They off a free item with only shipping then after you order they charge your credit card for 59.95 for a membership no where that i saw was that said when i ordered. Stay away from this scam company

High quality healthy items you may or may not find elsewhere, but it is cheaper. Items are well packaged. Olive oil bottle arrived broken one time. They promptly replaced it.

I have been a THRIVE customer for a long time and Ihave been pleased with the quality of their proucts, the selection of food items, health care items, and essential oils. It's my go-to place for gluten free, sugar free and some specialty helath care items. Having moved to Delaware, I really haven't found a store that has many of the items I have been buying from Thrive. Some day, I hope they provide free shipping.

I wanted to purchase 12 bottles of "Napa Valley Naturals Grand Reserve Balsamic Vinegar"
The website states that this is "matured in a series of cherry wood casks."
I know from other research that Napa Valley Naturals had been acquired by another company: Stonewall Kitchens. AND, they had changed this very fine product to using "Oak Wood aging". The taste is different, not bad, but not as good. The bottle looks very similar. (but not the same)
I wanted to confirm with Thrive Market which product they were selling. I received a confirming response that: "Our Merchandising team has confirmed that the Napa Valley Naturals Grand Reserve Balsamic Vinegar is matured in a series of cherry wood casks."
So, I ordered 12 bottles (yes, I have been ordering this product for over 10 years, from other sources)
When the product arrived, there were 12 bottles stating "aged in Oak Wood". The taste is different! Not the same stuff. Not as good!
I called Thrive market to get my $60 membership back, as their advertising and response to the only product that I wanted was completely false. This was AFTER I'd made a specific in writing request to confirm what the product in fact was.
I was told that they "could not" refund this membership fee. Too bad. There was no response regarding the misinformation and false advertising of the product listed on their website.
"Could they help me with anything else"
I was not nice and hung up.

Beware their "non-refundable" membership policy!

I love your philosophy, products and service. However, like so many website designers these days, you folks have almost certainly not done field testing with genuinely NAIVE learners (customers). I was in communications and educational design just as the internet entered the world. Alpha and Beta testing --and more--with unskilled or poorly skilled users were our primary source of feedback for how an interactive site was able to make it easy for the user to get the most out of a site. I am certainly not naive--after 30+ years in the field. But the way your graphics and categories flit around--almost seemingly at random--even I get frustrated and stop looking; and process my order before I might otherwise not be finished. Your site definitely loses money from my frustrations. I'd be surprised if there aren't many more customers or potential customers who buy less than they might otherwise. Good luck. I will not give up on you. I recommend you to many people--with the caveat, "Go slow. Eventually you'l get back to where you want to be." GC
Tip for consumers:
Don't get frustrated with some of the not-asked-for screen jumps. Hang around with the cursor/mouse and you'll get back to where you want to be. Maybe you'll find something you'll love. I did.
