent company we deal with and certainly the most ethical and easiest to communicate with (a rarity!). They are trustworthy in our experience. Yes ~ they are different ~ for great reasons! Your average grocery store doesn't give a D - about the environment, the team, the way the food is sourced, or what's in it. If these things (plus quality and convenience!) matter to you, you will not be disappointed.

Tip for consumers:
Take your time and learn the site -- spend some time exploring. I never trust any random website -- I assume there is a gimmick or a trick -- I am a very skeptical and demanding shopper --- Thrive Market has earned my trust and confidence after many orders, all safely delivered. Everyone is two weeks behind, that is only natural right now -- be patient. Think of it like a cross between Whole Foods and Trader Joe's online and with a conscience. Very, very useful!

I really did love Thrive when we signed up a few years ago. The variety of vegan items was great and the prices usually beat the local WF, Natural Grocers and other natural food stores. Little by the little the vegan staples have been disappearing(Amy's, Meyers, Tasty Bites, Bob's Red Mill, Ancient Harvest, Edward & Sons, Schmidt), or haven't been available for some time. Membership ends in a few months, so we'll have to decide if Thrive is still worth it.

... their website claims the following... but their customer service rep says that Thrive Market does NOT give out free food... only free membership!... plus, they do not accept food stamps! How could a low cost individual afford their pricing plus shipment fees...?

I've used Thrive Market for years. The $65 membership fee seems high to me for what it is. In reality, I don't think I broke even many years. I don't know what they base their discount price on, but I have found the same items I use at the same or lower prices at grocery stores. My biggest issue is with trying to cancel my membership. They tried to talk me into staying with discounts, etc., which I accepted once and kept my membership. However, in 2020, they just didn't have many of the items I was interested in purchasing. To make matters worse, they also declined total orders. Understandably due to Covid. But it also meant I paid a $65 membership that I could barely use, when I didn't get much use from it to begin with. So, I called and cancelled my membership - only to have it a drawn out process as they tried to convince me to stay. Well, imagine my surprise when I'm billed for 2021 and 2022 memberships! $130 for something I did NOT use after my initial cancellation! This time I went through their CHAT option to cancel, just in case. Don't you know they have NO record of my cancellation in 2020 - which I made after I could not place orders. No offer for any kind of refund. None. Not even for one of the years (2021) since I clearly didn't order during that membership time, or into 2022. I really feel ripped off by them and I will NOT renew my membership ever again! Buyer Beware!

Tip for consumers:
Auto-renew membership at $65.75… Get proof when cancelling!

Your shipping people need to put "Fragile" on boxes with glass. So far two packages did not arrive on time. One arrived; a present to my mother; was delivered with three jars broken.

It's normal to have some issues with orders from times even that's disturbing, but the customer service normally would give you a nice modifications to comfort you.

Tip for consumers:
Don’t buy too much pantry butter products in one doze, unless you are confident in consuming up them in one or two months...

This business is a scam, and impossible to cancel an account I don't have with them. Their online chat system is trash, they will only try to get as much information from you just to not help you.

... the membership fee is very high compared to other online markets. I do understand that there is an element of charity involved, but for me the high membership fee may cause me to cancel when my enrollment is due again. The products are very good, the website is comfortable to use and the orders come well packed and in a timely manner. I've never received anything that was crushed or broken, which is a wonderful record!
The only other complaint I have is the Free Shipping threshold. Shipping to members should always be free, or if that's not possible, free shipping should be available for orders over $35.00 Maximum! Again, this is a game changer for me now that I have developed several other online sources for what we need. I love the idea behind Thrive Mkt. And if those two issues were adjusted, I would happily retain my membership indefinitely! Thank you Thrive for the good you do and for "always getting it right" when I place my orders! Oh also, I really appreciate the periodic "Free Shipping" periods and try to arrange it so I can fill my cart, saving the order til I can take advantage of the special. I also appreciate the sales such as today's 20% offer. I took advantage of that today and ordered a box full of good things! Thanks again Thrive Marketeers!
